"I stay at this hotel yearly for convention during this time. The location is very good. My room was #425 which had 2 beds with microwave and refrigerator. There were many restaurants and convenient store such as 7-11 nearby. The hotel people were helpful. This time I had made reservation via agoda.com. It was cheaper than booking directly via hotel website. However next time I will stay at this hotel again."

" The hotel is very nicely done - it's modern and the place is relatively new. Overall staff was friendly. There is valet parking downstairs for $67/day with in and out privileges. Or park across the street or around the corner in the self parking lots for about $47-48 per day. The hotel lobby is on the 9th floor so you do have to go up to check in first (and not the ground floor). I really liked the security in that once you check in, you can only go to your floor with your key card. The rooms are nice and big. Lots of space to put out luggage and still have a pathway to walk. Full length mirror in hall, LOVE the bathroom with the lights and bluetooth - hook up for music and also lighting is great for makeup. Shower is nice and new and the beds were good. It's quite soft so depends if you like that. nice wall mounted TV and lights under the bed! Very nice and modern overall with lots of toiletries available. Great location in the heart of downtown Chicago. will stay again!"

Also, coming back and forth to the airport in the blue subwayne to Monroe station is a fast and cheap way to movHighly recommended."

"We stayed at this hotel Thursday-Saturday and attended a Bears game on Sunday. The hotel held our luggage for us until after the game at no additional charge. They also did not charge us for valet on Sunday, even though our car stayed there until after 5pm. My husband and I did feel a little bad that we had a young child with us (7 months old) as we felt the hotel was geared toward business travelers, however the staff in NO WAY made us feel this way! They were very warm and welcoming and greeted our son like they did us. The room was smaller than most hotels but for downtown Chicago, I'm sure it's standard. It was set up for 1-2 people (few towels and wash cloths) however I'm sure the staff would have had no problem bringing us more had we asked. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone! We did not try the hotel restaurant which is why I gave it an average score. Cleanliness got a 4/5 because we found a tube of makeup under the nightstand when my husband was searching for my son's toys. "

"I came to USA for business trip to Grand Rapids, MI. So this is one of the nearest Big city from there, so I came here. For the trip, I read throu "Lonely Planet: Eastern USA", and they recommend ONLY this hotel for visit on Chicago. That is the most reason why I choose this hotel. Cause this hotel was founded late of 1800s, so it has more than 120 years of history. Inside the hotel I felt that kind of OLD things like, really small check-in counter, classic feeling elevator - I think they changed the door from frame style that we can see from the Al Capone style old movie :p The room looks modern style, but from the High Ceiling, I can feel really comfortable. It's because long time ago, there was not good Air-conditioning system, that's why they built it like this way. The bath room looks old style but clean. They using all the stuffs from KOHLER. Nice ;) The hotel Location is also really GREAT. You can go anywhere from this spot to the Downtown area by walk. And you can surprise that they have really NICE Gym facility in the hotel!! You can enjoy it while you stay. No swimming pool - but I can accept it. "
