Hotels near Shin-Imamiya Station

I originally booked another hotel, but then found this one and was lured in by the more traditional Japanese style, as well as the location. Bonus that they offer the free half bowl of ramen every night between 9-11 p.m. My friend (Agoda: you need another option for traveler type -- traveling with a friend/friends) and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was great being right across the street from Dotonbori and having the train station right at the end of the street. We took advantage of the free ramen 2 of our 4 nights, and also used the laundry, which is a nice amenity. Free to use the washer, and 100 yen per 20 minutes to use the dryer. There is a 2 hour time limit for both and you need the key from the front desk. Also, my friend and I wished we'd gotten the package with the breakfast, or wished we'd discovered it earlier during our stay -- we purchased it on the last 2 mornings of our stay and it was so worth the 1800 yen! Great selection of offerings. The only reason I knocked a star off the cleanliness is on the first night, it seemed that our room was a bit incomplete in the cleaning -- we used cups and they weren't picked up, the window was left open (we had it closed), and the restroom little trash container wasn't put back on the ground -- it was left on the shelf. However, that was very minor, and cleaning service was fine the remainder of the stay. I am definitely telling friends about this place and would likely stay here again on a future trip.

DO NOT CONFUSE THIS HOTEL WITH SOTETSU FRESA OSAKA NAMBA HOTEL. This hotel is SOTETSU GRAND FRESA OSAKA NAMBA. We did and went in circles trying to find it. This hotel was right by Dotonbori, major tourist area. I would have preferred a hotel in a more central non-touristy location. Close to train station. This hotel is very big and a lot of business people stay here. Hotel provides extra travel size packets of facial products. Facilities was good. We did our laundry here, which was very convenient. Staff was nice and helpful. Many eating options in the area.

Stayed here with my wife and 4 year old son. Could not think of any other hotel at better location in Osaka for the price. It's about 3 mins walk from Namba subway station and Nambai Nankai line which will bring you to Kansai International Airport. The only other hotel nearer to Namba station would be Swissotel, but it's right next to one of the train lines, while Il Cuore is located in one of the more quiet corner of main road crossings. Shoppings would not be an issue. Marui and Takashimaya are located right by the station area, and if you walk a bit further up North towards Shin Osaka you'll find Daimaru. A lot of various options of dining and shopping in the area with different street "arcades" nearby. In terms of facilities, Il Cuore has a great modern lobby and new facilities of basic business needs such as desktops and printers. Reception staffs are professional with basic English skills, so we didn't have any issue asking for directions or recommendations. The room and bathroom are very clean and more spacious than comparable hotels in Japan.

This hotel is perfectly situated near Dotoburi and right on top of the train station. We arrived in Shin-Osaka on the bullet train and the only hard part there was understanding that the JR line is somewhat difficult to utilize to get to Namba station where the hotel is located, but if you check the metro maps, it's actually a straight run there and a relatively short ride at that. Best part however is realizing that the hotel is right above you so once you get off the train, you just need to take a stroll down the station, filled with restaurants and boutiques and there you are. The room we stayed in overlooked the Hanshin Expressway Route 1 Loop Route and at night time, the road glows an amazing red leaving you with an amazing city skyline. Down below the hotel is Dotonburi to the east, and all the wonders that come with the area, stands that offer freshly made takoyaki, yakisoba, and numerous tiny restaurants serving local delicacies, such as the curry house that aired on Anthony Bourdain's No reservation while he was in Osaka. All in all, a great hotel, prime location, much more affordable than some other ones that charged a higher rate to accommodate our third party member, and free internet (very important if like us, the sim card you purchased didn't work).

I would definitely stay in Hotel 88 Shinsaibashi when I go back to Osaka. The hotel is very close to Namba train station. It’s also few minutes walk to Dotonbori. There’s also a near 7 eleven in the area. All the staff are very accomodating and helpful. They will really make your stay comfortable. One of them even went with us to Namba station on our first day to make sure we don’t get lost. On our way back to the airport, they brought us to the train station with their van for free, because we got loads of stuff to bring. The hotel is very clean, the staff are all very accomodating and willing to help. They also offer free drinks from 6am to 12mn, its a vendo machine- coffee, tea, soda, choco drink and even potato and corn soup, which is a big thumbs up for us tourists! They also have a 3 massage chairs in the common area near the lobby, how cool is that! Staying in Hotel 88 really made our trip even more exciting!

I stayed 5 nights at the hotel. The hotel is newly refurbished. It is in very good condition. Room size is small compared to other country although it os considered a large compared to other business hotels I used to stay in Japan. Location is excellent especially when you travel from/to Kansai airport. There is a direct train from the airport to Nankai Namba station (45mins). At the Nankai Namba, take the east exit (quite difficult to find the East exit, down escalator and turn around toward shopping mall). At the East exit, turn right and walk along the street until you see the traffic light and tuen left again. Walk along the street until you see the second traffic light and then turn right. The hotel is about 100 away. It takes approx. 5 mins walk from the train station. Also, the hotel is easy to walk to Dontonbori as well. Breakfast is not the best but it's more than our expectation (to what we pay for the room price). There are rice, Japanese curry, miso soup, fish, omelette, bread and so on. Staff are very kind and helpful. Overall, I think this is a highly recommended hotel to everyone. I would definitely back here again when I visit Osaka next time.

We found this hotel more easily than we thought we would! We were a little worried before arriving and had checked our maps but we worried for nothing. We followed the exits from the train station and the exit pretty much leads you within a few meters from the entrance of this hotel! The room was spacious - feels a little sparse and chilly, possibly because they had floorboards instead of carpet in the room. The room was clean and comfortable and we were warm enough. It was within walking distance to Dotonburi which was our main reason for staying here and there is a large supermarket nearby.

There are alot of 3-4 Star Hotels in Namba but for me APA Hotel Namba-Eki Higashi is the best. It is located just a few hundred meters away from the train station. There are so many restaurants to choose from in the area and the food they offer are amazing. The breakfast food they offer for free is also great. The facilities are great and the staffs are very polite and helpful. The hotel rate is also very affordable. This is only my first time stay here (I stayed in other hotel nearby before) but because of the great experience, I will surely be coming back.

So it was my first trip to Japan and I found this hotel to be the best priced for the location. When I arrived, I was surprised as to how close it was from JR Namba station and Sakuragawa station. JR Namba was a maximum of a 10 minute walk (slow) and Sakuragawa was also approximately the same. Its about a 15-20 minute walk to Dotonbori street or if you're lazy, you could take a train from Namba station (about 12 mins) to Shinsabashi station (another night street adjacent to Dotonburi). What I loved about the hotel was that area of town is quiet, and walking 15 minutes to Dotonburi you could actually feel two different vibes, quiet near the hotel and energetic near the street. Now the rooms: The rooms ARE SMALL. With that in mind, me and my girlfriend were fine with it as the space was mostly functional. The toilet was superbly well equipped with shampoo/conditioners/shower gels/hair dryer/shaver/shaving cream and even an air purifier! Front desk was also super friendly and helpful!

We stayed in a double with breakfast. The first thing we noticed was how great the hotel lobby was. Looked very high class and professional. A lot can be said about a hotel just by its lobby and this was impressive. The room was spacious for Japan, had a massive (42 or 46") wall mounted TV. Room was tidy and you have the option of choosing Economy cleaning where they don't wash the bedsheets everyday (which would be wasteful), and you get free bottles of water if you select this option. The location is great! Only about 10mins walk to Den Den Town (Anime-central of Osaka) and about 15mins to Namba (major shopping area). It's also about a 5min walk to Daikukocho station, which is on the main north-south subway covering major stops such as Shinsaibashi, Namba, Umeda and Shin-Osaka. The breakfast was the best and most surprising part of the hotel. It's a full buffet, with a Japanese/Western mix. Foods include bacon, eggs, beans, salads, takoyaki, udon noodles, japanese curry rice, japanese fried chicken, toast, croissants, cereals, tea/coffee, variety of juices, and a few desserts as well. It's amazing. Overall a great hotel, definitely feels more like 4-4.5 stars than 3. Would recommend to anyone.

Hotel is new and very close to Train Station especially for those arriving from KIX Airport because you can just take Nankai Express Airport Train (or the Rapi:t Train) and it will stop and Nankai Namba station. From Nankai Namba Station, you just need to walk for 5 minutes to Hotel. Just look for the East Exit and when you saw Taito Red Building, just head that way to Hotel. Hotel's staff is also very polite and helpful. In terms of room, it was the best with standard amenities. Our room for 2 is pretty spacious for Asian size like us. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

This is literally next to Namba Yasaka Shrine which most people don't come here for. It is in the middle of Osaka most famous shopping district "Horie" and Shinsekai, both of which are highly recommended for travellers. Also, it is about a 5-mins walk to the nearest supermarket "Life", where you can buy most stuffs. Look out for discounts at night since this is also where I used to buy my dinner from. Location wise, It is a 5-mins walk to Namba and 15-mins walk to Shin-Imamiya (I usually walk to Shin-Imamiya since there are a lot lesser people in this area). Room itself is typical of a Japanese business hotel room which I am also very used to so no complains about it. Do not expect a huge room for the price you pay since this is a business hotel concept. Everything is clean and well-stocked. Staffs are great since they make conversations with you too and they are really friendly!

The primary reason I picked this hotel is that its location was perfect (for me) for a short stay in Osaka - quite near to at least 2 major train stations, and also a short distance away from Dotombori and Shinsaibashi-suji - and the price point per night was just within my budget. I was able to check-in at the hotel at the afternoon and have enough time to see Dotomburi for hours, for that matter, and walk back to my hotel in around 10 minutes after splurging on food. I was able to structure my Osaka itinerary better. Facility-wise, it is what you pay for. Bed was great, aircon was manageable, bathroom was fine, amenities was OK. The room I booked was a bit cramped compared to others I've scouted, but perfectly manageable for a solo traveler. I only had one backpack and one 79/29 wheeled luggage. Had no troubles unpacking/lounging/sleeping in the room. The staff was great - helpful and nice to travelers. It's also relatively newly-built, so no complaints about the room quality.

ALPs facility was a little quirky. We didn’t know it’s previous history as a “love” hotel and still had a red lamp over the bed. Rooms had traces of smoking even though it was non smoking. Room also had a cash machine and slot machine, was equipped with massage chair, spa tub and shower. Spacious room and otherwise clean. They comped us free breakfast. Food was ok but more Asian style rather than Japanese style. No laundry facility on site. They only forward luggage to airport not hotel to hotel. Close to Namba train station. Easy access to shopping venues.

The hotel is near from train stations- about 2-min walk from Ebisucho station and 5 to 10-min walk from Shin-Imamiya station which makes it easy for us to tour around Osaka. More than the transportation accessibility, it's the kindness of the staff that gives us homey feeling. They even allowed us to leave our luggage first after check-out so we could shop before our flight. Thumbs up for that! I'd definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you so much!

This hotel is very new and everything is nice. The bathroom was small but had a toilet with all the bells and whistles and a deep bath tub. We stayed in a double room which was a decent size, but had to switch to a twin when we booked an extra night. The twin room was a little squishy. If you can get a room on at the front of the hotel it is better as the hotel backs onto the train line. The Shin-Imamiya train station is a 1 minute walk from the hotel and the subway station is about a 3 minute walk. There are many convienince stores close by. The staff are extremely helpful and speak english very well. They were able to recommend some places for us to visit while in Japan.

Clean rooms, facility looks brand new. Can be easily found. Best and closest exit to take from Namba Station is Exit E7 or E9 directly from Namba walk. Once you get out from both exit you will be facing Takashimaya mall across the street, turn on your left side from the exit and keep walking straight ahead to the Hotel, it will be at the corner of the street after Sega building sign. I loved their complimentary brown robe. Me and my daughter used it for sleeping. Heading to Kansai airport is convenient because you are right next to the Nankai station, Nankai express goes to Kansai airport cost only ¥920 for the ticket. I will book this hotel again when I go back to Osaka. I highly recommend S-presso hotel.

The hotel is super near to Dotonburi street, meaning you can shop, drop your stuff back in hotel and back to shop again! It's also near to Kuromon Market, about 10 to 15 min walk or you can catch a train. The hotel provides free ramen from 10.30pm to 11pm, free wine & beer from 10.30pm to 11.30pm, free massage chair, free coffee & tea and the best part of all... FREE MiFi !!!!! SUPER valued hotel!!! Will definitely come back to stay at the same hotel on my next Osaka trip :)

Pros: -Hotel location is very near Namba Nankai Station and Osaka Metro Namba Station -Walking distance to Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi, Kuromon Market -There's also a nearby Kohyo Supermarket (maybe 10-15 minutes walk), 2 Family Marts, and a nearby bus stop Cons: -Upon arrival there is no staff to assist, only check in via an iPad. But because we had problems with the iPad so a staff came to help us check in. -Small room - booked a Twin Room but it was cozy. Room can fit 2 medium sized luggage + 1 small hand carry luggage, has a mini fridge, kettle, hair dryer, bathtub and toilet, toiletries and towels, slippers too. -No luggage storage area - but you can store it at their other branch or go to Namba Hands Free Center (2 blocks away only from the hotel) or use the coin lockers.

Pros: -Close to a lot of restaurants, shopping establishments, train stations, and family mart -friendly and accommodating staff -rooms are cleaned and towels/robes changed every day if you request it -basics provided (shampoo, body soap, toothbrush/toothpaste, razor); thermos can be borrowed if you need one -there’s hot and cold water available, and the toilet is equipped with the automatic seat warmer and bidet -annex is secure (you can’t get in if you don’t have their key card) Cons: -small toilet and bath (tall/big folks will have a hard time) -no wifi in rooms, only at the common areas Overall, we had a great experience at this hotel despite some of its few cons. Namba is a great area to stay in when in Osaka :) Will def stay here again when we come back.

My mother and I stayed here for 4 days. The staff were very accommodating. They provided us with hot water and even assisted us in preparing our cup noodles (that we bought in the convenience store) for breakfast. There is a 12mn curfew so if ever you have plans on getting back late, you must inform the staff in the reception beforehand. Luggage storage is provided without extra charge. Location is near to train station going to airport. Walking distance to Kuromon market and Namba walk. The only problem I see here is that there's no elevator going up to the reception area. You really need to take the stairs from the entrance.

Initially I was skeptical of the room condition after reading some negative reviews on Hotel Misono. However when I went to stay, the room was large and beds were comfortable to sleep. Toilet is made with MARBLE flooring and tiles! There is even a stainless steel bathtub. Simply WOW! Note that the door lock is a simple push-button, nothing of advanced technology. The room has a mini fridge, small TV, dressing table, small wardrobe but no safety deposit box. There are also no windows in the room, definitely not for the claustrophobic. Décor wise is slightly outdated but still manageable. Walls are thin so basically passer-by can hear what you are doing in the room especially the special ‘private sessions’. From Nanba-Nankai station, the walk to Hotel Misono is a mere 5-8 minutes (provided you don’t get lost with the confusing streets). Another nearest train station would be Nipponbashi. Great for those intending to take the Airport Express train. I am most impressed by the lady who served the reception counter from 11pm-7am (midnight shift). She is very helpful and friendly although she can’t speak English at all. In general, the staffs at Hotel Misono are polite and welcoming to foreigners like myself. For the price of a budget hostel, you get the room of a no-frills hotel with daily housekeeping, free wifi near reception counter and basic breakfast of buttered toast bread, hard-boiled egg and tea/coffee. I would recommend Hotel Misono to all those want a value for money stay with some added bonus. Not for people who have high expectations though!

The price is quite cheap for less than $40 per night u get a capsule but stay solo in a room. It is very near to shin imamiya train station, just went you exit the station few steps you will reach the hotel already. There is Nankai Airport express at the train station which link to Kainsai Airpot Directly. Staff are good and they can speak english and there is a nice caucassian guy at the frontdesk too. Only drawback is no aircon or at least electric fan sometimes its getting stuffy at the room.

Should you be interested in a centrally located hotel at a very affordable price, hotel Hillarys is an excellent choice. This is especially so if you have interests related to Japanese subculture as it is in Nipponbashi, Osaka's mecca for such hobbyists. Being a stone's throw away from a very convenient train station, Namba, as well as having many good eateries nearby, Hotel Hillarys is a winner in my book. I would definitely like to stay here again.

I booked kamon hotel 6 months prior to our trip to osaka. So far this is BEST hotel to stay in namba area. It’s really near everything! You have family mart few walk from the hotel and 7-8mins walk to train station. 8-10mins walk to Kuromon Market. We llved this hotel so much even if it’s our first time. My expectations to this hotel is 5 star! all the staff are nice and very very accommodating. Very nice interior and ambiance. They even have a free coffee and water at the lobby. We will definitely book here every time we visit osaka! And i will surely refer this to my family and friends! My family loved this place! Thank you for the great experience

Unfortunately we were given the smoking room. The smoke smell was very strong. All our clothes were smelly after the stay. Fortunately, we only stayed one night. On the positive side, the rooms are very big though. It has a king size bed, a sitting area, a microwave oven hidden away, a karaoke set and a Jacuzzi. We had free parking. The elderly receptionist is very friendly.
