"Superb location - near to airport, near to MRT, just next to a shopping mall with foodcourt, cafes, you will be spoilt for choices! Great facilities - kitchenette (I love this) with a separate filtered water tap (how awesome), very nice pool, and a comfy sofa right in front of TV & love the walk-in wardrobe which became part of the toilet, so you can wear the clothes off the wardrobe and not off the wall hook. They also provide weighing scales (bonus point). Wifi is upto speed as well. Downside - there are startling knocking sounds in the room (receptionist explained that it was caused by the contraction and expansion of the metal claddings of the building). The lights came on by itself around 5am+ (But on second night it was fine. I don’t have an explanation for this, but apparently there was another guest who experienced the same thing some five years ago and was told that hotel has issues with the mother board of the system). Don’t stay in room 902 if it helps."

"Perfectly situated for access to the Expo Centre and many things in the Changi area. Within walking distance of the Expo MRT station, a supermarket, and restaurants. The one maddening aspect of the hotel during my visit; they had Kenny G's insipid version of Winter Wonderland playing on an endless loop. Nothing else -- just all-day Kenny G. It was horrible. Even the Soviets didn't suject their prisoners to the Kenny G torture."

"Pros: Great location in the newly opened Jewel. Clean room. Superb free wi-fi. Cons: Self check-in process is horrible, at best. I believe I saw a total of thirty (at least!) unique screens to click through. Couple this with a credit card reader that is not integrated into the check-in kiosk itself, an unintuitive passport scanner (also not directly integrated) and a key making process that completely failed. Whoever designed this system should find new work, it truly is an embarrassment. Pro-tip: skip this process altogether and go directly to the manned desk. Room is really only functional for 1 person max. Signage inside the hotel could be better. Shower allows water to get all over the main part of the bathroom. I get that the whole bathroom area is, in theory, a wet bathroom but it's not well designed."

"We had a wonderful stay and wished we could have spent more time there to enjoy the room and the facilities at the hotel which we sadly didnt get to do. The staff were all professional, polite and friendly. We managed to get to the city area on the MRT (from Changi Airport MRT Station) which was very convenient and inexpensive. We chose to stay there for its location as a stop-over given our flight schedules and it was the perfect hotel for our needs. After a long haul flight, it was just bliss to walk from the airport arrival hall to the hotel and check straight into the room. "

"Didn't quite know what to expect with our stopover and hotel as we booked the week before we left! Definitely would stay here again, easy to find in Terminal 1, it's all in transit so need to go through customs. Hotel exceptionally clean and beautifully appointed. The bed and bedding is of the highest quality, had the best night sleep that we have had in ages with 2 queen size beds. A lovely breakfast was included in the price of our room. Would definitely stay again and will let all our friends know who are travelling and need a stopover in Singapore. Very impressed"

"Quiet location. Clean, dainty little place. Ideal for a getaway from the bustling city. Breakfast was delicious. Had a good exercise walking all the way to Changi Village for food and sight seeing. Had a view of the coastal area and the beach while walking along the wooden plank walkway. Near the airport. Be warned though that the place is far away from the CBD or MRT stations. U either take a taxi or the very punctual bus service to get to the nearest MRT station or commercial areas. It is one long bus ride though, meandering through the suburban housing areas. Overall, it was value for money and I had a delightful and pleasant stay. "

"This hotel contains its own mall and waterpark just beside it, so what more can you ask for? Rooms are big enough for a group of four people and it has a mini balcony where you can hang your wet clothes. You also get a discount when buying a ticket for the waterpark if you had not availed the rooms with a waterpark ticket included in it. You also get to use the waterpark for the whole duration of your stay. The only downside is the location. It's almost a 15 minute walk to the nearest MRT station which is Pasir ris. It is also the last MRT station from the very center of Singapore (it will take you about 30 to 45 minutes to get to raffles place, orchard, bayfront avenue, and harbor front station) so transportation fare may be a little higher than staying in the main city area. Uber and their metered taxi works well if you do not wish to walk to the MRT station. Their hawker center is located just beside the MRT station and there is another mall connected to it where you can eat and have your foreign money exchanged. Other than that, I have no complaints. Overall, we had a great stay at D'Resort!"
