A nice hotel in a very good location close to Bugis market and Rochor MRT . Had requested early check in but was not offered . Was offered early checkin a payable room upgrade which did not opt for. Rooms were very clean and bed was very comfy but rooms are very small . With 2 luggages open there won't be a place to stand also but guess that's common in all hotels in Singapore. The best part of the hotel was the Handy phone which was provided which helped us during the stay and also book Attraction tickets with huge discounts.

One of the best hotels I stayed in Singapore! The front desk staff was really welcoming, he upgraded my room to a suite even though I only stayed for one night. The price is good for its service, location and the room itself. It's only 1 mins walk to Bencoolen MRT station and 5 mins walk to Orchard Rd. The room is spacious with huge window facing the main road. Best thing of the hotel is that they provide you with Handy smartphone that you can bring outside the hotel to access the internet so if you don't get a SIM card or wifi pocket in Singapore, this is really handy (no pun intended). There is convenience store and food court that's open until 2 AM just across the street. I definitely will be coming back next time I visit Singapore!

Friendly staff, no soap and shampoo though (just liquid body wash in a dispenser), neighboorhood is quiet and not bustling with tourists, Food Republic, 711, Starbucks and Din Tai fUng just across the street. Walking around you'll see very clean campus of Singapore Management University and their National Musuem. Lots of open spaces/parks around except for a construction in front of the hotel due to MRT Bencoolen being constructed - Im sure it'll be more convenient once this is done.

Hotel rooms are small but clean with great city view. Staff are friendly and helpful. The V Hotel Bencoolen is located to nearby schools (NAFA- Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts / Singapore Management University-SMU) about 3-5 mins walk, museum (Singapore Art Museum-SAM), churches (Cathedral of the Good Shepherd, Kum Yan Methodist Church) and food stalls (Food Republic, Thai and Indian restaurants). Easily accessible via bus, taxi or train. In front of the hotel is the bus stop and taxi bay, beside is the MRT Bencoolen Station (DT21: Downtown Line-Blue) and about 3 minutes walk is the Bras Basah Station (CC2: Circle Line-Orange). Money Changer and convenient stores (minimart / 7-11) is located near the lobby (outside) the hotel. Thumbs up to the location, hotel facilities and staff. We will definitely stay and come back to V Hotel Bencoolen.

I was a on a hectic 2 day business tour and I needed a place to sleep. I chose this hotel since it was close to Singapore Management University where I had to go on business. Check in was easy and fast. The room, though very small, was clean and had everything that a business traveller might need. There was a vending machine near my room and that was convinient. The high speed wireless internet was free and was quite useful for me. I wanted to experiment with food and I walked down to a nearby food court for my dinner where I had local cuisine. There is a great electronics goods shopping mall just opposite the hotel. Overall, it is a good place if you are travelling alone and all that you care is a good night's sleep in a good location.

The hotel is looked like beehives from outside, very impressive and creative. This hotel is by far the best hotel we stayed in Singapore in our around 20 times travel there. This new modern yet classic hotel is located conveniently above Bugis MRT station with only 3 mins walking distance and bus stop is also nearby. You can find abundant of drinks in the fridge including beer and soda free of charge and is refilled every day. At the hotel check in floor, there is a minibar also provide coffee and tea and some snacks all day long. In this sense the hotel is quite generous to the guests. We have nothing negative towards Andaz except if the staff could be more detailed minded and attentive, although they are already serving very well. Overall speaking, this hotel worth coming back again and again and we will do so in our future trip to Singapore.

Disclaimer - During my stay, the higher floors, swimming pool and jacuzzi were not available, and the carpark was undergoing paint works as well, hence, my review of the facilities were based more on the room amenities instead. Having been away from Singapore for awhile, decided to book a weekend away from the hustle and bustle of the city to relax and unexpectedly came across Mecure Bugis which was due to open just after my arrival. Check in was a breeze and the counter staff (Mr Jay) was friendly and ever accommodating; done in less than 3 mins. I had booked the loft and was eager to compare it with another establishment which is popularly known for this set-up, and I am happy to report, I honestly preferred Mercure's loft. My review will be done as a comparison between the two. You step into an immediately wider walkway in Mercure's loft, neatly arranged amenities, tall windows which let in ample light, and high ceiling as you would expect of a loft layout. Everything was in a tidy and organised manner, and the sofa rolls out into a bed to laze about on the lower level. The shower and potty are located next to each other while the basin is opposite them. Moving upstairs, the bed was nice and soft that your body would sink into, with comfortable fluffy pillows to get a good night's sleep, there is another TV upstairs as well. Reading lights are installed should you be one of those needing an escape by delving into a good book before a night's rest. Overall, I'd say that it is a value for money stay, considering that everything is brand new, smells fresh and the location is good for foods, shopping or even travelling into town(Bugis MRT is 1 stop from City Hall to drop off and transit to Orchard). Thumbs up!

I have been to many hotels in Singapore and this is the best so far. It's spacious compare to many with the same value. Not many come with swimming pool with the amount paid as well. It comes with complimentary parking and just located opposite of Bencoolen station, DT21 (blue line). It opened on 1st Nov 2017 so pretty new and some renovation is still on going at time of writing however it doesn't cause me any inconvenient. Orchard, Esplanade, Marina Bay, Garden by the bay just nearby. There are Food Republic and Din Tai Fung next to hotel and do try the restaurant (The Glass Onion) opposite the hotel if you do not want to travel far, the food is quite nice. The only con could be the sound proof however only when you are unlucky to stay next to some people who are not considerate and shouting till 2am which is in my case and the hotel is fully booked thus I am not able to change my room. Will be back if I am going to Singapore again.

This hotel is really clean with decent size rooms, great pool, very friendly staff. It is really good value for money for Singapore, as I got it in a pretty good deal with breakfast. Breakfast is mostly western-style buffet and it is ok, nothing amazing. Some things can run out if you eat late. The hotel is located about 4-5 minute walk from Nicolle MRT station, with last train at about midnight. Taxis are easy to use too. The hotel is not located in the most touristy area in Singapore, but it is also not as noisy. There are a few hotels nearby, an office biulding, hawkers markets just across the road, a few resturants, 7/11 a few minutes walk- so you will see a mix of locals and tourists on the street. Overall this is a good and safe area, and it is about 2 km from Marina Bay so it is all very close. This hotel is good if you’re looking for an affordable option for a decent 4 star hotel in a great location and willing to compromise for the luxury and famous hotel strip experince.

I came to Singapore to attend a conference at the Singapore Management University. The hotel was practically beside the conference venue. The halls were clean and the rooms were obviously well maintained although some of the woodwork in my assigned room needed refurbishing. Internet was very fast. Someone came after we checked in to ask if there was anything else we needed. We requested for an outlet adapter and it was delivered within 10 minutes. The facilities may be a bit dated, but the service is great.

We were booking the 3 beds no windows room, but when check in to the room, surprisingly the room equipped with window and the hotel used the additional bed for the third bed. The room with Ibis hotel view. Anyway, there was great stay throughout the 3 nights. Singapore hotel known with small room & high price, there is no doubt, haha! But my spouse and my 2 kids were loved this hotel room so much for its cleanliness and the simple facilities (such as 3 - 4 socket enough for you to charge your gadgets), and the washroom is neat & clean, shower pressure is high and functioning well! Complementary water, tea/coffee & cup noodles were provided every day when the staff came to do the housekeeping service when we were out. We were not taken the breakfast package as we know the eateries within walking distance to Albert Court and bugis street, we were enjoyed the local food throughout these 3 days. Very recommended hotel! Hopefully the management will maintain at current price next visit!

The Oxford Hotel is located right next to Bras Basah MRT which makes most of Singapore quite easy to access but even better, there is a ton of stuff thats within easy walking distance including the Singapore Art Museum, The Singapore Management University, the National Library and Bugis Junction so you really don't need to travel far for most things. I found the staff competent and helpful, with one even offering me her own umbrella to use when it was raining. I found the room a good size for the price and the rate quite reasonable for the area. I would definitely recommend it to both business people and those wishing to explore Singapore easily.

i had stay at some hotels in singapore at the same level as marrison hotel, and i think marrison hotel is stil giving the best offer to us. i dont complain about room space, since most hotels room in singapore are smalls. the reception and room service are friendly and very responsible to make the room ready. when i come arround 4pm there was no cleaning service staff (cleaning service staff not always on site), the receptionist was just run up to our room, clean it and make it ready for us, and back to lobby with smile. when we check the room, her work was as perfect as cleaning staff work!, we give thumbs up! for her :). facilities are work right: tv, hairdryer, waterboiler, wifi have very good signal, bed is comfort, towels are clean white. location : very good, very near with bugis street (bugis junction + bugis market) you can found alot of food option from burgerking, mc donald, chinese food, steamboat etc. transportation : very easy to catch a taxi, and near to mrt, i'd love to stay at marrison hotel again :) it consider modern, clean, friendly, good location for shopping and sightseeing, and cheap for it class.

Well, Actually i never planned to choose this hotel while on Singapore. but it turns out to be one of the best things that happen on my trip. Location : very near from bugis location, surrounded by a very interesting street such as Arab Street and the most instragramable street on SG , Haji Lane. for moslem i highly reccomended this place coz you cant found a lot of tasty and halal food around, with a view of the biggest mosque in SG. Cleanliness : Room is very compact as i can tell, very comfort with a new interior there. Staff: Well they are exceptional. very kind and broad smile on their face. never bother us and always provide everything that we need . Facilities : Room is very modern. they provide us a phone that allowed us to make a call or browsing. and the best thing is they rent it for free and we can use it outside the hotel. they provide a still and sparkling water near the receptionist which is very good deal cos a bottle of water can cost you 1 dollar there. Overall, i am very satisfied on my first visit on nuve hotel. i will go back for sure. and i very recommend this place for a solo or couple traveler, who want to save money but not feeling ease to living on hostel. this is 3 star hotel that feels like a 4 star hotel. Conclusion : Highly Recommended !

it was actually our second preference apartment but fate had changed it to be our best hotel in singapore so far. we have a young daughter who is very active. a park around the corner, easy access to bus stops that take u literally everywhere, walking distance to mrt makes travel easily planned. tugged a little away from orchard meant the apartment was reasonably priced. hotel facilities were comparable to 3 star hotel. its free internet access is well appreciated. finally, all around nice friendly staff frm reception, housekeeping, kitchen, even maintainence.

I travelled to Singapore from Johor Bahru, It was our first time travel crossing the borders, so it was a long journey before we approached our stay at Bugis. I travelled with my mom, so comfort and easy access become an important aspect in searching for a budget hotel in Singapore. I picked Fragrance because of my personal reference, before this i had slept in one of Fragrance hotels and i was impressed by it's cleanliness and nice beds. Overall I was happy with the room, it was small.. but we almost spend the day outside so we have no problem with the small space. It was important for us to have a nice sleep after a long walk in Singapore, so comfortable bed was the best in this stay. I slept like a baby, it was quite busy and noisy in the morning... but at night it was quite. My bad about this hotel was the bathroom. It was so small, very very small... it made me laughed when i saw it... but surprisingly, the space is all i need for showering... minus all the water splash there-here haha... one thing i love is,,, it's very close to the Bugis MRT (green/blue line)... plus Bugis is great area for shopping too hahaha,,, because we used MRT to go to Changi Airport, it was a good thing that Bugis MRT has a green line straight to the airport... so we didn't have to changed lines to reach the destination... it's heavy caring a lot of luggage. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a budget hotel within the city and you are mostly be outside the hotel most of the time in your visit... If you tend to stay in a long period, i recommend to upgrade the room into deluxe, because it's much bigger, you won't feel too claustrophobic :) plus the deluxe should have a window... from what i saw from the Fragrance website.

My first visit to Singapore and so did not know this hotel or any other, was very happy to stay here and would stay here again, most of my normal travel is in the middle east and in 4 and 5 star hotels, this hotel does not have the extra trappings (or charges) of a 5 star, but apart from that it could be a 5 star. The staff are all lovely and would like to mention Christie / Kirsty ( I was given two versions of her name) who works on reception - always a "good morning" to begin the day, and a few words of welcome in the evening, plus offers of umbrellas if it was raining. A lovely person, and very professional. I also appreciated Mr Hata Amin the GM sitting down with me and asking me about my stay and if there were any things that might be improved, I couldn't think of anything. Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were very good and the choice of local or western food is a good idea, this was a nine night stay, though I did also eat out of the hotel some evenings Finally the hotel is very reasonably priced for Singapore, so, taking it all together this is my choice of hotel if I get to visit the place again, thank you to all at the Hotel Clover and I hope I get to visit you again.

Best experienced we had. Very accesible to the shopping area, hospitals. Staff anticipates your needs. They are easy to converse with and most have a pleasant disposition towards work. Hotel,s ambience is 5 star quality. A very quiet place, and room whre you can really rest. Food quality, presentation is very good. Variety of buffet prepared each day. You are assured that you are secured staying in intercontinental singapore and if given a chance I would love to come back and stay again in this hotel.Our 5 day stay is a very memorable one and looking forward to going back to singapore and will definitely book again in this hotel. Just next time please give us a higher floor room, though we requested for this and was transferred the following day.Thank you.

I stayed here for three weeks working at Singapore Management University, and it was near perfect. The location was across the street, a block from Bras Basah MRT, very convenient, great breakfast buffet, I loved having a kitchen/living area separate from the bedroom, the staff was just lovely, laundry services worked out well, and the rooftop pool was a godsend after work. The only very minor issue is that there is construction going on in front of the hotel for a new MRT line, but this is certainly not the hotel's fault and the noise never interfered with sleep. Also, half of Singapore is under construction at any given moment so, who cares? Love this place, and will be booking as soon as I get my dates confirmed for next year's program.

I had stayed at the Parc Sovereign in 2015, so booked to stay there this year on the basis of my previous experience, when my wife and I recently had a holiday in Singapore. My wife was surprised to see the small size of the room but, since a hotel in Singapore is only somewhere for one to store suitcases and sleep, it wasn't a problem - if you want bigger rooms then maybe stay at the Marina Bay Sands, but then you'll have $300 or so less to spend on food and clothes shopping every day. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel - but it's so close to excellent hawker centres like Tekka Centre & Queen St, food courts at Bugis Junction and Broadway, and also very close to three MRT stations at Bugis, Little India and Rochor - that you don't need to go there if you want to sample that fantastic cheap food for which Singapore is famous. The environment of the hotel was a little shabby although the corridors were being painted while we were there. The pool was adequate, and the staff were welcoming enough and helpful if approached; when we arrived and collected our room keys, we found we were in a double room despite asking for twin beds on the booking. The room was immediately changed with no problems, and an apology from the girl in reception. Looking forward to staying there again.

We booked the hotel for our 4-day trip in Singapore. It was very easy to find. We took the train from the airport and did not encounter any concerns finding the hotel. The signage outside the building was exactly as it was shown in Agoda. When we arrived, we found it easy to find out what to do since directions were indicated on the first floor of the building. Guests can rely on the green signage outside plus there's a sticker that says "85" on the glass door. We took the lift to the 2nd floor and when we showed the booking print-out from Agoda, we were checked-in rather quickly. Our room was on the 6th floor, so we were instructed to pass through the 2nd floor all-the-time on the way up since an access card from the staff is needed to go up. Location is superb being very close to Suntec City and Bugis. There's also a ton of food places within a 3 to 5 minute walk from the hotel. Staff was always ready to help. Bed was just the right size for two people, though we wished they provided two single blankets instead of one big sheet. We also didn't ask to change it, so we made do with what was provided. We can sometimes hear sounds (either voices of people speaking from other rooms or sounds coming from the pipes, maybe for their toilets & water system). TV standby blue light was impossible to turn off, so we had to find a way to cover it. The cleaning lady was superb, she was so nice and even reminded us that she hasn't given us our complimentary bottled water. It's a good place, considering the price, for a place to sleep and take a bath.

Near Bus shelter 9. Near Bugis MRT station about 700m & Lavender MRT station about 600m 10. Pleasant and helpfull Staff 11. There is a tree in front of hotel (our room), so we could hearing bird twitter in the morning, always. 12. Azan (Athan) is clearly heard from Masjid Sultan, so we never left behind jamaah shalat. CONS: 1. TV Cable just a few channel, about 6 or 7 channel, no children channel 2. No Water Closed sprayer ------------- We will stay again in this hotel if went to Singapore.

I was completely blown away by Hotel Kai Singapore. The staff were genuine and friendly, the hotel was clean and the room i had was small but impressive with very comfortable bed. Singapore is so busy and bustling that it's nice to be able to step inside such a peaceful and wonderful boutique hotel and get a break from it all, after a long day of exploring singapore! The location is also ideal, bus station and MRT are few walks away from hotel Very closed to great shopping area and more. The main reason I swayed towards Hotel Kai during the booking process was all the positive reviews. I'm not disappointed! A good range, good service and extremely and professional hotel management and staff. I will definitely recommend this hotel to all my friends and share my "Small is MORE" experience.

hotel 81 bugis is a budget hotel that provides comfortable guestrooms for all, and is definitely an ideal, strategic location close to numerous commercial and tourist areas in singapore. the budget hotel is conveniently situated within walking distance of the shopping hubs of bugis junction, orchard road, marina square, singapore national library, shaw towers, suntec city, singapore management university, and raffles city. tourists can walk to the esplanade and fort canning park which provides local and international acts. just a five-minute drive away is the drinking establishments of boat quay and clarke quay. there are also plenty of food vendors surrounding the area, serving a variety of local dishes at reasonable price.

Me and my friend was in Singapore attending a conference and stayed at Zen Rooms Mackenzie for 5 nights. Our Standard Double Room was quite small but good space and clean as well as comfortable enough for 2 adults. The staffs were ever so helpful and friendly regardless of the time they were approached at. The best point is the location whereby it is situated almost like next to the MRT station Little India, the place is visible as you exited the station via Mackenzie Road exit, with very short distance walking to reach the entrance of the hotel. As a Muslim traveler, I was very pleased to find two Halal certified restaurants just beside the hotel, serving local delicacies as well as kopitiam style food. There is also 7 eleven, within very short distance walking as well. All in all, me and my friend had a really good stay at Zen Rooms Mackenzie, stress and hassle free, definitely recommend this hotel for others and would stay here again if I'm ever back in Singapore.

This hotel is located in the city center near several mrt stations. it is very convenient to approach any city center locations also near bus station. Room decoration and interior are very elegant because it is newly built. Room amenities and mini bar provided free are very high quality. Room is very small but it can be understood regarding most hotels in singapore have small rooms. Free cocktail,snacks and breakfast were also great. If you want hassle-free vacation in singapore, I definitely recommend this hotel.

I think you can't better hotel in Singapore at this price. Elegant and practical design for their relative spacious room (I like the shower room especially), quite at night, some cheap spa nearby, a nice indian restaurant open till late, etc. Of course it's not in the best area but considering the size of Singapore, it's still a better to spend a little more on taxi but much less on hotel. Staff are efficient and helpful, no complaint, but on my departure date there was some sort of video shooting in lobby, I was not informed so when I walked out of elevator the crew were staring right at me like I walked into a wrong place (it's c/o time what did I suppose to do ...) finally they allowed me out of the elevator to finish my c/o, but I had to drag myself and luggage out to wait for my taxi on the street because the lobby was still occupied ... By the way, want to thank the reception in their sister hotel at Sultan Street, she helped me to find the right hotel while taxi dropped me at the wrong place when I arrived.
