well-located at the heart of orchard road, the hotel served as a good jumping off point to... - attractions such as the zoos (singapore zoo, jurong bird park, & night safar)i thanks to its proximity to the bus stop at which the saex coach halts (bus stop was across the street from mandarin gallery which was "attached" to the hotel. - universal studios since the free-for-tourists-after-passport-presentation resorts world bus stops right in front of the hotel lobby - shops such as those on takashimaya mall, h&m, 313 somerset, robinson's... - eating places (mcdonald's at the back, fast food / food court at the back, the al fresco hawkers at concorde hotel) hotel staff were efficient and friendly. we checked in amidst a lot of people checking out but we did not have to wait long. the only complaint we had was the bed. we would have gladly traded the small 2-seater sofa for a king-sized bed!!

We are so happy that we chose to spend 5 night a brand new Yotel. *The staff- Very polite caring and helpful. (the best staff we ever had in a hotel) They helped us with planning, adjusted for us the menu to our vegan twists, even cheak and printed for us information about an event in the city! *The location - Perfect location very close to ION mall and MRT station. we mostly used buses. it is nicer to see the city this way (bus stop is even closer and located in front of Thailand embassy) we also liked the hotel located on the beginning of Orchard street. it is very easy to take a bus to see all the street. Since it's a one way street you can get out each time in the stop you like. * The room - small as most rooms in Singapore hotels but designed very smart and functional! we felt like in a space-ship with cool view on the city skyline. * facilities - 10th floor is Amazing! the gym is very good and new! The restaurant is amazing with very good prices. We got a 50% discount for breakfast for choosing to eat only fruits and veges in the morning :) kitchen is open till 22:30 and we used to get nice evening vegan fruit and veges salad that was adjusted for us! we visited singapore for our honeymoon trip. and i believe that one of the best decisions, which we made for our honeymoond trip was to stay in crystal club room of grand park orchard hotel. the grand park orchard hotel is located in a very convenient location, so you can go anywhere of singapore in 1 hour via bus or metro. it faces takeshimaya and paragon, so you can enjoy your shopping anytime when you need. i promise your wife will love it. also, takeshimaya has underground way to orchard station. so you do not need to worry about the famous hot and humid weather of singapore. the crystal club has wonderful tea, very best staffs, delicious food, and good services - but the cocktail night was so so. the staffs are very well-trained, educated, and friendly. the food - breakfast -was delicious. the staffs knows what i need and they are very helpful. finaly, the crystal club room has a laudary service of 2 cloths for free everyday, which was very good!!!!! it has gym and free water at gym; however, it is pretty small and does not have workout cloths. the hotel room was beautiful; but i felt that room was relatively small comparing to other 5 star hotels in singapore. but, it is not as small as other singapore hotels. if i have other chance to visit singapore with my wife, i will surely stay that hotel, grand park orchard hotel.

Staff was attentive, rooms are pretty small, can't open a window, felt a bit claustrophobic, but that is a negative with many hotels in Singapore. Hotel could do way better with a bit more TLC in the hallways, a little freshup of colours and general cleaning of the bathrooms (not just the everyday stuff). 24 check-in worked very well for us. Location was great for shopping on Orchard Rd, if you like shopping. Considering other experiences in Singapore, the hotel is ok for the price. The pool is great and the kids pool is actually pretty good with it's 40cm depth. There is some streetfood available just outside the hotel, Starbucks and other well known restaurants/cafes are just 3 mins walking distance away. Took us 20 mins with pram to walk to Chinatown. So, if you don't want to pay for a highend hotel in Singapore and need a convenient place to stay, this one is ok and won't break the bank.

As a family of three (two adults and one 7 year old) we wanted a hotel of quality at a reasonable price in a convenient location. We found all that and more at the Concorde Hotel Singapore – perfect for our quick Singapore business+leisure trip. Located at the "lower" end of Orchard Road, the hotel is spacious and fashionably renovated. Large open atrium lobby (with internal glass lifts) gives spacious feel. The service was exemplary from check-in/out; the concierge desk was efficient and friendly, and the Premier Lounge staff were great. Pay the extra few $$ and book a Premier Room – you'll get access to the Premier Lounge – breakfast, all day coffee/tea/snacks, evening drinks, speedy check-in/out and the Premier Rooms are more top floor, spacious and beautifully decorated. Despite no "view", the location makes up for it. Located above a shopping mall (everything from shoes to a food-hall/hawkers stands), the Concorde is an easy one block walk to Dhouby Ghaut MRT station, with taxis at the front door. Five mins walk up Orchard Rd and you're in the thick of shopping & fod heaven – from typical hawkers stands to 5 star gourmet dining. The Tour Desk in the lobby is linked to one of the large local travel companies - the staff are helpful and efficient and you can buy tickets to attractions (e.g. Singapore Zoo, Universal Studios etc) cheaper than at the destinations themselves. The free Universal Studios shuttle bus stops at the hotel on the half hour, and the Singapore Attractions Express Bus will cost you only $S5 (adult) each way to the zoo ... sure beats the cab fare. The hotel's restaurant is first class (and very reasonably priced) - popular with local diners as well as hotel guests. All in all - a great Singapore hotel option!!

We enjoyed our stay at the Royal Plaza on Scotts. Lots of "pros": Great location near the ION orchard intersection, so lots of fantastic dining/shopping around. Also near Orchard MRT station, so convenient to get around Singapore. Bus stop to Zoo/Night Safari right outside hotel - again very convenient for us. Our requests for early check-in and a room on a higher floor were granted - which was very much appreciated. Fast WIFI was excellent, and little things like free mini-bar, water & Nespresso machine were nice touches. Also felt that staff seemed to have that extra initiative. Only "con" for us was their pool area - on the small side, and more functional than a place to lounge. But if you're on business or in Singapore for shopping/dining, then Royal Plaza is an excellent choice.

We enjoyed the Goodwood Hotel very much. The staff was great and the location was good. There are many restaurants and shops within walking distance. The Orchard area is map after mall. From hearer it is easy to get a taxi to the major attractions in Singapore (Zoo, Science Center, Sentosa, etc). We ended up upgrading to a suite which was very spacious and nicely laid out. The pool nearest our room was very nice and felt like a quiet retreat from the busy city. The breakfast buffet was very good.

We stayed for 3 nights here. The location is very nice. Its 5mins walk from Dhoby Ghaut MRT station near Plaza Singapora. It has 7-11 shops available near by so u can get your break fast/snack anytime while on your way out or back to hotel. It has a neat swimming pool on roof top accessible by lift 1 only with an outstanding view of the vicinity. Recommend a panoramic photo from there. Hotel has two entrances, the other one opens towards the main Orchard Road, where you can find a number of malls like Orchard Point, Orchard Central, Ngee Ann city center, 313 Somerset, Apple Store. This road has multiple bus stops. Get yourself a 3-days Singapore Tourist Pass for unlimited trips to MRT & Public busses. Both have a/c so thats a relieve in 35C temp during the day. The hotel has a Tour Desk where as i suggest using Klook app to book at activities ranging from Universal Studio, Sentosa fun pass, Zoo, Night Safari, Gardens by the bay, bird sanctuary etc. This way you will not need to stand in ticket lines. Just book and show the online receipt to the gate keepers who will let you in :) do visit asian museum on Raffles stop, Fullerton road for Merlion. Good quality shopping is available at Bugis Junction (Bugis stop via MRT and exit towards Bugis Junction). Do not goto Little India, its very dirty and a mall there with the name of Al Mustafa Center (although cheap) but has terrible / poor quality products. You will be disappointed. Visit East Coast bay near Marina bays for a quite beach spot. Good for camping. On your way out to Airport, book a taxi via Grab Ap and it will cost you a max of $17 SGD till terminal 4 airport. Upon arrival, get a $15 SGD sim from Klook app It will give you 100GB worth 4G internet And free calls to last you easily 8-10 days even. Pick up point at Cheers store on level 2. Use mini bus to reach your hotel. It will cost you $SGD 9 per person with a travel time of 25-30mins. Booking stand is location at last level. They charge credit card and d

My wife and I frequently travel to Singapore but this was the first time we stayed at the Ascott Orchard Hotel as we were not aware the hotel could accommodate short term staying guests. We were very impressed by its sleek modern architecture, its quiet and serene environment (very different than other hotels in the Orchard area) as well as the welcome extended to us by the hotel staff who made great efforts to find us a room even though we had arrived quite early in the morning. Our Studio Executive room with a large double bed was comfortable, very well equipped with all amenities including a microwave oven and had a large bathroom with a great shower area. Also worth mentioning was the Soundbar placed below the TV, which you do not find in many hotels in Singapore. So overall, we had a great stay at the Ascott Orchard Hotel and would not hesitate to return when we visit Singapore again the the future.

although i only stayed for 2 days, it was a nice experience to stay at the grand hyatt singapore hotel. located on 30 minutes from changi international airport, the hotel was situated at the start of orchard road, the famous street in singapore for its commercial and business activities. with easy access, this hotel has the advantages to be the first place to be chosen for the night. the hotel itself was a modern style design, a characteristic of typical singaporean multi-culture. nice and spacious room design is another advantage. supported with great services, nice dining area and comfortable atmosphere, this grand hyatt singapore is definitely a perfect choice to stay in singapore.

I was staying here for 4 nights, from 5 - 9 Jan 2018 and I couldn't find a better hotel to stay in Singapore! Here is amazing! The location is great, not too far from Orchard central and there is a free shuttle bus from the hotel to Orchard to hotel again every 30 minutes everyday. The building is new and it gives you the clean and new vibes which is really good. The breakfast is really good, lots of food choices (the pastry, tho... Yuummmmm), and the tiramisu from room service is amazing! The swimming pool is also cool, I swam there every day. The staff, oh, they are all super helpful and kind. The room is so comfortable and clean, everything is new. Everything here makes me want to stay longer. Basically I will stay here again every time I visit Singapore.

We spent 4 nights from 19 Dec to 23 Dec 2017 at Shangrila Apartments, with 3 adults, and 4 years & 7 years kids. We booked apartment with 1 bedroom & extra bed. Location wise is very quiet and is within 13 minutes walking to Lucky Plaza. Small private buses are available to drive you to Orchards shopping centre area, with scheduled timetable, though. The staffs are professional, very responsive & have very good attitudes. Room is clean and have all standard apartment utilities, although the microwave is quite old (using old technology that is not as easy to use compared to the modern one). Booking with Agoda is very easy and the coordination with Shangrila Aprtments is two thumbs up. Overall, it is good value for the money with expected Shangrila standards. Ofcourse, We will come again.

We recommend this hotel as a budget hotel with a clean&big room and very easy access to so many places in S'pore. If u r travelling with a baby/child, u can take a bus to Dhoby Ghaut in 1 min. If u r travelling alone/with friends, u can just walk to Dhoby Ghaut for 5-10 mins. Near to the Hotel, there is a bus stop that can take you to so many variance places in S'pore. Even u r travelling with a baby (like me), u can just take a public transport (bus+MRT) to Jurong Bird Park and Singapore Zoo. It's very easy n convinient. Thank you Agoda n Supreme Hotel! :)

It was my first time travelling out of country so I made sure I'd get the best hotel with cheaper price, and so I decided to book with Agoda. Checking in was fast. I spent not longer than 5 minutes and we were good to go in to our room. Check in should be at 2pm but we were made to check in an hour earlier since the room was ready when we got there. The hotel us quite far from famous tourist attractions but there is a bus stop just across the hotel in front of Raffles Girls School. Also, you can take taxi just in front of the hotel entrance, or take a Grab ride. Rooms were quite small but really clean. If you are a tourist and you spend most of your time outside, you wouldn't really mind the room size. I had a great time staying there. If I go back to Singapore, I would choose to stay here again.

The stay was a surprise, as I have visited and lived in Singapore and never stayed at the Hotel Fort Canning before. The atmosphere, rooms, quite location, great facilities and easy location to CBD and Singapore CBD made it an enjoyable business and unwind trip for my wife and myself. The best thing was the staff and the team management was excellent. I have stayed at many hotels in Singapore and the staff were by far the most courteous helpful and friendly that i have experienced in any hotel in Singapore ( and I have stayed at most of the majors over the years!) They are to be congratulated.

this hotel is very well situated with subway in the basement and flanked by malls and eating food courts, restaurants and taxis right in front. can't do wrong if you visit singapore to stay here. i wish the hotel has tighter security with the usage of their elevators. most 5 star hotels we stayed in have security key cards that allow only guests to go to specific floors. marriott here does not have it so anyone can go up to the hotel rooms and since their lobby is so public (ie so many singaporeans hang out there too aside from guests), it is good to have an added security feature. visit the famous zoo, bird park and universal studios at sentosa island if you have kids.

i only stayed for a night with my friends (there was 3 of us), but my overall experience was definitely 5/5. we arrived early in singapore and got an early check-in which totally helped because we weren't planning to stay in the city center to wait for 2pm. when we got into our hotel room, everything was neat, there was extra towels and overall, a really great room for the cheap price we paid for it. we even found an extra pillow which was a great bonus. location, location, location! that is definitely the best part about this hotel. it was so close to orchard and even the somerset mrt station. we didn't get breakfast with our room, so waking up in the morning to get some food was way easy. we're already planning for another trip to singapore and have already decided to stay at this hotel again. i would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good stay in singapore!

when we arrived at shangri-la we weren't really expecting anything too over the top as we had not heard much about the hotel or hotel chain before. the check-in service was fast and very smooth. we went to find the room but had a little trouble, so we asked one of the staff if he could help. he took us to our door and made sure everything was ok and if we needed anything. it was only after calling the reception to ask about the horizon club benifits and the location of the club lounge, that we found out our room was upgraded to valley wing deluxe. from the point we were made feel so special by the staff in the valley wing. the complimentary breakfast, the hor dourves and beverages are amazing. valley wing at shangri-la serve the best singapore sling, much better than any others i have tried. the rooms are very comfortable nice big bed, electronic everything, high-tech entertainment system, mood lighting and very clean. shangri-la has definatly taken the crown for best hotel in singapore in my books and that is out of alot of heavy hitting luxury hotels.

I stayed just the one night at the Hilton while transitting through Singapore and it had everything I needed. The location in the heart of the city makes it easy to walk around and explore while still being a quick run tp/from the airport. I have been trying a few different hotels in Singapore on my trips but think this is one that I will go back to. Make sure to have your swimmers handy so you can try the pool area.

I stayed five days at The Regent Singapore. The hotel was very nice with helpful and caring staff. Our room was clean, nice smell and quiet. The breakfast was good. It took me only 10 minutes to walk to Takashimaya shopping centre. Taxi fare from the hotel to the Singapore Zoo, Bird park or Sentosa is quite reasonable. My son loved the hotel very much. He did not want to go back to Viet Nam. It has been almost a week since we went back to our country, but my son keeps asking me to come back to the hotel. I will stay at the Regent Singapore again if we revisit Singapore.

I have never been so in love in a hotel than this one. I booked this for a staycation and I appreciated Singapore more than ever. Every curve of the room has a purpose and the contours of the garden and the patio were perfect. I am definitely a fan of the outdoor toilet!!! I cant get over it so much I had to book another night! I got an upgraded room and I fell in love all over again. (standard to reading room) I love the natural lighting at the reading room and the outdoorish toilet is to die for. I have posted the photos on my social media accounts and recommend it to all my friends and family and strangers! lol. It was sooo nice that I had to show it to a local Interior designer friend, and she agreed on my obsession with the place. And the staff were so lovely. We saw one outside and she was all smiles at us! We also asked to check out the skyroom for future bookings, and we were gladly toured around. Highly recommended overall!! :)

100% recommended. the room was a great size, bathroom looked refurbished. Is very simple, great for people who are out all day. Food very good quality and value. Staff friendly. I was ill and they checked us in at 9.30am...I spent the next 24 hours in bed! flat screen in room, bed clean and comfy. Things you may not like...20 minute walk from Orchard Rd, but bus is $1.10 and is right outside the door. Traffic noise on pool side, but is quiet at night, so didn't bother us. Otherwise, this has to be the best value hotel in Singapore. Very easy to get to from airport, is around 10 minutes, or $S20 - $25. There is a huge pool. Basic, but it's wet! Great if you love swimming laps, as is a proper training pool.

It's our first visit to Singapore and we're glad we decided to stay in the YWCA Fort Canning Lodge Hotel. The location is very convenient. It takes less than 5 minutes to get to the Dhoby Ghaut train station, we walked from YWCA to Dhoby Ghaut station via Park Mall. Almost all the places we wanted to visit were within reach from the interchange. We initially only booked our 1st, 3rd and 4th night at the YWCA. However, our accommodation for the 2nd night did not pull through. The staff were kind enough to ensure that we can stay at the same room for the duration of our stay, which means that we don't have to worry about moving our things. The room is spacious and was cleaned daily. We had a beautiful view of the park. We made our online reservation to Universal Studios using their computer in the lobby. Internet use is 5 Sing$ for 30mins, a bit pricey. But at least they did not charge us when we asked for the online tickets to be printed. On our last day, check-out is at 12noon, but our flight out is not until 10pm. I inquired if we can leave our things, while we spend our day out. They said we can. They have a storage room for this. We were able to enjoy our last day and did not have to worry or pay extra to keep our valuables safe. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Singapore.

We stayed for 5 nights. The location was very good. It is at the begining of the main road which is called Orchard road. All staff was very kind and quick in every case. Our deluxe room was very big and comfortable. The worse thing for our room was the bed smell. It was coming from the carpet. Note: Be carefull about the tour agent of the hotel. It is very very very very expensive. You had better organize your tours yourself. We paid 65 S$ more for a daily tour (zoo+ night safari). It is incredible.
