Hotels near SM City Cebu

i originally planned on staying at the quest hotel for a week, but ended up staying a month. value for money when i was here in may-june 2012 the value for money was incredible. i paid around us per night without breakfast. by comparison, the cebu marriott, was running around us per night – a little over twice the price, and i imagine no better quality. i looked at half a dozen hotels in cebu before settling on quest. other hotels in cebu running in the $50 - $60 range don’t even come close in terms of quality. and my high expectations were met after i moved in. location the location is great, right across the street from the ayala mall, which is the most upscale mall in cebu. ayala a good place to hang out with plenty of restaurants and coffee shops with fast internet connections. (unfortunately, like most hotels the internet connection at quest is a slower than i would like for my work.) quality the hotel is brand new. when i first arrived they were still finishing outfitting the upper floors. it is impeccably clean and everything is brand new. the rooms are well designed, and the hotel has a clean, spacious feel to it. despite being near a busy road, i heard almost no noise from outside and always slept soundly. food the philippines are not renowned for the food. i haven’t had a meal here that impressed me. having said that, the food in the hotel is the best i have had in the philippines. it’s the same standard as you’d expect of hotel food in a us hotel that knows how to do food well. not just a generic menu designed to serve the lowest common denominator, but actually a good menu with really good food. (they do have all the regulars like steak and burgers, but they do it well.) friendly staff the staff have been consistently friendly and helpful. i feel welcomed every time i enter the hotel at whatever time of day or night.

Location is excellent as it is near SM City Cebu and terminal (just across the hotel). The breakfast buffet was good, including the in room dining food. Rooms were big and hotel relatively new. I appreciate that instead of providing sachets of soap, shampoo and conditioner, they have them installed in refillable containers, which is very good for the environment. Staff are courteous and helpful. Just one feedback, I used the sports gym and found no one there manning the facility. There were also no towels nor drinking water available for guests inside the gym.

My mom and I went to Cebu last October 2017. My mom is a senior citizen, that’s why I made sure that our vacation would be fun, hassle free and relaxing. Thanks to Agoda and Cebu Diamond Suites and Residences we really had a great time staying in the hotel. We also enjoyed the rooftop pool and the breakfast buffet. The location is superb! It is near the ayala center mall (just 3 mins. Walking distance) easy access for restaurants and souvenir shops!

I'm from the US, me and my filipina GF chose pillows for our vacation trip to Cebu City because of the reviews. Everything good we read was true. Its located near lots of attractions that avg a 100P ride one way. White cabs are always dropping by to pick you up. In the one week stay we visited Taoist temple, Fort San Pedro, Magellans Cross, lots of shopping at SM mall, and Robinson's is just a short walk away! Customer service went above and beyond what I ever expected. Everyone working had great attitudes, front desk was very helpful. Even got my room upgraded for free! Free breakfast was made to order from their selection and delicious every morning! Because of the location and things to do and the price, I will without a doubt be going to Cebu and staying here again in the future.

I have been coming here to the 'Montebello Villa' Hotel for eight years. I come once or twice a year and always stay here. There are other hotels in Cebu in the same price range, but this is the best value for your money. They have been remodeling the hotel bit by bit, and the improvements are outstanding. The hotel is located in Banilad - Apas area, across the boulevard from UC Cebu behind a small mall. The mall is very convenient within walking distance. The staff here at the Montebello are outstanding and sometimes they accept interns from the HRM program at UC. The hotel has beautiful gardens, a number of pools a beauriful terrace ans resturant poolside. I can only give them 5 stars, I wish there were 6 available. JoeKanoguy

Price: we could not believe what we saved by staying here. A well known chain hotel nearby charges twice what we paid at the Elizabeth and, having stayed there 3 months prior, we believe the Elizabeth to be the best value. The staff is outstanding! From greeting you every time when opening the doors for you to adding extra coffee in the room. Room features: very spacious room with additional furnishings, mini fridge for personal use, oversized bath, numerous bath amenities, full set of towels for 2, very comfortable king bed, A/C and heating system that is whisper quiet, large windows for plenty of daylight. The cleaning staff is very good at their job too. Everyone there is very pleasant and happy to serve you. They even clean and mop the brick driveway throughout the day! They will happily go to the street and hail a taxi for you or, if you prefer, they will call a private car to assist in your travels. The staff is outstanding! We used the restaurant only for the breakfast buffet which seemed acceptable to most, but I found few American dishes available on a daily basis though they did change some selections each day. I was accepting of this since they cater to many different cultures that travel to their city and it would be impossible to satisfy everyone every day. Also, it gave me the opportunity to try the local dishes. The bar has knowledgeable staff that know how to make drinks properly. The Hotel Elizabeth is also within a 2 block walking distance to the well known, super clean Ayala Mall. The mall is huge, with outdoor gardens and many restaurants to choose from. I personally give this place a 5 star rating for their overall cleanliness and willingness to make everyone happy. We liked it so much, that we cancelled another leg of our trip to go back to the Elizabeth to enjoy the last 4 days of our journey in a very relaxing environment. I have stayed in many hotels in Cebu, and will more than likely stay here or in Cebu Grand Hotel also booked through Agoda when u look at value, quality, and cost. Yes there are many other good hotels, but not for the price. CLOSE to EVERYTHING! Connected to mall which has groceries and great prices on top floor! Located on the main square / round about so you have many activities there that are very safe to walk to even at night. I would suggest paying the little extra for the deluxe room to get the best view. The hotel is also connected to Cebu Pacific Air office which is excellent convenience...also walking distance to perhaps the best hospital in Cebu as well as at least 2 pharmacies. The restaurant was sufficient and you have plenty of options at the connected mall if you prefer.

Radisson Blu has been my favorite city hotel in Cebu during my frequent visits to the Philippine's oldest city lately. It is just right next to the gigantic mall, SM City Cebu, whose owner also owns the hotel. If the Ayala Center Mall has Marriott adjacent to it, then SM City Cebu has Radisson. Although I prefer Ayala Center to SM, I would still choose Radisson over Marriott. I have also stayed a few times in Marriott and it pales in comparison to Radisson's grand lobby, pool, spa and of course great food. I have one complaint during one of my stays in the hotel and it was related to making up the room. The previous night I had an in-room massage using my own exotic oil so the next day I really requested my room to be made up. The night I came back to my room it still smelled of the massage oil as the beddings were not changed. I furiously relayed my disappointment to the housekeeping. Anyway I think this was a one-off experience as I previously has in-room massages before in this hotel and the next day my room was free of the oil smell.

we enjoyed our stay at the house of cebu hotel, very nice and spacious room, linens are very clean, room design is unique. the hotel swimming pool is also very nice, very clean and just enough to take a lap or two. dining area is very nice, designs are really unique, food is good. the only thing lacking in this hotel is there's no refrigerator in the room. however, the hotel staff are quick enough to serve if you request for water or juice. as to the food choices, they have limited choices. there's no filipino food in their menu. considering that the name of the hotel is "house of cebu," the hotel should carry some popular cebuano recipes or any filipino recipe. but overall, the hotel is really good. i will stay again in this hotel.

The location was very convenient. It's very near SM City Cebu and Ayala Center Cebu. I can easily ride a jeepney from my office or conveniently book a Grab Car or hail a taxi. I slept well even during day time as it was very quiet (maybe because I was booked in a corner room). Breakfast was very basic, nothing fancy but was not a big deal for me since I was after my sleeping hours than having a feast. They provide towels and basic toiletries. One thing I would like to suggest is that you put a door for the CRs in the single room because I find it "very open".

It is near three of the biggest shopping centers in Cebu, SM City Cebu, Ayala, and I.T. Park. A nice hotel indeed. Good quality hotel for the money. A hotel worth considering if staying in Cebu at a budget.

• 3-5 minute walk from the public transport terminal • 4-5 minute walk from Ayala Mall • Quick 15-18 minute taxi ride to SM City Cebu • About 20-30 minutes away from SM Seaside Cebu • House of Lechon is 2 minutes away. Seats are booked fast so better come around 11AM for lunch to avoid queues. • There's Nuat Thai and another spa nearby. Less than 2 minutes away from the hotel. • There's also 7eleven at the ground floor. Overall, great experience. Room was very clean and the staff spoke perfect English which is great for foreigners and non-Bisaya or Tagalog speakers. The only issue I had is the keycard. It was malfunctioning so I had to go back down from the top floor. Other than that, I loved my stay.

My hotel experience was generally great. The room was spacious and clean. The personnel were professional and very accommodating. The hotel location is perfect if you're visiting Cebu City for vacation. The hotel is a spitting distance to malls, convenience stores, restaurants, bars, fastfood chains, massage spas and almost everything. My room was so conducive for sleeping and I could hardly hear the noise outside. I enjoyed my early morning jog at the Fuente Circle just accross the hotel and the very satisfying buffet breakfast of the hotel. LOL. The hotel rate I got thru Agoda was too cheap compared to the satisfaction I had. Well, despite the old facilities, still, I would prefer this hotel over the other 2 hotels I stayed at during my 4-day vacatiom here. I should had booked in Rajah Park during my entire stay. Nextime, this year for sure.

Probably the best hotel in Cebu mainly because guests are treated as royalty, very professional and polite staff, always trying their best to help, I was always allowed late check out and early check in without extra cost. great recreation facilities (gym pool n spa). Location is slightly away from the city madness which is great, taxi easily available, only 10 mins and 100 peso to Ayala, also free hotel shuttle bus every 2 hours to and from Ayala and SM malls. Located on hill with excellent view of city. Sometimes very affordable rates on Agoda for a hotel of this stature which makes it good value. Excellent rooftop restaurant and bar but little expensive. Will always be my first choice in Cebu, truly a 5 star experience.

Best Western Plus Lex Cebu is responsive in answering to my queries in Agoda and Facebook. The staff are very attentive to my needs during my whole stay. I was able to check-in early (10AM) 'coz I just came from a morning flight and I'm too sleepy. Glad that I was able to rest in my room immediately. The room I booked is too big for me, but it has a bath tub that's why I chose it. :) The toilet is clean, and the toiletries are complete. All the info you need is in their handbook on the bedside table. That's where I found out that they have a shuttle service going to/from SM City Cebu. I booked for the 4PM one and I managed to get to SM without having the hassle of public commute. After a long day, finally some rest and I'm loving the King sized bed in my room! I checked out the roof deck the following morning, and it is where the pool and gym are located, and I'm happy to meet two Korean friends and one cute chubby kiddo during my morning dip. After that, I head straight to the free breakfast, where they served delicious food! I had kare-kare, danggit, bacon, cheese omelette, coffee with milk, sotanghon, and rice! I wanted to eat more actually, but I'll be going to the beach that day, soooooo I'm minding my meal! Hehe. I'll just be back! :D One thing I might suggest is to change the lighting in the room? I do not like yellow light that much.. so I prefer if they add fluorescent light as well. And I wish the pool would be clearer. That's all. :)

we booked ABC for the one night only as we flew to Cataclan the day after. The hotel is located in Cebu City, about 30mins drive with litle traffic (make sure to plan your return trip to the airport carefully however, traffic can be awful depending on the time of the day). Rooms were big, equipped with TV, electronic safe, plenty of plug sockets, lights, bathroom was decent size with decent shower, towels and toiletries provided. Wi-Fi signal and speed in room was fine. if I had to come back to Cebu I would definitely stay here again.

Express Inn - Cebu is a child friendly and the best family budget hotel in Cebu City. We stayed here with my 6 year old niece and 70 year old father. SM City Cebu is just walking distance from the hotel. A convenience store is just one elevator ride down. Breakfast is good. Hailing a taxi is not a problem in the area. I will definitely book again here sometime soon .

My family and I went to Cebu City for three days, we stayed at Wellcome Hotel as recommended by one of my colleagues. Our stay in the hotel, I must say very comfortable and very convenient, the staff are very friendly and generously attending our needs, esp. when we arrived early than hotel booking, the Front Desk Lady was very accommodating and super nice, she explained the procedure re Agoda booking and ammendments. I must say Agoda has done really great job as well. The room was quite clean and impressive my little girl wanted to stay more inside the room instead of coming with us for the Cebu City tour haha, that was classic!! Kudos to the satff, hotel management and Agoda immediate respond with my request. Looking forward to our next visit to the city.

I stayed here for 1 month, so I got to know this place well. The internet connection here was the biggest draw for me as my work requires it. Other hotels near this class are at least twice the price in Cebu and older. When the internet was working, I would get speeds between 20-300 kilobytes/s (bytes, not bits). They were having difficulties with their ISP while I was there at the end of my stay though, so I changed hotels. Wired connections in all the rooms, wifi only available in the lobby downstairs. Harolds is a lovely lovely place. Brand new, so new in fact that they had to make me a custom "do not disturb" door hanger because they didn't yet have them made. The rooms are luxurious, 5-star level given their condition. Bed was gorgeous and comfortable. Harolds is a business hotel - no pool, very few kids. Perfect for me. Restaurant is ok. Expensive. Right down the street is Handuraw, which came to be my favorite place to eat. Wonderful pizza there and amazingly cheap prices. Ayala mall is within walking distance, although you can take a cab or a jeep too and they have tons of food options as well as shopping. SM mall is very close as well. Harolds staff is extremely nice. All of them knew my name within a day or so and I had not introduced myself. All very professional and helpful. They will make up your room pretty much any time of the day, so if you're on an odd sleep schedule, don't worry. I've never had better cleaning staff. They organized all my bathroom stuff and everything I threw around the room and on the desk. I always came back to a perfect looking room. Do your laundry around the corner, not at Lavada Queen (expensive), but the place on the opposite side of Escario street (I don't recall the name, sorry). If I come back to Cebu and the rate is still this good, I'll definitely come here again.

Had to leave another hotel after sign in at 2:00 pm , searched online looking for better( much higher reviews) and read many not just 1-2 ( this time ) , found Cebu Hotel Plus , thank youuuuuuu ! Really liked our stay , very clean , really great staff (had only a few channels, so i asked if anything was wrong ,3-4 people showed up, later that night had many , many channels) we had had a great view of the mountains , buffet breakfast (they started only a month ago )really good .Will return whenever i'm in the area. To start with, the entire staff at S Hotel treats you in the manner of a 5 star Hotel. They are very agreeable, attentive and kind. This includes everyone from the front desk, to the security personnel, to Housekeeping. One of the housekeeping staff named Helbert made a beautiful heart from towels on me and my fiance's bed; he decorated it with our pictures and made us feel very special. This is just another example of the kind and personal treatment you receive at this fine Hotel.The bed is king size and very comfortable. The aircon is ice cold. The linens are white and clean, the comforter is cozy. The room smells and feels like new. The bathroom is immaculate. The neighborhood is nice and there are two great barbecue restaurants, several bakery's and a 7-11 nearby. In short the stay couldn't be any better and I was made to feel like a welcome guest. I have stayed here at S Hotel many times and I always feel like I am staying at my second home. I have also stayed at luxury hotels both here in Cebu City and abroad, and although this isn't a luxury hotel, I have never received better treatment and had a more comfortable stay than I have at S hotel. Sarrosa International Hotel is one of the best hotel for us. The place and rooms are very neat. The housekeeping always clean our room and of course, their staff and their guards always greeted us whenever we leave and came back in the hotel. I felt like home because it is very comfortable to stay in Sarrosa. On our last day, we've tried their breakfast buffet. I just notice that they serve common foods, I suggest that they should try to serve some Cebu's Dishes such as Danggit, Bolinao and etc. We would like to thank Sarrosa Hotel for your very warm treatment to us and hope we can visit again Cebu City.

All of things inside the hotel are fantastic. Location: Good, it's just around south part of Cebu City, near to SM Cebu City, Robinsons Galleria and SM Seaside. Rates: It's somehow pricey since it's just a regular room, nothing special. Security: They have 24/7 security. CCTV equipment are installed. They also have parking at the basement. Internet Connectivity: No issue with their wireless connection. It's fast and stable. Other amenities: They have laundry service that needs 3 KG minimum for 90Pesos. So even the weight of your laundry is just half kilo, it will still cost 90Pesos. Then another 100Pesos if you want to have your clothes pressed. The only thing that I don't like in my stay is the shower. It's already rusty and the shower head drips intermittently. But over all, it's a 8.5/10 for me :)
