make sure you double, triple check on how many guests you book your room for. These websites have become more convoluted than they out to be. Upon searching a room, I put 2 guests..then site gives you all the bookings available for what you put in, 2 guests, but somehow, site still presents you a plethora of choices diff rooms for two guests, using the site on your android phone , i selected my room, thinking i had clicked the room for 2 guests. I paid. Arriving at hotel, the hotel agents who did not speak english kept showing me a receipt for a charge of extra 36$ bc I had booked for 1 guest and we were two, so they charged me for my husband, 36$ extra.....Ya'll be careful, and read and reread, and look over what you are booking a million times, so you don't get an suprise extra charge!

We stayed at 6 different hotel in Hokkaido and Kushiro Centruy Castle Hotel was difinately the best hotel we stayed at. The facilities in room along with the amenities were amazing. Staffs spoke good English and were very helpful and friendly. Location is very good with a 7-11 right opposite the hotel. Free parking for guests who get a car (we rented a car for our 2 weeks excursion of Hokkaido).

The location is at the end of the main road, and between the hotel and the main district, there is no shop nor food at night. You would need to walk 10mins to the main district where most of the shopping and food are at. We had a rented car, so it was not a problem for us, 1-2mins drive. The hotel faces the sunset, from the room I stayed, I had a almost perfect view of sunset, and I have a good view of all the other hotels along the coast of the lake. From my perspective overseeing other hotels, I believe this is the only hotel with a good view of sunset without popping your head out of the window. The room was very clean, we had a room with two twin beds and includes a Japanese style tatami area, its a huge room considering that many hotels in japan are relatively small sized. Most of the staffs at the lobby do not speak english well, but always try their best to communicate with us when we need help. Perfect customer service I would say. You can see the sincerity of wanting to help you with your queries. Breakfast and dinner was alright, not exceeding expectations.

I do not know why you might be going to Kushiro, but if you did, this would be a great hotel to stay the night. The location was good for me because I had just visited the Okhotsk Sea Ice Museum (about 10 minutes drive away), and would be headed to Kamiyubetsu the next day (about an hour or more). So I needed a place to hole up for the night. Kushiro Prince is a 3 star hotel with the feel of a 4 or even 5 star hotel. I was there on a Sunday evening, and most of the eateries in the area were closed. We had dinner at the top floor restaurant at the hotel, and watched the sun set over the Kushiro docks. There is a mini-mart at the lobby with most convenience store offerings. There are strangely very few convenience stores in the area. Just a Lawson and an 7-i within 5 minutes walk. Parking is free for guests, but you need to validate at the front desk to get free parking. I did not know and almost paid 6900 yen for overnight parking. Which would be very expensive.

The location was ideal for those who want to eat, drink, chill out. It is a long walk though from the JR station, and an issue for you if you do it during wintertime. However, the staff were nice, and I appreciated their free hot drinks at the lobby, also their hot ramen at night, as well as long coats available for borrowing if you go out. Then the bath stuff and other toiletries at the reception were useful and plentiful (though one bath salt type never did got a refill while I was there). We also did laundry whilst here so in all a very good experience. Warning - if you use google maps, the pin for the hotel is wrong -a taxi driver tried to help us by pointing in the correct direction.

Basically we enjoy every moment of our stay in La Vista. We feel pleasant with the welcoming drinks and the natural ambiance of the resort! The room is so spacious and we love the view from our room, it can overview the forest and partially river scenery although we booked a mountain view room. Love to take a hot dip inside our room, we are so lucky to see some deer hanging around at the outdoor at night!!! The hotel is so lovely to provide some snacks, coffee grinder and a tea set for us to make our own coffee and tea! We love the dinner, which is kaiseki style and the seafood is so fresh, it took us 2 hours to finish our meal! The public onsen is the highlight of our stay as well, we love the outdoor onsen with forest view compare to the private onsen which have nothing special to shout of. There is a free ice cream and ramen at night after the hot dip. Also, the staff did arrange some carnival activities at the lobby :) Overall, we love this resort! Thumbs up!

This hotel is just 180m away from JR station . Can see they tried their best to give the best to their customer despite limited size ... awesome spread of breakfast and it taste good! It even have free simple supper with coffee machine for guests to drink ..small onsen at basement too. With just 300m away from the seafood market . I would say I like this place . Con.... kushiro is a quiet town . With JR pass , u still may need car to travel as JR may not cover all the attraction you wish.. we tried JR pass but certain area you still need to purchase bus tic and restricted be the limited bus schedule . I will be back to this hotel again but this time I may consider to rent a car to explore !

we had a lovely experience here. the rooms are pretty and the staff are just great, nice, friendly and can converse sufficiently well in english. they are very helpful. the hotel is literally across the kushiro station (which is also beside the bus station--which is important because train routes are limited and buses are necessary to travel to other sightseeing destinations) and walking distance to the recommended sightseeing spots in kushiro city (the bridge, the washo market, etc). this hotel is both nice and in a good location. just very happy to have stayed here. the only downside probably is the fact that they do no have wifi in the lobby and the pcs available for use at the lobby were not working or were quite slow when we were there. if you are not bringing a laptop, you can actually rent one, at a reasonable price.

It is very difficult to communication in Japan with my limited Japanese. I lost a parcel at the New Chitose airport. It is a Wifi card. No one can help me even the wifi rental Company. Axia hotel did help me a lot. When I was not able to call the post office at New Chitose airport. She help me to call the post office and help to send the lost parcel from Airport to Hotel. She is the best staff that I have even met.

All the things that other travellers said was true but like an understatement. The breakfast was buffet and very substantial. Their measures to make up for covid situation were realistic and didnt impede on the enjoyment of the breakfast. I enjoyed the spa within the hotel. the staff were really friendly and nice and room was comfortable. It was small but it didnt matter. It did have a lot of useful gadgets in the room including an adapter to charge iphones or adroids on with a variety of connecters. I didnt need to use the shower in the room because I enjoyed using the public bath area every day. Only weak point which differs from what other people say is that I felt there was a limited amount of reasonably priced and nice places to eat nearby. this was partly due i guess to covid situation but i was disappointed. i spent a long time walking around and around trying to find somewhere to eat. the eating area seemed to mainly be izakayas and seemed similar to susukino in sapporo which i dont like because they seem mainly there for the alcohol rather than the food. I did find one nice place called benge in japanese where the food was reasonable and reasonably good tasting, staff were friendly. another good feature was the location. it is close to the station and right next to the bus terminal and bus stops to go to main tourist destinations.

I like to commend on the good work done by the hotel receptionist. On 25/8/15, when I checked in in the evening, I was attended by a lady receptionist wearing spectacles wearing a yellow hotel uniform. I realised that I have left my samsung tablet at the Lavender Farm at Furano. I asked her for help and furnished her with the name and telephone number of the farm. She was patient even though there was communication problems. The next morning, she passed me a note in japanese and told me to collect my tablet at the farm anytime after I checked out of the hotel. I was very grateful. I didn't got her name but in the note, I noticed a name Kitashima, but I am not sure whether it was her name.

The hotel is just 7 mins walk from the station. There is a parking lot next to the hotel with 24 hours security (you need to pay ¥500 per day). The staff can speak English, very polite & helpful. Second floor got washing machine & dryer. The room is a standard Japan hotel but clean. Morning buffet breakfast but some items will change Everyday. I highly recommended this hotel.
