We would like to say thank you the staff for there extra help and also managing to get us checked in early and upgrade the room. Check in was quick and easy. The main reason for our choice: location. Minutes to walk to Orchard MRT station and Somerset MRT station is very near as well. This hotel is exactly what i picture a modern hotel to be in terms of client service and the amenities it provides. I couldn't have asked for a better hotel!

I love this hotel for its location. It's smack dab at the beginning of Orchard road (opposite ion Orchard), 10 minute walk to Takashimaya / Kinokuniya, 5 minute walk to Orchard MRT station, 20 minute walk to Somerset MRT station and 15 minute walk to the Al Falah Mosque. What I hate about this hotel is that it does not take care of Jewish sensitivity by not providing Kosher meals. They are also not Muslim-friendly because there are no Halal food. Everything else about this hotel is great. The rooms with a bunk is very ideal for guests of 3 pax.

It was a nice stay - room was clean and spacious for a city hotel, location is superb (in the heart of Orchard road shopping belt), easy access to public transportation (in between Orchard MRT Station and Somerset MRT Station, surrounded by taxi stands and bus stops). The worst was the phone reception and internet connection. I had free wifi but it was super slow. This was very annoying since I was here for business, which I needed the connection to work with my laptop from my room. The phone reception was very poor too so I had to go out to the next mall just to work and had my phone connected to the world.

The York Hotel was about 5 mins walk to Orchard Road and 10 mins to the Orchard MRT station. Somerset MRT station was about the same distance in the opposite direction. The room was very large, including a sitting room and a walk in wardrobe. The showers were hot with good water pressure. If the taxi driver has trouble finding it, tell them it is next to the Mount Elizabeth Hospital. Internet was much cheaper at Lucky Plaza (on Orchard Road) where bought us 1 hour, instead of the 15 mins at the hotel.

Grand Central scores exceptionally well on location. It's within walking distance for both Dhoby Ghaut & Somerset MRT stations. That also means is very close to all the malls on Orchard road. The Uber/Grab drivers also know the hotel and have no problems locating it. The rooms are pretty good and modern. The in-room water filter was a very very good feature - we didn't have to bother about buying drinking water throughout out Singapore trip. The swimming pool was also nice with a separate one for kids. We really loved our stay at Grand Central - highly recommended.

The hotel lobby is above an old shopping ctr floor, accessible using a lift. It will be better if a ramp is provided in the Orchard Road entrance before getting to a lift to make it easier to access for people with luggages. Internet connection is unfortunately limited to 1 device connection. The thing I was unimpressed with was I got checked twice for mini bar consumption. One before checking out which I find unusual and one during check out. Other than that, my experience staying here is good. Excellent service from the front desk and concierge. Room is nicely furnished, one of the best I've stayed in. Good location, approx 5mins walk to Somerset MRT station. For anyone who wants to make a booking in this hotel for 2013, keep in mind the construction that is currently underway nearby may create noises.

i choose this hotel mainly because its location – nearby orchid road and close to mrt station. just 5 minutes by walk you can arrive at ion and ngee ann city. for the ones who like to go shopping, i doubt there’s better option with lower price. just across the street you can find a food court in far east plaza, where you can find various choice of food which provides you an economical choice if you do not want to spend too much in a fancy restaurant every night. moreover, i find its service is one of best among all the hotels i had even been in 20 countries. i am not just talking about free mini bar – although it helps as well – the most impressive thing is how touching the staff could be, especially the ones rom concierge. i definitely would choose royal plaza on scotts again if the budget allows; after all, their service is something you can hardly find in any other hotel in the world. i sincerely hope that agoda can try to make its own service close to the level of royal plaza on scotts, and maybe agoda should send someone over there to benchmark it. in terms of hardware, it is not the best hotel in town; for example, i would prefer the hotels with better swimming pool and gym. nonetheless, i truthfully thank all the hotel staff for giving me a unique experience in staying here.

This is a stylish and historic five star hotel near the heart of Singapore, the Orchard road. The Orchard MRT station is within 5 ~ 7 minutes walk, and there are many shopping malls, supermarkets, restaurants, and everything you might need around you. So, the location is very good. We stayed at the Parklane split-level studio. It's in a different building, and looks a bit more dated than the main hotel block. But it provides very spacious room - enough for 4 people or even more, it you're willing to pay for the extra bed. The split level studio is well equipped with kitchen and even washing machine, which is very helpful in the hot and humid weather of Singapore. The bathroom is also very clean and spacious. Some weaknesses are there, too. The building and the room itself are a bit dated. It needs renovation, but still, it is very well equipped, and it doesn't look cheesy. The room doesn't have a good view, either. We're on level 4, but I think other rooms will be the same. So, don't expect too much about its view. The staff are very nice and helpful. I'd give five stars to them. The pools are nice, too. Don't forget to bring swimwear with you. You won't be disappointed. Overall, it was very satisfactory, and I'd love to stay there again if I travel to Singapore with my family in the future.

Location is so great, just about 200 m to Somerset MRT station, and so close to malls where we can find various food. Dhoby Gout MRT station is also at around 5-10 min walk. We met 2 different staff at the reception and both are so friendly and helpful. Even the cleaning service and concierge staffs were also very friendly and helpful! Room is clean, pool is at the rooftop and also clean. Breakfast was good for a 3 star hotel. Worth the price, definitely recommended!

The service was great, the staff is more than keen yo help you. The hotel as well is beautiful. We stayed at the executive studio and even that we found it exclusively luxurious. The location is the best part. The hotel has linked bridge yo the paragon mall, than just a few metres from the mall you can access the orchard mrt station. The hotel provide you with a handphone which is so handy and you can bring it anywhere, just making sure to return back before checking out.

The staff actually rang our doorbell and ask whether we are satisfied with our room and asked whether we have any other assistance needed which is very good. The smoking room does not have balcony or anything which makes the room smells like smoke in fact, the whole lobby has the smell. People who's allergic should never live in that "building". It is really really near to the MRT station, restaurant and also the Far East Shopping Centre! :)

Had to call the reception to get the plumber for about 4 times during our stay to fix the basin drain line due to always blocking. Had to remind the reception daily in order to get the daily complimentary newspaper. These two issues were the draw back during our stay . Other than that, the housekeeper was great. We had a very good sleep every night after coming back exhausted from shopping or sightseeing. The room is very clean & quiet. The twin beds are a bit smaller but very comfortable. The process of check in & out was fast too. Overall, this hotel is very close by to shopping centre, food centre & Orchard MRT station. We really enjoyed our stay especially during the Christmas Eve in Orchard road near Somerset with so many thousands of people celebrate Christmas count down. We will certainly coming back again to Singapore.

we liked our stay at the this hotel. if you don't mind a 15-20min walk to orchard road where good shops and restaurants are, as well as the closest mrt station, you'll find this hotel more than satisfying for its price. we didn't mind the long walk, we expected long walks anyway since we wanna look around. but you can always get a cab or take the bus from the bus stop across the street. comfortable and clean beds, hot/cold water, complimentary internet. i had good night sleep every night. plus the concierge are very friendly and helpful in giving directions and suggestions. note that there are no nearby shops/restaurants though, you have to walk a few blocks.

Location is good, walking distance to Orchard Road and MRT station. Free washing and dryer machine are available. Breakfast in Shangri-la hotel. The breakfast have many choice and delicious. The room is big and comfort. But the decoration and facilities are too old. It's time for renovation, e.g. Electricity supply from the socket is not stable, the temperature of shower water keep going down, steam room is not working, no daily replenishment of shampoo and shower gel etc.

the best thing of this hotel is the location. it's very close to Somerset MRT station or Dhoby Ghaut. you only need 8-10 minutes walk from the hotel to MRT station. it's kind of DIY hotel. you take your own key and TV remote, then turn it back when check out all by yourself. I left them in my room when checked out, then the staff asked me to go back and took them. it also happened when I asked for hairdryer. I had to take it by myself. well, they have hairdryer is a plus in this condition, so I just accepted it. the WiFi is good. you can access it in the lobby or in your room. they work well. you have to take your own bath kit if you want to stay here. they don't provide toothbrush or else. thankfully i brought my own. they only provide towels and soap/shampoo all in one. the room is clean though. house keeper come around 10 to tidy up the room, change the towel, and clean up the bathroom. my roommate accidentally left her luggage opened, it didn't even move for an inch. salute to the staff!

Stayed with the Holiday Inn Express Orchard Road for 5 days (21-25 August 2014)during my recent Singapore vacation. The hotel is a short 5 minute walk (or less) to Somerset MRT station. The hotel is quite new. The room we stayed in was not so big and there is very limited TV channel options (who watches TV anyway while on vacation) so its no biggie. Water pressure is strong and the internet was fast. Breakfast could improve though. Its basically the same option everyday. But the food was good enough to kick start your day. Staff are uber friendly and accommodating. Great service. Fast check-in and check-out (we were allowed to check-in early) :) The soft and firm pillows options made me sleep rather comfortably during my stay.

We had a good stay at Hotel fort canning. The hotel self is surrounded by a park, which makes you feel a little bit outside of everything which is good, however it is very centrally located and very close to the MRT station Dhoby Gaut, and the nice shopping mall Plaza Singapura where you can Eat a lot of nice food, although not fancy but more western fast food that they dont have in other southeast Asian countries. The staff was very proffessional and kinda stiff, but stll very friendly, they are doing their job. Although when we checked out we had to remind them that we had to get out deposit money back. Kind of an awkward situation, since the receptionist cleraly wanted to be done checking us out so we had to notify him that we would like t have our 100 sgd back. The room service food was not good, pricy, as it is in Singapore we wold think that the qualtiy of room service in a 5 star hotel would be really good, but no. Overall we had a good stay and might come back to stay there.

our stay with marriot hotel was very nice & pleasant. great location at the corner of orchard & scotts road and right besides famous shopping malls at orchard. hotel staff were very friendly and courteous. i expected no less from marriot and i wasn't disappointed. there's no problem in looking for restaurants, fastfood chains, electronic shops and even money changer. the hotel was also beside an mrt station, so going around singapore through subway was easy.

i only stayed for a night with my friends (there was 3 of us), but my overall experience was definitely 5/5. we arrived early in singapore and got an early check-in which totally helped because we weren't planning to stay in the city center to wait for 2pm. when we got into our hotel room, everything was neat, there was extra towels and overall, a really great room for the cheap price we paid for it. we even found an extra pillow which was a great bonus. location, location, location! that is definitely the best part about this hotel. it was so close to orchard and even the somerset mrt station. we didn't get breakfast with our room, so waking up in the morning to get some food was way easy. we're already planning for another trip to singapore and have already decided to stay at this hotel again. i would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good stay in singapore!

We had a lovely four night stay. The service as always was first class. Breakfast at the line restaurant is a family favourite. Also a nice pool area for the kids, this is not always the case for inner city hotels. This hotel is not near the shopping malls or mrt station. It is maybe a ten minute walk down to Orchard road. The hotel does provide a shuttle to one of the bigger shopping malls, but we only found this out the day we left.

This hotel place on main area of Singapore at orchard road. Room are clean, staff are helpfully.. Near the MRT station of orchard and you have to follow to ion park link to arrive to this hotel. Very nice stay and We will back to this hotel next time when we are going to singapore. We got good personality service from officer, he is name is Marchenko from Ukraine. He give us early check in for benefit, because this is our first time going to Singapore and give Us member as hilton of the world from hilton singapore. In loby you can get free wifi service. Very recommended Hotel.

Everything at The St Regis Singapore is perfect! It was a good breezy walk to the hotel from the Orchard MRT. It started off with wonderful receptionist (chinese male, wear specs) who gave us free upgrade to a twin room at a higher level! =) Not only that, there was complimentary fruit platter and birthday cake for all of us! =) The beds are comfortable and the TV has many channels. And there is a pillow menu. Their body pillow is amazingly comfortable! :) Please get them! But limited numbers. Only issue is their DVD library isn't that complete and the popular animation ones are usually snapped up fast. So either bring your own, or chope them quick. Wilbur, our personal butler, was all smiles when introducing the room stuffs to us. 6pm everyday, there is an art tour. The senior butler Prasad is quite interesting and very unassuming. His knowledge is good and he is very nice to help us take pictures. We had dinner at Brasserie Les Saveurs, taking their Semi-buffet dinner. Their Prime Rib is MAGNIFICENT! And if you are not a fan of medium rare, they can recook abit more for you as well. Wonderful service! Their semi buffet spread is really good!!!!!! Just try it urself! Breakfast spread is one of the best I have ever seen. And they have a special order menu for lobster omelette. Don't leave it out! Of course with their wonderful service, they extended checkout time to 2pm for us. All in all, nothing to complain, a MUST STAY!

My kids and I love this hotel. The staff were courteous, assisting us in all our needs from check in to check out. The rooms were clean and I love the complimentary toiletries  L’Occitane  The complimentary internet provided extra convenience as well - from communicating with my husband back home to surfing the net for Singapore maps, MRT routes and bus stops – all without the extra cost! We loved the welcome snacks they prepared inside our room! Gingerbread cookies, bucket of popcorn, strawberry milk and sparkling juices! My kids were delighted! They were so surprised when we arrived at our room after a long day of sightseeing. Orchard Road was walking distance as well. For some it was a 5-minute walk but with three kids in tow, it felt like a 10-15 minute walk! But it was sure well worth the adventure so my kids didn’t mind at all. We took the MRT stationed at ION – which was supposedly the nearest station. For emergency stuff, Tanglin Mall/Place was just beside the hotel. They had a grocery and pharmacy. The shops there were more of specialty shop though – I thought they were kind of pricey and not much to see and buy. So many good memories. My kids and I will definitely stay in this hotel when we visit Singapore again. The way my kids are raving about the place, I guess it won’t be long…

The location is wonderful with many good eating places like Killiney Kopitiam and restaurants. Most importantly, its only take 10 minute walk to the heart of Orchard Road and very near Somerset mrt station. Stayed for a night in deluxe room (The Business) to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday. Room which has a outdoor bathroom, is clean and nicely furnished. The floor of the room was concrete, the bed was on a raised wooden platfor and equipped with 2 Samsung smart TV. We received complimentary WIFI (speed is fast) and breakfast for two at the nearby Killiney Kopitiam. Limited carpark lots are by the roadside just outside hotel. The staff members are very helpful. Overall, we had a pleasant stay in Llyods Inn and I would definitely stay here again. Stayed 09 Dec 2014.

Very friendly and welcoming staff team, every single person greeted us at all times even when we ran across them in the parking lot. We were shown around the property when we arrived and got to see all facilities. Breakfast was nice, always refilled with fresh fruit, toast etc. Free coffee 24 hours from machine in lobby. Nice gym area, open 24 hours. very nice pool area with plenty of shade and free pool towels. We booked a one room apartment which was very sufficient for one week, but had of course some minor limitations, such as only one comfy chair for 2 people (plus two kitchen chairs). No electrical outlet in the bathroom, so you must blowdry your hair in livingroom with no mirror. very convenient to have our own washing machine in the bathroom. a foldable hanging rack for clothes would have been perfect to have. upon arrival, basic set of groceries is provided, very convenient. plenty of supermarkets nearby, lookout for cold storage or fairprice shops. fresh drinking water provided daily and additionally upon request by reception. no housekeeping on weekends, but we were told we could ask for fresh towels from reception those days too. Residence location is off Orchard Rd on a side street, you can cross through to Scotts Plaza Hotel lobby via carpark. Orchard MRT station must be reached via underpass through 2 malls, which can be a bit tiring at times. would come again, mostly for friendly staff and great pool area.

I think what clinched the stay for me and my friend is the buffet breakfast. The spread was relatively simple but had enough variety to cater to preferences, whether Asian, continental or American. The food was also well prepared. I love the soft and fluffy French toast. They were not greasy. So, the complimentary breakfast buffet capped a lovely stay. Don't get me wrong - this is budget but well-apportioned budget. The double room is not as small as another place I've stayed in. It is also well equipped and comes with a mini fridge, hair dryer and even a safe. Location is also good to the nearest MRT station. Come to think of it, it was also quiet. Maybe that's because ours was a windowless room which is fine for one night. I'd come back.

Best place to check in, few steps away at Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station and Bus Stations. Just across the park mall building beside Fort Canning Lodge, there is a short cut going to establishments, bus station and dhoby ghaut mrt station. Agoda, kindly include this info on your site or app that Fort Canning Lodge has a Free Wifi in every room, I thought there was no wifi. Very convenient.. To all pinoys out there this is value for money. From Changi Airport Terminal 2 to the Hotel I rode a Chrysler Taxi, I paid $35.. Just want to experience that kind of taxi ☺️. I think the ordinary taxi much cheaper than this. Enjoy everyone.. God Bless us all. Always pray wherever you go.

The hotel is very near from orchard MRT station, it only takes 5 minutes walk from the hotel to the station. If you wanna take, the bus station is just in front of the hotel. So you can go everywhere easily. There are many restaurants, shops along the street near the hotel. One of the best things from this hotel is their services. They even provided us an early check-in because we arrived there at 9 in the morning. So, beside getting a warmth welcome, we also had a great lunch at black angus restaurant inside the hotel. Just Fantastic !
