have stayed at this hotel countless times, always pleased with the friendly service and decent, comfortable rooms. but this time round, we encountered a rather impatient and expressionless reception staff. it's the best value for money hotel in the vicinity. the hotel is close to the central business district and major shopping areas. there is no mrt station really close by, but it's only a short and relatively cheap taxi ride to these places. for a little more, try to upgrade to the executive rooms, which are more luxurious and comfortable. all the rooms are pretty spacious in general though.

Good value for money £600 for 3 adults for 7 nights bed and breakfast. Room was small but clean. Room had kettle, fridge, hairdryer and air con. Pool had plenty of shade and loungers, everything a bit tired but for the price cannot complain. Breakfast was cornflakes (not that nice) and coco pops type ceral. Toast, eggs, hot dogs and beans, tea and coffee. Great value, as stayed in other hotels and breakfast was extra. I bought my own cereal and used the milk and had toast and tea, which suited me. Also hotel has lovely views of river, and is 5 minutes walk to Robertson quay, nice restaurants and bars just outside hotel. Highly recommend small cafe/ bisto called pie and coffee, 5 minute walk from hotel, reasonably priced and home cooked food. We had eaten at the hawker centres for over 10 days and fancied pie and mash, which was excellent.

after reading reviews about this hotel i was not looking forward to a very good stay, but i was very impressed with the whole experience, we arrived at six in the morning and as check in is not normally till two in the afternoon we where expecting a long wait but was very surprised to have a room prepared for us by ten that morning, complimentary tea and coffee and refreshments where supplied and we where given access to the club rooms lounge where breakfast is served as well as all day refreshments and evening drinks and food inclusive if you book a club room which is worth every cent. our room was on the top floor and had a small balcony, the hotel is on a busy road but right opposite the river which we would stroll along each evening as they have some real nice restaurants all the way along. just perfect

We had 5 nts in Singapore and spent Christmas at park hotel. Got a good deal on Agoda and we really enjoyed our stay and would return again. Very new and good access to restaurants and taxis but quite far to walk to mrt. Especially in hot humid weather. I think if there are two of you, you are better off taking taxis as they are relatively cheap plus the drivers are honest and we have never had problems with being taken for a long scenic ride and they always give you the correct change. Very refreshing. Some taxis have slightly higher flagfall if they are bigger or newer but it is only 20 to 60c extra so don't worry too much. Just don't get the Mercedes Benz taxis as I think they cost a lot more. Save your money for the campagne brunch at the ritz Carlton instead! Quite popular so better make a booking. Also much better value than raffles high tea unless you prefer Darjeeling to bubbly. For seafood nearby try Jumbo seafood in Clarke quay. I think they are next to the micro brewery. You should order the chilli crabs and wash it down with tiger beer. Quite tasty. For lunch you cannot go past the $15 lunch specials at restaurants in Clarke quay. It includes service fees and gst. Cheaper than macdonalds in London! And if you want to spend even less then go to the hawker centres such as Maxwell food food court or Lau pa sat near shenton way. There are also coffee shops called kopitiams within walking distance. Read more in my review. Not noisy at all and best of all it has a big pool with nice lounge beds. Rooms are rather small but very clean and feature luxurious fittings such as bath robes and Sony flat screen LCD tv with lots of channels. I also liked the rain shower head as it had good water pressure and a separate hand held shower. We also received a Christmas gift but it was only a biscuit inside a pretty red bag! Oh well at least it was a sweet gesture. The hotel also arranged for carol singers at the lobby who actually sang pretty well.

Booked the Executive Family room with two single beds and one queen sized bed and it was perfect for our family of four! Spacious toilet with hot and cold water, free toiletries and a bath tub to soak in after each day's adventure in the city. The room is cleaned daily and fresh towels are issued out daily too. There is a combination safe for your valuables, mini fridge and complimentary water bottles, coffee, tea and crackers. There is a nice view of the city at night on the rooftop perfect for sitting around and having a few beers while planning the following day's trip. :) What we liked most is it's location -- very near Clarke quay MRT station about three stations away from Sentosa island. So we had the convenience of riding the MRT (and a mode of cheap transport to almost ALL places in Singapore) and not stressing the kids out while commuting. All in all, it was a very pleasant and restfull stay in Jayleen 1918. Thanks Irene for everything! 😄👌

hotel area: clarke quay. getting around: 15 – 20 min leisure walk along the river to clarke quay area and mrt. hotel shuttle service from hotel departs every hour to orchard road shopping district, clarke quay mrt and ends in chinatown. shuttle service at the hotel stops at 8:00pm. taxi service was easily available. taxi service can be booked at a $3.00 premium. bus: a bus stop is located on the other side of moh sultan rd near 7-11 which will take you to clarke quay mrt and many other locations. hotel staff: friendly and very helpful. food: plenty of restaurants available along the river, 3 – 5 min walk. no hawker centers in the area but a food court is located within a 5-7 min walk from the hotel, where kopitiam food court, mc donald’s w/mc café and starbucks coffee are located on the street level floor. a supermarket is located in the basement floor of the mall. have a lot of electronic gizmos? don’t forget your universal switch or pay $5.00 deposit at the hotel desk to use during your stay. universal switches are also for sale in all 7 elevens for about 8 sgd. room: small, split level with stairs leading up to a small loft area with queen size bed. not recommended for the elderly or large frame folks. bathroom: toilet and shower room is separated on either side of the entrance way, both are very small. a tight fit for folks with a larger frame. all in all not a bad hotel. great for a single person or two people with smaller frames. also, two separate rooms for a young family with older kids.

My employer booked this hotel for several days of my work, and I stayed on for a few extra days at my own expense. Glad I did. The hotel is new and modern, although the rooms are a bit smallish. That didn't bother me because I'm accustomed to small rooms from stays at similar hotels in Hong Kong. The staff was unfailingly polite and helpful, making me feel pampered and well cared for. Clarke Quay and The Central Mall are located on the opposite side of Merchant Road. Many food choices there from swank restaurants to a food courts. There's a Starbucks at Central as well as a Ya Kun Coffee Shop (the kaya toast is excellent). The Clarke Quay MRT station is there as well, 5 minutes walk from the hotel. I would stay at this hotel again.

On my table in the room, there is a form for me to do a daily feedback about the customers' need(s) within the room. I pointed out a few problems and I sent in the form at the reception counter when I went out for meetings in the early morning. When I came back in the evening, I found the instant changes and rectification. Later, there was a friendly personnel called me to ask for my level of satisfaction. Even though Miramar Hotel, Clarke Quay is a 4 stars hotel, however, I receive a 5-star treatments. The food in the restaurants are very good and value for money especially the Japanese Buffet at IKOI Japanese Restaurant. The sashimi platter and the seafood soups are fresh, delicious and good with the friendly, patient and helpful kitchen workers/ chefs and waitresses/ waiters. I will definitely come back again.

We have stayed at Fragrance hotel Riverside for 3 days and we didn't expect much for the price from 3 star hotel, however we got 5 star hotel treatment. Stuff is very helpful at all times, we have got an upgraded room with mobile phone included (yes, mobile, which you can take anywhere you want), it had unlimited internet and local calls as well as free overseas calls to selected countries, Australia was one of them). I believe you get them with superior rooms. This was a very good bonus which was incredibly helpful during our stat. Location was amazing, across the road from train station, 5 minutes walk to china town with cheap food and 5-10 minutes walk to the main clarke quay strip with all bars and restaurants. Rooms are relatively small, however very clean and modern with good size tv and free wifi. There is a pool on the roof which has glass walls around it and good size, which we didn't expect for 3 star hotel. Definetely above average hotel and great value for money, highly recomended and we definetely staying there again in the future.

Spend 2 night at this hotel and can fully recommend this one. New hotel and modern in all aspects. Staff were efficient and polite from booking to cleaners. Special mention to staff working at breakfast buffet. Always smiling and on hand to clean tables within seconds of leaving empty plates. The buffet was good and plentiful and suitable variety on offer. Small but okay gym located on top floor and next to very inviting pool The hotel location was a 5 min walk to Clark Quay and one of the best nightlife scenes in Singapore. MRT is very close and allows easy access to entire city. Highly recommended

I recently stayed here with my parents and a toddler for our first trip to Singapore. The main reason I chose this place was the location and the comfortable size for entire family. I am so used to hotels in US where most places offer 2 double beds in a single room. When I was doing search, I quickly realize that is not the case in Singapore and usually the room sizes are much smaller. Since I didn't want to split the family into two separate rooms, I had very limited choices, and this was the best choice for the location and cost. I am very happy which my choice, since this place was more than I expected. It is located in UE square (shopping plaza, if you are going to take a taxi, you can just say this instead of hotel name). UE square has grocery store and convenient store other than few restaurants. Also, this place is located in between Clarke quay and Robertson quay, two trendy places along water with tons of dinning options. Also, it has 3 bus lines right in front, and Clarke quay metro is only about a 1 km (13min walk). UE square also offers a free shuttle to Dhoby Ghaut in the morning and in the evening. When I book this place, I didn't know but this place actually has complimentary breakfast. It is nothing fancy, but decent enough. They offer some pastries, fruits, cereal, porridge, and steamed buns or sticky rice with coffee and juice. Pool is clean and standard size. During afternoon it was under shade (since it is surrounded by high buildings), so it was very pleasant to swim. The staffs are fantastic here. They are very attentive, pleasant, and helpful. They offer cleaning every other day, and unfortunately my toddler wet the bed the first day. I requested to change bedding and they came right away and did cleaning with no extra charge. Another bonus is that they offer free cell phone. You can use it to call few countries for free (includes Singapore, US, India, Japan, etc) and use google map or internet. The Best Service we had in last few years. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary. Yet we forgot to make reservation at the restaurant preferred before arriving Singapore. On 4th Aug, the staff on duty at reception, including Muhammed, worked really hard to help us secure a table. This service was beyond our expectation. We just asked for info, but they helped out in the whole process. We had really happy experience at the famous National Kitchen on our anniversary. Second story is the Plum & Toro Restaurant, we were really tired at the end of our journey, and had a really beautiful lunch there before leaving Singapore. Everything was good, the food, the chefs, the services, the ambience. The Bellboy, the staff @ Breakfast table, even the cleaning lady. Everything was perfect. After booked a 1night stay, will like to Thanks Novelia A for the response message when requested for a Birthday greeting card & reservation at their restaurant with no hassle. At lobby, you can self help with ice water while waiting. We was welcomed by Jasmitha & she explains well for my check in by her nice smile. We admire the sleek interior of the room & take note of the standing shower bath. Enjoyed Nespresso coffee & the Long pool to swim to relax! Their in house dining is chio & cozy! Hotel don’t hav direct public transport, only Fort Canning mrt station needs 20mins walk towards.

It was indeed a 5 star hotel stay that did not disappoint , chose this hotel stay last min to celebrate anniversary and belated vday with my bf and the price was really affordable . Happy that they allowed us to check in early when we emailed n called them the day morning , reached and was promptly led to our room . The lobby deco and vibes alr has a 5 star feel . However the corridors not as much and grand but the room was cozy , comfy and decent size , was not bad considering we only pay $161 for a night stay What made me impressed was they came up late afternoon to surprise us with a small cake for our anniversary and even wish us happy anniversary,appreciate little effort n gestures this hotel staff made when some hotels don’t even bother to do anyth when u inform them u celebrating anniversaries . Bed was super comfy where we spent lots of time resting up and napping haha and there was a proper study desk lambs etc for me to get my work done on the laptop and phones with the pens and paper they provided . When we request anyth like spare bowls plates and more water , it was promptly sent up and facilities are ok except pool being small and sad so I didn’t use the pool . Gym is not bad and there’s a nice executive lounge that serves drinks at the 29th floor where we relax and read while enjoying the view for awhile . when we discover small flies in our toilet we were horrified but called to inform and they even offer genuine apology and upgraded our room to a deluxe suite . We enjoy the new deluxe room way more which was bigger with sofa and bathtub, all in all I enjoyed the stay very much , service is remarkable, friendly and warm and everyone was apologetic about the flies in bathroom . Location is ok near central so it’s consider convenient since there’s great world city nearby where u can buy stuff from cold storage or watch movie or travel further to town . Didn’t get to try any of the food this time but from my past experience the restaurant buffets

I booked this app 4 months before travelling, so was disappointed when I arrived and found I had a small room with a very large concrete pillar right next to the bed, which prevented me getting into the bed from that side. When I complained, I was told this was the last room and there were no others available, despite Agoda still showing availability on the site. The receptionist on duty promised to move me the next day, but when I queried this at breakfast, she was doubtful. I then spoke to the manager, who immediately moved me into one of their Loft suites, which was fine. Apart from that, the hotel was in a good position, close to MRT and buses and also walking distance to Chinatown. Hotels in Singapore are very expensive and had this been elsewhere, it would possibly be a 3 star, but it had everything I needed and was well priced compared to other 4, or even 3 stars. Breakfast was fine - I was sceptical after reading other comments, but there were eggs, ham, sausages, cereal, toast, croissants, Danish, cheese and fruit, plus a hot noodle dish. Tea and coffee were also available all day. There was an attendant who diligently washed up and cleared tables, so although not 'gourmet', it was a good start to the day. And I was impressed that not only was there luggage storage for late flights but also a shower available, which was most welcome. All in all, a clean and comfortable hotel, with amiable staff and good amenities.

We had a wonderful stay in Singapore. It is a lovely city. The hotel is located on the Singapore River and the bus line is in the front of the building for easy access. The staff was very helpful. Prices in Singapore are a bit high so we went to a mall nearby (Great World Market) and ate (there are many restaurants including a McDonalds and Starbucks) and bought youghurt and pastries at the market in the basement. We also went across the river and tried some restaurants and bars.

First of all, the two concierge on shift (who exchange shift from 8am-8pm? not sure) were very accommodating with our requests right from the start. They are both friendly and thoughtful. Second, our rooms were just right for the two of us. It was not cramped just as some have described and the bed accommodated both of us nicely. The toilet and toilet area was spacious and clean!!! They also provided at least 6 hangers for our clothes. Water and coffee were provided everyday. The rooms were cleaned everyday. The staff were also very honest! One day my partner left his wallet on the bed when we went out. We arrived at night and found out the whole room was cleaned. The wallet was still in the bed and nothing was taken. Thankful of this hotel and we deffinitely recommend this to everyone. Looking forward to staying here again for our next trip in Singapore! 🌻

I was glad to stay here. Though i read a few not-so-good comments about the breakfast that made me doubt to book, but surprisingly the breakfast met my expectation. For the taste, it's just the same with a 4-star hotel i previously stayed in Singapore, with quite a variety, starts from cereal, salad, carbo such as fried rice, potato, sausage & ham, chicken wings, bread & pastry, juice, tea & coffee. They changed the main course every day. The room was really small but it didn't matter for us as we mostly spent our time outside. Great thing is they provide complete amenity kits, slippers, big towel, small towel, hand towel, swimming towel, all in good quality!! They manage to make the room as comfortable as possible though the room is really tiny. Location is top notch, only 5 mins walking distance to Clarke Quay MRT.

Small but very compact if the intent is just for having a rest after a tour. Warm / Hot shower is always available. Very accessible location, near to Clarke Quay station (exit A and CQ central). Chinatown is a walking distance. Also with riverside and Merlion. Did a morning stroll going to Merlion via Riverside. The room is being cleaned everyday. They changed pillows and comforters. Replenish coffee, tea and new bottled water daily.Wifi is very good.Staff are also very helpful. They have also adapters for free but you need to return during check-out. Cons: Not so sound proof. I can hear sounds outside my room (bearable). I hope they have dim light for people who can't sleep with very bright/dark room.More pillows(but have not tried to request for one, not sure if they will provide extra. Aircon is fine but I dont like the sudden blowing of wind the sound annoys me. Outside the premise is quite dim for me I expect Singapore streets to be well lit. Given a chance I will book on this hotel again.

It was my luck when I was browsing through Agoda and found this new hotel in Singapore. It was the F1 that weekend and room rates went up by 300%! The rate for this hotel followed the increase due to the event, but was quite reasonable when compared to other 4 star hotels. This hotel opened up just 2 days before my stay, so everything was new as it could be. The room was spacious compared to many 4 stars in Singapore. The bed was very comfy, and I liked the bathroom. It had a shower door. The room contained many amenities which were unexpected. Well done! It has a safety box and a mini fridge. The best thing of all is that it provided slippers too! Staff were extremely friendly! A very well done to you all. The only disadvantage is the noise level created by the cars on the roads. I was on the 8th floor and I can hear cars at night so if you can't sleep with sound better plug in something in your ears! The hotel is situated in the residential area near Chinatown and Clarke Quay. Didn't try breakfast there so just walked outside to a local food court for cheap food. Overall I was very satisfied with my stay and yes I will be back!

We booked a king bedroom through Agoda, but were only given a Queen bed. When we brought it up, they told us they were booked up with rooms and couldn't give us a room with a King bed, nor could they refund any money. Despite this, the bed itself was comfortable and the air-conditioning in the room we were in was fantastic which meant we had a great night's sleep. Our friends (who had a triple room booked) had a room that had not been renovated and the air-conditioning unit was poor. Its definitely worth checking to see if your room has been refurbished - as I don't think I'd pay this price if I had one of the un-renovated rooms. The lobby itself is beautiful and we were very much blown away by this on the entry. The lifts are fast and as they are glass we could oversee breakfast in the morning and were a little jealous we didn't book to try it!!! Overall - The hotel was lovely. The rooms are small - but cosy - fine for a few nights stay. The pool is nothing too exciting - however it had amazing views and helped to cool us down. Also - there was almost no-one in there! Which was nice... The hotel itself is not right in the heart of town, but it was only a short walk to things or taxis were fairly cheap. Overall - I would recommend this hotel - just make sure you check about the renovated rooms!

Instead of staying at the Fullerton Hotel - 5 star - as arranged by the Firm which is too costly, I chose to stay at the Quay Hotel. It’s the very right decision: - Supportive staff - Clean - Full of amenities - Strong wifi, water supply, aircon - Room is not spacious but very cozy with huge window - Central location: 300m to the Raffles Place rmt, the river, McDonald, China Town, 100-200m to the bars and 711 convenient store is right next to the hotel Because I am used to natural rubber mattress so I find the hotel mattress a little too soft for me, guess it’s just my personal preference.

This hotel is perfectly located: MRT station and public transportation are less than 2 minutes walking. River tours, restaurants, malls, bars, stores are all around. The area is beautiful and very easy to hang around no matter what you are looking for. The best of the hotel is its friendly and helpful staff: they will help you out all the time and will let you feel as family. The buffet breakfast included was really good, fresh and carefully organized. The facilities are maintained clean and the attendants are very nice. The rooms are designed to rest and they have all that you need to do it in a comfortable way. The price is pretty fair and I would say: a smart traveler will definitely stay again.

The location is amazing and it is located about 5 minutes walk from Clarke Quay MRT. There is 7/11 nearby and some coffee shops around. You can also walk to City Hall area and CDB areas quite easily. Staffs are fantastic. The room is around 10 Sq.m. so it's pretty much for sleeping. Business traveling or solo traveler are highly recommend. It is not a place for you to stay in the hotel and relax. I wouldn't mind staying there again ;)

Superb hotel and loved the overall theme. The best thing is the location. This is at Outram park, just 2 mins walking distance via a shortcut. What's more the hotel has a van (Shuttle) everyday which goes to the MRT station every 20 mins! Now how cool is that! Just in case if you miss it, there's the shortcut from the MRT to the hotel which takes 2 mins to walk too! Can't say enough about a perfect location. 2 stations away from Harbor Front so if you want to goto Senthosa, this is the BEST place. Clarke Quey - for clubbers - is just next door too. Breakfast is awesome, tons of variety and yummy. Nice rock and roll themed hotel, signs on the road to locate the hotel everywhere (Hotel Re this way, hotel Re that way yada yada), fresh fragrance all over the hotel lobby. The only minor issue was the interenet wasn't that good (slow, and getting disconnected sometimes) and there were no TV channels - you can get CDs from the frontdesk for free and watch those movies. Horrible quality TV/CDs (CDs at this age?) tho. But that won't stop me from giving the hotel 10/10 as the room is spacious having everything like even an iron with a board, water bottles, nice staff, location - with their spacious garden unlike a single building hotel. And only one route to the Changi airport too - so no need to change trains. Just sit and go straight to Tannah Merah+ Changi. Would come again for sure and thank you so much. In overall it was good. The hotel is small - I don't think it is a 4 star hotel (no 4 star facilities). Yet it is a nice hotel with good location (near to Clark Quay). The room is just nice and clean (neat). Comfy enough for 2 adults and 1 kid. The breakfast is just nice to eat, nothing special. Yet I think so far it is the best small boutique hotel that I have ever stay... Thanks Clover..

Its about 3 things that made it the best choice: Property, staff & the price Property location was fantastic to find everything nearby...The guys who designed each room did lot of work to understand a traveller requirements to the minute details...it was amazing to stay here...it made me very comfortable. The guys who are running this ...particularly Cherry & Rodan who guided me from day 1 till the time I checked out and the housekeeping by Kusriah & Nuri was fantastic! They were very helpful and friendly to understand the needs of the guest. The pricing was damn reasonable for a place like this! You cannot get a better deal than this! Thanks Heritage...you made travelers life simple! Thanks to Agoda to list such wonderful properties....you deserve a *****5 Star!!!
