we don't play golf but we wanted a quick break so we stayed in another part of bangkok. we stayed in a 2 bedroom suite which was really nice and spacious and had a nice view of the wide golf course. the furnitures are modern and new, and the suites itself were well maintained. the breakfast selection was adequate. however, the pool is very small (looks like a kiddie pool) so we didn't use it. note that this hotel is situated in bang-na, the area near the suvarnabhumi airport and far from the main attractions in bangkok. but if you are looking for a place that is near the airport (and ikea!), this is a very good choice.

Outstanding comfort and convenience. I could not recommend this hotel more highly. Every detail to ensure comfort is provided, from the spacious rooms, wonderfully comfortable beds, pool and beautifully vegetated pool deck, fitness facilities with a wide variety of well-functioning equipment, steam and dry saunas, Thai massage (extra charge), outstanding menu and restaurant, frequent shuttles to flights, knowledgeable and helpful staff, etc., etc. It is even quiet, although less than 5 minutes from the airport. This is without a doubt the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Coming from the US, I assumed the hotel would be like US airport hotels I have stayed in, a convenient place to crash and to grimly tolerate. The Novotel Suvarnabhumi Airport Hotel was so much more than that. Bangkok was a connecting airport for flight to Bhutan. We stayed on our way to Bhutan and couldn’t wait to come back to treat ourselves to a Thai massage, which I recommend highly. This hotel makes it possible to quickly recover from an unendurable, wretchedly uncomfortable, and sleepless flight.

This is an incredible value for those needing to stay near Suvarnabhumi Airport. Airport pick up is well organized and via a comfortable van. I arrived close to midnight with about 5 other individual guests on the van yet the front desk staff was able to check in all 6 of us in parallel so there was no waiting. Very impressive. Return shuttle service leaves the hotel every 30 minutes and is a similarly pleasant experience. Breakfast is served in the open air restaurant, either American or Chinese style. It's a hot fresh meal served by courteous waitresses. The American breakfast consists of a fried egg, ham, toast, juice and coffee - very nice indeed. The rooms are comfortable with air conditioning, satellite TV, DVD player, mini-bar (inexpensive) and many other amenities. And the rooms are clean, super clean. I don't think I have ever stayed at a cleaner hotel than Thong Ta. The floors are constantly being washed and there's not a trace of mold or mildew anywhere, not even in the shower. With the round trip airport transportation, breakfast, free wi-fi, nice staff and clean modern rooms, you simply can't beat the value here. Only caution is that there are no elevators. Staff carries your luggage but you will have to walk the stairs to get to your room unless it's on the ground floor.

I stayed at Best Western Amaranth Suvarnabhumi Airport Hotel as a overnight stopover between Koh Samui and departure from bangkok to Australia. The hotel was excellent. I made sure to contact them 24 hrs beforehand and had a seat booked on the Shuttle bus (23.30)from the airport to the hotel after landing at 23.05 Checked in at approximately midnight and the staff were excellent: no fuss, highly efficient, made booking on shuttle bus to go back to airport at 14.00 next day and had use of room until book out time. Excellent! The room was brilliant: Comfortable, clean, chic - I was in heaven. Breakfast buffet next morning was great value and delicious. Restaurant staff were outstanding - nothing was a trouble. I would highly recommend a stopover stay a Best Western Amaranth Suvarnabhumi Airport Hotel.

Louis' Tavern Transit Hotel Dayrooms at Suvarnabhumi Airport provide transit travelers with affordable accommodation. Travelers do not need to approach and leave the Thai Immigration if one is on transit at Suvarnabhumi Airport to another international city, not a Thai city. In contrast with The Haven of Changi Airport Terminal 3, each dayroom at this transit hotel is bigger and cozier than The Haven. Maximum 6 hours stay cost around 180 Singapore Dollars but the roomier space, shower facility, toilet in the room, complimentary tea pack, complimentary body lotion, complimentary toiletries in the room, sleepwear for room use and a huge range of complimentary breakfast at the hotel coffee shop justify the accommodation cost. It is better to stay here than taking risks to clear the Thai Immigration if one does not have 20000 Thai Baht in cash to prove to the Thai Immigration officers adequate finance while staying or transit in Bangkok for one night since the cash policy is now an enforced requirement on all tourists holding entry visa or no entry visa that intend to stay in Thailand. I stayed here after arriving from Narita on transit to Singapore. I will stay here next time if ever on transit in Suvarnabhumi to another international city also because it is not a noisy hotel. The staff are friendly and are able to speak in English to transit travelers. Refundable room-key deposit is between 250 to 500 Thai Baht. Check with the staff on the day of transit arrival.

Our stay at The Cottage Suvarnabhumi Hotel was rather short, but indeed memorable to say the least. We arrived at the Suvarnabhumi Airport at almost 2 in the morning, and even if our hotel pickup was scheduled at 11:30 in the evening the previous day, someone from the hotel was able to pick us up at Gate 4. He was very courteous, helpful even with the exception of the language barrier. We had to move to a new room to accommodate my party of 3 the following day (I travelled with 2 friends), and the room that we had then was very spacious. The bathroom was okay, though I think the corners of the shower need some extra brushing, but nevertheless the towels, the complimentary shampoo and body soap were all superb. There were complimentary water too which came in handy during our sightseeing at the city. Our room had the view of the swimming pool too, and it was a lovely sight to wake up to for the 3 days we stayed. Overall, the staff was very nice. Whenever we call the front desk for help (to call a taxi for us or to pick our luggages on our last day), we only waited a few minutes before someone's knocking on our door for the assistance we need. The Cottage is quite far away from the city, but still commutable since it is near the airport, where the train station is situated. Instead of taking the taxi to go to different places in Bangkok, what we did was to get a cab to bring us to the airport (10 minutes away and even less from The Cottage), and from the airport, we boarded the train link to the city. The rates at The Cottage were rather cheap, but the quality isn't.

At Residence is perfectly located near Suvarnabhumi airport for a warm welcome straight from the plane. The property is wonderfully decorated throughout and was so comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The high point of this restaurant has to be the restaurant attached however. Again - really lovely decor and atmosphere and dinner breakfast were both delicious.

It was quite comfortable. Usually I stay this hotel for transit purpose because it is very easy to access to the airport. Hotel sells the room with round trip airport transportation. In this case, I can find a crew at the Gate 3 at the 2nd floor as I arrived. This is the merit of this hotel. Only 5-7 min from airport to the hotel. There are many local restaurants and pubs near the entrance of this hotel. Wi Fi also very fast and free. So far, I couldn't find any other hotel like this near Suvarnabhumi airport by Agoda.

I had a comfortable stay. The Golden Jade will be the Suvarnabhumi airport I will stay at for my early flight. The one down side is the confusion and long wait at exit door 4 to have a airport pickup. Unlike other Suvarnabhumi airport hotels where airport pickup is free, the pick up is not free but cost 150 baht each way. Since one is paying for the pickup it should be more frequent that once every hour. Waiting an hour after a long flight to get to the hotel is not good. This is the only thing that may detour me from staying at the Golden Jade Hotel again. Their pickup van should be every half hour. Since one is paying for the pickup.

There is an abundance of very cheap hotels around Suvarnabhumi Airport. $20 will get you a serviceable overnight bed with a cold water washbasin and a warm shower, but probably no shower curtain, so a totally wet bathroom. Golden Suites, at about $40, plus $3 for airport shuttle is a class apart! Hot shower, clean white towels, a fridge and kettle with coffee or tea. On site restaurant with great food and a pool. Aircraft noise, but at 10 minutes from the terminal, B/150 by meter taxi, what can you expect. Definitely a score if you want a great overnight or even a day or two to unwind, get over jet lag before morevtravelling etc..

usually it's a place where you stay if you're only making a quick stop in bangkok. We used it as our hotel to start the holiday. If you walk around suvarnabhumi airport near gate 4 for long enough someone will spot you and call them up to come pick you up from the airport in around 15 minutes time in a mini van. a nice one at that. man behind the desk doesn't speak loads of english but enough and is nice and smiley. we got upgraded so had 2 floors to our room. clean nice bathroom! good beds! there's a 7-11 (small supermarket) just down the road if you want some snacks.

So many flights arrive at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok late at night or in the middle of the morning. Those of us from the U.S arrive very jet-lagged and already exhausted from travel. The last thing one needs is to travel again, this time the 35 minute to 60+ minute grueling Taxi ride to the central area of Bangkok just to get our hotel and rest. There are 13 million cars in Bangkok and it seems one encounters each of them on the ride from the airport to the hotel. Spare yourself the pain. Get a nice, very inexpensive hotel right next to the airport, sleep the night through, then travel to the city. The Sinsuvarn Airport Suite hotel is comfortable, has a good restaurant and a very nice, large swimming pool. It's about 6 minutes from the airport and the hotel provides a FREE SHUTTLE TO AND FROM THE AIRPORT. I would take the shuttle, sleep, get the shuttle back and take the BTS Skytrain to Bangkok. At around $35 a night, this hotel is itself almost a non-expense. Daniel C.

Ideal for the night before or the night after a flight to/from Suvarnabhumi airport. About 10-15 minutes to the terminal with moderate traffic. Very comfortable room, brand new hotel, spotlessly clean, attentive staff. Breakfast costs 350 baht + service and tax per head if not included in your rate. For dinner, I can recommend the local Vietnamese restaurant - turn left into the main road and it's less than 50m, same side as the hotel. Only signed in Thai, but can be identified from the Vietnamese hats on the fence. Good food, good service, cheap.

We choose this hotel as it is very close to Suvarnabhumi Airport. The airport pick up is free of charge. There is a shuttle van at airport gate. There are 2 buildings. We were taken to the low-rise one (formerly Miracle Hometel). The hotel decoration is modern. The staff at check-in was friendly, caring, and thoughtful to ask about our next flight. What impresses us the most is the size of the room. The bed is comfy, and has good smell. We had a good and restful sleep. Wireless internet is available with no charge. The breakfast dining area is large. We are provided 2 bottles of complimentary drinking water. The amount of water is not enough for 2 persons as the bottles are too small. We will come back again next time. If you look for a nice hotel near Suvarnabhumi airport, do not miss Miracle Suvarnabhumi.

Past reviews nail this place down - clean, comfortable, excellent service, close to Suvarnabhumi airport. All fridge items are free (including a couple beers). Front desk arranged an in room massage without issue. Dining options are limited, with street vendors on the main street, nearby 7-11. Not sure if there are any restaurants, but a couple nearby hotels seemed to have them, so not sure if those are options. Pickup and drop off were swift (they can do at both airport or nearby express train station lat krabang, the name of the surrounding village).

very local area. not very soundproof, but fairly quiet considering it's only a 10-min drive to the airport. Once you arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport, go to Gate 4. Inside, there is a small red on white sign of the hotel on the railing near the door. You can ask the airport staff in that area and they'll call the hotel, who should pick you up in about 20 minutes. There wasn't an elevator, the shower wasn't quite hot, and the pillows are too high for my liking, but other than that, it's a cheap place to crash before your next flight out. The detached restaurant next to it had decent food (100-150 baht per dish, not cheap but acceptable). Shuttle to the airport leaves every hour at half past all throughout the day

I travel to Thailand regularly and seek a convenient stopover near Suvarnabhumi Airport. before forward traveling the next day. The Residence is only 10 minutes by cab from airport. I find Panini Residence to be clean, a great price, basic but with all the required facilities within or nearby. It is quiet with many restaurants, shops and other facilities within 1 - 5 minutes walk. I have stayed here several times and would highly recommend this accommodation to any other budget minded travelers.

One of the cheapest hotel in Bangkok, I arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport 12:15am and called the hotel staff for service pick up it takes only around 5 minutes and the shuttle service arrive to pick me up. The room was clean and spacious, all facilities are functioning properly,with free laptop used, internet connections are very fast, free shuttle going to MRT stations. Staff are very good speaking in English and friendly especially to Ampika and Prapawan who are always willing to anaswer all my inquiries. Mura na dito kabayan lapit sa airport pg madali araw flight nyo, mababait staff, malinis ang room, libre internet with laptop, pwede pahatid MRT station libre, ingat lang sa pag sakay sa taxi na walang metro. We have been using this hotel for Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) airport stopovers for several years. The location is perfect - some ten minutes from the airport by hotel bus - nice clean rooms and a good breakfast. The location is unique, down a narrow lane and there it is, set back from the road with a nice garden (some artificial flowers, but they blend in well!!) and a small swimming pool. Next door is a large market, with a great food area for your evening meal.

Ideal location for those catching an early flight from Suvarnabhumi Airport. Only 10-15 mins away & they do have in house scheduled transport to the airport for THB150 each way. Booking & checking in were efficient. Staff speaks English. 5 mins walk to a convenient store & food stalls round the corner for those who arrive late & wants a quick bite. All basic amenities available including toiletries. Towels looked like they need a change but they are clean so no big issue. Reasonably clean, bed was comfortable. Drinking water available in room. Overall, convenient & comfortable stopover hotel near Suvarnabhumi Airport with all basic needs..

This is a really nice place to start or finish your travel. It's very close to the Suvarnabhumi AirPort. I stayed at a bungalow at the pool. They put a lot of effort in to the garden what gives you directly the tropical style of Thailand. At the restaurant you can eat well and you can book a massage at the reception. Close to the AirPort is a plus but ofcourse also a lot of sound (during the night) from the airplanes.

Great location for transfers to/from Suvarnabhumi airport, with convenient shuttle service (10-15 minutes). Superb staff, hospitality is so far unmatched in Thailand. Pricing is not very low compared to some other "hotel airports" but worth every Baht. We arrived pretty late and could still have dinner. The dinner itself was okay, breakfast is also okay for Thai standards but for Western standards a little scarce choice. We didn't care about that although there are no other restaurants near the hotel. Rooms are very spacious and as airline staff who stays in hotels almost half of the nights per year i can say that this hotel must be the cleanest in the world. They also have a garden and a very nice pool, so the hotel is also a good choice if you want to explore bangkok for just a few days. Taxi to center is between 30-50 minutes as long as you don't travel during rush hour and approximately 130-180 Baht.

I were there with my friends for 04 nights from 29th to 03th July. The Hotel is located at Lad Krabang around 20km away from the Bangkok City while only 03km to Suvarnabhumi Airport. Hotel staff is really friendly. Hotel has no elevator and hotel staff help to take stuff to rooms.Hotel has good variety of meals every time and charges are really cheap. Hotel provides free shuttle service to Lad krabang Railway Link Station starting from 2pm and other time they charge only 80 Baht. Hotel rooms are pretty nice and hotel will provide additional facilities at additional coast. Late departures are also accepted at additional coast. It doesn't matter to go Bangkok city coz railway link has sky trains every 10 minutes. There is no restaurants around the hotel and surrounded by only several small houses and river with bad smell. Considering the all, it's really worth of money.

You get what you pay for when it comes to the rooms. They're clean, no-frills, with decent shower and bed to help you feel more or less human again after a long flight. The food and drinks available are marked-up for the sake of convenience, but if you're willing to leg it to the beginning of the soi there's a Tesco Express and a 7-Eleven for your late-night drinking pleasure. The staffs are helpful for morning calls and booking a taxi for you. Keep in mind that the area is hard to hail for taxis on your own so a guaranteed taxi for a slightly higher price (150 THB to Suvarnabhumi Airport) is not such a bad deal. The breakfast is also fairly decent for the price. All in all a good place for a long overnight transit flight.

Had an short stay at Bkk and used this hotel near Suvarnabhumi airport. Hotel rate including Airport transfers, breakfast was very convenient. Staff was courteous and extended help in all possible ways. Since my flight outgoing was later; i used extra time for check-out and was charged at 100THB per hour basis; which was really not so expensive compared to aimlessly moving around at Bkk Airport... ! Really enjoyed the stay and do recommend it to other travellers too

Length of stay: Dec 24th – 25th, 2012. Size of room and cleanness: Appropriate size room and excellent cleanness. Swimming pool: We didn’t explore the swimming pool. Breakfast: Combine between American breakfast and Thai food. It was tasty and fresh. Facilities: Everything is good and new. Strength (selling point): This hotel near Suvarnabhumi airport it’s convenient for people who would like to stay in the good condition hotel near the airport and they also provide for shuttle service to Suvarnabhumi airport. You can also book through Agoda for including shuttle service. The bed was so comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and good condition. The staff spoke excellent English with American accent (receptionist). Weakness: It’s not appropriate for traveler who would like to stay close to downtown city within walking distance to Department store or sky train (BTS) or subway (MRT) in Bangkok because this hotel located at suburb of Bangkok but if you wish to travel to downtown of Bangkok, the easiest way is take a taxi from the hotel to airport link at “Lad-kra-bang station” then get off at “Pha-ya-thai station” then you can move around the downtown of Bangkok. This hotel have fifth floors and they don't have elevator so, you need to walk up - down stairs and their stairs quite narrow.
