When I arrived in the hotel, the airbus 1960 dropped me in the right in front of the hotel. It was very convenient. workers were very kind to let me know where to registrate. the reception asked me first whether I want to check out late so they allow me to stay hotel until 2 pm. the breakfast was fantastic. the space is very spacious and kinds of menus were amazing including chinese, american, japanese, koreand and fancy bakeries. there was a coffee machine so I can use it as much as I want. the swimming pool was outside, there was no one using it so I use it alone in the morning around 10 am. the location is right near to taipei 101 and 101 station. this locations is a little far from those tourist places but it is good to have lunch or dinner in taipei 101 building

Amazingly well furnished, I like the every bit in the room, the wood the leather chair the bed and the view of Taipei 101 tower! Staff at front desk excelled my expectation! I was asking to borrow a powerbank but they were all gone. The lady at front desk even offered to lend her to me!! Only thing need to improve is that how the staff response when you get into problem. I was asking them for some improvement but the staff did not address my question... Still I would recommend this hotel to everyone!

I've been staying at W Taipei for twice and this is the 3rd time I stayed there for my Taipei trip. I am a big fan of W Hotels thus always put W on my priority list when I travel different cities around the world. The W Taipei, as what you can expect for all W Hotels in the world, is more like a Night Club rather a hotel. It locates at the most happening place of Taipei City - the Xin Yi District which full of restaurants, shopping malls, and night clubs. You can walk to the landmark Taipei 101 Tower within 15 min and some of the guest rooms are facing to the 101 Tower with a very nice city view. There is a popular night club Woo Bar at the hotel lobby level which is quite a happening place in Taipei, thus you may see lots trendy people in the evening for clubbing and even in the day time for afternoon tea. As you may expect, therefore, it is quite noisy in the evening. Some of the rooms with the Pool view could be quite noisy since the outdoor club is beside the pool. I actually had an experience before that it was quite noisy even in the guest room on high level floor until mid night, thus you may not be able to have a good rest in the room. If you are not staying at W Taipei for experiencing the night life, I would recommend not to select the poolside rooms to avoid the noise. The hotel breakfast is relatively expensive and I encourage travelers to explore the neighborhood area for the dinning places. Anyway Taipei is a city that full of place to eat and there are quite a lot nice and value-for-money dinning places. But W Taipei is still a place you would like to stay if you prefer trendy and modern style of life.

My first time in Taiwan in a long long while, and my friend who sponsored the trip booked the hotel. Knowing him to be frugal, I thought he had booked us into a pension house, so I was grumbling all the way to Taipei. I was pleasantly surprised. It was a grand hotel, after all. The room was fantastic: great bed and beddings, hi-tech amenities (power curtain, power sunshade and centralized room controls) and a top-of-th-line bidet that not only cleans, dries and deodorizes, but has certain settings that pleasantly tickles your butthole, making you linger more than usual on the toilet bowl. The location is primo, walking distance to shops for top international brands as well as Taipei 101. Staff is very friendly, solicitous even, and elevator has security features. Great city view from the window, and buffet breakfast is above par. I give it a two thumbs up. YEAH BA!!

Location - great. In between two MRT stations, and bus station, walling distance to Taipei 101 and Exhibition center. Staff - friendly and accommodating. Breakfast spread - good variety. Room - The first room they had booked us stank of cigarette smoke. We had booked a non smoking room, but the first room stank of cigarette smoke. That was on 17th floor. The carpet on corridor was stained and dirty, the room though stank of cigarette smoke, was large and clean had a good view and able to open window to balcony. After immediate feedback, the staff apologized and moved us to a newly renovated room on 12th floor. The new room was clean, with no stains etc. But the window to the balcony was locked for safety .This was because it lead to the roof top of the 12th floor, that is shared with several offices. The sink, shower and toilet were not located in a closed off bathroom, like most smaller hotels in taipei. There are doors of course. So privacy is compromised a little. The laundry room was adequate

Our 5 nights stay at the Amba SongShan was great. The hotel is contemporary design, clean and bright. Staff are friendly and super helpful. The twin room with Taipei 101 view is spacious. We took the airport shuttle bus to the Taipei Main Station and then transferred one stop to SongShan station by the TRA. Exit 4A, across the road is the hotel. Super convenient! No need to drag luggage to search for the hotel. Wufenpu shopping and the Raohe market are all within 5 mins walk. Opposite the hotel is CityLink mall where there is Macdonalds, 711, Sushi Express and numerous restaurants and bakeries. The hotel has half/hourly free shuttle to Taipei 101 and complimentary use of the washing machine (detergent and softener included), dryer and iron. The hotel lobby located on the 17th floor offers scenic views of the entire city and has a futsal machine and a mini play room for kids. No regrets booking the Amba SongShan.

We were in Taipei for one night. It is centrally located in Xinyi District's shopping area and close by Taipei 101 and other international hotels. The rooms are clean, comfortable and equipped with brand-new amenities. A piece of information for new mothers who would like to pump and keep breast milk during their stay, the hotel handles the storage and freezing of expressed breast milk really well.

Location not perfect, but close enough. 10 minutes walk to Xinyi shopping district and Taipei 101 or 1 subway stop. Initial image not good as hotel lobby looks like a lounge (very dark). Once we moved on to the restaurant area it felt better. Check in quick & efficient. Becuase we checked in on Friday they gave us coupon for late night snacks buffet and next day's breakfast. Late night snack actually can become a full meal starting 9:30pm. Good 4 star amenities in the common area. Computers for your use, tea, coffee and surprise creme caramel and fruits 24hours a day. Room very business hotel like. Generous size but we booked cheap one with no windows, not that this is bad since I like a dark room for sleeping. Large jacuzzi with soothing lights and even a TV. Clean rooms. Marbled bathroom floors can be slippery when wet but look expensive. Wireless available in room. Breakfast adequate. Good business hotel.

They really went out of their way to provide you with everything you needed and more. There was a shampoo and soap dispenser. The buffet breakfast was a plus since we were on a tight budget. Rooms were clean and just had enough space for 2 adults and 1 kid. The location is good if you want to see Taipei 101 and the business area (Xinji) but very far from the other city attractions. But it is very near to a train station so you would have no problem getting to the other places if you don’t mind the commute. No cheap places to eat in the area though so you had to shell out the big money to eat at restaurants. The plus side, the area was really quiet and safe.

Located in the business district of Xinyi Sec 4, the hotel is just a three minutes walk from the MRT Line (Taipei 101 station, red line). Great view of Taipei 101 from the hotel room. It is wonderful going to sleep and waking up to the view of the iconic building. Love the modern decor of the room and the staff at the reception speaks English too. Hotel was very kind to allocate me the room with the view of Taipei 101. Only grouse was that the buffet spread was rather limited and available until 9.30 am. Comfortable waiting area where guests can relax over complimentary coffee/tea while waiting for check-in or before departure. Great boutique hotel in the city with a difference ! An experience not to be missed !

Sparkle Hotel is a hidden (a bit literal) gem. It is just across Taipei 101 but if you are not familiar with it, you will most likely miss it. From the street level, you'd think the building is a residential complex but once you cross the road, you will see the small sign for Sparkle 101 Hotel. If you are taking the airport shuttle bus to the city, the hotel is within walking distance from the Grand Hyatt drop off. Once you reach the hotel, there is a small elevator that you can use to get to the lobby (good for those with heavy luggage or having difficulties walking/with stairs). The staff is very courteous and willing to help and can converse well in English. The hotel is fairly quiet. The room is very clean with decent amenities and comfortable bedding. Breakfast is included but is outside (BLVD, which is one floor up) the hotel. We were given breakfast vouchers with a choice of 4 set meals (coffee/tea is included). It is also very close to Exit 3 of the Taipei 101 metro station.

I asked for a high floor, and was given the top floor (12th) with a lovely spot-on view of Taipei 101. The staff were unfailingly polite, informal and very nice! The "homey" atmosphere is evident from the way people treated you, from showing you to the lift, to helping you with luggage, and even coming by your room to show you items for sale. Speaking about "items for sale", the hotel has lots of Taiwanese-made artifacts you can purchase, to remember your stay at the hotel (from blue-toned placemats, to cups, soap trays). What I also like are the little touches -- well designed coasters bearing the hotel name, eco-friendly shampoos and toiletries, the lovely wooden and stone walls in the room, the mood lighting throughout (dim and cosy; dark/black lampshades in many cases, quite 'untypical' of Chinese hotels!). All in all, a memorable stay in a cosy, boutique-like hotel, right smack near Taipei 101 (about 5-7 minute stroll).

Absolutely enjoyed our stay! Lean staff but great location in Xinyi Shopping District, newr Taipei 101 and all the fancy malls like Breeze and Mitsukoshi. Around the hotel are small street food stalls and wonderful Asian restaurants that wont break the bank. We were given the room good for 3 people, what an awesome space, Thats Room 407, btw. We cant wait to return to Taipei and stay here again!

I had stayed 2nights in this hotel with my Boyfriend and two other friends. As the Soulik Typhoon had entered Taiwan, we had no choice but to stay in the hotel. The hotel staff was very friendly and he directed us the ways to Taipei 101 and Raohe Night Market, which was very near to the Hotel. The famous Formosa Chang is also within walking distance from the hotel. The hotel room was clean, and it comes with a bathtub. We had booked a Room with a window, as i know that they do have rooms without windows. The bed was very comfortable, and WuFenPu is just located behind the hotel, which makes shopping much easier. There is also a Family Mart located just beside the hotel, and you can stock up your cup noodles and drinks easily. Overall, our stay was very pleasant and I would definitely choose this hotel for my next trip again :)

Best location nearby Taipei 101 tower 5 mins walk. MRT very close, nearby has a lot of food.most of place to eat only open around 11am but a lot of 24hrs convenience store just 5m away. Friendly receptionist. Stayed at room 701, spacious family room 2 double bed with young children facing Taipei 101 at night. Didnt expect jacuzzi (children were super excited) in the big bathroom along with shower n other toiletries provided.
