"It is just 1 minute walk from the JR station. If your plan is to take lots of trains, this hotel is the only best option. It is though far from the city center, you have to take 30 mins tram to the onsen and 15 mins to the castle. If your plan is to explore inside the city, it is better to stay in town. If your plan is to explore other nearby city by JR, this hotel is the best. Room is clean, staff is helpful, value for money anyway."

"Very consistent, APA chain of hotels usually don't give any surprises. The room was very clean with a bunch of amenities, Yukata, slippers, toiletries etc....but also tiny, which is the norm, in Japan. If you book in advance, you can get good deals. Unfortunately my airbnb host was a female crook, so I had to leave the apartment and book with APA at the last minute. It was expensive, but they saved my life as it is very hard to find last minute accommodations, in Matsuyama. The only tiny down side is the location. It is accross from a beautiful park, but you will need to walk 15/20mn to/from Matsuyama JR station. But besides that, the staff was wonderful, very helpful and everything else was just perfect."

However, facilities and room a bit old , but acceptable, can find everything I needed in the room, just cannot reach any wifi in room... Recommend if likely to travel mainly by JR. "

"Not sure why this 'love hotel' is a third of the price of a business hotel yet gives you twice the space and many additional luxuries. Breakfast is free. Parking is free. Room's huge. Entertainment system (ok, we didn't actually test the free adult movies but the TV screen's huge and there's a jacuzzi; haven't tried the massage chair in the room either). Receptionist was not only extremely helpful but she spoke the best English of all hotel staff we've met so far (about 8 or so different hotels?). Definitely best value we've had so far. (Please note: if you book a 'book in after 9 PM room', that will mean exactly that; so only book that cheapest room if you really only arrive after 9 PM.) Most strongly recommended!"

"Preface: My friends and I had a car so reaching this place with our luggage was pretty easy. I can't comment on how it is by public transport. Just because this is a "love hotel" doesn't mean you have reason to avoid it. It's incredibly cheap, the bed is probably one of the biggest you'll get in Japan, and the VOD is free! The location is a bit far from town but it's not a long drive to a convenience store. No need for it though as this hotel has incredibly cheap and reasonable food/drink prices! A set meal is only ¥110! It is very filling and quite delicious. I would definitely stay here again."
