the hotel is strategically located beside takashimaya shopping centre and across the road from paragon thus it is very convenient. the hotel staff are nice and warm and friendly and helpfull too. the rooms are spacious, especially those in the old wing. there is a shopping arcade called mandarin gallery that is linked to the hotel and there are many nice shops there and good restaurants too on the top level. breakfast is comprehensive and wide variety, overall this is a great hotel.

Well, I don't expect much when I book this hotel but after staying for 3 nights my opinion was changed. The hotel located near many shopping centre. As I entered the hotel lobby, the lobby looks modern and futuristic. You can self check-in with computers on the lobby. However, I stayed during peak season so only one room available at that time and I have to wait 1 hour until the other rooms are cleaned. The lobby were so busy all the time especially during check out and check in time. After check in, i went to the room. The room is small but it is well designed, clean and comfortable. The bed is reclining bed so you can sit and watch tv. TV has many channels and HD clean. The breakfast were average. Mostly western food with egg station available. Free great coffee from coffee machine too! The staff were great and helpful too, they speak english very well, quite friendly and definitely helpful! After everything, I would highly recommend Yotel Singapore. It was great experience.

This time was our frequent stay at Concorde Hotel, but not at the appropriate time with hotel rate promotion, so we feel a little bit expensive staying at this hotel. Anyway we still happy because as usual just walking distance to Takashimaya Shopping Shop and numerous food choices at Somerset 313 Food Republic. We still recommend to everyone that Concorde Hotel is still our first priority to stay everytime we go to Singapore.

We've been loyal to the Royal Plaza for more than 20 years now and it still remains our favourite hotel in Singapore. This trip was no exception.The reservation officer (Sasha) was very professional yet warm and friendly at the same time. Check in was smooth and it was lovely to arrive in our comfortable airconditioned rooms after a ten hour flight from Saudi. We requested connecting rooms and were pleased to find that they were able to accomodate us. Breakfast was lovely - western and asian selection every day. Loved the noodle soup with the simple broth, tender strips of chicken, bok choy and scallions! Internet connection was available free of charge and there’s an expresso machine too replenished every day by the awesome housekeeping staff on the seventh floor. The best thing about the Royal Plaza is the location. There are shopping centres right next door to the hotel and even a cineplex - pedestrian underpasses are networked intricately in this busy location and allows you to pop into different shopping malls without ever having to venture into traffic.

Location was excellent, nearby the shopping centres in orchard road, around less than 5minutes walk. Quiet and charming hotel. Fast and easy check in and out process. Room service was fast. Staffs were polite and one of them had the initiative to ask if we are muslims and explain to us that the hotel has a non halal kitchen thus take note our special request when preparing our breakfast. Excellent attitude and helpful to assist us whenever we have doubts or needed help. Disavantages were the incomplete toiletries ie no toothbrush or comb or razor, and it would be better if our breakfast were served with food warmer as we did not eat our breakfast till much later and by then food was beginning to get cold. Other that that, the rest were excellent. Ps you haf to try their durian crepes, they were the best.

We stayed for 3 nights here. The location is very nice. Its 5mins walk from Dhoby Ghaut MRT station near Plaza Singapora. It has 7-11 shops available near by so u can get your break fast/snack anytime while on your way out or back to hotel. It has a neat swimming pool on roof top accessible by lift 1 only with an outstanding view of the vicinity. Recommend a panoramic photo from there. Hotel has two entrances, the other one opens towards the main Orchard Road, where you can find a number of malls like Orchard Point, Orchard Central, Ngee Ann city center, 313 Somerset, Apple Store. This road has multiple bus stops. Get yourself a 3-days Singapore Tourist Pass for unlimited trips to MRT & Public busses. Both have a/c so thats a relieve in 35C temp during the day. The hotel has a Tour Desk where as i suggest using Klook app to book at activities ranging from Universal Studio, Sentosa fun pass, Zoo, Night Safari, Gardens by the bay, bird sanctuary etc. This way you will not need to stand in ticket lines. Just book and show the online receipt to the gate keepers who will let you in :) do visit asian museum on Raffles stop, Fullerton road for Merlion. Good quality shopping is available at Bugis Junction (Bugis stop via MRT and exit towards Bugis Junction). Do not goto Little India, its very dirty and a mall there with the name of Al Mustafa Center (although cheap) but has terrible / poor quality products. You will be disappointed. Visit East Coast bay near Marina bays for a quite beach spot. Good for camping. On your way out to Airport, book a taxi via Grab Ap and it will cost you a max of $17 SGD till terminal 4 airport. Upon arrival, get a $15 SGD sim from Klook app It will give you 100GB worth 4G internet And free calls to last you easily 8-10 days even. Pick up point at Cheers store on level 2. Use mini bus to reach your hotel. It will cost you $SGD 9 per person with a travel time of 25-30mins. Booking stand is location at last level. They charge credit card and d

its a wonderful hotel and highly recommended for families with kids. centrally located and very convenient to orchard road through the link bridge to paragon shopping centre. super easy to access through the pool area on the 4th floor. estimated 1-2mins walk time to paragon through covered walkway, so no worries abt rain or kids crossing the road. super easy to maneuvre with kids tagging. we stayed in a 1 bedroom unit, super spacious with good kitchenette facilities, washing machine, dishwasher, cooker and 2 tv. wifi was superb, very strong reception and we connected the wifi to 4 smartphones with no disruption. good water pressure for the showers. all in all... a highly recommended location in orchard for families who are looking for extra space.

Had a weekend stay and was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the hotel and the room. Internet coverage and access was good and food in their mezza9 restaurant was of superb quality and taste! Hotel is located just outside of the main Orchard Road area making it less crowded and noisy. It took less than 5 mins to walk to the beginning of the Orchard Road belt where all the shopping centres and boutiques are located. Staff were friendly and warm upon check in and check out. They genuinely made me feel welcome. Truly a 5 star hotel as they claim it to be!

Had to call the reception to get the plumber for about 4 times during our stay to fix the basin drain line due to always blocking. Had to remind the reception daily in order to get the daily complimentary newspaper. These two issues were the draw back during our stay . Other than that, the housekeeper was great. We had a very good sleep every night after coming back exhausted from shopping or sightseeing. The room is very clean & quiet. The twin beds are a bit smaller but very comfortable. The process of check in & out was fast too. Overall, this hotel is very close by to shopping centre, food centre & Orchard MRT station. We really enjoyed our stay especially during the Christmas Eve in Orchard road near Somerset with so many thousands of people celebrate Christmas count down. We will certainly coming back again to Singapore.

simple hotel. despite the fact that it is located just 10mins by walk from orchard area where is the heart of singapore, it is in quiet and greenly residential area. the premise is maintained well and neatly. the room is large enough, but bed may be a bit small if you are taller. the facility is pretty simple. there are restaurant and cafe on the 1st floor and shop is on the ground floor where you can buy some light snacks and drinks. souvenir shop and english book shop is also equipped with the small shop. auditorium is also quipped. the premise has been built as english training centre as well, therefore it also has some technical training or study rooms with exercise room. nursery is on 8th floor, too, where seems to be membership ones. the receptionist are diligent, polite and kind with warm heart. if you prefer simple hotel, or it's enough to get a bed simply, the hotel is good and enough.

My second time staying in Novotel. New hotel, near Orchard road, but away from the bustling of Orchard crowd. A few not so positive things to note : 1. I didn’t not request for an extra bed, but when I got to my room, there was an extra bed inside. I had booked the room for one pax only. 2. For a relatively new hotel, the drainage system is not very well maintained, shower room floods every time i used it 3. Lacking basic toiletries in shower cap, soap dish. 4. Aircon system of Food Exchange not maintained. Water dripping from ceiling, and heavy water marks can be seen around the aircon vent. 5. The hotel could have provided more information on shuttle bus service from T Galleria back to hotel, give the location of the pick up point at T Galleria. Other than that, it’s a cosy place, friendly staff, clean environment.

We spent 4 nights from 19 Dec to 23 Dec 2017 at Shangrila Apartments, with 3 adults, and 4 years & 7 years kids. We booked apartment with 1 bedroom & extra bed. Location wise is very quiet and is within 13 minutes walking to Lucky Plaza. Small private buses are available to drive you to Orchards shopping centre area, with scheduled timetable, though. The staffs are professional, very responsive & have very good attitudes. Room is clean and have all standard apartment utilities, although the microwave is quite old (using old technology that is not as easy to use compared to the modern one). Booking with Agoda is very easy and the coordination with Shangrila Aprtments is two thumbs up. Overall, it is good value for the money with expected Shangrila standards. Ofcourse, We will come again.

This Hotel has a tranquility surroundings. Cozy Rooms, clean, convenient Space and very good hospitality from the staff. Only 5 minutes walking distance to Sommerset Shopping Centre, where there are plenty of foods, shops and entertainment. Which is very alive during nighttime. For traveler, they could easily get taxi,buses and MRT station which is below Sommerset Shopping Centre. Overall, It's a Good Hotel for price as well as for the location.

Even this place is quite small, they provide great facilities. I love the bathroom door design. One door can be both bathroom door and shower area door. So if you are showering, another person can use the toilet and wash basin. The location is on Orchard between Somerset and Orchard MRT station. Somerset is nearer, get off at Sometset313 or Orchard Gateway (exit B) . It's just opposite Takashimaya shopping centre.

It was my first time travelling out of country so I made sure I'd get the best hotel with cheaper price, and so I decided to book with Agoda. Checking in was fast. I spent not longer than 5 minutes and we were good to go in to our room. Check in should be at 2pm but we were made to check in an hour earlier since the room was ready when we got there. The hotel us quite far from famous tourist attractions but there is a bus stop just across the hotel in front of Raffles Girls School. Also, you can take taxi just in front of the hotel entrance, or take a Grab ride. Rooms were quite small but really clean. If you are a tourist and you spend most of your time outside, you wouldn't really mind the room size. I had a great time staying there. If I go back to Singapore, I would choose to stay here again.

I stay for 1 night with my husband for our honeymoon staycation. It was pricy but was worth every money spent. I had requested for the garden room but it was all taken. I was early for check in but they gave me a room anyway. Staff were very friendly, and upon knowing is was our honeymoon stay, they sent a bottle of red wine with chocolates and cookies, all complimentary from the hotel, to our room. We sure spent quality time drinking the wine. The room is big and well design. The open concept of the bathroom makes the whole room looks bigger. The bed and pillows are super comfortable. Location is great, closed to all the shopping centres, and mrt. The mrt makes the travelling so easy.

I have always stayed here when coming to Singapore. Singapore Marriott Hotel is the best and my most favourite hotel to stay when coming to Singapore, highly recommended especially if you are a shoppaholic. It is located exactly at the centre of the great Orchard Road which everyone knows is a shopping heaven for all shoppers. Around the hotel, there are several big shopping malls like the ION Orchard, Wisma Atria, Takashimaya, Shaw Centre, Wheelock Place, Far East Plaza, Tangs Plaza, Lucky Plaza, Paragon, and some other smaller shops scattered around the Orchard Road and all of them are only minutes of walking distance from the hotel. It is always be my first choice of hotel when coming to Singapore.

Within walking distance to many good shopping centres like Centrepoint, Heeren, Orchard Gateway, Takashimaya, Paragon. I got upgraded to Executive Deluxe and the room was nice and spacious. Visitors should note that the hotel is surrounded by buildings on all sides and the front of the hotel is an expressway, so there are no good views from rooms. It was a good stay. Very comfortable bed and I woke up very well-rested.

I booked and stayed in this hotel on the advice of another business colleague in Feb 10. Quite simply this is the best hotel I have stayed in to date. The staffs’ are very friendly and helpful, with the business centre being very accommodating for what I had to do. The line restaurant for breakfast is marvellous, the standard and quality of service was second to none. The hotel room was spacious and well equipped and overlooked the pool. The pool and surroundings are excellent and have a very tranquil feel about it, the pool staff attentive and helpful. The hotel is situated on Orange Grove Rd and not therefore as conveniently located as some other hotels but, this means that the hotel is away from the frenetic activity and noise of Singapore's Orchard Rd making it a relaxing and charming place to stay. I was so impressed with my stay I cancelled my reservation at another hotel in Bangkok the following week to stay at their sister hotel there.

Check-in was quick and simple, room was a good size with quality bathroom products, comfy bed, prompt service in lobby bar area with a friendly smile! Easy access to lots of great shopping centres and MRT not far from hotel. Great service leaving hotel with access to taxi straight away. Only thing I would suggest is that whilst having access to wi-fi in the lobby was helpful it should be a given that in this day and age that all guests receive wi-fi in their rooms. Otherwise, it was a very enjoyable stay.

I stayed five days at The Regent Singapore. The hotel was very nice with helpful and caring staff. Our room was clean, nice smell and quiet. The breakfast was good. It took me only 10 minutes to walk to Takashimaya shopping centre. Taxi fare from the hotel to the Singapore Zoo, Bird park or Sentosa is quite reasonable. My son loved the hotel very much. He did not want to go back to Viet Nam. It has been almost a week since we went back to our country, but my son keeps asking me to come back to the hotel. I will stay at the Regent Singapore again if we revisit Singapore.

My boyfriend and I had a relaxing stay at Lloyd's Inn for 1 night. The hotel was near many big shopping centres and eating places (there's a 24-hour Indian cafe/restaurant on the same street), yet is quiet enough for us to enjoy some private time. We love the outdoor bathtub the most, it was the highlight of our stay. We were lucky to get the skyroom on Agoda, because it was stated as sold out on the hotel's page. We had a peek into the Reading room on our way to our room, and it seemed pretty small though sufficient enough for a party of 2. So, we made the best out of the room we got - that means spending lots of time outside in the tub. The staff was friendly and most of them are locals, from the receptionist to the cleaning aunties. :) Few gripes we had was there wasn't a flask in the room (my boyfriend searched the drawers), and there was only a curtain to separate the outdoor area and the toilet. A sliding door would have been nice. When it rained at night, it was quite loud and gave me quite a good scare - but thats just me. Other than that, we also thought the price was tad steep for 1 night even though it was a promotional price, as the pool was not big enough for swimming and there was no cafe in the hotel (but to be fair they gave us breakfast vouchers). Other than that - pretty lovely place for local/overseas guests. One tip is to be sure to book a room that you would enjoy - for us it was the outdoor tub for it meant we could bask in the sun in our own backyard.

Our stay was such a great experience, we arrived early in singapore at 6am and our room was ready for us!! along with offering breakfast for that morning. I would like to make a special mention to Joo (i think it was) she showed us around the room and the building and was happy to help with absolutley anything. The location is absolutely perfect right near ION (the major shopping centre) as well as shopping on scotts and orchard road and extremely close to the MRT. The buffet breakfast was good but having the option to dine at the sister hotel royal plaza on scotts at their buffet was better as they had a much bigger range. I cant rave about the staff enough they helped me with printing off documents, booking more luggage and arranging flowers for my boyfriend to give me on a certain day. I cant recommend this serviced residences enough, it made our holiday all more enjoyable, i will definitely be returning. Thankyou 8 on claymore!!

How many 3 star hotels offer bedroom slippers, hair dryer, a fridge, a safe, and bathroom fittings reminiscent of a 4 or 5 star hotel? My only complaint was the noise from the water outlet in the bathroom. It's about a 400 metres walk on level ground from the train station and the bus stop is just outside the hotel. They have a shuttle to Orchard Road, the Botanic Gardens and also to the train station if one has a lot of luggage. The staff we met were extremely friendly and helpful; especially Mona!

Five minutes walk from busy MRT Station and shopping centre, and across the road from Fort Canning Park, the location is perfect. The room was clean, we were upgraded to 11th floor which was nice as we had a pool view and view of the upmarket Fort Canning Hotel. The hotel, managed by YWCA, does not provide full service. It does store your luggage if you are returning to stay. Staff were friendly Breakfast wasn't in our rate - not a problem as good eating places are found in the shopping centre.

we check in around 3pm and surprise to hear that our room is being upgraded to a suite. the room is very big and got a living room and dining table. there are also 2 tv sets. the hotel is situated at the beginning of orchard road. we just need to walk around 10-15 minutes to get to the ion orchard and takashimaya shopping complex. the bus stop is just in front of the hotel. overall we are very satisfied during our 2 nights stay at the orchard parade suite. :)
