Staying at Tajmasago castle is best lucky experience in my life. Because there was a no room, I could stay at upgraded room, the best room, president suite. It was very beautiful. If I couldn`t use president suite, I fully satisfied with my accomodaition. Very quiet surronding of hotel gave me comfortable feeling. Outside of hotel was also beautiful and there is big shoping mall(Crescent mall).

Everything is excellent. Food is great, staff are friendly. Facilities are outstanding. Location is perfect for me. Near to everything for my needs (SECC, RMIT Vietnam campus). Not to far away from District 1 or District 3 (use Nguyen Tat Thanh street, less traffic and have no problem to travel to District 1). Dinning in room services are excellent and the same price as in the restaurant. Buffet breakfast are great and a lot of choices. Love daily noodle soups, taste every day for a week of our stay. Food and room prices are very competitive, cheaper than other hotels/restaurant in District 7 and too cheap comparing with other hotels in District 1. Already booked again for my next business trip in Jan 2018. This time, I stayed 7 nights with my family. My two young kids (4 and 7yo) are happy even I had to leave them to work during business hours as they enjoyed facilities of all the nearby shopping centres (Crescent Mall, SC Vivo City, Lotte Mart)

This is my 3rd time visiting this hotel. It is indeed a good stay and never regret on booking this hotel. The price I paid is equivalent to a lower grade hotel in District 1. This hotel is in District 7 but just a taxi ride of about 15 minutes and can get me to District 1 already. Taxi Ride is about $100k vnd or below. This hotel room is bigger than some hotels in District 1. So it's about location or room size. The WIFI is stronger compare to my previous 2 stays and I think they had upgraded their WIFI. Their Breakfast is normal and I like their noodle soup :) The staff are friendly and one of the receptionist even remember me as a regular customer. The receptionist will call in the afternoon if you missed the room make up in the morning. The aircon is super cold and they have 2 card keys to each customer. All rooms access need the card keys to access in lifts. Oh, not to forget to highlight, they even allow me to late check out at 1 plus in the afternoon. Overall, this is a value for Money hotel which I think it's worth a 4th visit from me. Will definitely be back again.

I was visiting District 7 for health reasons and the Hotel was close to the FV Hospital. The staff became aware of this and were so helpful and caring. They went out of there way to cater to my every need. I must, in particular, mention the young lady who the Assistant to the Manager. What a kind and caring young lady, but all the staff from Reception to Room Cleaning and Restaurant were very professional as well. As I was not feeling the best the Courtesy Vehicle was at my disposal for all my visits to the Hospital which really did help my recovery. The Driver was very helpful and professional as well. The Hotel and room was very comfortable and clean. It was a pleasure.

stumbled upon Odean by accident the first time round, but it so created such an indelible memory that the second time was an intentional stay. the husband + wife team runs a tight ship with excellent staff, which speaks english. if you are looking to stay somewhere away from the hustle and bustle of HCM, especially D1, this is the place to be. it is peaceful and quiet, yet do not be deceived by the quaint environment. there are bountiful of amenities around. it is within the korean community, so you can expect convenience stores, grocery marts, restaurants, juice shops and even a singaporean shopping mall - SC Vivocity. everything is within walking distance. if you have a need to go to D1, you can hail a cab, or just take a local bus. the rooms are decent sized, and nicely decorated. just like the hotel, it is french-inspired decor. it has amenity pack, cable tv, hair dryer, etc. all the basic amenities you would expect. the breakfast is nothing like any normal hotel's breakfast. i had the wanton mee (pork/shrimp dumpling noodles). and it certainly reminds me of home. rest assured they also have the standard continental breakfast to cater to other tastes i consider myself a seasoned traveller, staying in plenty of accommodations around the world. and Odean definately ranks among the top 3 in my list. do not simply trust this review - book a night and judge for yourself. trust me, you will not regret it. as my review title suggest, it may be rated as 3-stars, but the service is 5-stars. it is bitter sweet to write this review as this means unravelling a gem which more people will know. and perhaps, i may not have a place to stay next time when i return, due to the hotel being overbooked!!

It was really relaxing to stay here. The staffs were so helpful and friendly. I've met the French and Vietnamese managers, they can speak English and French fluently. They even helped me to get my lost phone back (as I forgot on taxi). I got a promotion booking and wanted to upgrade to deluxe room, it was clean and has good view. The woody furniture was absolutely high class and european style. You may find the same quality in the 4 star hotel. Although there were some little noises caused by the other Korean guests and nearby construction, it was ok for me as I have stayed in district 1 and it was terrible with the noise pollution. It was also near to many global restaurants and shopping. This hotel is renovating and will open a restaurant, I would be glad to be back here next time I visit HCMC. Good to travel here if you want to take some rest.

Wanted the same room as I stayed before but the hotel was completely sold out and was only left with the Standard room choice ( basic entry level) and room with the lowest price tag. Unfortunately it was on the ground floor and near the lift lobby. Fortunately it was only for one night and thankfully, the walls of this hotel are not paper-thin like some the other hotels. Room was bigger than most other hotels and was adequately furnished and fitted. Shower was great. Only issue this time was the AC which I think was due for a service.

Ok so the photo does no really match the actual environment but that is no surprise at all with online advertisement. Instead, it was cosy and the decoration is relatively new compared to other hotels in that street. My room is probably the cheapest so it is located on the first floor right behind the "front desk". Since its the cheapest so the small walkway and connected balcony with barred window view doesnt bother me at all. English is a minor problem with warm hospitality and persistence to take care of my issues such as renting a bike and dinner selection. Overall, it is a real bargain and satisfy all my basic demand.

I had a perfect stay here. This brand new Hotel is very lovely and clean,my room have a street view that very nice at night! The staffs are so helpful,good English. wifi and air conditioner are splendid,you always connected,the wifi is everywhere and fast! I highly recommend this brand new hotel in this area,you can also find many Korean/Japanese/Vietnamese restaurants in walking distance! At night it's very quiet,we had a good night after a long day! Thanks for all,i will comeback very soon!

We extended our stay at this Hotel to 6 nights, as we loved the atmosphere of this place, it's very friendly staff & the very comfortable rooms! Congratulations to the staff at reception, restaurant & also cleaners, who were all friendly, helpful & always happy to talk to us Aussies! The food provided at breakfast was fabulous & served with a smile. We felt very relaxed & "at home" here, and look forward to coming back with our family in December for another visit ! Thanks,

I saw lots of review that this hotel is suck before booking.. so I didn't expect too much before I check in. However, when I entered the room, the room was clean, spacious and organised. Also, there was a balcony which has a nice view on 5th floor. Regarding the amenities, the room was all equipped with essential things such as shampoo, body cleanser, hair dryer etc.. Overall, it will be a best choice for budget traveler.

I usually stay at d1 but wanted to be away from the hassle this time around and ended up booking this place in Phu My Hung because of its good looks. The building looks very nice, with a quite romantic architecture, although chatting with the receptionist I picked up that's a new construction. My room was not very big but well decorated, clean and comfy, with good sound isolation. Staff was friendly and helpful, and breakfast was simple but tasty. Picking this neighborhood turned out to be a good call. Although it takes 20 min cab to get to the center, it's much more pleasant than downtown Ho Chi Minh and doesn't have all the chaos and pollution of the more central districts. Special mention to the nearby Crescent Mall with cool pedestrian promenade! I'll definitely be back

I stayes in this hotel for 4 nights. The hotel itself is nice, especially suite room but they need to improve on their service. There are days i came back without water in my room. There are times i saw hair on the floor from previous customers. There was a night they did not refill the liquid soap. Attention to details are lacking but for the price i paid, i don't expect much.

My wife and I couldn't have stumbled on a better hotel for our purpose. I had a replacement hip operation at the nearby FV Hospital. The location was ideal - a very quiet area in close proximity to the hospital. The staff were so helpful and friendly. They booked day trips for my wife and sister-in-law and taxis to wherever we wanted to go. The restaurant downstairs provided meals that were excellent, and was so popular that we booked each night to be sure of our table. We ended up booking 2 rooms for my recuperation and privacy. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting the best stay in Ho Chi Minh city.

생긴지 얼마 안된 호텔이라 깨끗하고 매일 물 커피 어메니티도 잘 채워주시고 청소도 깔끔하게 해줍니다. 타올과 베딩 모두 고급스럽고 매트리스 또한 편안했습니다 . 7군에 머물러야 한다면 무조건 다시 오고싶습니다. It is a brand new hotel. Bedding and towel is high quality and daily housekeeping was also perfect. But if your room is first floor then you need ear plugs not to wake up early in the morning. Other than that it was a really good hotel if you need to stay in D7. I would definitely stay again Fide hotel next time.

BREAKFAST WAS AWESOME! Everything else was cool too. Design of bathroom, bedroom, great cable selection with English channels. Next to mall and across from restaurants walking distance. Staff is nice. The only negative was that my room was made up by housekeeping even though I had "Do not disturb" on the door. Nothing missing so no big deal. If I return to this area ill stay here first hands down.

You need to cross the road to do your check-in. Where there is a reception desk at front. Say can’t find my agoda booking number. Then ask me to stay at the old Vein Dong Hotel 1 which I book VD Hotel 2. I rejected and then ask me to provide detail and which I did later. So they put me back to my VD Hotel 2. Overall still okie as the location is near to many restaurants and mini marts. Many taxi and Grabs. Night time with security Guards patrolling the streets. A Korean district.

I booked for a suite with balcony but when I got there, the lady told me the room was sold out so she gave me a room without balcony and I was fine with it. She is really friendly, helped me on a few occasions with the grab rides and also telling the driver my destination! I forgotten to get her name thou. The room is quite spacious and clean. The only downside is the toilet that has no drainage at the shower area, so it flows right out of the shower area which will make the toilet wet. There is no rack to put your toiletries at the shower area and so I had to leave them on the floor. In the morning it is pretty bright as the shades are not fully covered to the floor. Walls are thin so you can hear the slightest closing and opening of door and people walking around. It will disturbing for light sleepers. Location is OK. There is a 24hr minimal just beside the hotel with some eateries and massages along the way. When I checked out, The staff (this time a guy) helped to call a massage place to check for availability and also to book a slot for me. He also helped me with the grab taxi. Overall, I'm impressed with the friendliness of the people of this hotel! Thumbs up for them!
