Find hotels in Taman Tasik Menjalara Park

Room is fairly big though it's an old hotel so don't expect modern furnishings. Internet connection is good enough for my work. Bed is quite hard though. Location is decent, not the best - the good food places at Kepong are not within walking distance, but all within a 10 minutes drive. There is complimentary parking at the hotel building; though lots are limited I always managed to find a lot. There is also free parking on the road fronting the hotel, but this is usually fully taken up by the shoppers at the mall next door. There is a Giant supermarket at this mall so it's convenient to buy necessities.

We stayed here because this hotel is near Genting and we went to Malaysia for the event Good Vibes festival. Location is 30mins away from the city and around 1 hr from the airport. I liked our stay, some of the staff are friendly. There’s a 7/11 in the hotel which is convenient. There’s also a Tesco and old town white coffee which is just a few minutes away. Comments and suggestions: Hotel room was nice and great, however, a small refrigerator would be convenient and i would say will complete the experience of our stay. Extending the hours of pool and gym at least until 11pm or 12mn would be nice too. A 24hr operating resto would be great too. Good thing there’s a 7/11 at the hotel, whenever you get hungry by midnight. But sometimes still prefer to have real food at night. Also, there’s nowhere in the booking details I found out about the RM 10 tourist fee charge per night. So I was surprised that there’s an additional charge at the hotel when I thought I fully paid the booking. We got 2 rooms for 3 nights. So we were charged RM 60. We just got at the hotel and haven’t had some of our money changed yet. So it’s a bit hassle. On top of that, there’s also a RM 100 deposit fee per room. Which also costs us RM 200 for both rooms. I tried to bargain maybe we could just give atleast RM 50 per room to lower the cost since it’s only a deposit, but nope, they won’t allow it. As if we’ll check out without our money. Lol Anw. All in all, I can rate it 3.8 out of 5! Would give 4, but still sad about the ref and the attitude of the lady at the front desk.

When i booked it was actually a standard room but the staff upgraded to a deluxe which have very nice view. I love the bfast buffet, especially the nasi goreng. Eventhough i booked through agoda like 5 minutes before checking in, but the staff kindly give me a room even the booking is not updated in their system yet. The best budget hotel so far since they allow for really early check in without additional charge. All in all, i just love this hotel and will definitely come again :)

Few steps away from many good local western and chinese eatery and cafe.And there is one park walking distance to the hotel, so you could go for morning jog first,then take a shower in a hotel and walk to dim sum restaurant or bak kut teh which just located same row with the hotel. Space - its basic hotel, which offer good and clean bed. No lift - but we have no issue with this because very light luggage. Clean and with water heater bathroom. It is unfair to compare with other 3stars or 4 stars hotel room which room rate RM250 and above, if compare with budget hotel, this is a good stay.

At first thought it will be like those ordinary 3 star low cost hotel around KL. Once reach the hotel and open up the room door...OMG...is this a 3 star hotel? It should have at least 4 if not 5 star. Really modern and clean room. Well lit. All necessities need for a good stay are in the room. Quite a decent room. Have safety box, coffee tea making facilities in room, satellite LCD TV. Toiletries all complete. Hair dryer included in the toilet as well. Quite a powerful shower as well. Car park is ready for those who driving. Newspaper (FOC) English and Chinese can be get from the lobby area. Breakfast quite a hearty meal with some Malaysian food as well as some Western breakfast. Fill till you full. I will say it is value for money. Although rated 3 star but feel like 4/5 star. Just one thing need to be improve: staff customer service attitude. Overall is great. Indeed is a pleasant stay.

Pros: Minimalist design Got tv, aircond, towel, hair dryer, plain water, fridge and toiletries were provided in our room. The receptionist was really helpful and quick when we informed him that our tv remote controller was not working properly. The pillows and bedsheet were really comfortable. 5 stars! Cons: There was a MRT construction right in front of the hotel, a bit noisy. Luckily we booked the room with window and we get the room at opposite side of the road! Phew No Parking for hotel guest. We had to park our car behind the hotel (very dark at night). At night, we had to move our car at the available parking in front of hotel.

If you are Malay, then this will be no problem, because got Malay stall If you are Chinese or budget traveler, this location might no be so suitable i manage to go to few nice place only but it take take and not easy to be search without a car(i was on foot). If u have a car, then no big deal..(KFC, Happy City Food COurt, KTZ, Kopitiam near Aeon Metro Prima, tealive, many more , the best will be Aeon Metro Prima anywhere)The most issue is the area is like industrial area, and u can smell what u expected right now...hahahhaha...Last word if u have car(rich enough) then no too much big deal

Need to improve more in facilities. Should put water kettle in the room and iron room in each level. Iron room is too far plus a little bit dark and scary there. I really hope you already register in grab apps for the location. When we try to book for grab, we cannot find the hotel address in the grab apps. We need to use kk speed mart for our destination. Please improve that one. It's not easy for first time traveller like us. Other than that, hotel staffs are really nice and friendly. Room is nice and comfy.

it happens that the hotel is just beside our new office in kepong - wisma menjalara, so it is our definite choice there. it is a new hotel cater for business traveller. the hotel is just in 1 level, newly renovated so it is still clean and neat. it has no fringe facilities like room phone, sandals, breakfast, etc, but provide a good night sleep and i guess that's how it can keep the room rate low, suitable for business travellers.

the hotel's location is fine. when i checked into the hotel, they mention that my voucher was invalid. later, they accepted it after some explanation and we were given a key to our room. the room was average but the smell of the room was pretty bad. it was cigarette smell where as the sign stated it was a non-smoking room. i requested to change room with a top up but the rooms were fully booked. so the receptionist passed a fragrant spray for me. the bathroom is typically small and the partition in the room was in a bad condition. the air-conditioner looks new and it was pretty comfortable. however, it was dripping water. we weren't passed with our hotels when we arrive. i had to make a request only i could get my towels. overall, my stay in this hotel was only average.

perfect for those who are after a bit of privacy, but not too much distance from ttdi, bandar s. damansara, menjalara, or kepong, this hotel is one of only a few to be found. just the airconditioned room, hot shower, call-in food (limited hours) and little else, it is a safe, comfortable room to return to after a day's work nearby. many food outlets within a 15 minute drive in almost any direction.

In this hotel, it stated lower down the volume of the TV because it may disturb other customers BUT THE HOTEL RECEPTION by himself turn on the volume of the TV so loud until the room next / close to it cannot sleep because of the noise.. I think they need to look into this matter whereby the hotel staff himself disturbing the sleep of the customers. Other than this, the pictures of the rooms and the actual view of the rooms are totally different.
