The hotel is situated right in the middle of Jalan Pantai Cenang and it takes less than 5 minutes to walk to the beach. There are many restaurants nearby, especially seafood restaurants. There is also plenty of options to book tour packages as there are many tour agencies on the same street. We rented a new scooter for only 40 MYR/day at one of the tour agency. 2-2.5 litres of petrol would be sufficient for a day of travelling around the island. I would definitely recommend this hotel for non-fussy travelers who do not intend to spend most of their time at the hotel as the hotel does not offer many facilities. There is also not much of a view from the hotel room (for those looking to have sea view rooms). For what the hotel has to offer, the price is very reasonable!

We had called to check if they could provide a room with three single beds before booking and been told they could. Upon check in we found out this was not the case, not the end of the world as our room had a large comfy queen and a single but the reason why they only got 4 stars. The room was spacious, the bathroom the usual asian variety with hot water unit on the wall but a shower which inevitable gets water on the toilet- so much space in the room they could have designed the bathroom better to avoid this- but it was clean and tidy otherwise. Kettle and fridge in the room which is always handy. The pool area could be much better, its just a concrete backyard right behind reception, needs some umbrellas, better loungers and perhaps some potted plants or such to make it a retreat sort of area. Not many hotels along here have pools so they should really showcase this more. The 'Nest' on the rooftop (separate business leased from hotel but they provide the hotel breakfast from what I could tell) did yummy food, not just for breakfast. Its busy at sunset and the views are beautiful. Needs a bit more shade. They don't serve alcohol but the smoothies/mocktails are tasty if overpriced. Definitely book your room with breakfast as its only a few dollars more and breakfast is varied with egg station, yogurt, fruit, cereal, toast (good bread!) tea coffee and noodle/rice on some days. Staff were all very friendly and the views are a great way to start the morning. Overall I would stay here again as the price point for what you get is very budget friendly- we paid about $50USD a night for 3 people inc breakfast! The green thai curry on the rooftop is spicy but delicious and head down the street to Yasmin Syrian Arabic restaurant for a delicious meal. You can cut through the sunset resort opposite to get to the beach (less than 1 min)- a sun lounger for the day is 10 ringgit. You have to constantly log into the internet, it never remembers you- wifi is sufficient but not grea

Beach is behind the hotel , it’s worth of money to stay this hotel.

each house have 2 rooms and the house is isolated, clean and spacious. a very comfortable bed, tv, fridge and even the kettle also provided.the room is built by partition type, so it may hear some noise from your next door. environment for the hotel is very nice and it have a small garden. the staff is friendly and smiley. the hotel is not provede breakfast but there are plenty restaurant such as india food, thai food, western food and seafood restaurant with walking distance even the mc'd just in front of the hotel.opposite the hotel have a free duty shop and the underworld. the hotel also proved parking area, it is good for those who intend to drive their own. the only thing is the air-cond is not so cold on afternoon because the roof is built by zinc type.need to spend around 10 minutes cold down. overall, very satisfy and will stay again for the next visit.

It was a perfect getaway for me and my sister. We stayed at the hotel most of the time just enjoying our room and the facilities and we already feel very happy. We even want to extend our stay but sadly we have work to go back to but we do plan to come back as it has been the best hotel experience for us. The hotel is located in Pantai Cenang which is among the popular beach in Langkawi but never once we feel disturbed during our stay. It is located at one end of the beach. Not many publics came to the beach hence it was a peaceful environment for us. If you are looking for peaceful and quiet environment this will be the perfect place/hotel to go with the perfect view. This hotel was mainly occupied by honeymooners/ retired couple as they don't have family rooms. We only saw 2 kids during our stay and they don't even make that much noise. We stayed in the beachfront room which we really recommend as you will have the nicest view to wake up to. The best thing about this hotel was the staffs. The staffs from the reception staffs to the maintainance staffs are super friendly and attentive which made our stay even more wonderful. They were really kind and helpful. The hotel may not be totally perfect as it is a four star hotel but the way the staff treated you just made you feel you are staying in a 5 star hotel. The food and spa were not that fantastic but again the wonderful staffs made us forget this little imperfections. The room service food price was reasonable to us and the best thing they don't have extra 6% gst nor the 10% service charge. Overall it's been a fantastic and unforgettable stay for us. We are definitely coming back next year.

We cannot wait to go back to Langkawi and stay again in White Lodge Chalet. Location - the best. Secluded in a lush surrounding that's around 5 minute walk to Cenang Beach, Duty Free shops, food stalls and restaurants, Cenang Mall, Underwater World Langkawi and 20 minute walk to Tengah Beach. We reached White Lodge Chalet via 20 minute taxi ride from Langkawi International Airport at an affordable cost of 20 ringgit for 3 pax (paid at the airport counter).It's not a beachfront hotel so we preferred it as it's not crowded and neither noisy. Relaxing and tranquil place with its simple garden and green walkway! Service - the warmest! The reception staff are all fluent in English, tourist-friendly, very accomodating to all our queries and concerns. They immediately responded to a small electrical problem in our room; sent a technician in a snap. They even volunteered to phone a taxi cab for us to the airport upon check out. Wonderul people! Value for money - I enjoyed our 4D3N Langkawi getaway with my wife and our 8 year old son via our stay in White Lodge Chalet. Our limited budget was truly maximized and stretched with affordable rate at this chalet. We purchased our stay via online booking at agoda and despite without breakfast, we still believe every cent was worth it!

the motel is newbie and fresh paint. very clean and air cond cool as per guest wanted. staff really friendly and always gave the best service to guest. i and my group had a great vacation at langkawi as we just rental the car and island hopping package from the hotel. easy and trusted. the location is nearby to pantai chenang. walking distance about 5 mins. valuable for money and i will book the hotel again in future.! since the hotel is newbie, i suggest some facilities may be upgrade such as to install the light around the swimming pool , easy for guest to do a bbq dinner, to place iron boxs and hair dryer at every room so that guest easy to iron their cloth anytime. thank you.

We had the room decorated by the famous Surprise Bloomer and we love it. The hotel itself is very lovely, reminds us of the hotel we used to stay at Bali. It has that romantic, tranquil ambiance. Not too dense and crowded. The staffs are very friendly. Located not too far from Cenang beach, you have to walk a bit or charter a car/taxi would be convenient as well. The room rate that we have inclusive of RM30/pax dinner voucher at Telaga Seafood/Arabic cuisine located at Cenang too. We love the private jacuzzi pool, very spacious & well maintained. We were looking for a private pool or sort, this seems a good value for money as compared to high end hotels.

The hotel is very close to shops, Underwater World, restaurants. Walking distance to beach. Very large parking area so no parking issues here. Room is clean, large and comfortable. Swimming pool is big and nice, also has a pleasant view of the beach but it is not really taken care of (beer bottles, trash, even empty and rusty electric kettles are everywhere). The hotel is still under construction but there is no loud sounds. Overall, quite pleasant stay. Just hoping that the pool is cleaned just like the rooms.

smooth check in. staff speaks basic english. if you want them to make room everyday, inform them else they would not. have to ask for water everyday. relatively clean room however there were 5mm tiny roaches that i had killed. you may find spider webs along the corners of the room. big comfy bed with thick blanket. soft pillows. bed has a few short curly hair like those from the leg. room doesnt stink. there is kettle, fridge, glasses, tea, plates, spoon provided. towels. toilet paper. bring ur own shampoo and body soap. there is handwash soap. hot water from shower is good however water pressure is medium. no cable tv, local channels only. hotel close to beach about 10mins walk. slightly away from the crowded area. free on site parking althou is a bit cramp. gd to park and walk down the st to explore.

Superb location as it locate in the Main Street of Cenang beach, just right in front of Underwater World. Staff very friendly and helpful especially Sara, she even help us to arrange for car booking and follow up at late evening. Hotel is still under renovation but the room are perfect, all utilities are new and room are clean. Just little bit concern as you may easily heard people talking or car passed by since balcony just faced to Main Street. Overall present stay with value money!

It's Great! Me and my fellow uni friend stayed in The Village Langkawi for only three nights. It already made us feel like home and missed it so much while we were leaving. It's very natural (cattle are all around and chicken woke us up every morning) and a good night view (thousands of millions stars can be seen in the sky). The hotel itself is good. The bed is very comfortable. Wifi is strong. And the host of the Hotel allowed us to use the frige. They also helped us to take care of our stuff even though we'd checked out. Five minutes' walk to Pantai Ceneng main road (which all restaurants and shops are around) and Pantai Cenang beach as well. Ten minutes to Airport. All in all, recommend The Village Langkawi to everyone!

I was actually pleasantly surprised upon checking in to the unit last time. Not only they allowed me to check in relatively early, the process was also so easy. The room was quite spacious, very clean and looked new. All the basic needs are provided. Would definitely stay there again. Travellers are advised to have own transportation for easy access as it is slightly on the outskirts of Cenang beach.

The hotel is new, so the room was very nice, big and clean (but no internet). The staff is very friendly but you actually almost never see anyone, the office was always close (but their house is close). The hotel in situated quit fare to the beach, so it's better to have a bike or motorbike. It's also fare to the main street with all the restaurants, but at least the surrounding is nice and very quiet.
