Very much enjoyed our stay, our 9th or 10th. Located by the Llong a trip to Pratunam is very quick and only 9 baht You can see Wat Saket from the upper swimming pool and Victory Monument and Wat Phra Kaew and Wat Pho are not far. Maybe not so convenient if you want the sky train and nightlife. We had a very good Thai massage and sauna. .The gym looks good but we are too old for that. Two swimming pools and a big clothes market under....excellent value for money

We stayed for two nights before flying to Krabi because we really wanted to experience Bangkok. The Nouvo City Hotel did not disappiont. The rooms were fantastic and the service was impeccable. It is situated a few minutes walk away from Koh San Road which was ideal because you weren't too far away from the nightlife but you were far enough away to enjoy a good night's sleep. The main tourist attractions such as Grand Palace and Temple of the Leaning Buddha were 10 minutes away on a tuk tuk (costing 20 baht-40p). When we return to Bangkok we will not be looking to stay anywhere other than the Nouvo City Hotel because for service, quality and value for money, you could not go wrong.

If you would like to be in the heart of a city and surrounded by lots of street food vendors during the day and enjoy the crazy fun nightlife then this is your place to stay. It could be really loud outside around the hotel from all the pubs and bars on the street but we didn't hear anything that would keep us up at night. We traveled to Bangkok and would like to stay close enough to tourist spot like the grand palace and The emerald Buddha temple and such so I chose to stay here. It is close enough to take a walk to those places or even the muay Thai Stadium. My husband enjoyed swimming in their pool and the whole family enjoyed Free Breakfast that came with the booking . The Breakfast buffet line has various options for different cultures. My family really enjoyed the Fresh Noodle station and all the staff were really nice and accommodate. Overall, we really enjoyed staying here and would be back again.

We had a super time here - fantastic service, easy check in/out (24 hour). Rooftop pool is a real highlight after being in the city all day - and a real haven from the hecticness of Khao San Road. Despite being right in the thick of it, our room was quiet and we didn't have any noise problems. From there, it's a short walk to pubs bars, or for culture and good eats into Chinatown and the major tourist sites of Emerald Buddha/Wat Pho. Staff very friendly, lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended.

To be honest I was baffled. Some of the reviews said it was tired, wasn't a four star, poor facilities.... We thought the taxi driver had the wrong hotel as we arrived and the bell-man opened our door. Check in was easy. The pool was great to swim (I mean big enough - obviously pools are for swimming). There were plenty of loungers around for sun bathing. I did the insanity workout in the gym on my iPad and I was the only one in there. The staff were helpful, hotel was spotless and I would genuinely say we will come here again and tell all our friends. Only trade off is there isn't an easy restaurant to walk to. There is a 7-11 across the street but it closes about 4pm! But it wasn't a problem for us and the restaurant wasn't too badly priced. The wifi is strong in the room. You get an hour free and can pay for more. We debated the virtues of this as a couple. My fiancée is an avid googler and had a small period of adjustment....but if you're savvy, disciplined and log in and out every time you finish the specific task, download emails and read off line etc, then we found we could get by. One final comment is about the taxi to the airport. They charge you a fixed price of 500bht. This was mentioned in several reviews as somekind of conspiracy! Well it costs the driver 100bht each way in tolls and takes 45 mins to an hour depending on traffic. We had to sort our visa a few days before so made the same trip having hailed a metered taxi and then had to barter a price as meters are for trips within central Bangkok and they wanted to charge 600 bht. We got it for 500 in the end but then booked with the hotel for our 6am departure to save the hassle - taxi was there waiting for us and the bell-man carried our bags!! Thanks for a great experience.

Nanda is the nicest hotel we could have found in Bangkok. For a very nice price you get to stay in a calm area but walking distance from khao san and all the buzz... we walked several times, tuk tuk is about 50 baht which is close to nothing. As an architect, I was overwhelmed by the design and beauty of the hotel. Interesting design books in the lobby... A week before staying here we stayed in a 5 star hotel in Sukumvit, which was double the price, in a huge skyscraper, but we enjoyed staying in Nanda wayyyy more. Staff is amazing, helpful, pretty good english ( which is not common in Bangkok). We are coming back to Bangkok this year and we will stay in Nanda again.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. It's a nice escape from the busy road below, or if you are looking for it, it's right at your fingertips. The hotel was good value for money with all the basic amenities you would need for a short stay. For being on khaosan road we found that our room was supprisingly quiet in the evening but the aircon was abit noisey. It is in excellent location if you are wanting to see the grand palace, emerald buddha and wat pho. Just a short 5-10 minute walk but make sure to take a bottle of water because it can be extremely hot and its a fair walk untill you get to a shop inside. We decided to go in the morning and found it to be less busy than a lot of reviews have said. Deffinatly the best feauture of the hotel had to be its rooftop pool. It was very refreshing to take a dip mid afternoon after a day of sight seeing. It was never crowded and a beautiful place to watch the sun set over Bangkok. I would recommend staying in this hotel.

Comfortable hotel right in the middle of the action in Bangkok. Close to everything you want to see (Grand Palace, Reclining Buddha, Emerald Buddha, and Temple of Dawn) plus right in the middle of Koah San Road. Breakfast at the hotel was great and it has an awesome rooftop pool/bar. The only con is that it can get really loud at night as the partying doesn't stop until 5am. So depending on where your room is in the hotel you may hear music all night long.

The hotel is new and located in the Phra Nakhon district which I particularly like for its closness to so many eating places, temples, the Chao Phraya. You could even walk to the Grand Palace from the hotel. Breakfast could definitely be improved, fruit is the only thing I ate. I did not really like the design of the hotel but I do not really mind for a few nights considering that the price is relatively low (as at Aug 2013 there is a 50% discount, I don't know if things will change in the future).

After 24+ hours of virtually sleepless travel with my 11 year old son, arriving at 6 a.m. at Casa Nitha, Bangkok, what a welcome and comfortable place to call home for a night. The staff was kind, warm, and accommodating. They allowed us an early-check in because they had a room available. We spent the early a.m. in the pool (my son loved this!), then walked around the neighborhood to get acquainted with Thailand. We walked to Khoa San Rd (to see what the travel hoopla was about- meh!), visited the Wat Chanasongkhram Ratchaworamahawihan temple, ate lunch, and got a wonderful massage down the road, to get all the achy travel pains out. Then we returned to our room and feel fast asleep. We both were content in our AC room, comfortable beds, clean and quiet rooms. We slept 12+ hours. Oh and the WIFI is strong. I recommend!

I was recommended by a friend who visited this hotel late 2017. I fell in love with the entire concept of the hotel. its sets in a gorgeous historical setting. if you are a lover of peace, tranquility and classic this hotel offers all. the welcome drink Bael Juice is must try. it has a lot of healthy nutritional values. the staff is fantastic. they event brought the juice to my room at 1am as i had a sudden craving for it. only 1 comment i could offer to make the overall stay perfect - the breakfast spread could have been better. i stayed for 4 days and it gets a little tiring to be eating the same spread everyday (different style of egg cooking). location is walking distance to the chao praya river cruise pier which you can hope on the chao praya river express and visit all the touristy places like Wat Arun, Grand Palace and etc (take the Orange Line as it is cheaper and the same as the Blue Line). the hotel is located near the administrative district of. Grab is the best mode.

We stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights. The hotel is clean and new, centrally located and near to city attractions, like Wat Pho (Temple of Reclining Buddha), Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn), Giant Swing, Wat Intharavihan (The standing Buddha), Dusit Zoo, Grand Palace and The temple of Emerald Buddha. The hotel also has a clean pool where you can relax and see the panoramic view of the city. Outside of the hotel cheap shopping centers are located, delicious street foods, nice bars and affordable restaurants. The wifi is free and fast, Front desk officer can understand and speak english as well.

Perfect location,absolut quiet nice hotel with kind and helpful staff!We got breakfast even it hasn’t inculed the price,and it was very good! The location is close to the famous places like Golden Palace ,Wat Po,Emerald Buddha,.. Also not far from the “ buisy places” where many tourist,restaurants,massage places are. I really recommend for everybody who wants nice,quiet but frequental place in the “ jungle of Bangkok”..

recent hotel but be fast, i really hope that they take care of decay that start showing. the ambiance of the place is moroccan and is built with taste. room was huge and nice. pool is good on the roof but facing an abandonned building, it is quite far but strange. we visited wat saket, and climbed stairs for 20 thb. worthed, there is a lot to do, we stayed for 2 nights and would go back and strongly recommend the hotel.

We were three couples, and we made ample use of the hotel tour services. A little bit pricey, but if you are knew in Bangkok and Thailand they are perfect to go around safely. You are 10 minutes away from Khaosan road if you want some nightlife and good shopping, and twenty minutes (or 20 baht away) from the Grand Palace and the best temples in Bangkok. If you want the modern and noisy Bangkok, anyway, you should look elsewhere. Good location and not too noisy, try to get a room with balcony and the view of Wat Tri, the others lose all the charm of the place.

We booked 5 nights here based on reviews. We wanted a quiet hotel but close to attractions such as the palaces and temples, khoa san road. Despite the protests causing major gridlock around this quarter this didnt hamper our stay. The staff were very polite,helpful and spoke good english. The food at the restaurant at the front was superb and cheep, though the breakfast was mediocre. There was also a travel agency and a very good masseur on the premises. The only let down was that the free tuk tuk service seemed fine until we were dropped off at a scam point. we were told the palace didnt open until 11 am and where prompted to pay for a boat trip for 3000 baht, the normal boat to goto wat arun costs 40 baht. the palace and reclining buddha are open all day, dont be fooled!!

best things about sleep withinn is that it's right next to the busy road of khaosan without having to deal with the crazies at khaosan :D i like that its at rambuttri road (nxt street fr khaosan) so that khaosan is easily accessible if you want to party and/or shop til your feet drop. very good restaurants are along the street so one can choose from a variety of cuisine. the restaurants and bars along sleep withinn are the much quiter version of the ones at khaosan. so one can take a pick. also, the area is within walking distance to the grand palace and other temples. its a long walk though but it'd good exercise. make sure to do this early in the morning, though, as most temples and the palace close early. the only bad things of this hotel i can think of is that it doesnt have free WIFI, which is very important for us travellers. they do offer wifi for a minimal fee. but it would be great if its free. another this is the khaosan area is not accessible through bangkok's BTS and MRT service. one has to take a taxi or tuktuk (if they agree) to the nearest train station.

Nice location, we can state only positive things about the hotel. Moreover, for what you get it was very cheap! The breakfast is very, very nice (Thai and Continental) and you can sit outside to enjoy it!!! The pool was great for us, since we like to swim. We used it after sightseeing in Bangkok, in the evening we were swimming and this was really luxiourous for us. The rooms are nice and clean. Nearby is a nice temple (standing buddha). First when we came to the hotel we were a little bit confused, because the first impression of the surrounding was not so nice. But in the end we attapted very well, we were walking a lot and there are several things you can make by walking distance... chao phraya river, kho san road,.... ect. Enjoy your stay! Bangkok is incredible city!

Only 30seconds to wat bowonniet to do pindapatta to about 100 Bhante Sangha. Khaosan road only 2-4minutes walk. Food & shopping are all around within seconds! Recommended for those don’t mind to sleep at crowd music / bass sound until 2 am midnight. Almost Everything can be found here and pretty affordable cheap price. One same road with Ibis 4 or 5 star hotel. Just opposite of it. Might think of coming back again. If there is no more other better alternative hotel though 😁

The Guest House is near Grand Palace. A few steps away from the Phra Arthit Ferry Terminal wherein you wanted to reach Wat Arun, Wat Pho via Chao Phraya river. Just a short tip when riding the ferry boat be sure to do it quickly. Boat is will stop and pick passengers within 2 mins and then proceed to the next destination. The back portion of the NS Guest House 2 along Ram Buttri alley, you can walk towards Khaosan area either you may want to get a massage, go to street party and drink or simply try out authentic thai street foods. I enjoyed staying in the New Siam II GH. but for improvement, there should be a daily room housekeeping to clean-up and replenish the stocks.

totally clean..friendly & helpfull staffs(all of them that i met). a little problem when i arrive at 11 PM and they can't find my booking number..still wondering how could my booking not listed. luckily i saw my name on their booking file (in a clear holder)! but anyway, staff on duty was really really helpful. We can find street food nearby by walkng 5min, grand palace & watpho can be reached just about 10min by taxi or tuktuk. location is quite easy to find. Golden mount temple just 15min walking (and it is a beautiful temple!) the only thing i can complain from this hotel is no slippers at room. overall, it was a really nice stay and worth it!

The hotel has really good vibes and looks good, I was hanging around the their restaurant for hours and having drinks. Really good breakfast, not typical for Thailand. I really like to walk down Phra Athit road, it is just on the river, and there is a cool park there to chill out. People were doing Yoga in the park and there were some musicians, really Chick area, ohhh yeah and Khaosan is also fun just right near bye.

Was traveling with my significant other and we absolutely loved the hotel! The location is great! It’s right by the democracy monument so giving directions when taking a tuk-tuk or cab was easy, Khao San road and the golden mountain are just a few blocks away, and we quickly learned our was around the area. The staff was incredibly friendly and did a wonderful job of making us feel welcomed. Everything was kept very clean and the housekeepers came by daily to tidy up our room, empty the trash bins, and give us fresh towels. They stocked the room with toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, body wash, q-tips, and more! Our room also had a mini fridge which was very convenient and we used it to keep our many bottles of water cold. We also loved that we could easily control the temperature in our room with a very nice air conditioning system. The only reason it doesn’t get a 5 Star for facilities is because there are a few minor inconveniences, but nothing big enough to ruin our stay! The main inconvenience was the fact that the toilet is extremely close to the sink. I am 5’6 and my boyfriend is 6’0 and we were hitting our knees on the sink every rim we had to go to the bathroom.
