The Dalat Palace Heritage Hotel is beautiful. The original building was built in 1922 and it has been restored a number of times. It is a grand old hotel with probably the best view in Dalat. We stayed on the second floor in a spacious room overlooking the lake. It felt as if we were staying in a chateau in France, with tall, thick doors, a foyer, a clawfoot tub, lush curtains, beautiful wood furniture. The room was large and comfortable. My only complaint was the that the air conditioner didn't work very well. Fortunately, the outside temperature was very cool, and during the day we could leave the windows open. But at night, the mosquitos come, so you need to shut the windows and the A/C couldn't keep the room very cool. It would be even worse in the summer time. The fact that the A/C unit is hidden behind a decorative valance makes it even less efficient. Other than that, the hotel is great. Keep in mind that the old building has no elevator!

we looked for a boutique hotel in a walking distance from city central and found this. it has a great location, next to a french church (nha tho con ga), 10 minutes walking from central lake (xuan huong) and dalat central market. our rooms are on the top level (4th floor), which could be reached by a lovely old-time, french-style lift or a wooden staircase. our rooms facing a main street, but it's not noisy once you close the windows. people in dalat drive in a calm and leisurely way; there's no traffic lights in the whole city; so watching morning traffic is a lovely experience. the rooms are spacious, woody, and clean. in-room wi-fi is free and fast. staffs are friendly and great.

I stayed here for 2 nights. The room given to me is exactly the room shown in the web. It is located right in the middle of the town, so it is easy to get anywhere. 2 minutes walking to the night market, 5 minutes to the popular windmill cafe, 5 minutes to the Xuan Huong Lake, and there's always Mai Linh Taxi in front of the hotel. The staffs are also nice and helpful, they helped me booked my bus to Saigon. The highlight of my stay here is definitely the view. The view from my room may be just another hotel, and some random street, but the view from their restaurant is very beautiful. You can enjoy your breakfast beside the window while looking at the lake and feel the sun on your skin. The greatest breakfast I had in Vietnam. XD Prepare for no aircon, even though they have the portable one inside the wardrobe. But I'm pretty sure you don't need one because it's cold in Dalat. And it's quite noisy because it's nearby the market, but for solo traveller like me, i strangely found it quite comforting. :)

I'll recommend for friends and choose this hotel for next trip to Dalat. Romance and fantastic decoration hotel. Great and helpfull staff. 150m around 7 minutes walking to Dalat Market where you can find food, shopping and coffee shops. Breakfast is good with quite wide range of food (compare with other 3 stars hotels in Vietnam). You should try Chicken rice soup & soy milk from 8-10 PM. I love lady who served our late dinner at restaurant. She's sweat, friendly as my mom :)) I recommend Bich Cau Garden coffee shop which is near Dalat Flower Garden (along Ho Xuan Huong lake). The rate there is reasonable with wide choice. They serve breakfast and lunch also. If you like BBQ, should try BBQ at 33 Hai Ba Trung (just ask taxi driver). Good rate, good food.

We loved Tulip Hotel 3, it is way better than 3 stars!!!!! It is big, comfortable and very clean hotel. The staffs are caring and very polite. We appreciated the discussion with the owner who spends a great deal of time making sure that her business run smoothly. The tour the hotel booked for us was great a little pricey but I guess you have to pay to get quality. I loved this hotel and I would definitely recommend it especially because it is NEW !!!! take care everyone

This is our second stay at the Saigon Dalat Hotel. It's very clean and located just outside the downtown area (not too close - not too far). The room are a nice size and the beds are very comfortable (huge plus). There's free in-room wi-fi which is excellent. Here are the only negative things I would say about this hotel. 1. During our stay, the hotel was booked with an office party. Many of these guest were non 4-star guests. Meaning, there was drunk yelling in the hallways, banging on the doors in the middle of the night, slamming of the doors all day/night. I understand that this does not directly reflect the hotel - but they made no effort to curb this activity either. Like I said, these people are not 4-star qualified as they're not mindfull of others around them. I paid for a nice and quite hotel - but what I got a lot of noisy drunk people. 2. The food was just okay and was boring. Very little change up in the day-to-day offering. Some items are not fresh, and are put away only to be presented the next day. The omlette station and fresh soup station on the other hand are great. The fruit is freshly prepared every day. 3. The servers seems unhappy. When I was there 2 years ago, I recall the servers and restaurant personnel being much friendlier. I don't think a single person cracked a smile. It would be nice to feel as if you're welcome. 4. Out bathtub drained slowly - leaving us to shower in ankle deep in water every morning. I reported it several times - no action was taken. Again, not on par of a 4-star hotel. 5. Out room key became deactivated every couple of days. They had no answer as to why this happened, only that there was a "glitch." We were only inconvienced a few times - but again - not on par with a 4-star hotel. All-in-all we like this hotel. The front staff are nice. We would consider staying here again - but may check out another 4-star hotel to just to compare.

I made the right choice choosing this hotel as it is ideally located. Short walk to lake and market. Plenty of restaurants nearby. The staff were very helpful with our requests and travel information and directions to places of interest. The breakfast which is included in the room rate was not to my expectation. I would expect better quality and more choices in the buffet as this is a 4 star hotel. Other than that, my stay here was very satisfactory and I would recommend this hotel to travellers.

Pros: Room Huge, comfortable, clean bed. Huge bathroom with a rainfall shower with constant hot water. Huge balcony with an unbelievable view. Fridge was brand new. WiFi was perfect. The cleaning staff are great. Location So close to everything. There's an amazing cafe across the street. A burger restaurant 2 doors down (Oz burgers) that has cheap and great quality Western food and cheap beers. Cons: (not many) The electronic door lock is loud and the sound of other people's locks is loud enough to wake you. The elevator is a little slow. That's it... The hotel is great. Try get a room on the 6th floor. The room was little overpriced but still worth the money all things considered I suppose. We stayed in 602 and from what I can tell it was the best room in the place.

I stayed in Tulip I for 2 nights and it was better than I expected. First of all, I was looking for a budget hotel so I didn't expect much. The room was clean and nice, not big BUT enough for 2 ppl moving around. Room had fridge, hair dryer, electric kettle and 2 free water bottles (everyday). The staff are supper friendly, they responded every questions that I had about where to eat, to shop or to go. They are so nice that I feel like they always do their best so I can feel comfortable during the stay. 5 stars for the service!! Tip: there is bus from hotel to airport 40.000vnd (less than 2$) each, which is really cheap compare to taking taxi and you can ask receptionist to contact the bus for you! When I left it was so rush I didn't have a chance to say thank so THANK YOU very very much. Oh and their wifi was pretty fast too so, 1 more plus!

I selected this hotel based on the location near to main market and lake and found it worth it as shown on the net. I enjoyed my stay at the hotel and will definitely return on my next plan. The staff is good speaking fair English, ready to help support for all needs. Very convenient to travel around and the best to go for a walk early morning or in the evening to the lake. Night market is minutes walk away. Overall wonderful experience staying at this place.

The best part about the hotel is probably the location. We just have to walk for 5mins to reach Da Lat city center where the night market is, and we can also walk to the Xuan huong lake in 10mins. The rooms are sound proofed, so it wasnt that noisy despite facing the main road. The bed I got was the worst in my stay in Vietnam though, though I think it is still manageable. I didn't get breakfast so I can't comment on that, but for such a price and location, worth it!

I was planning to go to Dalat with another 2 friends (a guy and a girl). Thats why i was looking for a suite with seperate living room and bedroom areas. Sammy's deluxe suite offers a very nice roomy bathroom (with bathstub and stand). Its living room also has complementary drinks and teabag. The hotel locates very closed to downtown Dalat and Con Ga Church. It took only 7 minhtes to walk to Dalat market. The staffs are very nice. We asked for an extra bed and they charged only 17 dollars for it ( fairly cheap price in my opinion). In general im very pleased with thus hotel during my stay.

The hotel is slightly off the beaten track allowing for a quiet and peaceful stay yet within walking distance to many attractions. The staff are extremely helpful and have tried their hardest to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We met many locals who were extremely friendly and offered us many local food and drinks, so much I ended up pretty drunk. The rooms are even higher quality than more expensive local hotels so the value for money is unbeatable. I have stopped in several places in Da Lat from budget to high end and this was as cheap as the budget hostels and higher quality than the high end hotels. I cannot recommend highly enough we have already decided to stop another night on our way back through Da Lat

I booked a VIP room and really satisfied with all facilities here, bedroom, bathroom, classic closet, cupboard, except the mat with horrible smell, like someone pissed on that. Staff is nice and 1 of the 2 receptionists is super cute, she smiled all the time. Price is reasonable, VIP room is just like the screen-shots, I came at 7 AM and requested an early-booking but the extra fee just cost 120k VND. Motorbikes for hire belong to the hotel, pretty handy. Just 1 complaint is there's no breakfast option when booking since the hotel has no kitchen, luckily there're a few roadside restaurants and Lien Hoa bakery nearby.

Ngoc Phat is just in front of Xuan Huong lake, so just need to cross the road to enjoy the peaceful lake. Big C Supermarket is also in front of the hotel. Staff is nice and helpful. Room is big with nice decoration, superior room has balcony and lake view. Breakfast is really good. They change breakfast menu everyday. The restaurant at the hotel is good as well and the price is almost the same other restaurant in Dalat. The transfer service from the airport is 40,000 VND/ person, much cheaper than you get a private taxi ( around 300,000) . Hotel is 1km from Dalat market and the walking street.

Pros: The hotel is clean and well decorated. Staffs are friendly and attentive. The first night when I arrived Dalat, it was raining and cold. I was craving for a hot drink but there was only instant coffee available in the room. So I asked the reception for a hot cup of soya milk. They brought me my drink within a few minutes, and it was free of charge. Such a nice gesture. Cons: The hotel is not far away from Night Market and Xuan Huong lake, but location is little bit off street. Well hey, if you do not mind, I think there is no problem with taking a taxi. And FYI, Standard Room is on the lower floor. It would be nicer if they provide guest a pair of slippers because the floor is cold. Even though the room was a bit cold, they provided a very comfy bed and super warm blanket and also a mosquito net for extra protection at night. P.s. I’d definitely book this hotel again if I come back to Dalat, but perhaps I’d prefer a Superior Room on the higher floor with a balcony.

It's a very good place to take a rest after your days discovering the city. The hotel is clean and the facilities are still under good condition. The staffs are friendly and very supportive. The location is super convenient, it takes 1-2 minutes to walking to Da Lat market and about 5 minutes to Ho Xuan Huong lake. The interesting part is that, in front of the hotel, there are 3 beautiful cafe. One minus point is, they don't serve the breakfast or any kind of food in this hotel. But I would rather spending my time walking around and discovering the local dishes than sitting in the hotel for a standard breakfast. I had a very good time here with my wife. And I would definitely come back to this hotel on my next trip to Da Lat.

Perfect location to discover the heart of Da Lat, just a few minute walk to Xuan Huong Lake and some vibrant streets of the city. Compared to the incredibly reasonable price, Nam Xuan offered our family a very good service. The staff was helpful. There was sufficient parking space. The room is spacious enough for 4 people with two queen size beds. Big window is a plus with aplenty of sunlight and cozy breezes, there was no need to use the fan or air conditioner at all. Highly recommend for any travellers to Da Lat!

i got a huge room with a great view of the lake for only $28 on agoda. the room was nicely appointed, the staff is friendly and helpful, and speaks english very well. the hotel is scrupulously clean and very secure. breakfast was so-so, but that's not a big deal -- they usually are in "breakfast included" hotels. actually, it was a little better than usual. the location couldn't be better, walking distance to the lake, the markets, the crazy house and royal palace. the real kicker for me was that the staff noticed that i was traveling alone on my birthday. not only did they sing "happy birthday" when i went up to the front desk, but they also put roses and a card in my room. maybe this is standard practice at best western hotels, but i was impressed -- it's the kind of thoughtfulness that raises a hotel to the very top level. i enthusiastically recommend this hotel, and will stay there again myself next time i'm in dalat.

Our stay was absolutely great! The hotel staff was ready to help with everything since the moment we arrived, including recommendations as to where to eat, and explaining where the main sights are. We learnt about the secret tour and booked it and it was so much worth it! Beware that it is not organized every day but 2-3 times a week so it is worth spending a few days - there are options for other trips and activities. I am sure this was the best organized tour I ever did, thanks to Rot who has been really funny but also the dynamics of our group was excellent. The room was neat, spacious and sunny, with a balcony and a great view of Dalat. I know some people complained that their rooms were cold at night but it was not our case: probably as our room was facing the south there was enough sun during the whole day and thus did not cool down so much at night - so try to get a room facing the gardento be on a safe side. The breakfast was weak but that is something we were prepared for as we read previous reviews. Anyway, it's good enough for getting stg into your stomach in the morning, but there are plenty of places where you can eat nearby, including a bakery next door. All in all, we had wonderful time. If I ever come back, I would definitely chose Pink House villa again.

If you love jogging and a quiet stay, this is just the right place for you! The hotel is atop of the hill. All rooms overlook the lake. It takes only a few steps from the hotel, crossing the street to the lake in front of the hotel. There is a good footpath around the lake that you can safely walk or jog any time, from early morning till night. After the walk/jog, you can just walk to town, which takes only 3 minutes. There are a lot of cafe and also street foods in the evening. Shopping for most items can be bargained, usually as much as 50%, lower than the original price quoted.  For sightseeing, ask the hotel to call a taxi for you. For only 40 US dollars a day, you can hire a taxi for all-day tour. You can visit as many as 8 places a day without having to hire a tour guide! Enjoy your visit to Da Lat.

My fiance and I stayed at Pho Nui hotel for 1 night. When we arrived in Dalat, it was still early for check in, so we left our luggages with the receptionists and took a walk around the area. The hotel was very close to DaLat market and Xuan Huong lake, where we could find many local restaurants and coffee shops. We got a room on the 5th floor of Pho Nui hotel. Overall, the room was clean and had all the basic amenities such as hair dryer, toothbrush, shampoo, shower gel, hot/cold water.... What we liked the most about this hotel was the receptionists and bell men. They were very friendly, polite and helpful. They helped us carry the luggage to our room and offered us cheap local tours. We did book a city tour with the hotel for $150,000vnd/person. The tour was guided by a local tour guy, not by hotel staffs. The tour started from 8:30-4 everyday. They took us to several famous places around the city such as Dinh Bao Dai, Nha tho Con Ga, Thien Vien Truc Lam, Thung Lung Tinh Yeu, Datanla fall. Overall the tour was decent, not good but worth the money since it would cost us more than $150,000vnd to go on taxi to visit those places on our own.

We stayed in the deluxe twin room (which I recommend over their standard rooms) for 5 nights. Ms. Hang, the manager was very professional and organized, she arranged our super early check-in at 4:30am and let us stay in a different room until our room become available for free...really appreciated! She also quickly provided us with some things we asked for in the room such as an electronic kettle. The twin room we stayed had a fridge but no table and chairs like the pictures showed, personally I would have liked them instead of a big closet. The breakfast was almost the same everyday but had an amazing variety so we enjoyed it every morning. Ms. Hang also arranged a taxi for us at a reasonable price to the airport (160k dong which seemed much better than metered one). The hotel was very clean and we had a pleasant stay.
