Find hotels in The Chocolate Factory

I stayed for 3 nights. Its quite good but the signage of the hotel cant see far away and clearly. Also i had to drive a bit further from the main road. The location of the hotel is okay. I can drive to the Chocolate Factory in 10 mins. , KruaJanPha restaurant in 5 mins., KhaoYai Mountain in a 10-15 mins. The staff are quite nice and friendly. They will give us infomation of Khaoyai. The place is quiet. I got the mountain view. It is very nice.

It was an awesome stay, away from the buzz of citylife. Although the location is not too good (no neighbouring shopping malls or convenience stores), we had a great driver who brought us to places all over Khao Yai, and that made the stay complete. The whole point about staying at Khao Yai was to relax and bask in the wonders of Mother nature, so it was a great experience. The area is largely unpopulated, without many residents, so the service was good! Near PB valley and the Bloom. within 30mins drive from Primo Piazza, The Chocolate Factory, sunflower field, Midwinter Green, Chokchai farm, The Secret Art Garden. :)

Going beyond the excellent service from the DusitD2 team. 1) We were alerted on the power failure at the holiday days before we arrive the holiday. Notified and expecting the electricity to be up and running by 5pm but the electricity in the region was still disrupted. Fans and room light was still operating so we stayed for a night and enjoyed the good ambience without electronics (TV/Phone) and connect to the nature and chit chat for the night. 2) Was hungry at night and we visited the restaurant at 1030pm. Restaurant was closed but they manage to still wipe out a good meal just to satisfy our tummy. That's the extra mile they would go and really appreciate the actions from them. 3) The next day we decided not to continue with DusitD2 as we need electricity to charge our phones so we requested to move out. The manager of the hotel quickly booked a high end hotel (Free of charge) for us and placed us at Atta Lakeside Resort within 10mins. The room in DusitD2 is a perfect getaway for couple. Most of the tourist was put on a new resort/hotel due to the electricity outage so we had a quiet stay and enjoyed the mountain view in our 1 day with DusitD2 . Upon arriving at the La Casetta, the check-in was fast. My family and I were given glasses of juice which was refreshing. The hotel room was prepared for us in advance and we checked in quickly. On Christmas Day, the hotel surprised my family and I by placing a ginger bread man on each of our bed. For daily breakfast, we can either select western or traditional Thai. The western breakfast is located at the second level while the traditional breakfast is at the third level. I remembered both days we ordered omelette and it was one of the best that I have tasted!! So delicious!! Also, we tried both types of breakfast and the fish congee was so delicious! For photo taking, there are many excellent spots within the hotel surrounding to take! My family and I enjoyed the quietness and the fresh air early every morning. A great place for all sorts of travellers to enjoy the peacefulness and the natural beauty of this place!! Advisable to book this hotel early especially during peak seasons!

I would like to thank the whole staff at this resort who did not refuse any of our requests but also on top did all efforts to make our stay enjoyable. Make sure to have your own transportation to fully enjoy the surrounding and for your own convenience. We stayed during weekday so there was no lunch and dinner at hotel. But it was not an issue since we had a car. Hotel serves deliciously prepared ala carte breakfast. Beautiful landscape, really quiet and tranquil environment. This is one of those hotels/resorts where you must stay at least once in a lifetime. Outstanding service & attitude of staff deserves appreciation. Trust me i've stayed in many hotels all around the world as part of my job, Raintree Residence is one of the best.

I had no serious complaints about the resort. It is clean and beautiful, the staff is friendly and speaks a good amount of English. It is easy to get to by song taew (if you did not drive like we did.) and on the road to Khao Yai National Park. And it is right next to Palios, with lots of shops and restaurants. We recommend The Witches Brew, which is in the shopping center just past Palios. BUT, if you come without a car and want to get anywhere, you must either wait on the street for a passing song taew or pay expensive taxi fees from cars the hotel will get for you. We paid 300 baht for a five minute trip to The Chocolate Factory. The hotel doesn't have any cars or shuttles, not even to the National Park. Also, the buffet was okay, basically the same you'd find at any hotel in Thailand, but there were very little non-meat options (even the hash brown potatoes had ham in them), and the fruit salad and veggies in the salad bar were swarming with fruit flies. Simple covers on these dishes would solve this. The rooms are nice and clean, but the lighting in terrible. The rooms are very dark and the light in the bathroom is way too dim to see adequately to put on your make up. There is no fan in the bathroom, either. And, this is very minute, but if you have two people staying in a room, why would you put one towel in the bathroom and the other in the room? I discovered this when I got out of the shower and discovered there was no clean towel for me and my friend had to grab one from the rack in the bedroom. None of these things are so negative that I would not recommend this place to my friends. In fact, I would probably stay here again if I were in the area as it is very nicely located next to lots of shops and restaurants.

First time in Khao Yai and selected this hotel as I assumed the close proximity to the water themed park would provide some extra places to visit but later found out to be an incorrect assumption. Else, this is quite a nice hotel to stay in. Do prepared to secure your food properly as there are many insects especially after your shopping at the chocolate factory. I would recommend this hotel more for pple who self drive.

Lived up to it's name SPLENDID... we had to book this last minute due to the homestay we booked were far too small from expected. We had to call Splendid to check on the availability and to arrange for a taxi to pick us from Pak Chong. The staff was responsive and helpful to get us a taxi. The hotel rooms are clean, spacious and considered value for money for a last minute booking. This place is highly recommended as they are situated in the Khao Yai National Park area where it's near to Palio Inn, Primo Piazza, Mid-winter, The Bloom etc...

The room was so beautiful! It was nicely designed, with thoughtful touches that reminded me of Japan. The place is quiet, relaxing and the staff, Kat was extremely polite, welcoming and helpful. Our toilet was clogged but the staff came and fix it speedily within 10mins, afterwards the toilet worked just fine. We had an extremely good stay, the bed was clean, comfortable and the toilet was really spacious! Great stay, highly recommended. The location is also great, about 10mins drive to Primo Piazzo, the birders Lodge, Pete Maze and other attractions. The chocolate factory is right beside the hotel but we didn't visit it. I would recommend this place :)

This is new appartment, modern and clean. Location is near to Khao Yai National Park, about 10 minutes drive. Recommended to travelers who want to visit the National Park. Family Room is available for 4 to 6 people. The room was great, clean, look new. Breakfast is served in the room. The room rate is cheap. Kitchen set is provided, a balcony is also available. From the balcony you can enjoy great mountain view. The view is awesome!

Temp was 20deg when we were there. No difficulty looking for the hotel, we couldn't find the check in desk as it was actually inside the restaurant and had no signage. Staff spoke very little English but was glad to meet the owner who speaks perfect English and she was very helpful. She gave info to customers, direct them, even serve at the restaurant. Very humble lady. Breakfast was very good but only avail after 8am. we had 3 rooms for 9 of us and all with vineyard view. Rooms were big enough for an extra bed. I love the fresh smell of the towels and linen. Clean rooms. Been to Khaoyai several times but this hotel is the best of all.

We booked a night at Villa Malinee and totally fell in love with the place. The hotel isn't on the main road, but this isn't the case as everyone is driving here anyway. The road to the hotel might be quite dark after sunset so be cautious. There're only seven rooms with different names, locating amidst nice garden. The sunset view from the public balcony is breathtaking. The room isn't that spacious, but provided everything we need. Travellers with friends or families with kids will love this place as well. There's a pool to swim or simply take a dip. The garden is extremely nice and well maintained. If it's not raining, the breakfast will be served in the garden. The best things here are the staff and food. Everyone is so helpful and made us feel like home. Food is incredibly awesome. We tasted most of the menus available and we are agreed that the food here is probably the best in Khao Yai. We could even drive from Bangkok just to eat here. The restaurant is nicely decorated. Don't forget to ask if there're any special menu and desserts available on the day. The criossants here are one of the best too, great buttery layers with perfect crust. We would highly recommend this place to everyone if you are looking for a tranquil place to truly relax. This place is definitely our number 1 pick in Khao Yai.

We loved being so close to Khao Yai National Park. The landscaping of this hotel is stunningly beautiful with thousand of blooming orchids and begonias. A huge breakfast is served in the garden. Our room was spotless and the linens very luxurious. We spent our day on a safari into the national park and did not return until after dark when it was too chilly for a swim but the pool was large and lovely. There was very little English translation of information and the staff did not speak English. This resort is geared towards residents of Bangkok and I appreciated getting off the foreign tourist trail. This was a perfect, beautiful, romantic, quiet place to celebrate our 36th wedding anniversary.
