I decided to have a surprise staycation with hubby, since it's his birthday. So when i checked in, i was told the room was given a complimentary upgrade and to my surprise the room was also decorated with balloons,rose petals and many more. Then the frontdesk team also came and gave a birthday cake to my husband. The room is very comfortable, very big and spacious, love the bathroom! Breakfast was awesome, this is the best among all 5 star hotels i have been too. The service and hospitality given by staffs are also very nice and pleasant, maybe because we came with our 8months baby, she loves the attention and so do we. Locationwise, very perfect for shopping and 'kaki makan'. IT was a great short stay, thanks so much for the kind gesture and effort. I really do appreciate it and i can see that St Giles The Gardens is up to par with it's name and 5star ranking and standard. I am happy that my bosses are staying in a good hotel, good food, good room and good service. I have no negative comments except, pool which is need of a thorough cleaning. Thanks so much for everything. Really am happy and appreciate for all the effort.

there are good to stay, dine and shop. the hotel is just on top of the shopping mall. there have 2 class of shopping option, middle class and branded class. the branded class is at new wing (the garden). its very convinience arrived from airport and lrt railway station. very good to stay with friendly service from staffs.... you will surprise why they only been rate 3 star but give 4 star services. after, happily shopping, you may get eastern food, malay food, cafe, pizza, chinese food etc at ground floor or food court. it's best hotel to stay and suggested.

VE is a magnificent hotel. The front desk and restaurant staff are trained to perfection. Throughout my stay i was treated like a King. Reception was characterised by welcoming smiles and crisp efficiency....The restaurant imbued with warmth and superb service. My room was "as good as it gets". The housekeeping staff cleaned the room to the highest standard....it shone. it glittered. When i returned to the room it made me feel very satisfied. I adored the fitness centre. My daily treadmill walk afforded me the opportunity to listen to audio books and cast an eye over the attractive vista. I read a great deal in the sumptuous lobby and went on many walks around the hotel. The location is extremely pleasant, great for restaurants, coffee shops and professional services. When only the best will do i shall return to VE. IAN

One of the best hotels I've stayed in. Rooms are new, clean and comfortable. I came with my husband and son for a 1-night stay to attend my daughter's graduation from a pre-U program at UM. It is very convenient since it is so close to UM, less than 5 minutes away by car. We stayed in a Grand Deluxe King room which provides a large king size bed, a very comfortable one I may add. The only thing is we had to bring a mattress for my son to sleep on since the hotel does not have a family room for 3 people or more and we did not want to pay for an extra bed. A lot of choices for breakfast meal, you should allocate at least one hour so that you can taste everything - the meals I had was good except for the omellete which did not taste like normal, probably the cook had added too much spice on it or there's something not quite right with the ingredient; I couldn't figure it out but I did finish all of it since I like omellete so much. Staff was awesome, couldn't ask for a better treatment. Parking is free as well. I will definitely stay here again the next time I need to visit UM. I hope the hotel will consider upgrading some rooms to become family rooms or triple/quadruple rooms. Overall, BEST, BEST, BEST!!

Location is probably the only concern with no access to public transport but taxi is readily available and cheap in KL. Not quite in Bangsar area as indicated by the Booking Agent but only 10 minutes by car to Mid Valley if you want shopping. There's a modern shopping centre right next door with plenty of food choices and hotel breakfast is very good with reasonable variety to suit most. Room is spacious and clean with basic amenities, while no luxury but excellent value for money – good choice for commercial traveler, particularly if you are not working in the main city area. The best experience is the great hospitality extended by the hotel staff which certainly makes up any down-side of the offering.

I was in KL for a week to attend a 5 days programme at Connexion Conference & Exhibition Centre. I chose Nexus Regency over VE Hotel because of its price and when I checked it, the room was above my expectations. The room has almost everything that I need which includes safe, fridge, hairdryer, bedroom slippers, basic toiletries and even ironing equipment. Plus, if you are couple, the room has 1.5 bathrooms. The best part is that the room is very spacious and there is a work desk with enough power points for me to do my work and charge my devices. The only shortcomings are I can hear the sounds of the vehicles all day long and even at 4 am from my room even though my room is not facing the roads. Additionally, the hotel does renovation work pretty early in the morning, I can hear very loud drilling around 8-9am and even on a Sunday. Other than the noises, everything is very good and I will return again even though it is a 10-15 mins walk to Connexion Conference Centre.

For less than RM70 on promotion when I booked this place, it surprised me because the room was more spacious than I thought compared to other hotel rooms offering the same price. The room was well-lit and had it's own TV with basic Astro. There was even free breakfast until 11am. The only downside is that the hotel entrance is slightly hidden and hard to find. Besides that, this place has potential to be a 4-star hotel. Quite recommended.

For most of my stays with this price, i have never came across a hotel with such a luxurious interior with a 4 star service. It came as a surprise the moment i entered the lobby. As i booked this on Agoda, i didn't care too much of the pictures shown as i would usually suspect a catch with such price. The address of the location "Old Klang Road" made my impression before i even entered the place. However, much to my surprise, it felt like i've walked in to a random 4 star hotel in the middle of no where. To top it off, it was really really close to Midvalley. The rooms were above average for a "budget-priced" hotel and the facilities were enough for my needs. Though my room was windowless, it has it's own perks. I was very close to upgrading to the room with window but realised quickly how quiet my current room was and decided to stick with it. The staff were mostly young but friendly. The food is pretty much what you'll get in any standard local hawker food store but in a much more comfortable environment. The price is equally reasonable! Overall, the hotel offers more than what i have paid for and the value behind every Ringgit was well spent.

Mincott hotel exceeded my expectation. What surprised me the most was the check-in staff who was very professional, fast and I think he gave better service than some other 5-star hotel. The room was bigger than what I expected and it was clean, new and well kept. The only downside of this hotel is that it is located in a business complex area and the traffic might be a bit busy in the morning. Anyway the positive points of this hotel far outweight the negatives. A truly value for money hotel

Pros: Nice location. 2 restaurants near the hotel, one is just beside the hotel and another one is just about a couple steps away. LRT station is just within walking distance. Room is clean. Wifi connection is good. TV got fox movie channel unlike other budget hotel that usually serve ordinary tv channels. Cons: Some of the rooms are really narrow (difficult for muslim to perform solat). Shower head always fall off the holder when we use maximum water stream regardless of any room we stayed. Staffs should be trained to make guests feel welcomed.

The rooms are all designed differently and uniquely. This time we stayed in Capricorn. Even though the room is small, we felt comfortable. However, the shower is visible with no curtains, not recommended for family with kids or travelling friends. The good thing is that the toilet is in a separate covered cubicle for privacy. The thing I don't like about the hotel is that they are too rigid on the check out time. The front desk called twice to rush us to check out. They only gave us a 15mins allocation, after which, they will start charging. Normally other hotels allow late check out until 1pm FOC, especially on a week day. The best thing about this hotel is that it is located just opposite Midvalley Megamall, and there is a bus stop in front of the hotel, good for travelers without own transportation.

Camped at this lovely hotel for 3 nights (extended an extra night because the staff were so friendly!) Had an awesome stay. The staffs were so superbly friendly and pleasant. The 2 girls who works the late shift and the 2 guys who works the morning shift were always carrying a smile on their face and they were so polite and courteous. Location of this hotel is not hard to find. They is a 24 hour coffeeshop, 7-11 and some pubs just 2 minutes away. You don't need to worry about food. Safety looks okay when I was there, though I still wouldn't advise a solo girl to walk along the roads late at night. (in fact I wouldn't advise any girls to walk around alone in any part of Malaysia.) TWO MAJOR setbacks for this tiny heaven is that.. 1: The room is totally NOT soundproof. Anyone standing along the corridors WILL be able to hear what you say (or do) in your room. They don't even need to stand near your door. Yes.. I've tested it. LOL! 2: They don't do housekeeping. So if you're planning to stay a few nights, don't be alarmed if they don't knock on your door to change your sheets. You need to request for new towers and toilet rolls yourself. Water pressure's good. Toilet's clean. All in all, I will be back to Bjorn just for the staff~! Awesome staff, awesome stay!

The hotel is very nice due to the location that near by KL town. Staffs all very friendly and able to help us for most of the request, few nice restaurant around the hotel, a 24 hours hyper market is just under the hotel basement, food and stuffs are very cheap!! We got a clean and comfortable room. Taxi service is also available once we request from the frontdesk, the hotel staff book for us and they also bargain the cheaper taxi price for us! thanks to the staffs so we wont get the expensive taxi, booking with them got no extra charge! so good of them. So far we are very satisfied for the staying, will come again.

dont like the part where they allowed people smokes in the lobby. It spoils the image of the hotel when i first step in the hotel. I wonder all the people are the staff's friends or the hotel guests.. Others are ok, my request of having extra pillow, toilet papers and extend check out time are attended immediately and in polite way. For the price that i'm paying for, i'm satisfied with it.

1st day check in, room house keep in not done. Change to 2nd room, when bath no hot water. Starting actualy check in & out as not confirmed continue stay. 3rd room , consider ok, but, wifi can't connected. Change to 4th room continue few days, no water more than a day, when ask from front desk, feedback was , "I also don't know, what can I do? All is syabas problem..." Ask to contact management, at least give some feedback or solution. Didn't think of get refund to make staff hard, but what's the purpose to pay n check in but do nothing instead of sitting wait fr water. Can't bath, can't wash up, can't even flush after toilet. I did know it wasn't a fault from hotel, but at least give me some feed back or a sincerelity to cool me down, as I can't even make up myself to work. I even give suggestion to them to ask management , maybe half my price, or extend half day for me, at least we consumer get something fair back and get to bath and etc without asking check out faster or charged on late check out... Coincidence the time of water worked back was on 11am, but still in some dirty situation and working not smooth, when nearly normal, should nearly 12. I should check out without wash up or done myself but being charge for late? Counter woman even tell me what to do? If arrange some for u, others how? And out rate already very low... I don't think the rate was a reason or a point, u can take higher rate if u deserved it. Same as higher star hotel charge higher , when refund also refund more and attitude was the heading point as I think... Even asking a pail of water just to keep their toilet clean by manual even no water, also didn't make it after we put the pail front of room... Only the first pail after 3-4 call to reception... Shower in bath room can't get a stand as well. Hope improvement to be done and I will continue support and enjoy the effort of improvement from management team of My Home Hotel.
