Close to attractions incl. St Pauls, Museum of London, Tower of London, Thames and Millennium Bridge, Tate Modern Art Gallery and Globe Theatre. Good transport links. Plethora of restaurants, cafes and historic taverns. Staff friendly and efficient. Rooms well-equipped and quiet Will undoubtedly stay again on next visit to The City

It was very nice staying at this hotel because the room is very clean, bright and big. The Wifi is free and fast then I can whatsapp with my friends and family immediately though there is a iMac provided in the room. The hotel is close to the Tower Hill Tube station, just 4 minutes walk, the little van outside the Tube selling the hot dog is delicious. The Tower of ...

It is in a great location. Easy to walk to many parts of London or access places by bus or the underground. The staff were excellent! Very friendly and helpful, they went out of their way to assist me where possible. I booked a small room without a window which may seem weird but it was cosy, extremely clean and very modern. The room was fine for one person but would ...

We found this hotel to be modern and clean, with a touch of class and our room size was good. Staff all professional and friendly. Location we found great as we could walk to the Tower of London and The Shard. We went to the 02 and got the Thames Clipper so it was good not having to go on the tube. Would recommend this hotel and its location and we would re-visit.

We were at Z hotel for one night whilst attending a wedding in central London. We arrived the morning of the wedding and the front desk was good enough to upgrade us to a room that would allow us to check in early and freshen up before we headed out. The rooms themselves are in the Scandinavian theme of efficient use of space - there is still a well appointed space w...

We stayed for just 1 night (Saturday) so paid a premium for the pleasure (£106) for the time of booking this seemed a pretty average price in London. I wuld have given this place a full 5 stars for everything had we paid less. room was super cute and tiny but really well designed, Our door didn't lock but the staff were very helpful and gave us a normal key, they could...

I really enjoyed my stay. The location is great, close to all transport links and entertainment of Shoreditch area of London ( great for food, pubs, shopping, markets, vintage stores). I had no issues with the hotel and it was very efficiently run.

First time checking in hotel by yourself just using system and with little help of their ambassador. Room was clean, full entertainment controlled by ipad. Ipad also controls the temp, blind, and lighting. Big and comfy bed. Not to mention location is great. On a stone throw from Tower Hill Station and Tower of London. Walk 5 minutes and you already can find an array o...

London was the last leg of our UK tour. We didn't know what to expect when we booked Malmaison on Charterhouse but judging from the pictures, we thought it would be a nice end to our trip. When we got to the hotel and walked in, a cool vibe emanated from the hotel lobby - cool decor, nice funky house music playing at a comfortable volume. Check-in was fast and the r...

Excellent value Hotel for London...unique design, great location next to Liverpool station and walking distance to Tower of London and bridge. Prides itself on its service with genuine interest shown......received upgrade to large king room which was very good and complimentary mini bar provides a unique nice touch. Would stay there again.

It was very pleasant. With the availability and accessibility of little extras, it made it a very comfortable stay. Air con wasn't functioing properly, but that could have been that we just didnt know how to use it. Didn't eat in the hotel, so hence for the low rating. Asked for a high room when booking to ensure less noise from the busy street outside, not much noise ...

Andrew Perera at the Thistle saved the day: Agoda had been an absolute nightmare and I discovered the day before departure that only one room was booked, when two were paid for and confirmed. The customer service 'specialists' with Agoda were completely unhelpful. Fortunatly the hotel managed to step in and retrieve the situation and create some happy customers. Recep...

The hotel is in the Temple area which is a very old fashioned and quieter part of the City. Tube stations at Holborn and Temple are only a short distance away. On arrival we were greeted by very friendly staff on the front desk who got us booked in quickly. we were even given a free upgrade! The room itself is not huge, but had a small separate lounge area with a...

Pros - unlimited snacks included in the room, provision for sofa bed, very good toilet amenities, big rooms as compared to other London hotels (compared it with Holiday inn kensington forum), location is near tower of london, within walking distance. Very helpful and nice staff. Cleaning staff did a good job in cleaning our rooms and plenty of towels. Cons - breakfas...

The welcome was friendly, the room spotlessly clean and comfortable. The hotel itself is well positioned with a selection of bars and restaurants close by. Ideally located for the City of London, Barbican Centre, Museum of London, Tower of London, St Paul's Cathedral and it's only a stroll over London Bridge to Borough Market with access to the South Bank, as well ...

One of the best hotels in London! I’ve been to London 8 times and this trip may have been my favourite due to The Curtain. Modern, clean, professional, this hotel exceeded my expectations. I stayed in a room with two beds with my friend and we both thought the room was a good size. Beds were so comfy!! I give this property a 10/10.

The hotel is located on Strand, next to the Waterloo bridge. This is a hotel for people who want a place to sleep and browse in the city instead of expecting a luxury accommodation to enjoy staying in. As soon as you walk down the street, you ca find yourself navigate to London city without trouble. The closest subway is Temple but Covent Garden is also just 5 min...

Travel from the Heathrow airport to the hotel takes about 1 hour by tube with 1 change. The hotel is just next to the tube station (Towerhill). When you get out from tube station, the hotel is very very easy to find. Hotel staff is very nice. I arrived London in the morning flight, arrived hotel about 10am. I and my friends were tired from travelling. We were not be ...

The location was perfect and in walking distance of Tower of London and Tower Bridge. Plenty of coffee shops and places to eat around. Also a lot of different subway stations around. The hotel has a cute design and the rooms are small but very clean and nice.

Booked this in a rush an hour before I flew to London, no reviews and only realised it was student accommodation when we got there.Saying that the accommodation is of decent quality and as always in London it was a place to sleep only.. Bed was only 3/4 size and no TV but apart from that it was fine. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Two minutes walk to The River Thames. The building has low profile design and architecture . Love it’s privacy and interior design. Staff is warm and friendly . Room service is on time with international menu. Afternoon tea and drink are good . We will definitely return to stay !

From our years of experience travelling and staying in luxury hotels all over the world, I have to say that the team at South Place Hotel definitely provides the best service we've experienced by far! From the moment we stepped into the hotel, Natalia, the front desk staff who checked us in was very friendly and made our 4-year old daughter feel like a star. When was t...

This is my first aparthotel while visiting London and it was a good stay. The building is located on Rosebery Avenue and has shops and supermarket nearby. The room was modern, most comfortable and clean. Everything looked new - bathroom and mini kitchenette worked fine. There is a bus stop just 2 mins walk from the building which takes you into central London, which ...

we stayed at threadneedles for a weekend away with another couple in london. the hotel itself is very high quality, and the lobby, bar and rooms are all furnished to a very high standard, better than some other 5* london hotels. the location of the hotel is good, close to bank tube, although the city financial district is very quiet over the weekend with very few of th...
