Hotels near Tropicana City Mall

I frequently stayed here for one or two times a month for my work assignments. It is a very clean hotel and it has friendly helpful staff. This hotel is easy walking and driving distance to shops, great restaurants and parks. This hotel is also walking and driving distance to One-Utama Shopping Mall, the Curve Shopping Mall and Tropicana City Shopping Mall for dining and shopping activities during the night. It is very strategically located and its room’s pricing is really competitive given its accessible location in the middle of Klang Valley. I will definitely be staying here again.

The huge room is certainly well worth the money that i paid for the room. Paranomic view of the city from the balcony. 2 separated rooms within the suite which is the best deal for my family of four, each room comes with own TV. Toilet was huge and comes with a bath tub. Only downside is to pay the parking fee which is not free. Is not as grand as the sister hotel at the other corner, however it is nearer to the major malls and kidzania. As it is near Hari Raya, the small lobby is a little crowded with diners though and thus lift is also a little jam up. Our room door need a little maintenace as it is quite hard to open, as well the lift access card is not very sensitive. Nevertheless, a real thumbs up and will certainly come again. No regrets :)

The hotel is about an hour from the airport and about 20minutes from the city centre. The hotel is very impressive and has some grand features. Rooms are large and very clean. They are also extremely quiet, no hearing others closing doors or walking past your room. We booked two rooms one with a poolview and the other with the city view. If staying in the pool you can see into other rooms so keep the curtains drawn. The city view is completely private. The curtains are totally blackout which is great for sleeping in. Breakfast is a buffett style with everything you could possibly want, covering Asian, Malay and Western cuisine. The pool is clean and not busy at all, which is awesome. The hotel its self is connected to a mall with an ice staking ring and a strech of fabulous and cheap restaurants. Staff are very friendly and speak English so there is no miscommunication. We would definitely stay here again.

Wasnt sure if it was a good idea to have a one night stay here since there's more other hotel however for those who appreciate french style, cleanliness and quality service than this would be the place. Located across Damansara City Mall (walking distance) you can even go down the mall to have meals and beers. Also BENs grocer located UG of Damansara City Mall. Happy staying here.

Initially my plan was staying in Damansara Perdana for 1 night but due to extended meeting, I had to book 1 more night. First night went ok. This hotel is definitely value for money. However on second night, my room was condition was poor. I was too tired to request for room change so I've informed the front desk when I was checking out next day morning and showed pictures I've taken from the room. Kohleen, very friendly and polite young lady immediately and sincerely apologized to me. She told me she will inform her manager and get back to me. Within an hour, I've got a call from Kohleen apologizing again. She has informed me I'll get complimentary room upon reservation. I've also got a text message from manager Chong who also apologized sincerely. I had to stay one more night for meeting so I have booked through Manhattan again. When I was checking in, the front desk guy (whom I haven't met before) also apologized for what happened. Clearly, they left note for my reservation and let all staff know about this. I'm not a fuss person when it comes to accommodation so I have stayed guest house to 5star hotels. Manhattan has the most proactive staff I've ever experienced (even if I compare to 5 star hotel in kl city) and all are professional. You don't expect this professionalism from budget-business hotel. Business travelers do not want to face issues with hotels after long meetings usually but they clearly know how to deal with problems and understand the meaning of customer service. I really think they can call themselves Manhattan "business" hotel.

uptown is famous for being a food heaven, and with a new mall there Starling Mall, there's even more reason to frequent this place. There are 2 sovotel boutique hotels here, mine is Sovotel 101, located behind the corner starbucks and Chilli Pan Mee shop. The other one is Sovotel 36 - facing LDP highway. Do take note while making your booking :) My room is clean, facilities are good and hot water shower working fine. Bed is also comfy and drinking water is provided. You can borrow a hairdryer from the front counter is needed. With the money Im paying, im very satisfied with the service I received. One complain, there seems to be a renovation ongoing next door. It was a Sunday, yet at 9am I could hear drilling and hammering right next to my room wall on the ground floor. It went on for 2 hours and stop slightly before lunch time.

Located strategically near most of the major Damansara malls, Hotel even provides breakfast for guests. Elevator is also available for those who need it. Security door is available at every floor which is very good for those concern on security. Downside is the bathroom which angles down into the room so you have to be careful the water does not flow into the room towards the bed so put a towel outside the toilet just in case. Water dispenser on 1st floor was also not working but kettle is provided in the room.

Basic room is really suit for solo traveller. Although it is not public transport convenient, the hotel is surrounded by a lot of cafes and even there is a shopping mall behind the hotel. Just a walking distance you can go to the family mart, nearby have 7-11 stores. 5 mins drive to the Tropicana Mall and 1 utama. The staffs are polite and good service. For those who drives, it maybe not that convenient because the parking lot is really less. Overall the hotel is okay to stay and the price is reasonable!

must say this was a first for me and am impressed with the hotel. it's small, the rooms and general area but just that it is clean and has a nice vibe about it! i am a business traveller with simple needs. clean room, comfortable bed, hot water and a need to be in close proximity to my meeting venues. all the boxes are checked on this so ..... what can i say .... if i an getting my targeted client, then i'll be coming by a few more times in the near future. plus side is that just below the hotel, literally next door, are some really good local eats. starbucks is around the corner and tropicana city mall just 8 minutes away by foot.

I feels this hotel has been terribly under rated by previous customer.i stays here for 5 days during my training at centrepoint.its 15 minutes walk through kg kayu ara,not much of a walking pavement but still possible to walk.for a very good price i get: -a clean room -chill aircond -hot shower -local tv -breakfast/dinner stall at back of hotel -hotel can serve heat up instant food at lobby -taxi available at petronas 3 minutes walk from hotel -free parking at hotel area(its a workshop shoplots) -15minutes walk to centrepoint

I initially booked three nights. When I arrived they gave me a free upgrade to a room with a double bed and when I extended another four nights they kept me in that room for the same price. The wifi was usually good, the room was cleaned impeccably every day, and it was very quiet except for Saturday night. My only quibble is that the blanket smelled like cigarette smoke but in this price range I almost expect that. It's very near many good restaurants and is easy walking distance to Tropicana Mall. I'd stay there again. I never needed anything from the staff but were cool.

The hotel is clean and well managed. The room and the bathroom are clean, enough for a short visit. The staff are friendly and amiable. They do provide hot and tepid water dispensers on every floor. The iron and ironing boards are shared per floor so if you need to iron a lot of clothes, bring your own. Don't expect to watch good content on TV because they only have off-the-air broadcast and not receiving good signal either. Also, as of April 29th 2017, there is no spa. It has been closed down.

Stayed 2 nights at family room, clean beds and bathroom, price is cheapest among all hotel, simple but good breakfast with fried mihun, nasi lemak, and etc. Car Park is ok for weekend and no need any coupon. Location is good just in front of new The Starling Mall, nearby Tropicana City Mall, 1 Utama, Paradigm Mall. The only negative point is this is walk up budget hotel, it is abit inconvenience for senior citizen and those who carrying luggages, also the water heater was installed too high, those who less than 155cm couldnt manage to touch it. Conclusion, I will rate it 8.5/10, and definitely come again.
