"I stayed there with my parents, sister and nephew for 3 nights. We opted for an airport hotel because my family went to HK ahead of me. It was convenient for us to be just around the airport vicinity because we arrive/leave on different dates. We felt no pressure in enjoying the hotel's amenities (gym/pool) every morning because there is a free shuttle to the Outlets at Tung Chung. If you miss the shuttle to Tung Chung, the S1 bus that pass every 10 minutes across the hotel can be an alternative, for only HKD 3.5 per adult. We also did not avail of the hotel breakfast because McDonalds is just at the HK Airport arrival area, which is a bridge away from the hotel. Fruits are also free if you use their sauna/pool/gym. Among the hotel staff, we were very much impressed with Ambassador William. He was very approachable, gracious and respectful. We received the "five-star" service from him. "

"3 of us book just 1 night at this hotel but thought we should book more nights after the stay. We left from Yau Ma Tei and check in to hotel around 11am, staff was very polite and let us check-in early. We were told we could get higher floor if we check-in late but since they got a room at 6th floor then we just took it. The view was tremendous, overlooking the Ngong Ping cable car, Tung Chung MTR, airport and the sea. The room was very spaceous as compare to Kowloon's hotel, there was a working desk, mini bar, iron & board, safe, and everything else. They even make a small bench along the window edges for you to sit and enjoy the view. My son loved sitting there and admire the view. We travel to Disneyland after check in on the MTR which took us around 20mins. No breakfast for us so no comment on their restaurant. It was raining heavily next morning and we wanted to take the cable car but service was delay due to lighting. So we go shopping at the Citygate outlet. Before that, we asked for late check out and they offered us till 2pm. Anyway we check out at 12pm since the cable care resumed after the rain stops. We placed our luggages at the lobby. We returned at 5pm since our flight was at 6.45pm. The hotel also provide free shuttle bus to the airport every 15mins. The trip to airport just took less than 10mins. A very value for money stay."

"Stayed at this hotel mainly because we were focusing on visiting Disneyland HK, savoring the famous local cuisines and travelling to Okinawa from HK for our main holiday destination so this hotel is ideal for us. We did not have intention to visit the local market streets so this hotel may not be that suitable if it an intention of yours. After dropping off the luggage, we were free to roam around and the shuttle services to the Tung Chung MTR station allowed us to move around pretty easily and swiftly. The Tung Chung MTR Station is actually just next to the Citygate Outlet Mall where there are ample branded shopping and food outlets available so we were kept occupied throughout. However, it will be even more ideal if the last shuttle bus service returning back to Marriot Skycity from Tung Chung MTR could be at 10.30pm instead of 10.00pm as it will facilitate the mall shoppers to perhaps enjoy a short cafe break after all the shopping has ended. Loved the free shuttle service to Disneyland HK too. Overall, my family had a great stay with HK Marriot SkyCity and the staff's service was superb. Thumbs up!"

"My friend and I stayed for 2 nights at the executive ocean view to celebrate my friend’s birthday. I appreciate the hotel’s gesture in providing a nice little cake and a handwritten birthday message for her. We had cocktails provided at the executive lounge at 5pm for the 2 days we were there. The spread small but decent. Unfortunately, there was’t much for vegetarians aside from some pastries/deserts and salad. Some buns/bread would have been good. On day 2, there were vegetarian springs rolls offered. The first day, we spotted an issue with one of the deserts and promptly informed a staff member and Alex who attended to the matter promptly and professionally. The breakfast has a much wider spread and was generally quite good. There was a better variety for vegetarians. The staff and waitresses were attentive and pleasant. We were surprised when our room was not cleaned in the morning the next day - it may be due to an oversight of the cleaning staff as the ‘Do not disturb’ sign was switched on in the afternoon. In any event, we called housekeeping and a very pleasant Ching came to help with the change of towels, to clear the rubbish etc. Kudos to Ching for helping out cheerfully. My friend had the use of the meeting room for the 2 was there and found it quiet etc; internet connection was good."

"When I arrived at the hotel, we were greeted by the owner, and he brought us in, and offered us a drink. He gave us recommendations on places to see and eat, and gave us maps and details on how to best get there. The bedroom had 3 large windows, and stunning views. The rooftop terrace also had amazing views, and nicely appointed furniture. Bring food and drinks, as this place is special. The bedroom was very clean, and newly renovated and nicely docorated. I would stay here again if I were to go back to Lantau Island. In fact, I may go back to Lantau Island to spend more time on that rooftop. Very pleasant, and great value! "
