"The hotel is extremely close to TWTC and TICC, the main venue for Computex, the international computer trade show. Breakfast wasn't diverse as the same menu was done everyday. A little bit of diversity would have helped. Nonetheless, the rooms are quiet, the internet connection is blazing fast (wired) and it is in walking distance to the MRT and several convention halls including Taipei 101. I would love to stay here again! "

"I came across this hotel by chance as a last-minute booking for one night. The room is spacious and nicely decorated as shown in pictures. The best is having a private bathroom which is rare for the price paid. I then needed to extend my stay at the very last minute for few more days but found the place was fully booked. The staff, Yvonne and Calvin, then helped me to sort this out and saved me the trouble to look for other accommodation. Another great thing about this property is location. It takes only 5 -10 minutes to walk to Taipei 101 or the night market nearby. There are also lots of local eateries in the alley opposite to the hotel that offer great local food and coffee. I also recommend the pizzeria Bianco opposite to the hotel which makes amazing pizza and pasta like in Italy! A couple of suggestions for the property would be to place a guest fridge in the common area and perhaps a rack or a shelf above the sink in the bathroom to put toiletries. "

"I booked this hotel near Taipei 101 as I have a wedding at the World Trade Center. The hotel is conveniently located near a MRT stop. The location is great. The hotel is actually B1 meaning, its one level below the street level. I warn you that this location is hard to find. The parking is to make a right turn immediately after you pass the hotel and you go underground. The parking lot is small and difficult to navigate. The staff is the most professional and friendly staff available. They were very helpful to my needs. We have a wedding the next day and we needed to do the make up in the room. The hotel staff provided us with all the chairs and set up they can. The room is decorated well and there is ample space in the window room. I ordered the most expensive room and the window room is worth the extra money. The view isnt amazing, but the natural light is worth it. The one part is that the other reviewers were right about this hotel on the noise. It is really noisy. There is a club nearby and you can hear the base of the boombox until 2am. Its blasting non stop from 10-2am. Then, the chatter nextdoor was quite loud too. I think they were having a party next door. I admit that i was jetlagged and i was way too tired to care. Yet, I can still hear the music. However, the hotel is quite nicely decorated and the dining area is quite amazing. The elevator to the hotel is small, and it did breakdown on us. I would say this is a missed opportunity to make this hotel a true five star resort. If the owners resolve the noise complaints, this hotel is truly a steal!"

If you get lucky there's a love hotel on the way. The free bread and sausages for breakfast are nice but kinda waste since I woke up for it only twice from 5 nights stay LOLw."

"Grand Hyatt is a very famous 5 star hotel with great location in Taipei. Taipei 101 is connected on 2nd floor to hotel, really a good choice on rainy season. Stay for 4 nights and got the 18th floor. It was a nice and quiet room like we required. Although i got bug's bite problem on the 3rd day but the rooms service can manage it nice and quick so im thankfull for them. Breakfast was great but the staff do really need to handle guest with polite and care especially with guest that doesn't spoke chinese/mandarin. It's an expensive hotel compare to services but overall it's a best choice to stay."

"My first time in Taiwan in a long long while, and my friend who sponsored the trip booked the hotel. Knowing him to be frugal, I thought he had booked us into a pension house, so I was grumbling all the way to Taipei. I was pleasantly surprised. It was a grand hotel, after all. The room was fantastic: great bed and beddings, hi-tech amenities (power curtain, power sunshade and centralized room controls) and a top-of-th-line bidet that not only cleans, dries and deodorizes, but has certain settings that pleasantly tickles your butthole, making you linger more than usual on the toilet bowl. The location is primo, walking distance to shops for top international brands as well as Taipei 101. Staff is very friendly, solicitous even, and elevator has security features. Great city view from the window, and buffet breakfast is above par. I give it a two thumbs up. YEAH BA!!"

"Location - great. In between two MRT stations, and bus station, walling distance to Taipei 101 and Exhibition center. Staff - friendly and accommodating. Breakfast spread - good variety. Room - The first room they had booked us stank of cigarette smoke. We had booked a non smoking room, but the first room stank of cigarette smoke. That was on 17th floor. The carpet on corridor was stained and dirty, the room though stank of cigarette smoke, was large and clean had a good view and able to open window to balcony. After immediate feedback, the staff apologized and moved us to a newly renovated room on 12th floor. The new room was clean, with no stains etc. But the window to the balcony was locked for safety .This was because it lead to the roof top of the 12th floor, that is shared with several offices. The sink, shower and toilet were not located in a closed off bathroom, like most smaller hotels in taipei. There are doors of course. So privacy is compromised a little. The laundry room was adequate"
