Find hotels in Universal Orlando

I do a lot of traveling throughout the year and many hotels have been pleasant; Rosen Centre, however, stood out. Everything from the front desk to the cleaning crew, everyone was excellent. First impression is everything - I was greeted with a friendly face at the front desk and she didn’t hesitate to accommodate me with my requests. Rosen Centre is conveniently located next to the convention center and only a mile from ICON and a 15-minute Uber ride to Universal Studios. The hotel itself is very clean, it offered variety of restaurants and bars that open late for night owl like me. The is comfortable and they are generous with pillows. I will definitely stay at Rosen Centre again next time I visit Orlando.

Location, location and best value for Orlando. Has no resort fees, free parking and great internet. I come to play golf in Orlando and when I stay at any Rosen properties I have the best value for my money because there is no hidden fees, easy access to any area, the bathrooms are the cleanest of any older properties I stayed in. Their maintenance property manager is top notch. The only thing that they could do better is update and have brighter colors instead of drab brown colors. It would make the rooms brighter and bigger. By far, they are the cleanest bathrooms and water pressure on all floors are great.

We enjoyed our stay at the Doubletree Hotel Orlando Universal At the Entrance. Upon arrival, we requested for early check-in and a room was immediately given to us. Warm & yummy chocolate chip cookies were also given to us upon check-in. Love the free shuttle to the Universal Studios - Island of Adventures & Universal Studios - Florida. It was a 15 min walk away if the shuttle bus was missed. There was also Walgreens and several restaurants located near to the hotel. I would recommend changing hotels (e.g those nearer to Disney) when planning days to Disneyland. This is so as to not miss the firework shows and other shows which are usually shown towards the later part of the evening (9pm).

My family and I stayed at Rosen Inn Universal for 2 weeks and 2 wonderful weeks they were. Our room was homely and our housekeeper, Melinise, was very friendly. She ensured that we got everything that we needed to make our stay a comfortable one. The hotel is conveniently located on I-drive close to just about EVERYTHING! Hotel staff was awesome! Carlos, who checked us in, Viviana and the other Front Desk staff are just the best! Extremely welcoming, polite and accommodating. Restaurants were a little expensive so, we bought and stored food in our room refrigerator. The I-Ride trolley is a convenient way to move around so, we got unlimited I-Ride tickets for the duration of our stay. There is so much to see and do, 2 weeks was just not enough. Rosen Inn universal is now my home whenever I am in Orlando. We will definitely be going back and this time, we will be bringing friends! Thanks to the staff at Rosen Inn Universal for making our stay a memorable one!

The hotel is very near Universal Orlando. It had free shuttle to the theme parks already from early in the morning (7.30 if I remember right , on time for park opening at 9am). They also offered other time schedules to and from the parks. . Other hotels in the area offered free shuttles but we found out they were always only one scheduled shuttle to the park at 11 am and pick up from park at 6 pm (park closes 9 or 10pm) which were not practical. Checking in was easy with friendly helpful staff. Checking out was fast. We only had to leave our keys in the room after receiving the invoice the night before.Parking is free around the hotel, where almost always you'll find a nearby doorway in to the hotel. The well maintained pool with lounge, 2 jacussis , hammocks, free pool towels and fitness center all added to a refreshing holiday. Breakfast buffet (with fee ) had both cold and warm food (omelets ordered from cook), beverages, sweets, fruits, cereals, yogurt, etc. Our room was always properly cleaned and had ample toiletries, microfridge and coffee maker.Truly an excellent hotel.

The staff was very friendly and eagerly responded to my request for an extra towel and a soap when I telephoned the front desk. One elevator was not working as it apparently is being replaced, but didn’t have an impact on our ability to access the fourth floor. The free coffee in lobby was excellent, although we didn’t have breakfast we were offered coffee. The proximity to Universal is a big plus!

The state of the hotel rooms are in terrible state our first room was room number 340 which had the bath all broken the bathroom state was terrible and we had cockroachs everywhere in the room, we complained and gave us another room 242 the state of the room was the same, very disappointing as well the hotel doesn't have any elevator how we had a young daughter which we had to carry the pushchair up and down the stairs everytime we go out very disappointed with the hotel Thanks Alan Bonnici

Though the hotel is little away from busy location. you can catch I-Ride buses available every 30 min just in front of hotel till 10.00 pm. you will see all attractions. cheapest way is grab a 3 days or 5 days or 7 days pass instead daily passes. Breakfast is good I got bored of having same breakfast for 8 days :( Very helpful front desk and tour guide. a little drawback is that the aircon makes noise. KFC, MCDonalds just 5-7 min walk.

The hotel was ok. The room never really got cold enough for me even though I had the air on 60 at times. It just froze. There was an issue with the shower ( partly my fault) I booked a room with a roll in shower. The problem was that it would flood the bathroom and in the room and I had to use the towels to clean it up. Well the second day it reach the carpet in the room the carpet was soaked and even wet the comforter that was partially on the floor, called front desk was told it was to late at night to change rooms call in the morning but we did get another comforter. In the a.m. asked for another room could not change and the carpet started to sour no one ever did anything about the water. Other than that the hotel was fine. Breakfast was good, coffee was great!

The price is including free ride to Universal Orlando. The air condition unit was a little bit too loud. Public taxi are very rare. Need to call if required. The hotel has car that can be hired as taxi. It cost about twice the taxi, but the driver are friendly and sent us directly to the target place. It is a low cost hotel, where there no bell boy to help, but it has all the equipment to carry all your lugage by yourself. It has small shop, car rental agent, ticket for Universal studio. The business center is expensive. 0.25 USD for 1 minute internet and 0.75 USD for every page of printing. The bed are clean and comfortable.

The room we stayed in were big with two double beds, got it at a very cheap rate although there were only 2 of us. Downside--First room we checked in, there was a cockroach in the room!Glad that we got our room changed immediately and we got complimentary breakfast for a day. However, the hotel should be more careful on the cleanliness of the rooms. Besides, the carpet stinks. Shuttle to the Universal is quite limited. The earliest runs at 8:25AM but time will be wasted because the shuttle goes to few other different hotels for pick ups. We paid about $8 for taxi instead which is quite worth it for the time would've wasted if we took the shuttle. Upside--The hotel is centrally located near International Drive. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping areas. 5 minutes car ride to Universal and Orlando Premium Outlets. Huge rooms that are suitable for families. Nice Tiki bar and swimming pool. Lastly, would definitely come back again and hopefully by then there won't be any cockroach in the room! :)

the hotel is located near universal on one of the side roads off international drive. walking distance to the shops and restaurants. quiet and plenty of parking space. our room was on the first floor with a view of the lake located in the back of the hotel. a couple of chairs right outside the patio to enjoy a few drinks and the view of the wet and wild theme park across the lake. the bed was a little hard but the room was big. had a small refrigerator enough for a few snacks and drinks. free continental breakfast but full breakfast available for a fee. small mini mart located on the premises. overall, not bad for the price and location.

Overall a nice stay at this hotel. Check-in and out was alright. Didn't use any facilities as we spent most of the time in Universal Studios. Initially booked this hotel for the close location and free shuttle bus to Universal, but we ended up not using it and took Lyft instead (about $6-8 per ride). I believe the hotel is newly refurbished, hence the room is clean, bright and comfortable. Breakfast selection is surprisingly nice with good selection of eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, fruits and oat porridge. However, I'm really NOT IMPRESSED with all the styrofoam plates and plastics utensils used! Eeks! It's so not environment friendly and I really wish they can change this.

We stayed here for 5 nights and had a great experience. Staff were quite helpful with the early morning 1am check in. Room was very clean and was tidied up every morning. 5 min drive from Universal and plenty of parking onsite. Breakfast was great with hot and cold meals. If anyone was wondering what the hot and cold meals were, during our stay, there were Scrambled eggs, turkey fillets, waffle machine, oatmeal, selection of breads and variety of spreads. Fruits, good selection of yogurts. Gym lacks equipment compared to lot of other locations, but wasnt a big issue. Onsite coin operated laundry. Overall we were very happy with the stay. We spent 5 nights at The Point Hotel and Suites in a one bedroom suite. It was very clean, our room was serviced daily and convenient to Universal Theme Parks! We stopped for Groceries before getting to the hotel, which made for a smooth, easy and enjoyable Full Kitchen Suite experience! Allowing us the convenience of eating, snacking when we wanted and enjoying every moment of our experience in Orlando! The shuttle service to Universal was on time and although you are within walking distance to the Universal Parks, this service was welcoming at the end of each day at the park, when your tired of and just want to get back to the Hotel to relax. The Point staff were welcoming, happy and always greeted us with a smile and "how was your day"! Thank you for a enjoyable and stress free stay!

The staff was friendly; however, it is not mentioned anywhere that we have to pay $9 per night extra fees for the pool, breakfast and shuttle. Moreover, the shuttle is not convenient as we arrive to the attractions very late while it stops very early. We had to leave universal studios early one hour early while we arrived at 11:00am in the morning. Furthermore, for Disney we arrived at 9:00am and the last shuttle was at 9:15pm while the firework show starts at 10pm, so we had to pay for an Uber around $22. The hallway was not clean, and there was water all the time which did not dry at anytime. They oblige you to sign a paper before check in says that they are not responsible for any loss or damage personal belongings. That includes belongings in the room when the room service comes to clean. If they do not trust their crew, I will not trust them. That left me only one option, to leave the room for 3 days without cleaning; it was OK, but for longer stay, will be impossible. The WiFi is very fast, the room is large and they have microwave and mini bar fridge. Their customer service is amazing... and the staff as well. If you are Ok with all of the above points, I do recommend it for you.
