"I've stayed here for the second time, which says something about the value and affordability for a backpacker. Beds can be awkwardly positioned (there was one which was near the entrance to the room door and it kept getting bumped every time someone opens the door), but overall the cleanliness of the rooms and toilets are fine. Alcohol sanitiser is provided in every toilet cubicle which provides peace of mind for those fussy about dirty toilet seats. The location is not too bad, near the Leidseplein bar area and the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh museum. There's an area right out the main door for bicycle parking. It's probably going to be the cheapest accommodation you're going to find that's near the city centre. While it's not too near the main train station or the metro, you can easily reach by tram no. 2 from Amsterdam Centraal."
