A good find for a final overnight stay in Singapore before heading home to Melbourne. Whilst the drop-off/pick-up point can be tricky for cabbies and Uber drivers alike, the location itself is walking distance from many great spots such as Bugis malls, the Albert Street Food Centre, and (at night) CHIJMES and Marina Bay. The wine bar downstairs has an impressive wine and cheese list - one which we would have liked to explore further if we had the time! We stayed in a Great King Room which cleverly used smaller space (my partner and I did only share one large suitcase between us and no cabin luggage). A reliable WiFi connection came in handy along with a smartphone that you can take around town with unlimited data and free local calls. Staff also let us store luggage post-check out (which is at noon). A great experience all around!

Good priced, comfortable and conveniently located hotel in Bencoolen Street, near Bras Basah Road. Short walking distance to excellent outdoor hawker food court (Albert Food Centre) with fantastic local Singaporean food. The hawker food court is close to Bugis shopping centre and MRT line. The staff were helpful and the hotel and rooms are new. The bathroom was small but efficient. The Wi-Fi worked well. Breakfast is available in the Gloria Jean Coffee next to reception but much better value and more options outside the hotel. Local Singaporean breakfast is available at the hawker centre [but no aircon there] or Food Republic on corner of Bras Basah Road [with aircon]. Bencoolen MRT station is across the road from the hotel and Bras Basah MRT station is around the corner. I would stay here again.

This hotel is close to various local attractions. Just a short walk from the hotel you will be able to visit a Chinese Temple, a Muslim Mosque, Catholic Church, a gallery and shopping malls and food centres. The best is it's location to the MRT Station. It is literally in from of the hotel. For electronic buffs, a short walk from this hotel you will be able to shop for electronic products to your heart's content. The good thing about this hotel is that it is not in the tourist belt and so prices for food and other stuff are reasonable priced. The Family Room is spacious for a family of 4 or 5 and the hotel is generally clean. Staff is courteous and there is also parking in the basement. All in, a value for money hotel for families.

very easy to find this hotel. Only 5-7 mins walking from MRT Bugis Station. After coming up from EXIT C of MRT Bugis Station, You will see the Bugis Junction department store. It will be a lot easier if you do not enter the store but walk along the outside passway on your right. When you reach Victoria street at traffic lights, look across you will see a local indoor shopping street calked Bugis Street :the largest shopping street in singapore. Then you go across the street before you and the walk through this shopping archade (there are goids like souvenirs, clothes, fruit juice and watches) untill you reach the end. then you will find another small street called Queen street. In front of you is Albert Centre, a local food court in yellow building. You go across Queen street and walk to your left until you see the sign "Bencoolen street" turn right and walk along this very small street (be careful of passing cars). Walk pass a yard in front of Kwan Im temple on your left. walk on another block. When you see a small junction with sign " Bencoolen link" just turn left, you will reach the back of Ibis Hotel Bencoolen.

Booked a King bedroom for 2 nights and absolutely enjoyed the stay. Room is spacious and clean, and comes with great view of the hotel's vicinity. Love that the material used for the design of the hotel corridors and room is mainly wood, which gives off a very comfortable feeling. Hotel lobby is located at level 25, and while the desk counters are not very prominent, the staff are very efficient and helpful in providing any assistance. Breakfast spread is tasty, and the gym is well equipped too! Superb location that is linked to Bugis MRT and shopping malls as well. Overall one of the best staycations I've ever had in Singapore. Will definitely come back again!

We enjoyed the loft room a lot, inside the room bottled water and clean towels are provided. The rooftop garden has a very chill and relaxing ambiance, the pool is great too with Jacuzzi, yet it is preferred to have warmer water. There is a big mall and some hawkers centre located adjacent to the hotel, with Bencoolen and Bugis station within walking distance. One of our favourite restaurants Ya Kun is also located within a few minutes walk. We also enjoyed our time visiting the National Design Centre opposite the hotel, and we could quickly get back to rest after leaving the Centre at 11pm. We left our room at noon the second day, and there was no cleaning service provided on that day even though we turned off the do not disturb button. Except that, we really enjoyed our time in Mercure.

The room was spacious, bed sheets were comfy and clean! The room and bathroom is well conditioned and stylish. Hotel lobby was impressive and cool. We really enjoyed the extra facilities on 5th floor, gym and also the swimming pool at the rooftop. The location is excellent near several bus stops and MRT lines. Walking distance of minutes to Bugis and nearby food courts such as Albert food centre and Food republic! The area outside hotel is peaceful and quiet but scenic. Impressive hotel

I chose this hotel because it's located very close to the National Stadium (the venue for Maroon 5 tour). My flight was a bit early and I was told that the check-in time at the hotel is at 3pm. I went there and I can get into the room at 11.15am. Great gesture by the hotel and staff!! Very efficient check-in procedure, clean and quiet room, and the hotel itself is pretty accessible. Close to Bugis area and the food centre is a plus. However, there were no staff offering to order taxi when I checking out. Could be better service next time. Plus: location, cleanliness, cool rooftop swimming pool, food centre nearby. Minus: nothing to be concerned

This is my regular hotel in Singapore. The hotel is very well located, with 4 MRT stations and numerous bus stops very close, giving many public transport options. Many top attractions are accessible by public transport or on foot. A huge range of eating choices is within a short walk in any direction. The rooms are large, and are pleasantly fitted out, with very comfortable beds, easy chair, tea and coffee maker, mini refrigerator, and iron and ironing board. There's a guest self-serve laundry - really convenient for longer stays or families with children. I prefer the rooms facing Victoria Street for views. These rooms have two layers of glazing, so no street noise is heard. Staff are excellent and very helpful. The hotel has a pool and work-out room, and there are also very attractive jogging and walking trails at Fort Canning Park and Esplanade Park, not far from the hotel.

This is not a 5* hotel so one should not compare. I had a great stay as always. The receptionists may not smile much, but they are friendly n check-in is a breeze! The standard rooms are not very small or cramp, in fact, is a reasonable size. They provide almost all the basic necessities, except for toothbrush & toothpaste n a mini bar/fridge - Standard room. But the rates are worth it despite its an old hotel. But the location is excellent. A walk to the nearest MRT is only less than 5mins! I have stayed her quite a few times, which i enjoyed staying; more than my current place (having to squeez in a roon with my sister). Not forgetting there is also a food court just behind the hotel n it take a mere 3-min walk! Will be back again n its 1 of my fav 3 star hotel to rest n chill with lotsa privacy. Take note: The aircon temp can be really cold - Which is good! Those who are afraid of the cold, remember to have ur jacket ready. Late check-out i got was only til 12.30pm, never once had 1 or 2pm check-out - Could be due to high occupancy. No room service but lotsa eateries around, so no complains. There's also drink vending machines and free ice machine located on certain floors. - Thumb up!

It's in fact our first time staying in a budget hotel, in this case the Marrison Hotel. Fortunately, our decision was Okay. The room is just too small, mostly occupied by a queen size bed with significantly less space for luggage or whatsoever. Toilet is just Okay. Basically, nothing much to complain about. The best thing is that Marrison is located just at the heart of Bugis. Street food has a lot to offer & the night life is just fantastic. Bugis Junction & Bugis Night Market is just around the corner of about 5 mins to 8 mins walk. Traveling is not hectic at all. LRT is also around the vicinity. Cost of a cab from Changi Airport to Marrison ranges from $14 to $18 which is pretty much reasonable for a traveling family.

My 52 nd trip to Singapore since 1964 and on the last 4/5 visits I have stayed at Hotel Bencoolen. Why? The location and easy access from the airport by train; the staff who are ever so nice and recognise me and acknowledge me on arrival and during the stay; value for money and has outdoor pool area and gym. It is easy to walk to the river and many of the museums, galleries and the Victoria Theatre and Esplanade Theatres. Its difficult to name an individual staff member as better than a colleague as I find them all a dedicated Team doing their best to look after their guests. I have already made a reservation for my next trip. The new Bencoolen rail station is complete but will not be in use until Oct/Nov 2017 as the underground rail line has not been completed. However when finished the station will allow travel to and from the airport from just outside the hotel entrance.

Well, Actually i never planned to choose this hotel while on Singapore. but it turns out to be one of the best things that happen on my trip. Location : very near from bugis location, surrounded by a very interesting street such as Arab Street and the most instragramable street on SG , Haji Lane. for moslem i highly reccomended this place coz you cant found a lot of tasty and halal food around, with a view of the biggest mosque in SG. Cleanliness : Room is very compact as i can tell, very comfort with a new interior there. Staff: Well they are exceptional. very kind and broad smile on their face. never bother us and always provide everything that we need . Facilities : Room is very modern. they provide us a phone that allowed us to make a call or browsing. and the best thing is they rent it for free and we can use it outside the hotel. they provide a still and sparkling water near the receptionist which is very good deal cos a bottle of water can cost you 1 dollar there. Overall, i am very satisfied on my first visit on nuve hotel. i will go back for sure. and i very recommend this place for a solo or couple traveler, who want to save money but not feeling ease to living on hostel. this is 3 star hotel that feels like a 4 star hotel. Conclusion : Highly Recommended !

First time using Citadines group facilities, which satisfying enough. We are family with 3 children, booking 1 bedroom executive and stay for 4 night. 1. Room: Spacious and clean 2. Facilities: Gym, Laundry coin, water dispenser in each floor for free. It will be better if you have swimming pool 3. Location: 5 -6 minutes walk to Bencoolen MRT, Rochor MRT. 10 minutes walk to Bugis MRT, Little India MRT. Close to Bugis Junction, Bugis+, Sim-Lim Square. Lots of singaporean street just cross-by the hotel. 4. Good and helpful staff Note: Just wondering, my friend stay at the same time with us with same room type, charged with same price/night, (but booking it from other application). Fact that they don't get charge for sofa bed arrangement is quite shocking. We've been charge $50/night which confusing us since it's inside the room and should be free facility. Repeat Order: yes for sure, but we will try to order it from other application since they include sofa bed arrangement ^__^

the hotel location is very strategic, next to the hotel there is a small 7eleven that provides common needs such as drinking, little food and bakpau(steamed bun stuffed with meat or other ingredients) serve in the morning. walk from hotel about 200 meters into the bugis junction and find way to mrt, walk across the victoria street again there is a market sale cheap singapore gift. about halal food is also not a problem, walk 200 meters across bugis junction (north bridge road) at the end of the lane there are restaurant tong seng and arabic restaurant that has received halal certification from muis.

Overall perfect stay i gotta say. The check in & out is very fast. The bed is very comfortable. The room is just nice for couple i should say. ATM machine are just a cross the road, 7-eleven is also across the road. U can find food everywhere near by. Beach road food centre is nearby, which is great. their "soup Tulang" is delicious & also their indian Muslim halal food. Perfect! Our room come with breakfast. So we were kinda looking forward. But sadly, its not buffet type; they will ask what do u want to have, fried rice, fried egg or spaghetti.So if u are big eater, the breakfast wont make u feel full.

Clean and large enough rooms, friendly staff, large windows with good city view. Only problem is the ants which show up pretty quickly even if you leave a tiny bit of food particle around - so make sure you don't leave any food particles in the room. The hotel also has a walkway access on the 2nd floor from which you can walk to the Grand Pacific Hotel on Victoria Street which has a 7-11 beside it and a hawker center (low priced food court) on the opposite side of the road. On foot it is possible to reach this hotel from 4 directions (Victoria street, Waterloo street, and Queen street).

Best experienced we had. Very accesible to the shopping area, hospitals. Staff anticipates your needs. They are easy to converse with and most have a pleasant disposition towards work. Hotel,s ambience is 5 star quality. A very quiet place, and room whre you can really rest. Food quality, presentation is very good. Variety of buffet prepared each day. You are assured that you are secured staying in intercontinental singapore and if given a chance I would love to come back and stay again in this hotel.Our 5 day stay is a very memorable one and looking forward to going back to singapore and will definitely book again in this hotel. Just next time please give us a higher floor room, though we requested for this and was transferred the following day.Thank you.

i stayed for 4 nights at somerset and it have been wonderfull. i stayed in 1 bedrom deluxe with 3 young children (6,3,1 yo). with the king bed (180x200), living room with a sofa, fully equipped kitchen (electric stove, microwave, toaster, electric pot, plate, bowl, spoon, etc), they even provide you with dishwasher liquid and sponge. location just right in front of MRT bencoolen exit A, halal food just below the hotel. there is "putri" restoran that sell "padang" food and also accross the street we can find halal resto "sumber ayam" at the food republic food court. 7-11 also accross the street. Bugis jus 15min (30min small walk with children). taxi available in front of the hotel. we check out at 06.00 in the morning and there is a taxi in front of the taxi shelter in front of the hotel. overall its a very convenient stay and we will be back again if we ever go to singapore.

this hotel is strategically located between bugis and lavender mrt stations on victoria street. walking to these 2 station takes 5 to 10 minutes. or you can hop on to any bus on this road to get to the mrt stations; it's only 1 or 2 stops away. i was given a room catered for the disabled. the toilet is very spacious. not sure about other rooms though. overall it's clean but once in awhile the wardrobe needs to dust. breakfast is good! the coffee machine serves excellent coffee and the food is tasty. this is something not to be missed. overall staff performance is great! from front desk, housekeeping, to restaurant staff. i was always greeted with a smile and request to housekeeping is always prompt. the room comes with a safe deposit box, this is superb! there're also lots of electric sockets in the room which i find very convenient. the free internet service is excellent. it was up throughout my 5-days stay, whenever i needed it for my laptop and phone. yes, it was not only to be used by 1 device like some other cheap-skate hotels would do. this hotel is worth every cent. i'm very satisfied throughout my stay. i will definitely return and will also highly recommend this hotel to others. whether you're a business traveler, shopper etc. good job, alan (hotel manager) and team!

This was the anniversary of my Indonesian visa run and I decided to go back to Parc because we had such a good experience last year. Located close to Little India street food centre and a stones throw from the MRT station is an excellent benefit. The room was very comfortable allowing me to catch up on some lost sleep with a 4am start that morning. Staff are very efficient while remaining welcoming and friendly. Had a swim in the large lap pool and a short workout in the small but adequate gym on the pool deck.

This hotel is very cheap than other hotel, there have many restaurants nearby, a restaurant that I recommand name is "Steamboat" there is buffef chinese food but the taste very near thai style. This hotel near Bugis MRT station, Bugis street, shopping mall and not far to go to the interesting place. I booked standard room for 2 nights, I got fourth floor It make me happy very much because my room is very quiet and air condition is very cold. First day when I checkin their elevator is out of order but they trying to repair it as soon as they can, finally It's work in evening. I'll book here again when I have chance to go to Singapore.

Near Bus shelter 9. Near Bugis MRT station about 700m & Lavender MRT station about 600m 10. Pleasant and helpfull Staff 11. There is a tree in front of hotel (our room), so we could hearing bird twitter in the morning, always. 12. Azan (Athan) is clearly heard from Masjid Sultan, so we never left behind jamaah shalat. CONS: 1. TV Cable just a few channel, about 6 or 7 channel, no children channel 2. No Water Closed sprayer ------------- We will stay again in this hotel if went to Singapore.

We were given a corner room which is slightly bigger than the average. There is some space below the bed for luggage. Bed and pillows are very comfortable. Room is very clean. Table is part of the wall cabinet and is foldable. No refrigerator, but there are personal iron and small iron board, tv, kettle, mineral water, instant coffee, tea, biscuits, toiletries, towels and disposable slippers! No dedicated place to hang clothes, hv to use provided hangers behind the door. Automatic door lock is a little insensitive. Lift is only activated with card. Not noise proof, but night time the area is quiet, so we had good sleep. Lots of chinese street food, and 3 convenient shops nearby. National library is very near, and tgere are many book shops including 2nd hand ones across the main street.

One of the best budget hotel i've stayed in Singapore Best location It is very near in train station (bugis junction) near money exchange centers ( 3 - Bugis street, infront of bugis street, and in front of the street of the hotel) Near bugis street ( good place to buy souvenirs ) 7/11 beside the hotel lots of malls if you like to walk, you can walk to different tourist spots It's like the center for the tourist attractions in Singapore

walking distance 5-7min to metro station. I didn't have to use bus to get anywhere else. The metro covered most of the attraction: marina sand bay, vivo city to sentosa, etc. Room was clean and roomy (compared to other hotel). We used to stay at B.Hotel and man, it barely has room to breath. Affordable price with great location together with good staff. It doesn't have toothpaste and toothbrush so you gotta bring your own. We don't have restaurant inside the building but just downstairs we have Malaysian/ Idian food corner. Walking 3 min, you will get to Tekka food court with Indian/Chinese/ Jap/ Korea/ all kind of food. It is good and cheap, even though the quality might not be as good as Michelin 1 star booth or Tian Tian chicken rice but it's 3min away so who cares. Overall will stay here next time until I can find a better place with the same price, and I doubt it could happen in this lifetime.

The hotel design was cool. The room was small but nice and comfortable. I booked the room last min as it was after my 12 hours of work and want to find a place to rest. The room is basic equipped. The bed was comfortable. Plus points would be mini bar items are free to consume. Room came with breakfast. The breakfast was serve in a hotel next to it. Breakfast was so-so just filling. Don't expect for a wide spread of food. Service from the counter was good. The staff was precise and willing to go further. Overall the stay was good and comfortable. It will be a choice for another staycation and will choose a different room next time. Thanks for the good service, please keep it up!

I think you can't better hotel in Singapore at this price. Elegant and practical design for their relative spacious room (I like the shower room especially), quite at night, some cheap spa nearby, a nice indian restaurant open till late, etc. Of course it's not in the best area but considering the size of Singapore, it's still a better to spend a little more on taxi but much less on hotel. Staff are efficient and helpful, no complaint, but on my departure date there was some sort of video shooting in lobby, I was not informed so when I walked out of elevator the crew were staring right at me like I walked into a wrong place (it's c/o time what did I suppose to do ...) finally they allowed me out of the elevator to finish my c/o, but I had to drag myself and luggage out to wait for my taxi on the street because the lobby was still occupied ... By the way, want to thank the reception in their sister hotel at Sultan Street, she helped me to find the right hotel while taxi dropped me at the wrong place when I arrived.
