To say we were impressed would put it lightly. Due to the dedicated helpfulness of the staff everything from the moment our scheduled transportation picked us from the airport everything ran so smoothly. We were blown away by the level of hospitality and friendliness of your staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our sea view rooms, the style and layout was just lovely. The staff made it so easy to book tours and excursions and make very helpful suggestions of things to do. The location is the best I’ve ever stayed at in Krabi, and being a little off the main road lead to a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast service was quite possibly the best I’ve ever had, in all my travels. The kitchen staff worked so seamlessly for each guests to have a perfect way to start their day. Every lounge chair by the pool, every restroom, every dish was spotless. The staff’s attention to detail and cleanliness is unrivaled by most other hotels I’ve stayed at.

Booked from 21- 23 February in a deluxe ocean view room for my wifes birthday as we travelled around Thailand and with a bit of trepidation as some reviews were a touch negative. All I can say is its fantastic - a 9.5 score easily from us. Theres a few very minor points - the TV is small and old - but you won't want to be in your room as outside is so fantastic. The service at the beach bar is a bit chaotic. Broadband is only free in the library and lobby and chargeable in your room which is mean. For true ocean view you need a top floor room as the palm trees block the views. But thats it. We are so glad we ignored some of the reviews and booked. It is basically an island location as its seperated from the best bit of Ao Nang by about 50 metres of rock. You can walk up the cliff - the monkey walk- otherwise its a free speedboat which takes you further down the coast to Where all the boats and boat trips launch from. We found the boat service no hassle at all but you have to book it to guarantee your place so you just need to think a day ahead. I think some of the reviews talking about the boats, sunbeds, baggage, etc refer to when the hotel was packed for chinese new year, etc probably best to avoid but for our dates no problem with boats, baggage, getting sunbeds, etc. Remember its on an island basically so think about all the logistics they have to do getting everything on and off from staff, food, towels, customers, etc. but thats part of the charm of watching the boats come and go from the long pier. The beach is gorgeous, private, sandy and empty. The views of the sea and rock formations are stunning, the pool is the best I've ever been in - really 4 pools in one with fountains, waterfalls, kids area, a cave and wonderful views. All the restaurant food was top quality and the Thai buffet and dancing night was great. Service superb. Engish speaking. Breakfast very good quality and choices. Definitely a 5 place with all the little trimmings plus 10 views.

In general, everything’s is good! 1) Location of this hotel is good, quiet & easy access to many place just by walking distance. However, we rent a bike to move around and the hotel provide parking area. 2) The hotel prepare for us a breakfast box on our last day as we depart 6am early in the morning on our last day. 3) Hotel room is beautiful, we love it so much. We can get a beautiful room with such a low price. The room is worth of money. 4) We get a malfunction air conditioning room during our arrival, so we request for changing room, the staff is so friendly and quickly change the room for us. 5)The hotel have alots of great facility, such as pool, bar, welcome drink token, children room, PC for gaming, Play Station ( not functioning ), gym, towel for outside beach usage, umbrella at the reception and many more facility which we can request from the hotel’s reception. But there is still some improvement needed!! 1) The pool do not have towel all the time, when i ask the staff for towel after swimming for more than 1 hour, the staff told us we need to wait for 30min for the laundry to prepare the towel. 2) The morning breakfast looks like alots of variety especially with those picture they send to us before we made booking, but actually it just very simple menu. The 2nd days we already feel bored with the breakfast. 3) The staff refill those breakfast dish very slow, many guest need to wait for quite sometime for them to refill the food and it wasting time of waiting. 4) The housekeeping do not replace the necessary toilet amenity such as cotton buds & sanitary bags on the 2 days of our stay and we need to request from them. 5) The online messaging team reply our message very slow, it may took more than 2 days to reply our request via messaging. Overall, our stay is wonderful. We will come back again to stay here in future when we visit Krabi and hopefully by that time, the hotel services have lots more improvement.

We had traveled to Krabi in the last week of Oct 2016 (off season) for our honeymoon. After months of research and tracking we finally narrowed down on a couple of resorts in Aonang- Orchid being one of the top most. The reason being it is very close to the beach (2-3 minutes walk), we fancied a good bathroom and a balcony with a good view. Agoda had the best price to offer, compared to all the other sites (we tracked across all possible sites). Post booking, we had informed the resort about our purpose for visit and had requested for a high floor room with the best possible view. Both of which was duly addressed. We checked-in immediately, which was around 2 hrs prior to the official check in time. The room was perfect- they had set up the room for our honeymoon (no extra charge), top floor, the balcony with the view was exactly what we wanted- beautiful, best part was the bathroom- big size with a decently sized bath tub which could accommodate two. The room service was top notch- very much similar to what a fancy resort offers. Breakfast was decent but the same menu every day. But that is how most of the budget resorts have it anyways. Breakfast spread consisted of - choice of egg, bread, croissants, bacon, sausage, seafood fried rice, chicken, make your own salad with multiple dressings, fruits, tea, coffee, juice etc. Staff was very cordial. We were mostly into activities and were hardly in the resort. But still we did not want to compromise on the luxury and a comfortable stay. I would highly recommend Grand Deluxe Pool View to couples who have the following checklist: 1. Resort level comfort and luxury which is also easy on the budget 2. Very convenient location ** High floor rooms have the sea view, so try to opt for that ** Breakfast can be opted out (which saves a few bucks + there are much better Thai food being offered just outside) If you are looking for luxury and a relaxing stay- opt for the pool side villa (but that would be high priced).

After having travelled to many other islands this hotel was heaven! Being Canadian we are used to a certain life style and comfort this hotel provided just that. Sugar Marina has the same feel, comfort, cleanliness and service as a Sheraton in Toronto would have. Check in was awesome, great staff and quick service. The room itself was very modern, clean and comfortable. The washroom to the shower was very nice and clean. The morning breakfast could've had more American breakfast options such as potatoes or beans. It was mainly meaty foods making it hard for myself as a vegetarian. Other than that very clean and modern looking. The overall appeal of this hotel felt like home, especially after travelling so much this hotel was the cheapest but yet the best! Location is great, within 10 min walk you can get to the main area of the beach and longboat taxis are across the street as well.

I booked this hotel at a last min notice as my partner and I decided to make an impromptu trip (5D4N) to Krabi. For the price that we paid we would say that BlueSotel definitely exceeded our expectations ! Pros - The staffs here are really polite and helpful. Plus, they could speak decent English ! - Location was spot on as it’s just a few mins walk to the beach. Also, there were many nice restaurants and convenience stores located a stones throw away - Room was really fantastic, as all of them comes with a balcony. There was a rack that allowed us to dry our clothes too. This really came in handy throughout our trip ! I would appreciate if most hotels had the rack so that people wouldn’t encounter issues when they want to hang their laundry out to dry. Basically, we had nothing much to pick on about the room given to us for our stay. - Room service was really efficient as we didn’t have to wait long when we request for things. They cleaned up our room really well too. - Price wise, for a last min booking I would have expected to pay a higher cost for this hotel but no ! In our opinion we felt that the deal we got was really really cheap. For a hotel like this we definitely felt that it was super value for money and we got a steal. - Facilities wise we didn’t really get to check out much of it as most of our times were spent out of the hotel. But I must say the pool area looked quite fancy and the public washroom was really clean too. Cons - The only issue we had with our stay was that the water heater wasn’t really consistent. There were times when the water would transition from really hot to cold and it’s definitely not enjoyable to shower in conditions like that. Overall, we would definitely recommend people to give this hotel a go as it checks all the box in which a traveller is looking for. It’s definitely value for money and I would advise to book this place if you’re looking for somewhere nice yet cheap to stay. Cheers !

Hotel : check-in was quick and fuss free. Booked a Deluxe Room, spacious and there’s balcony and sofa for a very reasonable price. Bed was super comfy and room is definitely clean. Free mini bar top up everyday. Don’t forget to bring your toothbrush and toothpaste as they don’t provide them. Hotel location was perfect for me surrounded by plenty of muslim/halal foods. The hotel restaurant is not halal, yet there’s bread, pastries and egg live station which you can consume. Hotel staff is very helpful, they help us with booking of chauffeur service from hotel to the airport for 600baht. Hotel provides umbrella in the room and beach towel too! Hotel to Aonang beach took us about 20mins walk which i’m pretty lazy to walk hence we rented a bike for 200baht per day (prepare a refundable deposit of 3k baht) We went for island hopping which cost us 2400 baht for 2pax include all taxes. (tour counter can be found opposite the hotel beside Bangboo restaurant) Don’t forget to try Firdaus restaurant beside the hotel as they provide nice halal seafood and there’s a cart right in front of the hotel selling pad thai (cheap & nice!) There’s a short night market outside the mosque selling street food, don’t forget to try the mango sticky rice, i bought that everyday it cost only 50baht! Massage parlour is all over cost between 200 - 500baht (i went twice 😊 ) Overall, Krabi is a nice place to relax. I never regret choosing Marina Express tho it’s not located in front of the beach.

Check in: Welcome by friendly receptionist and their very refreshing welcome drink. Room: We have booked double bed room, basic toiletries such as shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, shower cap, disposable slipper and cotton bud are provided except tooth brush and tooth paste. Shower area and toilet are separated by a glass, so the toilet bowl and floor won’t get wet easily when we take bath. The bed and pillow are quite comfy and soft too. Room is clean and neat. Up to expectation for a 3 star hotel. Location: Strategically located at AoNang area, there are restaurants, massage parlours, 7-eleven/ Family Mart, Starbucks Coffee, McD, tour counter and other shops selling souvenirs which is super convenient for tourist like us! Breakfast: We made our booking via Agoda which included breakfast. Their breakfast are quite simple (scramble egg, sausages, bread, porridge, noodles etc) but nothing much to complain. Service: The front desk receptionists are very friendly, whenever we pass by

This hotel is a hidden gem. It is not 5-star but it has everything we needed for a very pleasant stay. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Our rooms were large, clean and the bed was comfortable. Another review suggested that the lighting was poor but we did not find it a problem, although the light fitting in the bathroom was a little low. We don't usually eat in hotels but we tried Umbertos and had great food and wine at reasonable prices. As we had driven from Penang, transport around Krabi wasn't a problem but car parking is very difficult along the beachfronts. The hotel is just within walking distance of the beach and there are lots of restaurants along the way. The best bar we found was the Full Moon Bar, which has a great live band, about half way to the beach.

We stayed for 2 nights in Panorama Suite during our first anniversary. Had pre informed the management about it and they decorated the bed with anniversary wishes made of flower petals. Also they had committed for a cake which I didn't get, but it was OK. The view from the room is mesmerizing. One can spend hours at infinity pool and still not get enough of it. The best part of the property is their staff. They are always willing to go out of the way to meet your demands and that too with a smile. Be it the staff at front desk or the bellboys or the staff at the restaurant. For breakfast they have a vegetarian section which I really appreciate. Also they provided me cold chocolate milk even when it was not a part of their menu in the breakfast. Had a great time at this place. My only suggestion to this property is that if they could change the location of the seafood buffet dinner from the hotel entrance to somewhere else. Being vegetarians the smell of seafood while entering & exiting the hotel at evening was an unpleasant experience due to the terrible seafood smell. I felt like puking out on a few occasions. Also if you chose Panorama Suites, be prepared to change 3 elevators to reach your room.

Superb hotel with superb services. Staff are professional, friendly and helpful. I liked their behaviour, especially whenever I needed any help they were very cordial and helped wholeheartedly. And the travel guide normally sits beside the reception, is a very nice and helpful person. He helped me to rent the bike and also to book ticket from Krabi to Phi Phi island. And there are many halal restaurants nearest the hotel. As I'm Muslim, I found the masjid is also in a very nearest location. If you go to Krabi, choose this hotel for the best services and for a memorable tour.

Definitely one of my choice right now when i'm at Krabi. I have booked the direct pool access room definitely the right choice as i can view the sea as well from my room. The sea breeze definitely is lovely if you like the beach. There are restaurants nearby the hotel and they serve good food. If you would like to have seafood meal facing the sea, you can just walk down the road which is about less than 10mins away to "Wang Sai Restaurant", nice view with seafood meals that is pretty good. Apart from that, if you would like to dine with a different perspective, i would recommend you to visit Mountain View which is about 20mins away from the hotel. You can board the "Bus" that says to Krabi town, it cost about 50-60 thai baht per pax. The hotel have nice #ootd places as well if you would like to take a nice shot.

This hotel is good value for the price paid. Quite new ( 3 years ), nice design & furnishings, good reception area, swimming pool with slides for children ( but about 3 feet depth, young kids need to be supervised ), very nice spa center and nice landscaping. Room is clean and very comfortable ( 4 to 5 star quality ), with a balcony. Bathroom has clean bathtub and separate shower area. One plus point is the bed is superking size, and can comfortably sleep parents and a kid, for those traveling with children. The cooling welcome drink served upon check in was very much appreciated, and a staff brought us up to the room to introduce the facilities... friendly & efficient. There are food stalls/restaurants ( the famous WangSai seafood is 5mins walk away ), massage centers, convenience stroes, right outside the hotel, everything you need, or else walk about 10 further for more choices along tourist belt of Aonag strip. Its 30mins away from airport ( peak hour will be 45mins ) - we booked airport transfer for very early in the morning ( 5am ) but was informed of a misbooking when taxi did not turn up, the staff was able to call and a van eventually arrived after 30mins. It will be cheaper if booking was done outside of hotel ( 500bht vs 800bht ), but at that hour, at least we have assurance of support from hotel staff in case of emergency like this. ( another booking at same hour was ok ). Overall very good hotel and will stay again.

Overall, apple of a day hotel is more than satisfactory. Hotel is clean, staffs are helpful, location is great and many restaurant near by, walking distance to ao nang beach. Hotel buffet is not many to choose but still ok. Like the juice bar so much, it's a way of starting new day with healthy life style. Next time, if I visit krabi will stay again. Instead of staying at hotel at railay beach area, I will stay here and just go day visit to railay beach. Railay beach hotel are not worth money and not good food around that area though the beach is nicer there. There is a swiss cottage beach trip package seller near apple a day resort, they offer the best beach package, cheaper by 400-500 bhatts than other tour company. We booked and use airport transfer from there 150bhatts per person. It is cheap and affordable when taxi charge 600 bhatts. Overall location, cleanliness and food wise, apple a day is the best choice.

The quality of this hotel was evident from the minute we walked up. The building is only a year old and still in immaculate condition. We originally booked a room on the 3rd floor with a garden view. The staff were not only friendly, but they upgraded us to a top floor room with an ocean view for no extra charge. Their English wasn't great but they were trying their best and that was greatly appreciated. The rooms were very clean and well thought out. The overhead shower was amazing!! Beds were quite comfortable compared to other "high ebd" hotels we have stayed in here in Thailand. The location is close enough to the beach, but far enough from the nightlife noise. Very close to the 8.98 Cafe which is a must for safe, delicious food. We are currently back for a second night after a very uncomfortable stay in Railay where were both got good poisoning. Wake Up Aonang is absolute comfort away from home you can trust. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Well done Wake Up

We booked our stay here based on other traveler reviews. We are so glad we did! This was among the best lodgings on our trip, and also one of the least expensive! This is a hidden gem and we will definitely stay here again. We were pleased with the room, which looked exactly like the pictures. Our bungalow was clean, modern, and lovely inside. Comfortable bed, security safe, good aircon, and coffee/tea for the room. Absolutely no complaints about the room. The grounds are green, lush, tranquil. I spent time just walking around the resort, taking pictures. The pool was clean, attractive. The entire resort was well looked after. The staff was efficient and helpful. Service was efficient. Laundry was done quickly and well. They helped us rent a motorbike, which was brought directly to the resort. The arranged a shuttle to the airport. When we checked in, we also booked an additional day at the last minute. We had to move to another room on the last day because ours was already reserved. But the staff did a wonderful job, moving everything for us. They also offer a breakfast buffet in their open-air dining area. It was attractive and the food looked good, but we did not eat there so cannot say anything about the quality. I believe it was traditional western-style breakfast. The downside: It is not near the beach. The resort does offer a shuttle every couple hours down to the beach, but you have to find your own transport back, or walk (which is what we did). However, this is minor, and I enjoyed walking through the town, seeing the sights and the shops. overall, however, this is a little hidden treasure and was one of the high points of our stay in Ao Nang. We have already recommended it to friends traveling to Thailand.

Nice stay at this hotel, it is only 2 years old and has a fantastic view at the poolside of the mountains. Contrary to what I read about other comments about rude staff I found them to be very nice and pleasant and very helpful in addition very professional. We stayed in a standard room booked online and payed approximately £25 per night with Various discounts in low season the rooms were modern clean and very pleasant but are quite small but we knew this before we booked so no complaints there, probably the only minor complaint I would have is there is insufficient storage space for clothes and we had to leave half of our clothes in the suitcase under the bed. There is a safe, fridge and wall mounted flat screen TV with about 52 channels however I couldn't find one English speaking channel during our stay, there were French Indian Spanish......so I was really surprised at this infact it's a first as nearly every hotel has either a bbc or American news channel, however we didn't come to watch tv so it wasn't a big deal. Very pleasant well designed bathroom with a good shower and provision of liquid soap and shampoo dispensers. Breakfast was good with an egg station that cooked eggs and omelettes to order, for a snack they done great burgers at reasonable price, drinks are quite expensive but there is a happy hour from 5pm. - 7 pm where local beers and cocktails are 2 for 1. The Internet in my room was slow but worked good in public areas. My biggest disappointment was when a huge group of southern Asians turned up and there behaviour at breakfast time and around the pool was barbaric, in addition they let their children run wild throughout the hotel pressing playing in the lifts screaming down the corridors etc.... Although not the hotels fault who they let in, I did think staff and security could have been a bit more assertive......luckily for us they were only there a couple of days! In general apart from my last gripe a very pleasant stay and would definitely go

We went at the low season, end of May for Memorial Day weekend, and that's probably why we were able to book a room in the first place! This place is the absolute best in Ao Nang - newest to the town literally as this is at the end of the current development on the main road. The hotel is very well designed. Rooms are posh and very comfortable. Restaurant's on the second floor, open to the elements facing the beach. Having a made-to-order breakfast there and watching the water changes color with the hour is one of the best moments of my trip! They make great drinks at the bar, too. They don't hoard or overdose their alcohol - it was just done right. Hassan at the bar makes the absolute BEST Irish Coffee. Drinking at the bar late at night while playing chess was the best memory for me and my bf on this trip. We were basically the only ones there and it felt like we owned this place! This place must be run by some westerners who monitors quality control constantly. It makes the hotel next door looks like a motel. I would not recommend anything but! Think Ian Schrager, and Sala Talay is what it is. I checked availability for Christmas and it's already booked full.

We stayed here overnight on our way back from Railay. We were travelling with a small group of friends and our 18 month old daughter. I found the quality of the staff at this hotel to be some of the best I have experienced in Thailand this trip. Staff were friendly, cheerful and would go the extra mile to assist with questions and information about the area. The rooms were a good size, with modern fixtures and very well maintained and cleaned. The building we stayed in didn't have a lift, but it was not difficult to walk to the third floor (top), I noticed the building attached to reception did have a lift available. The hotel is located about a 15-20 minute walk from the beach and is surrounded by a variety of restaurants, massage parlours and shops. The night market is next door and provides a good variety of dinner choices as well as some entertainment and shopping. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

Let's discuss what the Mercure doesn't have...a large pool, one to laze the day away. Instead, they have collection of smaller pools that mostly cater to the ground floor rooms that one can drop straight into the blue. Of course you can always take advantage of the deck chairs and bar drinks but the functionality of the hotel begs you to go and explore Krabi. Without the luxury of a large pool to sit around, we were forced to get out and see the sights, and we did with wild abandon. One day was spent at the Railey beach whilst another was a day trip to Phi Phi island. We even managed to go shooting at the dilapidated range just outside Ao Nang and a fantastic time zip lining at tree tops adventure park. The Mercure is conveniently based a few minutes away from the hustle of Ao Nang beach, and it meant we were able to nice walks each day to the beach road and surrounding areas. There's also the best seafood restaurant a 40 baht tuk tuk away on Noppararat beach called Krua Thara, simply fantastic seafood at half the price of the beach front establishments. With the deal obtained from Agoda.com for under US$35 per night (including breakfast) we really couldn't go wrong, but even with this bargain nugget we were duly impressed with how the mercure sets a standard higher than any other 'value' chain. The care and attention of events, how everything is priced including taxes and service charge, the well kept gym, the polite staff where even the room cleaning was better than a five star hotel. On my birthday I even received a totally unexpected surprise in my room with a delicious chocolate cake! Well played Mercure for leaving us rejuvenated and extremely happy after five great days.

Although it was a short stay for me and my wife, it was one of the best ones. We stayed at LaRio Hotel for 3Nights. We booked deluxe room. However upon our arrival, we got to know from the receptionist - Bibi, a very friendly and down to earth person that they have surprise for us and she will show us the room. What came to surprise was the hotel management have upgraded our room to deluxe duplex for our honeymoon. Service was excellent and location is great. Special thanks to Ms.Uma for making our stay extra special! We will definitely stay here again.

We had a ground floor room very close to the beach, was great with a young baby. We didn't actually realize the hotel was beach front until we got there. If you stay in the top , get a room on the top 2 floors for great seaview. Elevator is great if you have kids Huge room! Very clean! Shower and bath tub was nice! Great location very close to boat taxi and restaurants and night life! Only down side is we thought the booking included breakfast but it was very expensive, so we walked to a restaurant on the main road across from the beach every day. Good was great and reasonably priced for lunch and dinner tho. Had a great seafood feast on roof top of restaurant . Amazing sunsets!!

Room is spacious and can add an extra bed, sleeps 3 adults very comfortably. Housekeeping brings water for 2 not for 3 sometimes. All 3 rooms were FULL of mosquitoes. We bought a mosquito killer aerosol spray for 69 baht for peaceful sleep. No tissues provided, only toilet paper. Close to 3 star hotel Place is 2 minutes close to WANGSAI seafood which is also a pier for reasonable boat hire (4 island hopping with long tail boat for 2500 baht, just don''t include the island where park ranger collects a 300 baht hefty sum per person at the island) Overall we would stay here again because of convenience 2 minutes to pier and 5 minutes walk to the WALKING STREET of AONANG with lots to eat, massage, etc

This is my second time in Krabi after the first one in January 2016. There were 3 of us during the trip this time. We purchased a room for three that consist of one Queen Bed and a Single Bed. Arrived at the hotel at 6:30 in the evening and we were welcomed by a soft-spoken young lady that demonstrates high level of excellence. She briefed us perfectly and clearly mentioned that we could borrow towels from the hotel to bring to the tour packages on the next day (this really made me happy since our last trip to Krabi, the hotel did not allow us to bring towels from hotel, embarrassing!) There are few things I would like to highlight. Firstly, amazing facilities. The hotel's facilities were clean and not obsolete like other hotels we stayed. It was comprehensive. Drinking water provided, hair dryer, large bed, television, mini fridge, closet, hot shower, shower gel and shampoo all are provided. Secondly, strategic location. Few steps away from McDonald,s and Starbucks, which means this hotel is located just along the Ao Nang street. You can just walk from your hotel to a nearby cafe, or even Family Mart. You can walk to the beach too since its too close from the beach. Lastly, the best service we have ever received from the staff. We initially booked the hotel for only three nights, but we ended up staying another night making it four nights in total. The staff kindly make manual reservations for us even we informed them few hours before actual checkout time. We rented the taxi (van) from the hotel which costs us 500 thai baht and departed from the hotel at 5:30 in the morning. The staff made it possible. The were on time and even ringed us for a wake up call at 4:45 am. Overall, i rate this hotel EXCELLENT!

I really like this hotel. Friendly staff and good food on breakfast. Best part there have free tuk tuk to the beach since its to far from hotel to beach. But the tuk tuk time only from 9am - 9pm. But i wish there can continue their service until 10pm/11pm. Second part there have shuttle van from hotel to airport with a cheap price, i just paid 150 bath per person. Lastly, there also have services motorbike rental start from 300bath. Location just oke. Far from beach. Take 15min-20min walk. Close with supermarket like Tesco and macro, 5min work only. I have been stayed theire 5days 4 night. I really happy with their services.. Thanks Ancora. 😄

I stayed for 7 nights and loved it pool access room is a must as to walk out of your doors into the pool is lovely rooms are spacious and clean, staff friendly and the manager is one of the best I have come across she was very helpful to me and my partner I would recommend the seafood restaraunt bottom of the road turn right just after the bend very nice food get there early gets busy,I was room only and would book the same again,when I ordered room sevice the presentation and quality of the food was first class

A very good seafood restaurant called WangSai Seafood is 3 minutes walk away (go left from the front of the hotel and across the road), however if you are looking for more restaurants and shops it's better to take a motorbike taxi, 30 BHT a person to Aonang beach. No complaints about the food nor the staff. The rooms were clean and quiet. This hotel is offering a lot for the money you pay, especially if you enjoy swimming.

I had a minor boo-boo during the booking of the reservation as the website hang and I missed the chance to book the hotel for my entire stay. I contacted Agoda to address the issue and they were kind to accord the room from this hotel to me at a discounted rate as I have provided proof that the website died on me. Hotel initially wanted to charge me an exorbitant rate for my last night stay because of it's "unavailability". Apart from the overcharging, it was otherwise a almost perfect stay. I booked a Grand Deluxe Room and paid for an additional bed at 850 baht per night. Requested for extra mattress for the extra bed to ensure that the main bed and extra bed are of the same height, the front desk obliged without much hesitation. Booked Phi Phi Island trip with the front desk and was given a discount and pick up time was prompt. Paid 1,200 baht for 2 way airport transfer and drivers (different driver) was extremely friendly, courteous and on time. Hotel is about 15-20 minutes walk from Ao Nang Beach however there hotel shuttle available. Walk back to hotel at night is a little too dark though with my small children in tow. Only issue is with the safe deposit box in the room which keeps getting stuck and I had to trouble the front desk to keep opening up for me. Once, they send the housekeeping to open up the safe deposit box for me which I think it may be a little wrong as the master key is the key to all the rooms and all safe deposit boxes in the hotel hence only authorized personnel like the manager can hold on to the key.
