"I've been in many Hostels during my trip in Thailand. But this was one of the best. Let me tell you why: - the dorm bed very comfortable and clean. Very good quality of bed linen. Spacious and well equipped. The beds were fixed to the wall. So there were no disturbances from roommates. I slept like a baby! - they have separate bathrooms, and the bathroom for women is huge, clean and easy to feel good in - the whole hostel has a nice design, at the pool you can relax well although not swim - the area is very quiet and yet you can reach easily the bus station and night market on foot I would book it again anytime! "

"Nak Nakara is adjacent to the night market and basically downtown---most sites in the downtown grid are within easy walking distance, with the farthest areas (e.g. Jet Yod road) no more than 15 minutes away on foot. The hotel is a complex of buildings with external corridors arranged around a spacious and quiet central courtyard. There is air conditioning and free wi-fi and the bathrooms appear to have been recently remodeled. It is easy to access by car and has a parking lot. Breakfast is good with numerous choices in terms of Thai dishes, dim sum, etc. The reception and staff are quite friendly and particularly helpful. I got what I consider to be a particularly good deal by advance booking on Agoda."

"This hotel is a short walk from the clock tower. It is spotless, the rooms have a/c and nice bathrooms. Beds and linens were clean and comfortable. Front desk staff were extremely helpful. There were breakfasst options of western or Thai. Printing services are available. Close walk to night market and a number of wats. We visited 4 in a few hours after we took the bus to the white temple.. Easy walk to bus station. Great value for the money. "

"Mora Boutique Hotel is the best place we have ever stayed at. Service Staff food bar pool spa and Accommodation are all 5 star . The amazing staff were there to help with anything we needed and also booked a wonderful day trip to the White temple Buddha and tea plantation and the price was great .The rooms are beautiful with everything you need and the bed and pillows were like sleeping on clouds . Mora is walking distance to many sites etc the clock tower markets restaurants . If you like there is a complimentary shuttle bus to town as well as complimentary snacks. Please don't stay any where else you will love this place and all it has to give like we did. We will definitely return to this wonderful Boutique Hotel "

"Greatest thing was Suvanna, the manager. She was extremely warm, friendly and helpful. I also really appreciated her English speaking skills. 2nd best was the pool that is long enough for laps. Poolside furniture was not very good. My room was very clean but the cleaner they use is toxic. I only let them clean my room once because the smell lingered for days. Breakfast buffet same everyday, mostly asia. Pancakes, French toast, peanut butter occasionally would have been nice. All in all, little pricey but nice place to stay."

"I stayed at this comfortable hotel on my last evening in Thailand, and was incredibly impressed. The rooms are just as comfortable as any midrange hotel in Europe or North America, and at a fraction of the price ($10). The staff were welcoming and friendly, and handed out free candies to guests upon arrival. The hotel is located around a 10-minute walk from the Night Bazaar and the heart of sleepy Chiang Rai. The bedding and rooms were extremely comfortable, and though the bathrooms were spartan and featured those pesky electronic water heaters, they were perfectly acceptable. If you find yourself in Chiang Rai, this is the perfect place to hang your hat - it's almost impossible to not enjoy your stay here."

"Shouldn’t compare to Bangkok hotels of the same stars but I have no complaints. My room (409) was immaculate. Good size with bathroom and separate shower room. Bit mean with bottles of drinking water and coffee making sachets. Breakfast more than acceptable. Restaurant very good value and choice. Staff were helpful and charming."

"Wanted to experience Northern Thailand and was in Chiang Mai for a week. Chiang Rai was an easy commute via Green Bus and Hi Chiang Rai was just around the corner from the bus stop. Lovely new hotel with a pool on the main floor with rooms over looking it. Rooms were clean and recently renovated so the hotel had that fresh feel to it. Easy to get around Chiang Rai from the hotel and just a short Grab to Wat Rong Kuhn (White Temple). There is also a daily shuttle you can catch that will take you to the Central Mall - nice touch."

"This is my first time at this hotel and it’s the best of the 3 hotels I have stayed in Chiang Rai. The location is very good in the centre of the traditional part of Chiang Rai. There are plenty of Thai and foreign restaurants nearby. The Night Bazaar is only 2 minutes’ walk and these markets are great affordable shopping with cheap eating options. The room was very pleasant and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is great with much variety. The staff are friendly and helpful. The shuttle to the airport is only 100 THB per person. The swimming pool is big and deep however, it is not suitable for non-swimmers and children. Even the shallow end is deeper than a young child. Supervision is essential. The hotel is popular for tour groups which means that the tourism industry sees this as value for money, but also means it can be very busy, especially with booming Chinese tourism. I have nothing to be disappointed about with my stay here."
