The stay was excellent. Our caddies were excellent. The only negative was the trouble with booking tee-time. i.e booking/paying for night golf could not be done before 4 pm! After booking you still could not trust that the booked time remained when you came to start. We expected better english by the staff. Hotel is a 4-5 star Golf cource is 3-star Caddies is 4-5 star. Our caddies. Nightgolf was a positive experience. Slow golfer should let fast golfers pass. Booking routines could be improved

I often stay in airport hotels and by far this one was the best I ever bin. Especially if you are able to affort book the executive room or the Junior Suite. The check-in was perfect and separated from the normal check-in, the executive launch is very nice. The breakfast was the best I had in Thailand, very good choices. If you stay there Sunday take also the bruch from 11-15pm, even better than the breakfast. The nicest feature is that breakfast start 3am in the morning!! There is also a pick up service, just go to gate 5 (arrival area), go out and see the Novotel sign, evrery 15 minutes there is a car to pick you up, all perfectly taken care and also the transportation back to the airport. You can also walk to the Novotel, Guess 10-15minutes. Another nice feature is that the sky train is right below the building so you can easily go to the city. The hotel has be rated 5th best airport hotel in the world, so you really can be sure that there was a reason for this. I will for sure not stay in another airport hotel in Thailand anymore.

I have been staying at this hotel for several years now. It is very convenient, the rooms are clean, price is good, staff is good, service is good. Just on the other side of the wall(I will call it) there are several places to eat. Breakfast is warm! A plus in my book! HERE IS A TIP: Do not exchange your money at the airport. They are about 1.5 to 2 baht lower than other places. A local bank is better, but still not up to par. This is the best place to get a good rate to exchange money. Go to superrichthailand dot com This is an actual bank/exchange place. From their website, you can map it, see the rate and see a picture of it in google. The color is green and in google it shows 2 places(one orange) looking like they have the same name. The green one is the one you want. Were the airport was 29.04 baht per USD, this place was 30.71 baht per USD. Speaking of the USD. When you take USD there, take $100 notes (new style) and no older than 2000 series. The lesser denominations you get less of a rate and the older like 1990 series, some places will not take. Back to superrichthailand, from the airport, take the airport link train to the BTS exchange and take that to the BTS Chidlom and get off there. From there, take a taxi or Tuk Tuk the rest of the way. We walked it and it was not far, but a bit difficult to get to, even with a GPS. But, for the better rate, it is worth it. I read a review that someone had ants in their room. The ants are because they did not rinse the coffee cups and left them sit out. This is not just this hotel but any place in the world. Any coffee cup that has had coffee/sugar in it that has not been rinsed will attract ants. Rinse the cups and you will be fine! I would rate this hotel fairly high on a scale but to me it is a transition place for the airport. Great for one night where you can transfer from the airport and then go where you need to go.

I stayed at Best Western Amaranth Suvarnabhumi Airport Hotel as a overnight stopover between Koh Samui and departure from bangkok to Australia. The hotel was excellent. I made sure to contact them 24 hrs beforehand and had a seat booked on the Shuttle bus (23.30)from the airport to the hotel after landing at 23.05 Checked in at approximately midnight and the staff were excellent: no fuss, highly efficient, made booking on shuttle bus to go back to airport at 14.00 next day and had use of room until book out time. Excellent! The room was brilliant: Comfortable, clean, chic - I was in heaven. Breakfast buffet next morning was great value and delicious. Restaurant staff were outstanding - nothing was a trouble. I would highly recommend a stopover stay a Best Western Amaranth Suvarnabhumi Airport Hotel.

The Miracle Transit hotel is located on the airside part of the terminal. Actually on the departure side. As transit passenger you don't have to pass immigration and all that hassle. There are just two things to know: After arrival you have to go one level up and pass the security check for connecting flights. Then locate where you are and know which of the hotels you booked (there are two according info staff) The signing on the BKK airport is marginal at the best and the electronic info boards are not detailed enough to help... so expect a bit of search to find the hotel. The hotel itself is booked by the hour. I booked via Agoda for one night. After payment I got the booking confirmation mentioning for 6 hours only. This was the first time I have seen it. May be it was in the fine print some where before, but the contract from Agoda with them is for a 6 hours stay only - not a night! I paid 2 additional hours for 36US$ which is a lot compared to the price I booked before - kind of a rip off. I would not book it this way anymore - sorry! But as I said, may be it was written in the fine print before that is NOT a night, as mentioned and expected. As summary I have to say, it was ok and gave me a good rest. Very basic facilities but clean and quiet. I may use it again

We booked this hotel as a place to spend a few hours before our late flight home to london after 2 weeks in Thailand. Our previous 4 hotels were all 5 stars but I have to say the welcome we got at The Cottage was the best and most sincere of our whole honeymoon. The young man on receotion and his team were lovely and reallt genuinely nice. Got all our flight details from us and booked us on the 9pm airport transfer. For the price the hotel was really nice and much better than my expectations. The reception, restaurant & pool would not be out of place in a 4 star hotel. The room was basic but nice and clean. We had great air con, good sized shower and a nice balcony. The male receptionist gave us directions to the near by small shopping centre and welcomed us back a few hours later. The shuttle driver was very friendly and got us to the airport in plenty of time. All in all it was fantastic. Not sure what positition the young male with braces on reception is but I would recommend he is promoted as he was brilliant.

Easy to see why this hotel is well rated.I have stayed in many hotels near the airport from the Novotel which is five star to the Thong Ta which cost only about $12 a night. I was super impressed with the efficiency of the stuff and their genuine helpfulness. Of course at the price you are paying for this hotel you were not going to have a flash the lobby and a fancy restaurant and a huge buffet like you get in a five star but you will be very comfortable and very happy with the service. They took my luggage within seconds both on arrival and departure, checked me in quickly, answered the phone instantly when I wanted to go have a wake up call for the morning. They obviously are very much focused on customer service. So if you don't mind a very simple yet extremely clean and cute hotel, save almost $200 a night and stay here instead of at the Novotel.

I laid over in this hotel entering Thailand and returned again to layover on leaving Thailand. comfortable clean room (I give it 3 stars by western standard), best thing was the excellent service and airport worry-FREE shuttle, even took me to airport at 3am. This is a decent place to stay over while waiting for connection Flight... the restaurant was decent quality food and all the staff in the hotel were excellent and pleasant, most speaking some English and the front desk personnel spoke very good English.

Pretty decent hotel that was clean and pleasant to stay in. A/C blows cold and works well. Really liked the shuttle service to bkk airport that goes every hour for 150 baht... very good rate. Only drawbacks for this hotel i can think of is majority of activities you will or probably will want to do will take you about an hour to get to by taxi from hotel... and on the way back to find the hotel again lots of taxis are unfamiliar with area even with business card handy... the ones that do know area will say that its far away from bangkok city center and will try to upcharge you for a ride back to the hotel. Mention to taxi driver if you do plan on staying at this hotel that hotel is on "lat krabang rd." and "soi lat krabang 30/5." Itll help the driver get a good idea where the hotel is and help you on your travels. Also the shower drain in the room i stayed at was VERY slow draining.. a minor issue thats easily fixed other than that.

this was our third stay here in one month. down the street are some very nice, good local restaurants. the hotel is clean, has refrigerators in room, free wifi, hair dryers on request, restaurant and a pool. plus...it is very reasonable. we went downtown easily on the bts, plus caught a bus from the airport to the cambodia border on our way to angkor wat for only baht. the staff was friendly and trustworthy. nothing fancy, but a great hotel to commute from.

i will never stay at another place near the airport again. two times here now and i'm very impressed. 580 baht a night on agoda. that includes 2 free airport transfers! the restaurant is very good. get a vip card and you can check out at 3 p.m. and get 10% discount on the already cheap food. staff are very good. room is quite spacious with a good bed. only 5 minutes from the airport, one of the first streets in latkrabang after you leave the airport zone. very quiet, about 200 m down a street. remains to be seen what they build next door, since they're dismantling some old warehouses right next door now (but with no noise at all). they will probably put up some apartments, so it could be noisy for a while next year. now it's very peaceful and really an ideal airport hotel for a very low price. perfect for a 1-night stay.

Location: in the airport area, 10' by taxi. Hotel: recent building, beautiful swimming pool. Walking distance to The Paseo a shopping center. Room: standard design, comfortable bed, good shower, good linen, speed wifi, normal amenities. Cleanness: not the best, staff should be better trained and monitored. There are mosquitoes in the whole area, bring tablets repellent. At the check-in you will be asked to leave a deposit of 2.000 Baht. No welcome drink is provided. Very kind staff. Closer train station: Lat Krabang, useful to know: most of the taxi drivers will refuse to take you to the hotel because the do not know where it is. To avoid that ask to drop you at The Paseo but pronounce it Thai style, The Pasiò otherwise they will not understand.

Room: Deluxe third floor. We stayed there to more easily catch an early flight from Suv the next day. Nice large room. Very large, comfortable bed. Nice bathroom with separate shower and tub. Free mini-bar, but no alcohol in it. (not a problem for us) Large screen TV. The restaurant is good, and I can definitely recommend the chef's salad and Lobster Bisque. My wife enjoyed her Thai dishes also. The spa does a nice relaxing massage, but is a tad expensive for Bangkok. ($33 per hour and a half) However, there is no cab fare as it is located right beside the main hotel. The hotel was a bit hard to find for our cab driver, but in his defense, it was the first time he had gone there and usually worked downtown Bangkok. The free shuttle left on time in the morning and got us to Suv in about 15 minutes. Now, my one major gripe with the place: wireless internet should be free for the price I paid for the room. I use the internet to check in on flights, check future bookings, etc. I could not believe that the price was 267 baht (~$8) an hour! It was actually cheaper for me to use my Blackberry to check the flights, and the international rates for it are ridiculous also. Personally, I would rather have free internet, and pay for any usage on the mini-bar. As a stopover to be close to the airport for early international flights, this is an excellent choice. Just know that if you must have internet, it's going to cost you. If internet was free, I would actually think of staying there longer whenever we were in Bangkok. I do not know how much cabs would cost to shopping, etc. as we did not go out, but cabs (on the meter) are cheap enough in Bangkok anyway.

Past reviews nail this place down - clean, comfortable, excellent service, close to Suvarnabhumi airport. All fridge items are free (including a couple beers). Front desk arranged an in room massage without issue. Dining options are limited, with street vendors on the main street, nearby 7-11. Not sure if there are any restaurants, but a couple nearby hotels seemed to have them, so not sure if those are options. Pickup and drop off were swift (they can do at both airport or nearby express train station lat krabang, the name of the surrounding village).

I stay here regularly. I live about 4 hours north of Bangkok and when I come to the city, I take the outer ring road to Lat Krabang instead of driving into the city. We leave our car at Panini and then take the MRT Skytrain into the city to do our things and then come back out in the evening to sleep at the hotel. Hotel is new and clean and on the main road so easy to find. Much cheaper than the hotels in the city and can take a 2 min taxi ride to Skytrain and take a stress free trip into the city and not have to worry about parking and getting the car dinged up. Also, there is a mall nearby the hotel called The Paseo that has lots of good restaurants. I particularly like the authentic Italian place there. Anyway, for us this is a great solution and I would recommend the hotel to anyone else who is considering what we do.

This is an awesome hotel with that price tag. The room was beautiful and had all the facilities like a five star. The hotel is close to the airport making it excellent stay for over might transit. The hotel is very well maintained with all friendly smiling people. The pool was also good, the breakfast was good for the price. I would definitely stay there again if I just want to stay in BKK overnight. There are lots of street food near the hotel, but I didn't have a chance to try. The downside of course is that it is far from CBD, but again there is not much they could do. The airport shuttle for was the best.

I stayed here for 10 days and it was a very good stay. The hotel is modern and clean. The room is large, has a good bed, nice bathroom, nice HDTV, BBC on the cable, large refrigerator, excellent air conditioner, no musty smell that is common with many tropical hotels, and a safe. The free internet is WIFI only with daily changing username and password…the speed averages only around 1 Mbps download and .2 Mbps upload (speedtest.net) but is adequate. The restaurant is decent and looks very clean in the kitchen. I did not wake up in time to have any breakfasts but I ate a good dinner there almost every night. There is a mini-mart right down at the corner of the hotel’s street. The hotel has a nice coin washer and dryer for the guests…awesome (buy detergent at the mini-mart). All of the staff members are very friendly and very helpful. Best of all is the price. Consider this hotel for not only a close by the airport stay, but for your entire holiday in Bangkok. Yes it is away from the city by the airport, but it is so easy to flag a taxi at the mini-mart to go to the nearest Airport Rail Link (city line) station called Lat Krabang, which is only about a 10 minute/50 baht ride. Then from the Lat Krabang station it is only about a 40 minute/40 baht train ride into the city connecting to the BTS Skytrain transportation link or the MRT subway link before that…so easy. (Pick-up several different maps from the many booths at the airport arrivals level…and buy the best map of Bangkok by Groovymap.com (available from Amazon) before you come). The trains stop running at midnight which is an important consideration if you are a late partier. Ask the hotel staff to write the location of the hotel (Lat Krabang road 24) in Thai on a hotel business card. If you are not a late partier, the amount of money you save by staying out at this nice hotel with the minor inconvenience of about an hour of travel into the city and back is awesome, plus you are near the airport when leaving.

Really liked this hotel and the novelty of low flying planes constantly landing every 5 minutes never wore off.It is close to the airport and 50 Thb to the Latkrabang airport link which is 1 stop away from the airport and 6 fast stops away from city centre or you can get a taxi for Thb200 to city. This is a Villa resort style boutique hotel in a very strange location and priced accordingly currently undergoing renovation of large appartments at hte rear and a new pool with very little or no disruption to guests currently staying in the stylish villas. It is down the end of a very long road that is prone to flooding so use of their free shuttle bus or a taxi is necessary to go up or down this road but its worth it to experience this diamond in the rough. Enjoyed my stay and will return and reccomend this lovely villa style resort.

The U-Tiny Boutique Home is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Here are some of the awesome amenities that my partner and I made use of. 1.Shuttle Service: There is a free shuttle service to/from the airport. We made use of this not only for travel, but also for access to the airport express train that goes into central Bangkok, after which you can pick up the skytrain and go all over the city. 2. Food: Each morning there is a lovely breakfast buffet that is friendly to vegetarians. Another note, we went to a Thai cooking class. We brought back some of our dishes and the staff offered to warm these for us and provided plates. 3. Phone: We did not have a Thai SIM card (something I recommend if you will be traveling for a month or more), so the hotel loaned us a phone to make calls from during our time there. This phone was great as it helped us contact the hotel for pick-up at the end of our long day and also helped us schedule activities. Highly recommend!!!

The hotel is located only 3km away from the airport and though we could have requested the airport shuttle, we hired a taxi driver who had no problems finding the hotel. The location is best for a business traveler or those with layovers as the area is mostly residential and not much to see on foot. As soon as we arrived with a ton of luggage, the staff provided us with a big smile, a friendly welcome, and a helping hand. The hotel seems new or perhaps its the pristine premises that makes it look new still. The room was big enough to fit 6 big suitcases. The bed was extremely plush and the linens clean and comfortable. The furniture and room design were modern and also seemed new. The wireless internet and AC worked like a charm. We received 2 big bottles of complementary water and the dinner in the restaurant was well-priced and just fine. In fact, the food menu is quite extensive, especially for the size of the hotel. To the airport we took advantage of the clean hotel shuttle and it was much better than dealing with the taxi drivers. All in all, I am very glad I booked this hotel and highly recommend it for the previously mentioned type of travelers who want a clean, comfortable, and no-hassle experience. Having scoured the Agoda site for a Bangkok airport hotel, I can't imagine there being another comparable hotel offering better value.

Casa Narinya @ Suvarnabhumi Airport is located in Lat Krabang, 2.5 km from Suvarnabhumi International Airport, catch a short trip taxi for 150 baht at the short trip airport transfer counter. . The hotel offei free Wi-Fi throughout the property, it has a restaurant and free parking. The big clean room come with Air-conditioned rooms come with a balcony and a small dining area. Each room has cable TV, a fan, and a fridge. Private bathrooms provide shower facilities. Staff scheduled a taxi for me,150THB to the airport, took less than 10 min. There are places to eat and such very close. and 5 mins walk to the main street where you can find a 7/11 mart and local eatery. The place is quiet , no traffic noise, have a good rest for my next flight. Value for money a good air conditioning, and wifi ....great place to stay overnight..

There are several cheap hotels on this street but this one is excellent for 2 reasons: airport pickup and close to good mall. Note: for pickup just ask all the small hotel people milling around door 4. Regent does have a sign but your name is probably on it. You may wait a few minutes for the ride as they try to consolidate. Agoda checkin was smooth. Elevator to 4th floor room which was not 5 star (small chips out of furniture etc.) but was large and mine came with air, fridge and balcony. The shopping centre is only about 2 blocks away and has everything you need including cheaper stores. Many cheap restaurants and a few in the "food court" (closer to the road) with $3 Thai meals. Wake-call was correct and staff are cordial without being over-friendly. Just want I want with an airport layover. Well done Regent!

Not the best area(people) but close to shops and market. Please avoid booking this hotel if you're travelling with kids. Its not the hotel fault but just our bad luck. We came the same day with the chinese tour. Whole night the whole floor was extremely loud and noisy. They kept waking up the kids. The staffs were nice trying their best to help but unfortunately the tour was out of control. You won't be able to get a peaceful stay and sleep. The door issue was built poorly. Not blocking any noise whatsoever. On the other hand they installed some stupid system that you can not leave the door open for more that 3 secs. The alarm will go off like crazy. Can you imagine how are you going to have a peaceful sleep without the interuption from your next door or the whole floor guests.

My wife and I stayed the night of Sunday, 15 August 2010, and we both thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We used it for what it is, a convenient overnight stopping hotel very near the airport. The staff were professional and attentive. There are two internet-enabled PCs in the lobby for the use of guests, free of charge, and wireless internet too (though don't take laptop on holiday so can't comment on the wireless). The room was spotless with large flatscreen TV, decent decor, nice bathroom and the double bed was large and very comfortable. There was also a little balcony with ashtray for smokers. I had booked an airport transfer for the following morning at 0645h, they provide one-way to or from the airport, but the driver disappeared somewhere, so the receptionist flagged down a taxi for us straightaway and paid for the trip. This is easily the best hotel I have stayed in on the Ladkrabang Road and will do again when I am in BKK next.
