"Great hostel within walking distance of market and several cheap restaurants. Comfy beds with privacy curtains, lockers, personal lamp and light. Chilled but social atmosphere which is great for solo travellers. Small kitchenette available w/ fridge and microwave as well as free tea/coffee/water all day. Staff are very friendly and helpful - able to answer my numerous questions re: different options for getting to Laos as well as booking a taxi for us to visit the White Temple. Highly recommend!"

"tayed from 14/08/2016-20-08/206. Hotel looks alright, simple decorations, large bed and low floor as per requested. Toilet is clean but i would suggest the shower water could be bigger because it is really too small. Maybe i come at the monsoon season thus there are many ants, you cant put any food on the table literally. Hotel is just walking distance to Night Bazzar, wet market, temples, and the its just in the city area, you won't scare going hungry. Wifi works well in the room and there are AXN channels. Would suggest the hotel to either have a fridge or a safe or both would be the best. Receptionist are all very friendly and speaks English! Will come back and stay again and also recommend to my friends! Kob kun ka!"

"The hotel is in a very good location. 4-5 blocks away from the clock tower, 7-10 min walk to Wat Phra Kaew, 10-15-min walk to the City Navel Monument or Night Bazaar, 20-min walk to King Mengrai Monument. The room I got was in pretty good condition and spacious. House cleaning do their job well! The hotel has a food hall, but I think it is open only for breakfast. But, breakfast is an option, besides it is near to some very excellent food canteens frequented by locals, so food is not an issue whenever staying here. All in all, B2 Chiang Rai Hotel is highly recommended!"

"We stayed in this hotel, we saw the reviews when we already booked and were afraid of what we would see... but it was nothing in what some negative reviews wrote. The new owner or manager did a great job! We had a family room which had the largest bed we had ever seen or slept in. It was 2,5 meters wide! It had soft sheets and had a good soft matras.. The room was very clean and tidy. The breakfast is great, the food was constantly provided when plates were empty. Staff very friendly and helpful. We have stayed in many hotels, you can compare it (if you know them) with a very good 5 star hotel in Turkey. I would recommend it to my friends, you will see for yourself if you are in the hotel... "Shouldn’t compare to Bangkok hotels of the same stars but I have no complaints. My room (409) was immaculate. Good size with bathroom and separate shower room. Bit mean with bottles of drinking water and coffee making sachets. Breakfast more than acceptable. Restaurant very good value and choice. Staff were helpful and charming."

We’ve got breakfast included and that was also very tasty. Will come back again when we want to stay in Chiang Rai. We were a group of 8 and booked 8 rooms. Brand new hotel!"

"I would say it’s like living in a hotel rather than staying in a hostel, staffs are super friendly and take his initiative t assist me to lift my luggage to the dorm. Perhaps due to the low season in MAY, the whole dormitory is empty and staffs are willing to communicate with me during breakfast time, and even fried more eggs to me though I am the only customer for the breakfast. The hostel environment is super nice and tidy, with modern design in dormitory, shower room and common room. These all factors contribute to the high rating of the hostel. If I have my next trip going to Chiang Rai, I would definitely stay here again in considering of the hostel’s location, environment and service standard. :)"

"Probably the best hotel I've found in all of Thailand. Location is good for the night market, visiting temples, eating, and the very limited bar scene of Chiang Rai. The only reason I gave 5 stars for the staff is - Agoda doesn't have 6 starts!!!"
