Nice close to AmazonCoffeshop Temples Nightmarket. Easy to reach with the free bycicle you can get at the Hotel. Neighbour is a Prison so the view from the room is a wall in case you like to stay in the room on the balcony to enjoy a view you wont have it at all. But nice littke garden with chairs and tables to sit. Breakfast for asian is realy tasty. Chicken or pirk rice soup. Western Toast with Margarine and horrible something they calle it Jam. Realy awfull. But thats the only thing to complain

this is truly one of the very best historic boutique hotels in northern thailand. the character of the 80-year old hotel has been retained, with added modern amenities. decor is lanna inspired and beautiful. service could not be better. located in the heart of the old town, just a block from the bustling morning market. breakfast is great ... but it would be nice if the restaurant were open for afternoon tea/coffee. an excellent experience.

Wow, I am so glad I booked this hotel after searching for many days online about hotels in Nan. Phumin Place is a beautiful haven, the rooms are huge and so comfortable and the staff are above and beyond helpful. The location is about a 5-second walk to the Night Market and Wat Phumin, but if you want to go further afield, the free bikes on offer are good quality and comfortable. Usually we skip breakfast, but definitely don't here: the breakfast is cooked by the owner's mother and it's high-quality, super tasty, authentic Northern Thai food. A real treat. Will DEFINITELY book here again when we come back to Nan, which, by the way, is an excellent city/province.

The hotel locates near Nan market and major Nan attractions like Wat Phumin and the National museum. It's about 30 minute walk to those attractions. The best thing about this hotel is its owner who made sure we had the most memorable stay in Nan. He and his guest truly lived up to Northern Thai's hospitality! He helped us booked the car to visit nearby national parks which were gorgeous and worth the time and effort. The driver, Jay, took us to the best sites in those parks and took good care of us for the whole time. Even though the hotel is just a boutique hotel but the breakfast served was quite nice with varieties of Thai and Western foods. However, they made the best pad Thai I ever had for our lunch meal! Room is average size but clean and comfortable.

Unequivocally, Nan Boutique Hotel is one of the, if not THE most delightful, pleasurable hotels in which I have ever stayed in SE Asia. My first visit to Nan; on arrival, I unfortunately found the hotel in which I was booked unsatisfactory. I moved to Nan Boutique Hotel. Delightful, comfortable, lovely hotel. Quiet location, tho' just minutes from the market, "Walking Street" (Saturdays, the main street becomes a pedestrian mall, selling all manner of products; from foodstuffs, to clothing, statuary, bric-a-brac, and more), the National Museum, parks, and many of Nan's exquisite temples. Superior Zen room: very comfortable, had everything: in-room safe, refrigerator, mini-bar (fresh fruit, snacks, juices complimentary), hair dryer, TV, air-conditioning, free wi-fi; bathroom: all facilities/accessories (shampoo, conditioner, body cream, etc.) Breakfast in Taz's Kafe,verandah level: very good a la carte menu selection & freshly brewed coffee (no instant coffee here!). I cannot speak highly enough of the staff at the Nan Boutique Hotel, particularly the young ladies/gentlemen @ Reception. Good knowledge of English and all of them so extraordinarily, genuinely caring of the well-being of guests. Sadly, my arrival in Nan was fraught with unfortunate experiences, but once I changed hotels & moved to the Nan Boutique, everything sorted itself out. My stay there was nothing short of perfection. The care & attention of Reception staff was exceptional: they wouldn't let me go to the Bus Terminal to purchase my reservation for my return to Chiang Mai but insisted on sending a staffer to purchase ticket for me. Truly above & beyond the call of duty! I highly recommend the Nan Boutique 1st choice in Nan. Deepest appreciation/thanks to the staff for extraordinary care & attention.

Dhevaraj Hotel was very pleasant. The rooms were smallish but they were modern looking and nicely done up with good lighting and furniture. Mattresses were very good, not too hard or too soft. Mini-bar available in the room. No tea/coffee making facilities, mini safe or hair dryer in the room. Also only one available power point in the room. Furniture was modern and enough storage space was provided. Air-con was excellent. Flat screen Cable TV was available including BBC World though only a few other English channels. Bathroom was smallish but one didn't feel too cramped, and also fairly modern. Shower with a small bath but a good shower with excellent water pressure Although we were on the top, 5th, floor, there wasn't much of a view, at least on our side as the buildings nearby were of a similar height. Breakfast was buffet style in the big Coffee Shop, good choice on both days but mainly Thai choices. The rest of the hotel is pleasantly decorated, in a modern fashion, with one large atrium going right up to the roof, which has access corridors to many of the rooms, plus another smaller atrium, where most of the rest of the rooms are located. Many of the corridors have two chairs and a small table outside each of the bedrooms where guests can sit and share a snack with friends or chat to other guests. A very nice feature. Internet WiFi in the room was provided for 30 baht for 2 hours, get the password from Reception. Plenty of car parking spaces available at the back of the hotel. We found the hotel staff to be generally friendly, maybe a little reserved sometimes. As well as Function Rooms, they have a Karaoke Bar, and also a good Massage Parlour. The hotel's location is excellent right on one of the main streets of Nan City right opposite the main market in Nan and within easy walking distance of many sights and the Riverside area. The Dhevaraj wasn't 4 or 5 star luxury but for a 3 star hotel we thought it was excellent.

Hotel is great in location and price However the bathroom is not so big. the shower and toilet is not separated, so it's wet all over. the room also not blocking the outside noise well. so you could hear people talking on a corridor or even other room, hear the sound of closing door or dropping thing. etc nearby has a famous restaurnt which is very good both in price and taste. there's 7-11 around. and it 5 mins walk to wat phu min.

The stay was ok. It's a Thai-Thai hotel. We wanted to check in shortly after 2 pm but they were not ready as they still had to iron some pillow cases. When we asked to change the room to the last one down the hallway, it was no problem. Breakfast was mediocre. No table/chairs available when we got there. The "buffet" is right next to the open kitchen and area where they clean the dishes. You will need a car and a good GPS to find this well-hidden hotel, or be ready to get lost in the maze of small streets. It's fine to stay here for a couple of nights. With a higher budget, stay closer to the river and the main sights/temples.

My wife and I stayed here for three nights in November 2017. The staff was very helpful, the facilities were excellent and roomy. We did use bicycles one day, but we are in our later 60's now and decided we were just as well off walking the 12 to 15 minutes to the town center. The hotel is very close -- just a few minutes -- to the night food market. One day we decided we wanted to go to two temples on the outskirts of town and the hotel staff contacted a taxi for us to see these two temples plus such other places as we could fit in with a time limit and fixed cost. The hotel also provided free transportation to the bus station for our departure.

Pros You will feel as a guest of a family, who will treat you with upmost privacy. The rooms are clean and decorated very nicely in a traditional style Excellent free espresso coffee for breakfast. Didn't try the standard American breakfast, but if you request a Thai dish by the Thai name they are happy to make for you as I enjoy savoury rice porridge(keow tom). Family atmosphere in the reception and dining area. Hotel is built out of two adjoining old Chinese shops, with all the original teak stairs and floors beautifully pollished(the same floor boards other reviews complained about, they were only minimally creaky) Services in the room were great water, aircon, drinking water etc. The biggest pro is the place is dirt cheap the price seemed to good to be true. Great location Cons Wifi not working on the night I stayed but I don't go on holiday to surf the net The staff don't speak English very well but do their best to communicate.

We used to visit this small town many times. We could see good and bad points of these hotels. Fah Place Hotel is one another with good location where we can walk to any places. The owner and staff are friendly. We were leaving early at 05.00 am. The hotel made an impressive morning call both by phone and door knock. Bike rent was easily returned at 05.00 am. after a half night use of it. The room was no window and bad air ventilation. It's non sense to increase price to higher floors since all rooms are the same. Generally, the higher is the cheaper because there is no elevator.
