"The Millennials Kyoto is not just for millennials, but for every traveler who wants the best value for their money. The hostel is very centrally located, near Gion District and just beside shops and restaurants. The hotel is very spacious. It has a very huge lounge, which has a complete kitchen, free coffee and tea, different sofas to be cozy in, an eating area, a meeting room, and a space to work with computers. The staff are very welcoming and accommodating. They are very kind and efficient. They speak English very well. The pod has a bed which turns into a sofa. It is very big and can fit 2. The room below the bed can fit a large luggage! You can also place your stuff on the shelf provided. The pod also has a unique feature - it can wake you up (alarm) by turning on the lights and the bed turs into a sofa so that there will be no noise to disturb the neighbors. The bathrooms are located in each floor. So there are sufficient number of toilets and showers per floor. Though the shower area can be improved by providing some sort of a shelf or more space to hang clothes. Otherwise, the shampoo and body wash are so good and smells so good. One more plus point is that the hostel provides free beer from 530-630pm. For me the Millennials Kyoto is best hostel I have stayed at."

"Location was good - closed to the Kyoto Shiyakusho-Mae station (Local subway), about 8 mins walking distance to Kawaramachi Station (for Hankyu Railway); about 8 mins walking distance to Sanjo Station (for Keihan Electric Railway). Able to walk to the Yasaka Shrine. Further 20 mins walk to Kiyomizu-dera. Can take either local subway or bus to the Kyoto Railway Station for the mega shopping malls with lots of nice dining. The hotel room itself is clean and compact which is not avoidable in Japan cities. "

"I booked the superior capsule and it's the best capsule I had so far in Japan. Unlike most capsule, I don't need to check out of my room if I stay for multiple nights here and there's also option to choose for cleaning service for the superior capsule (no extra charges). It's like a mini hotel room with your own desk and door and bed... but without a lock. To me that's good enough because the price is great! Bed wise is very comfortable, not too noisy with a huge TV screen. It's comparable to a sky suite. Locker is huge enough for you to put your luggage in as well as your bags and others items (you have upper and lower storage space in the locker). The capsule although within about 5-10 mins walk from train station, its location is great as situated opposite Takashimaya and the most happening street in Kyoto and next to Gion. I will definitely come back here again to stay if I want save some costs on my accommodation in Kyoto and yet comfortable enough."

"I stayed at this hotel for a night with my boyfriend and it was his birthday night. I requested to order a surprise cake for him but I booked 2 days before the trip. At the beginning, the staff replied it was not available to prepare the cake but they did try their best to order one for us!!!! I do really appreciate that!! The staff were very friendly and helpful! I will definitely stay at this hotel again. Good location and clean!"

"I’m a solo traveller who don’t mind a small room as Long as its cosy and clean! And only book it if you don’t mind sharing bathroom and toilet! I’m ok with all of this! The only downside if it’s best if the hotel provide boiling flask or boiling water! It will be good if It’s cold during winter when you need a hot drink or in the middle of the night you feel like having hot instant noodles! "

"I had a great stay at this hotel. My room was clean and had just enough space for me as I was traveling solo. I loved the design of the hotel and the staff we polite and helpful. They also had fee coffee in the lobby and a cute toiletries bag in your room which you could take home with you. The location is perfect for shopping, food, and exploring. There are two train stations within walking distance of the hotel and it was easy to get to from Kansai Airport. There was a 7 eleven close by also and some discount stores. I would definitely book again when I come to Kyoto next time with my family. Lovely hotel."

"for the 7 nights ive been in japan, ive stayed in 7 different capsule hotels in diffirent cities were i had to spend the night in japan. This has t ok be the best one out of service, cost, value for money and amenities provided. Its a very new capsule hotel aswel. I am a bit worried that for the price I paid, this capsule hotel is offering too much and may not make profit margins, hopefully not, as i will definately be booking here again when i go back to Kyoto."
