Myself and my 9 year old Daughter had 4 nights at the Nadias in a twin room on our way back from the UK. The location was fantastic, right next door to Cenang Mall where I could get my coffee from Starbucks each day. Access to the beach right across the road. Some construction taking place, however still access to the beach next to the construction site. No construction distruptions from our room. It was very comfortable, wonderfully clean and seen to each day by the cleaners. A great indoor pool for my Daughter to play in after the beach. I found the beds to be very comfortable so slept very well during our stay. Lots of restaurants and shops all along the street. A great French Crepe cafe as you turn left out of the hotel along the street a block. Worth a visit! I had the nutella and banana one :) This is the second time I have been to Langkawi and it is definitely my go to place for a short holiday. The beach has white sand and murky turquoise water (not good for snorkelling) but is beautiful and clean. The beach is quiet during the day and then at sunset, people flock there. The sunsets are incredible!! Water sports in abundance. We did the paraseiling off the boat which is worth it and a safer option than doing it from the sand. We also did jetskiing for 30 mins on two of the days which was great fun for my Daughter and I. Beach bars lay their chairs and cushions out for sunset where you can enjoy a cocktail and take in the beauty of Langkawi on Cenang Beach. We will definitely be staying at Nadias next year on our next stopover from the UK back to Sydney. Thank you Nadias for making our stay so enjoyable! See you next year.

We stayed here for 3 nights and we were happy with this choice. It is only across road to beach (walkway through sandy beach resort across the road to beach) was quiet with good air con. Room was clean enough with comfy bed (hard but that's Asia) Shower was on bracket above toilet with no designated area and for a new hotel do not know why they did this but was fine for us. The towels were surprisingly thin for a hotel again that was only few years old. They asked for 50 myr deposit on checkin but don't know why as no mini bar and room paid in advance. Reception is at back of arcade of little shops so a little hard to find. Man at reception not particularly cheerful just did what he had to do! Pool was great (they did not provide pool towels) and no real close time that we were aware of so cooled off late at night. There are no buses on Langkawi with fixed taxi prices being 20 myr from airport to hotel and 30 myr to skybridge/cable car. Taxi stand is only 1 min walk left from exiting hotel. Found awesome bar on beach called yellow beach cafe with hanging chairs and been bags on sand (turn left once on beach can't miss it everything is yellow towards end of beach) breakfast was on roof top and quite simple but adequate (probably wouldn't pay the 20myr they were asking though had it not been incl in price!) as lots if eating places close by! Great views up top though.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Rooms quite spacious with amenities provided, especially the bed & pillows are so comfort, my kids just loved it so much! Friendly & helpful staff too. Just got some little inconvenience as the main lift was down for maintenance during our stay so we have to use the service lift which located outside the hotel. Best location! Right opposite Cenang mall where u can easy access to beach, boutiques, restaurants, cafe, food stalls, duty free shops etc by short walking distance. Will definitely stay here again whenever my next trip to Langkawi.

We stay at sunshine room which is above the shop lot. The hotel is located at pantai cenang, the duty free shop and red tomato restaurant at downstairs. Across the street is mcd and more options for restaurants. Yellow cafe is within 5min walking distance, we enjoyed and feel relaxed at the cenang beach. The room condition is good, clean and spacious. Everything is nice except for the room soundproofing is poor. Overall, the room has exceeded our expectation with the good price.

It was a perfect getaway for me and my sister. We stayed at the hotel most of the time just enjoying our room and the facilities and we already feel very happy. We even want to extend our stay but sadly we have work to go back to but we do plan to come back as it has been the best hotel experience for us. The hotel is located in Pantai Cenang which is among the popular beach in Langkawi but never once we feel disturbed during our stay. It is located at one end of the beach. Not many publics came to the beach hence it was a peaceful environment for us. If you are looking for peaceful and quiet environment this will be the perfect place/hotel to go with the perfect view. This hotel was mainly occupied by honeymooners/ retired couple as they don't have family rooms. We only saw 2 kids during our stay and they don't even make that much noise. We stayed in the beachfront room which we really recommend as you will have the nicest view to wake up to. The best thing about this hotel was the staffs. The staffs from the reception staffs to the maintainance staffs are super friendly and attentive which made our stay even more wonderful. They were really kind and helpful. The hotel may not be totally perfect as it is a four star hotel but the way the staff treated you just made you feel you are staying in a 5 star hotel. The food and spa were not that fantastic but again the wonderful staffs made us forget this little imperfections. The room service food price was reasonable to us and the best thing they don't have extra 6% gst nor the 10% service charge. Overall it's been a fantastic and unforgettable stay for us. We are definitely coming back next year.

It was a short escape from the city – Kuala Lumpur, 4 days of sun and beach fun in Langkawi. I was a bit hesitant at first while booking a room here. But our fears were unfounded. This is a great place to stay for a group of friends, now that Air Asia is making travel between Kuala Lumpur and Langkawi easy, Langkawi can easily become the alternative to travel. It takes the same to travel and facilities are better. We booked this hotel directly through Agoda. The chalets are really sufficient. That day when we arrived at the airport, we rent a car to find the White Lodge Chalet that we booked before, but we went round and round at the main road along Cenang beach twice to find the chalet. The actual location is in the bushes that opposite the Underwater World. The location was a little biased. But when we went into the White Lodge, we feel that the chalet is very neat and clean, white houses in a row and full of flowers in the middle of a courtyard. Check in was a breeze and done with a smile. We weren't planning to spend much time in the room, so opted for a budget hotel without much pretension. It takes the same to travel and facilities are better. The owner is an excellent gentleman and can be trusted for his reservation by word of mouth. The beach is about 5 minutes. The most important thing is surprised by the arrangement inside the room, White Lodge will placed fresh flowers every day in exquisite bed, TV, etc, there are toilets, fresh and clean, comfortable sleep. Rooms were big with a writing table and a couple of chairs with a coffee table.

Booking was done last minute but still get cheap price for 1 night. Mostly friendly staff except 1 person at reception counter who wore bright red lipstic who dont even look at me n busy with phone. We were assisted by her colleague instead. They allowed us to store our luggage while waiting to check in as we arrived early morning and after check out as our flight was late at night. This was very good. Clean and spacious room level 2 infront of the street. Able to fit 4 - 5 pax in a room. Spacious bathroom. Towel provided as well but no toiletries. Hotel is beautiful just like a castle from outside and in front of the street. Easy to find food n shopping. Next to mart. Walking distance to the beach side. Swimming pool so-so but still considered nice. They have adult and children pool. Have slides as well for those who want to try. Have gazebo near to the pool and its beautiful. Landscape is nice. Overal, i enjoyed n satisfied with the hotel. There are a lots of hotel choices in cenang and i will consider this place again to stay.

the motel is newbie and fresh paint. very clean and air cond cool as per guest wanted. staff really friendly and always gave the best service to guest. i and my group had a great vacation at langkawi as we just rental the car and island hopping package from the hotel. easy and trusted. the location is nearby to pantai chenang. walking distance about 5 mins. valuable for money and i will book the hotel again in future.! since the hotel is newbie, i suggest some facilities may be upgrade such as to install the light around the swimming pool , easy for guest to do a bbq dinner, to place iron boxs and hair dryer at every room so that guest easy to iron their cloth anytime. thank you.

Hotel: Very new and great ambience. Not even high season; but almost all rooms were full when we were there. Location: Very near to Langkawi International Airport - 10mins drive - free aiport transfer provided. Opposite a Mini Mart. In same building with Tour-desk and Clinic. Surrounded by restaurant and local stalls. 5-10mins relaxing-walk to the chenang beach passing by a large paddy field, buffalo farm & Meritus Pelangi Hotel. Right next to the 5-stars Meritus so you will get more clean & quiet beach, away from town-center, & Laman Paddy museum cafe for super-nice local food. Please try. Staff: Super-friendly and attentive manager & staffs; Ms Inaz & Ms Norra. All our tours - Island Hopping, Mangrove Kayaking, car rental to Skybridge & 7 Wells waterfall were booked by the staff and it was awesome. Only one-way airport transfer provided, so Ms Inaz offered to drop us at the airport on our last day. Room: Stayed in Room 110 - King Deluxe, it was super clean room, comfortable bed, hot shower, our favourite; natural lighted Bathroom. Housekeeping is doing a great job. Pool, Poolside cafe & Breakfast: Simple & delicious breakfast is served each morning at their poolside cafe. Limited choices on menu, but we highly recommend their delicious Soft-shell Crab Soba noodles & Beef Burger. We had a lot. Worth the price. Please stay here. It is a boutique hotel. Thumbs up! :)

The hotel is very close to shops, Underwater World, restaurants. Walking distance to beach. Very large parking area so no parking issues here. Room is clean, large and comfortable. Swimming pool is big and nice, also has a pleasant view of the beach but it is not really taken care of (beer bottles, trash, even empty and rusty electric kettles are everywhere). The hotel is still under construction but there is no loud sounds. Overall, quite pleasant stay. Just hoping that the pool is cleaned just like the rooms.

smooth check in. staff speaks basic english. if you want them to make room everyday, inform them else they would not. have to ask for water everyday. relatively clean room however there were 5mm tiny roaches that i had killed. you may find spider webs along the corners of the room. big comfy bed with thick blanket. soft pillows. bed has a few short curly hair like those from the leg. room doesnt stink. there is kettle, fridge, glasses, tea, plates, spoon provided. towels. toilet paper. bring ur own shampoo and body soap. there is handwash soap. hot water from shower is good however water pressure is medium. no cable tv, local channels only. hotel close to beach about 10mins walk. slightly away from the crowded area. free on site parking althou is a bit cramp. gd to park and walk down the st to explore.

Superb location as it locate in the Main Street of Cenang beach, just right in front of Underwater World. Staff very friendly and helpful especially Sara, she even help us to arrange for car booking and follow up at late evening. Hotel is still under renovation but the room are perfect, all utilities are new and room are clean. Just little bit concern as you may easily heard people talking or car passed by since balcony just faced to Main Street. Overall present stay with value money!

It's Great! Me and my fellow uni friend stayed in The Village Langkawi for only three nights. It already made us feel like home and missed it so much while we were leaving. It's very natural (cattle are all around and chicken woke us up every morning) and a good night view (thousands of millions stars can be seen in the sky). The hotel itself is good. The bed is very comfortable. Wifi is strong. And the host of the Hotel allowed us to use the frige. They also helped us to take care of our stuff even though we'd checked out. Five minutes' walk to Pantai Ceneng main road (which all restaurants and shops are around) and Pantai Cenang beach as well. Ten minutes to Airport. All in all, recommend The Village Langkawi to everyone!

I was actually pleasantly surprised upon checking in to the unit last time. Not only they allowed me to check in relatively early, the process was also so easy. The room was quite spacious, very clean and looked new. All the basic needs are provided. Would definitely stay there again. Travellers are advised to have own transportation for easy access as it is slightly on the outskirts of Cenang beach.

The room is fairly basic but clean with a comfortable bed. The location if off the beach which makes it more quiet, however it is not too far to walk. After being in Langkawi I would not choose to stay in the beach area, as it is much more crowded, dirty and noisy. Near the motel are some local food places which were cheap, good and popular by locals (Mangga 2). We hired bicycle so going to the beach took us only a few minutes. The staff doesn't speak English but he immediately called someone who can, he was a very pleasant man and attentive to our request. I would definitely stay in this motel again.

Booked the hotel for a superior room with breakfast thru Agoda and went there with 2 other friends for 1 night stay. The hotel location is shown wrong in google maps and also in Waze. I don't know how to correct it though.. But the hotel location shown in Agoda is correct. The breakfast provided is so so. Not very grand nor poor. It was simple and nice. But It can be improved better. The hotel room is spacious and clean. The bathroom is nicely done and also clean. Only problem is the shower pressure in my room is not very high and water temperature for me is not sufficient. Hotel room may smell different from room to room. My friend said his room has a little odour, but tolerable. Mine was fine. Let me come down to the list of pro's and con's : pros: - Clean and spacious room - Secure. The room is secured by a touch card lock system. - Room comes with a sofa and a flat screen tv. - Very quite at night since there is no pubs or bars around there. - Friendly staffs - Walking distance to Cenang beach and Cenang road. Cons: - Road leading to the hotel is potholed and quite bad especially when it rains. - Quite difficult to locate the hotel without any signboards and directions, plus GPS (google and waze) showing different location than the actual location. - Bathroom shower pressure quite low and shower not hot enough for me. - Breakfast provided is just OK. Not grand and can be improved with more variety of choices. - No lift. Only stairs ( as far as I noticed). So, it may cause problem for anyone who have trouble climbing flight of stairs especially if they got their room on the 3rd floor.
