fabulous hotel and worth the money. rooms are very spacious, especially for taiwan, and bathrooms are luxurious with jacuzzi tubs and big roomy showers. the restaurants are plentiful--i think there are three or four in the hotel alone--and the food is delicious. i got room service one night and the salmon was the best i'd ever had. the spa and fitness center are great and well equipped. service is excellent; most staff speak perfect english (much better than my chinese!) and are willing to do anything and everything to meet your needs. they helped me arrange transportation to and from the airport at 5:00am. good location very near the zhongli night market, but i would not recommend coming to this town. it is run down and kind of creepy, with a lot of betel nut stands and closed down buildings. however, the night market is one of the best i've ever been to--it has a lot variety (i.e. a guy selling turkish cakes, snake soup, cotton candy, etc.) and is much more spacious than most night markets in taiwan. the area is not that great, but if you have to leave for the airport, don't stay anywhere else! it's almost worth the trip to zhongli just to stay here, go to the spa and eat the food!

This hotel was such a pleasant experience. We live in Taiwan and have stayed in many hotels around the island and this one is one of the best. The rooms are clean and don't smell like cigarette as in most places we've stayed, including 5 stars hotels. It is a family oriented place so there were lots of kids, but the room sound isolation was quite good. We had dinner in the dim sum style restaurant and the food was amazing, the price was good for the portions you get. The facilities are nice and well maintained. The breakfast was delicious, there's a huge variety, in my opinion the best hotel breakfast we've had in Taiwan. I'm vegan and there were tons of options for me. And finally the hydromassage pool was so good, you go through different stops that are numbered and massage different muscles, by the very end you feel so relaxed, I loved it. Oh! Also the hot spring tub and area in the room is very clean and spacious. All in all our experience in this place was amazing.

We stayed in this Fullon Hotel Jhongli for few times and mostly for a day before we depart back to our country. It's because this hotel is very near to giant night market which is Jhongli night market. Room especially spaces and wide very comfortable and although centrally located around train, bus station and shopping area but it is very quiet in the room. I believed it's because there is a sound blocked well built for the windows. So it's actually quiet inside the room itself. I always request for high floor and not to disappointed this hotel really gave me the high floor I need everytimes. I can't count how many times I been stayed in this hotel already and it is my choice everytimes we visiting Jhongli Tao Yuan. Thank you for Fullon Hotels Jhongli. Surely we will come back again.

To us this is the best hotel in Zhongli as the location is near the Zhongli Railway & Bus Station about 15 mins walk. Breakfast is simple with variety of bread, noodle, porridge, soup, fruits, salad & few other side dishes. Hotel guests are served with fried egg with ham, cup of juice / fresh milk & fresh fruit. Overall cleanliness is good and they supply toiletries like combs, toothbrushes w/toothpaste, shaving razors & other basic items.

Free upgrade due to existing double bed room no available (it's quite standard, but I mean with this price u find no way they gave this privilege. Least if all, they aint offering a smoking or single bed room if pretty lucky). The staff is nice, helpful & details explanation. Free mineral water is honored the most, yet they provide free water dispense at lobby. 500m away from XinMing Zhongli night market. Room facilities & accessories is enough. Green tean, 3in1 coffee, 3in1 milk tea, shower cap, toothbrush & paste, comb set, hair blower, TBC taiwan TV channel, refrigerator, USB power port, multiple lamp switch, etc. Sound proof is acceptable to me since i was passed out due to too tired. It can hear a bit of noise from outside or next door during open/close. As for the price, it ain't bad! Worth it!

This is a super value for money hotel. Right beside Huanbei MRT Station. Spacious and cheerful room decor. Clean and modern fittings. Tasty Taiwan Buffet Breakfast especially the thick and not so sweet soy milk. 10 mins walk to the Zhongli Night Market. 15 mins walk to Carrefour. Just what I needed for my final night stay before heading to Taoyuan International Airport which is just several MRT stations away.

The hotel is an old building but newly renovated. The standard double room is spacious but the bathroom does need an upgrade. The lady staff behind the desk is extremely helpful and always cheer you with a smile. There is a Sogo Department Store within 15 min walk and the Zhongli Night Market is about 25 min on foot. For budget traveler, without doubt it's the first choice.

We stayed here for 5 nights on 2/3/2015, I've been travelling a lot and this was my first stay in Taoyuan city,it was the best ever 4-star hotel I've ever stayed i can said. The 1st day i step into this hotel i can feel the comfort, pleasant and kindness from the ground staff till the last day we left. Even they have only 2-3 staff on duty everyday, we were well taken care by in every details. They were so helpful, carry smiles and greeting every minute you pass them. I was given a free upgrade, and this boutique hotel is brand new in Taoyuan, 5-10 minutes to Zhongli night market and 5-10 minutes to the nearest station. Around the hotel there are lots of eateries, shops and convenient store. They also provide self free laundry service at the roof top and coffee machine at the lobby. We really enjoy our stayed in Hotel Mu and for sure will be back again whenever I'll be in Taoyuan.

Having stayed just down the street with a business partner at a much more expensive hotel, I chose Lotus Yuan for less expensive accommodation after he left. It suited my needs as a 63 year old English speaking businessman, nothing fancy, but clean and friendly. I had no problem booking at a moments notice, which suited my schedule. My van wouldn't fit in their underground garage so I parked next door and they refunded my parking fees. The Asian breakfast was fresh and tasty, with a huge selection of vegetables, steamed buns and good coffee. It's a safe,short walk to the night market area or downtown and a convenient location to get on the 114 or the freeways. Pleasant experience!

frankly, we were very disappointed when we arrived at the building. it looked like an old office block with no indication that this is a hotel. we were ushered to the the lift that took us to the 23rd floor that house the hotel lobby. it was one of those traditional and old fashion hotel lobby reminiscent of the 80s.let's just say this hotel has seen beter day sand passes it prime. however, we were very surprised by the size of our room. it was huge! we booked a junior suite and it turns our much bigger than we anticipated. it was at least 1.5 times the size of our suites we have stayed in and even bigger than our 2 900 sft condo apartment back in singapore.this was a great room, abielt still rather stuck in the 80s in its decor. we need some directions to a few tourist attractions including sun moon lake and the hsr station to get to taichung and the concierge a mr peter azuma was just superb. he researched all the details for us, printed the relevant materials and even called his wife at the visitor center at sun moon lake to take care of us. the porter was also exceptionally helpful and making all the taxi arrangements throughout our stay. all our misgivings about the facilities and age of the hotel vanished into thin air with this kind of staff and service, all the hotel needs is a major refurbishment to spruce up its appearance,then it should be able to rank alongside the very best in its category.

i stayed in a deluxe room and it was really nice. the bed was as soft as a cloud, the sheets were soft, and there was a tub in the bathroom. they also had a hot/cold water dispenser in the room, which was real nice. it took about 5-8 minutes to walk to zhongli station which is great. same thing for the bus terminals which are on the other side of the station. great if you want to go to leo foo village, or window on china, as there is a bus that goes right to the parks. there is also a bus that goes to taoyuan international airport. the breakfast and night snack were so-so. i'm sure it would appeal to taiwanese people, but it didn't to me.

Hotel is quite a bit of walking distance from ZhongLi Station. 15-20 walking distance. Service was quite good. It's not a new hotel, it has aged but the quality is still not too bad. TV provided. Hot and cold water dispenser in the room is very convenient. Free cup noodles given. Toiletries are good water pressure and temperature is good. Some food stalls and shop nearby. Also the main night market is nearby though didn't get to visit due to rain and late.

Part 2: Checking-in and out were easy and immediate and had no problems despite arriving at past 2am. We were immediately handed our room key, located at the 9th floor. Upon entering, the room had a distinct smell that I can’t describe but eventually got used to it. The room has ample space to move around. No closet, just hooks with 2 hangers. The bathroom was large, which we appreciated and water pressure was good. The hot and cold mechanism for the shower was simple and easy to use. We had twin beds and we found them comfortable, with 2 fluffy pillows on each bed. I earlier said not to be intimidated, because the location might not be as good, but the room we had was almost comparable to 4-star hotels. It was clean and the aircon was quiet and working well. No in-room bar, though, but not really a problem. TV channels are all Taiwanese so we weren’t able to use it. Breakfast buffet has several options, but really did not appeal to us as their menus are all Taiwanese food (we think). They provide all basic stuff including slippers. In summary, we liked our stay at Lido Holiday and with the amount we paid we like it better as it’s true value for money.

Very convenient cox located just opposite zhongli train station (rear exit). The name in chinese is "ri han" 日涵 hotel. 1 min walk. Zhongli train station (front exit) has rows and rows of food/shopping stores. Night markets are quite a distance but can cycle using ubike. bus station (located at train station rear exit) to go to Daxi Old Street is just 1min walk away from hotel.

Room was comfortable enough. But I found it odd that a cigarette stub was floating in the toilet bowl when I checked in. I had requested a non-smoking room. I laid down for a nap, but was awoken by hotel staff who informed me that she had checked me into the wrong room. other guests had already checked into the room in which i was resting, even though there was no sign (other than the cigarette butt in the toilet bowl) of anyone having been in the room. I was asked to move to another room. i had reserved the room at Clover House because I had a 6:00 am flight the next morning and wanted to be near Taoyuan airport. Actually, Clover House is not that close to the airport. Perhaps a 20 minute taxi ride at 4:00 am when there is virtually no traffic. i went out for a walk around the neighborhood. i found a hole-in-the-wall with good food. also found a good chinese medicine massage.

The room was delightful, and the bed really comfortable. Downstairs from hotel is a 7-11. The best part about this hotel was the service, as my nephew and I could not find the night market, but one of the clerks took us there. Wow. I actually can find nothing negative to say about this place, since the room and everything else completely exceeded expectations. For the cheap price, I have never stayed anywhere better.

We had a comfortable stay. The room is spacious, with a king sized bed. The toilet is also very spacious, accommodating a shower glass enclosure and a bath tub. The hotel is located on the 9th-12th floor of the building; the 3rd & 4th floor is occupied by JC Park食尚廣場中壢中正館, with different types of restaurants (Chinese/Korean/Japanese BBQ/hot pot, Japanese curry, etc) - popular with the locals. The 5th-8th floors are carpark. The hotel lobby and breakfast area are on the 10th floor. The hotel is a stone throw away from Zhongli Railway Station, the future Zhongli MRT station (of Taoyuan Metro), and bus stations/terminals for public buses and long distance coaches. The hotel is also located in a commercial district, which is very popular with the local youths.
