The room is a bit small. So kinda difficult to move around for two. The bathroom is on the other side. Need to bring your own slippers. The staff are very friendly. Convenient location.

Converted rooms, true guest house
Had an enjoyable night at House 23 due to its location and a good bed, comfortable room with good lighting...but I must say I was mislead by their listing. This is probably a great dormitory place but as a couple we like traveling in private bedrooms with our bathroom. The rooms with bathrooms are described as having them en suite, private bathrooms are shared between a few rooms (the guest house only holds a number of rooms which makes it ideal to some) and so you must travel through the hall to it (use a key and lock each time). Bathroom itself is pretty basic and un air conditioned. Rooms are well air coned and cozy, but I also noted that I could hear everything in the next room a little clearer because they had once been one larger room that was partitioned off but not completely sealed. So, not all together pleased with these facts and how some of the pictures mislead me on here, but otherwise found the guest house quaint and unique.

Morning shift staff is lazy to do things
The staff who works in the morning is lazy to help us. We thought the front desk might help us to order taxi but she asked us to go catch by ourself. Also we asked for our luggage she was also lazy to help us to move the luggage and just asked us to take by ourself, sit there with the computer all the time. Don't feel she is a hardworking person and lazy to help her guest. Will think abt staying other place than here next time.

Friendliest Guesthouse
All attendants are friendly, humble and a good company. I'll never forget Ms. Na, Ms. Mam, Ms. Pa and Ms. Anne. They are angels. Happy individuals. =) Guesthouse is way better than hotels as you'll gain more friends :) Love, Mr. Irvin Ilog
