The location is excellent, and fresh fruits such as oranges, apples, pears, and bananas are served for free breakfast! However none was available at the front desk from around 10pm( we were trying to call and visited to get a bottle of water but none picked up the phone nor one showed up) and the door doesn't seem to be locked securely. The condition of bed mattress and blankets are worndown. They should have been thrown away.The mattress made a weird sound with barely no cushion and blanket/sheets are old and smelly. Further the bath room has sewer smell....which I can't stand so I had to pour my perfumed bath shower gels and keep the door close all the time.

Great location close to Scottsdale Art School”
Stayed here for an art workshop. It's very close to the Scottsdale Art school...within walking distance. Panera is close by which was great for grabbing breakfast before class. Shops, restaurants and galleries downtown are within walking distance as well. It's not fancy but very clean, nice, and great value for the money. Room inside was better than expected. Listing said breakfast included but it is not a full continental...just fruit and oatmeal. I would stay here again.

The male receptionist during afternoon shift needs a proper training, he was sarcastic when he told us to call the internet provider to fix our concern. In hospitality industry check in time must be handled with standard procedure in right manners and guest concerns has to be resolved attentively with in time frame. I did not expect an any kind of star service in such accommodation, but i expect a pleasant and polite Receptionist who will welcome me.

can't beat the price and location”
perfect budget stopover for Scottsdale. Walking distance to old town and the shopping of 5th Avenue and the art gallery district. Breakfast pretty basic but a short walk to several good coffee shops. The staff is very kind and helpful and free parking is a bonus. Around 20 minutes drive to downtown Phoenix. Second time I've stayed and will continue to do so if I need to return to Phoenix.
