Before booking I read the mixed reviews of Hideaway and I arrived with my expectations set and I must say I was pleasantly surprised and had a relaxing week. The pros are that the ocean view bure did indeed have a lovely view of the ocean with a large window and a small veranda with table and chairs. You could be on the beach in 10 seconds The room had a small fridge, a safe, the bed and pillows were comfy, and the AC worked just fine if not a little noisy, however I didn't always need the AC as it was reasonable cool. The staff were lovely, very attentive and friendly. The breakfast was good, buffet style with cooked food including scrambled eggs, baked beans, bacon etc. pancakes, cereal, toast, fruit, pasteries, juice, and tea and coffee. The cons were the lunch/dinner food I had at the resort was average, therefore I tended to visit other places to eat like the Tipsy Italian which is about 3.5 km away, however there are not a lot of places to eat nearby unless you travel to Korotogo, which is 15km away or Sigatoka which is a little further, so you'll need your own car or be happy to spend a lot on taxis which are very expensive from the resort. Also, the ocean view bure suited my needs, but I can see why people comment about them being a little dated, tired looking, needing some tlc, and a proper clean especially the shower as it was a bit grubby. However that didn't impact my stay, I had a wonderful relaxing time, and I would return again and I would also recommend it to friends with the caveat that it's not a fancy high end resort but it is a older style lovely relaxed type of resort.

From the moment we arrived at the airport lounge we felt the exceptional Marriott service. Warmly greeted by wonderful Vani at reception, we were taken care of and allocated rooms together with beach front access. Every staff member was awesome and a very special call out to lovely Wati and the wonderful Goji staff. A big thank you also to Ronny and all the ways the staff make us feel at home. The food is fantastic at Lagoon House and the Goji buffets are the best we’ve ever had. The water sports team were great and there is ready access to tennis, basketballs and volleyballs so the teens were super happy. Lots of complimentary perks including daily watermelon delivered to your lounger. Everything is clean and tidy and the host in the Pure Fiji shop was lovely. Our messy rooms were made beautiful by the staff daily and lots of bottled water is supplied. So many free activities, live music and lagoon swimming made it a perfect holiday. I would go back in a heartbeat to enjoy their hospitality, delicious food, perfect facilities and weather. Thank you also to Sala, Nate and Savenaca you made everyday awesome!🤩

Great hotel, great beach, great pool, overpriced food, staffs do not prioritize locals, room leaked and a stinge was present. Room service was late yet fees charged. Made a complaint to the front desk. All they said was we will look in to it. No apologies no compensation for a spoilt stay.

Wonderful pool, great swimming and staff are amazing. My teens had a great time with lots to do at the beach.

After attending a wedding at Pacific Harbor, I arrived late at night. The road from Queens Road was a dark country road, but when I arrived, the very bright staff warmly welcomed me, and I felt relieved. The villa, situated on a high point overlooking the sea, was very spacious with high ceilings, and the layout of the bathroom and other areas was convenient to use. The next day, after having breakfast, I took a walk in the large garden. It's great that kayak and snorkeling rentals are also free. It's a lovely place where I would like to spend at least 2 or 3 nights instead of just one.

We had the most incredible stay at The Beach House. The staff were amazing from start to finish. We stayed in the Hibiscus Room as a couple, it had 2 Queen beds, a single bed, plenty of space, and a clean, comfortable bathroom. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained. No pics as we made home as soon as we got in lol. One of the highlights was definitely the massage. An hour for only $40 is unbeatable, and it was so relaxing. Managing our room tab was also a breeze. The staff always confirmed our room number and name, and we paid halfway through our stay and again at the end with zero issues, something many other guests told us they struggled with at other resorts. My husband and I were craving kokoda (Fijian raw fish salad in coconut cream), so we asked the staff where we could find some. They went above and beyond and added it to the menu that same day! That’s the level of service we experienced throughout our stay, every question answered, every request taken seriously, and genuine care the whole way through. There are also great activities to book onsite through The Base Fiji. They offer river rafting, waterfall trips, fishing, snorkelling, Suva day tours, coconut leaf weaving and more. We chose the snorkelling trip and wow… it was magical. The coral was vibrant, Yanuca Island was breathtaking, and the island locals were so friendly. They also had beautiful handmade jewellery and shells for sale, definitely bring cash if you go. Huge shoutout to Matthew and Captain John, who looked after us on the water. They kept everyone safe and even surprised us with a detour to chase birds out at sea... which led to catching a big yellowfin tuna! For $15 you can request to have it cooked/cut up for you and your posse. Afternoon volleyball was another fun highlight. Such a good sweat under the sun and always a great vibe. Despite having a mix of families and adults around, the resort never felt packed or overwhelming. It kept that perfect chilled, relaxed atmosphere the entire time. Plenty of hammocks and beachside seating were always available, and the ocean breeze made even the hottest days feel comfortable. Food at the restaurant was always freshly cooked and delicious, and the bar staff were just as wonderful as the rest of the team. Overall, The Beach House is an absolute gem on the Coral Coast. We loved every minute and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxed, friendly, unforgettable stay.

I was surprised by a water outage on the first night of my arrival. When I asked the staff, it seemed to be due to a storm a few days prior. The room was spacious, which was nice, but I had trouble opening the balcony door. Additionally, there was quite a gap in the door, and I was surprised to find a bee coming in through it. This door needs repairing. It was convenient as it was about a 15-minute walk to the supermarket. There were also several restaurants, which I visited every day. You can only swim near high tide in the sea, but there were corals in some places, which was nice. The pool was large, but it was a bit murky, so I wasn't very inclined to swim. This is a good place to relax at a reasonable price.

The building seems old, but it is well maintained. The rooms are spacious and we were able to relax. The pool is small, but the water was clean and it was empty, so we enjoyed it. There are beach beds lined up across the road, which allowed us to leisurely enjoy the beach all day. In the sea, there are corals in places, so we could also enjoy snorkeling. A local bus stops in front of the hotel, making it easy to go to Sigatoka. The meals were also delicious. This hotel is recommended for a relaxing stay.

It's very convenient to get there by bus since it's along Queens Road. The pool is nice and the beach is right in front of the hotel, so we were able to enjoy swimming in the sea. The restaurant mainly serves curry, but it was not expensive and delicious. The staff were all friendly, and it was enjoyable. I especially appreciated Sunny's help with various things. I recommend this hotel.

We loved our stay at Crows Nest Resort. The value for money is fantastic, especially considering the location and the incredible ocean views. Every room has an ocean front view and both the restaurant and pool look straight out over the ocean, which made the whole stay feel so relaxing and special. Whilst the rooms are outdated, for the price you pay, we really didn’t think it was a big issue. Some of the more expensive resorts don’t even offer the same incredible views, so we felt the value here was hard to beat. It was also quiet for most of our stay, which we loved. It really gave us that peaceful, relaxed island holiday feeling and made it so easy to switch off and unwind. The staff were honestly one of the highlights. Everyone we came across was so friendly, welcoming and helpful and we genuinely couldn’t fault the service at all. The spa was also a wonderful addition, with a great range of treatments available during your stay. A very special mention to Mark from security, who was honestly the kindest human we met on our entire trip. He was so friendly, always had a smile and made us feel so welcome and safe ,he does a great job keeping everyone safe each night. We would absolutely stay here again (already planning it as we speak) and would highly recommend Crows Nest Resort. Fantastic value, beautiful views, a peaceful atmosphere and genuinely wonderful people.

Had a lovely three-night stay at Likuri. It's a great place to relax and unwind under an umbrella on the white-sand beach. Beachfront bure is perfect for a couple - very close to the beach, modern and comfortable. Food is good although not cheap. Can't drink the tap water but they give you a bottle per day and you can buy more. Good idea to take some bottled water if you can. Orders from the bar menu can take a while to appear. Friendly staff and the cultural show is entertaining. There are activities to do during the day too. Crab curry cooked on an open fire was delicious! Lovely Bobo massage in the spa. Recommended overall.

Nice property offering multiple activities, choice of cuisines and tours. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Would expect complimentary water and also a dental kit being four starred .

The location is unbeatable, right by the beach, making it perfect for sunbathing and strolls. The rooms are spacious and clean, offering a comfortable stay. While the staff is incredible friendly and attentive, housekeeping could use some improvement. Overall, it's a great spot for those looking to unwind by the ocean.

Loved our stay this week at Maui Palms! The villa rooms were an impressive size and beautiful inside. Food, service and staff were excellent. We loved the pool, tennis court and using the kayaks. There’s handy convenience stores and restaurants across the road, which are also great if you’re staying for a week.

The property offers a great location with beautiful beach views and spacious rooms that made for a comfortable sleep. The staff were friendly and helpful , enhancing the overall experience. However, the facilities felt limited and the breakfast was disappointing, which affected the overall value for money. Cleanly eas decent but could use some improvement.

First let me say that the place is definitely worth considering but you have to check carefully that it suits your circumstances as not everyone may enjoy it. A few drawbacks: - limited internet and mobile coverage which restricts your ability to enjoy internet content, plan or organise your trips, keep the kids occupied during downtime or evenings - quite far away from everything - kids activities, tours, shops. Either get a car, or prepare to get up early for long transportation trips - considering it's cost and cost of food, overall value is debatable Strengths: - Amazing staff that really cares. No fake smiles, no rolled eyes - just pure attention. 6 stars. Ask anything. - Remote secluded location which is quite, beautiful, not busy. If you don't like busy places and want a secluded tropical getaway (literally) - this is the spot - 5-star English speaking chef on-site, very flexible with custom requests, so you can customize your meals to your liking - Tropical features - pool, palm trees, fresh local coconut and papaya, ocean at the doorsteps, snorkeling gear - Clean, fresh accommodation, no signs of wear so far - Beautiful well maintained parkland - it's like living in a botanical garden. They undersell this - ask for a trip from the people who care after it, there is probably a hundred of different species of plants and flowers

Conveniently located near the beach, 30mins to local town, main road access with suitable 2 bedroom apartment style rooms & amenities, restaurant, supermarket and gas station close by. Amenities are exceptiona, but could do with minor upgrade of bathroom grouting, new entry door locks, luggage trolley availability as there are no elevators to get upstairs, no allocated parking lot. Loved our 2 nights stay and great family option.
