Nice stuff Fujii!”

We booked this one just a few days before we arrived, so we are kind of lack of information about Atami When we found this lovely city requires driving, we just came downstairs and asked Fujii san to help us for a car rental. He kept trying calling around 5 companies even we felt sorry for bothering him and already given up for a while, suddenly he said he made it and arranged all the process we need, that is a huge help for the random traveler like us. Except for the nice stuff, this hostel arranged for us a nice view room with big window, free and delicious breakfast, home-made style, fresh melon only for that day（how lucky we are!!）Tiny but cute onsen which relieve my stress off, really good for sleep tight. Acutally, I promise i ll visit it again when i come to atami.

Good clean hostel with small onsen facility”

Getting to the hostel is 700 yen from the train station. It is uphill walk of about 15 min. This was the first hostel we stayed ever and the experience was good. We got a tatami room with excellent view of the ocean. The room is clean but the sound proofing is not good as you could hear conversations from the other room. but then again, we were busy running about from the morning so did not really bother us.

Amazing”

It is a little far from the station but still walking distance, just bear in mind not to follow google map, it will lead you to a further route. The ocean view from the room is amazing, the room is japanese style with tatami which is really good way to experience japan culture. The Japanese breakfast is also really good. The taiwanese staff was really friendly and helpful, I had really good time there and made a new friend.

Excellent hostel!”

Excellent accommodation, facilities, and very friendly staff! It offers walking tour to let the tourists to experience the history and sightseeing in Atami! Also free of charge! Feel very great to stay here! Highly recommend with my friends and will come next time if come to Atami!

An excellent place to get rid of the busy city life”

This is an excellent hotel. With friendly staff and facilities. The free breakfast and late supper is a plus. Very clean place and nice Onsen. Strongly suggest you to drive there instead of going by train. It saves much time and you can totally relax! Will definitely visit again.

I spent my holiday there for a couple of days, in Atami it's almost impossible to find someone that's able to speak English, so everything depends on staffs, if they give you good advice so u could travel throughout the city easily like me. I had such a really great time there. Atami castle, Exotic museum and Erotic museum are really nice also. Walking through cherry blossom that's perfect. Thank you Mr. Mark, Mr. Sasaki and lots of people that I've found there that help me a lot, and took such a really great care of me.

This was an out of the way place for the town. You need to bring your own food or it is a walk back to town. Good for the Museum of Art. Everyone made me feel welcome and as a new western person to onset, they gave an excellent education in the do and don'ts of what to do. The staff were terrific and even though I arrived early, they were able to help. Looking forward to going back sometime.

Great place to stay and take a rest.”

The room with a very good sea view . Homemade breakfast for everyday which is tasted tasty.Hot Spring inside the hostel for everyone to relax. Although it has to take 15-20min to walk up the slope to arrive the hotel if you can’t catch up a bus or don’t drive car. Overall is good!

Great Accommodation with Great View”

The accommodation has great sea views from various locations within its premises. The staff were friendly and the place was extremely clean and well maintained during my stay. The only drawback is that the property can be quite difficult to find if you intend to walk there from the Atami JR Station. My advice is to take a cab from the Atami JR Station. The cost will be around 1000 yen or less and is totally worth it. Because although the hotel is located geographically near to the train station, much of the walk there is uphill. Using Google Map can be quite confusing due to the terrain and winding roads and you may end up walking in circles.

Traditional room with a View”

Great chance to live in a traditional room for a few nights. View is great, location quiet. The inhouse Onsen is small but OK, pitty there is no view from there on the sea, would really enhance the experience! Breakfast a bit to minimalist for our taste, nice staff.

A full-fledged Ryokan, with everything you need to simply relax and enjoy. I spent one night there. Ofuro facilities are small, but there was no one the time I used them, so they were pretty enoug for me :-) (unfortunately they were closed at the morning, so I could not use twice). Room was spatious, view was awesome. If you are hill-averse, you'll likely need a cab going from and to the station/restaurants, but otherwise I was able to get to the hotel easily by bus (and back to the city on a pleasant walk downhill). Would stay there again.

the breakfast, light supper and onsen were great! location is a bit off the track from the station, have to take the bus if you have luggage otherwise walkable. the staff are also very friendly.

True it is a hard slog uphill to get here but a cheap local bus makes it easy. Walk down is not a problem. Had an amazing view to watch the sunrise. Complimentary breakfast and other stuff is ace. More of a hotel hostel combination. Really friendly staff. Thanks
