I loved this hotel, had a room with view to 9 de Julio avenue which is an amazing view of the main avenue of Buenos Aires, the location of this hotel makes it very easy to reach anything of interest in the city and business wise was really useful, even thought there is not a restaurant there are plenty of really good one around at walking distance.

Sleek & modern, a hidden gem”
Great location for a hotel - just a couple of blocks from the intersection of Avenida 9 de Julio and Avenida de Mayo, where there is also a Subte (Metro) station. The hotel fit-out is sleek and modern. Rooms are high-ceilinged and has a loft. Bed and linen are comfortable. Bathroom is small though. There is not enough space to put your personal stuff in the vanity. As it is a loft apartment type, the lounge area is spaceous and a separate dining area and kitchen are also provided. Storage closets are aplenty. Breakfast is just ok, as there was no hot food (like eggs, sausage). The breakfast room and lobby design is great. Front desk staff are very helpful.

Great location, impressive room, excellent staff”
The hotel is well located to enjoy the town’s attractions and the great local food. We simply loved the amazing view of the Avenida 9 de Julio. The room was modern and very impressive, with large windows and comfortable bed and linen. The kitchen was useless but looking good. Breakfast buffet was very good. Staff was very helpful, spoke English, charged our cellphones and did their very best to make us feel awesome.

Amazing Room, Amazing Breakfast!”
Very cool loft rooms. Lots of space, interesting design. Located right on 9 de Julio, close to Microcenter. Lots of restaurants open during the day, but most closed at night. Super cool rooms. You won't want to leave. Breakfast (included) is brought to your room and you choose from an endless amount of food. I would definitely stay here again. Staff was great and very helpful.

Modern Luxury Appartements am 9. Julio ”
Room Mate Carlos Hotel is located close to 9. Julio in a nice Art Deco building. The appartements are on 2 floors with the bedroom and bathroom upstairs. You have a kitchen and living room with modern TV flatsceen. The room towords the main street 9. Julio are little bit noisy but you have a spectacular view to 9. Julio street on the top floors. The breakfast room is without daylight with a standard breakfast. Very nice peole at the reception give you a warm welcome.

Modern looking Hotel with a great customer service”
kudos to diana and her co-workers. very friendly staff and diana approved a late check out for 4 p.m. for our 2 days of stay in buenos aires. my wife and i enjoyed our stay at room mate carlos hotel-don't get fooled by the name room mate. old building but is quite hi tech and very well managed hotel we will return for our stay at this hotel on our next visit to buenos aires. i choose this hotel because of all the positive comments from fellow travelers.

Great personel, but lack of maintenance”
The bedding and the room were clean, but there was a clear lack of maintance (like the rest of Buenos Aires). Traffic noice from Ave 9 Julio. The service was great, but the maintenance of the building is far from the Room Mate hotels in Madrid and Barcelona. They better fix this or drop it from the Room Mate chain.

Large and comfort”
Location is good, my room is facing to Ave. 9 de Julio with big window which I like it. (a bit noise sometimes, but it's okay for me). The room size is nice too, two floors with high ceiling. The bed is comfortable. The following things bather us... 1. They forgot to close the door after house keeping!!! It was opened when we back hotel. 2. The maintenance of toilet is bad.

Unexpectedly spacious rooms - lofts!”
This was definitely a nice surprise. I stayed first night at another hotel where for the same price I had a room slightly bigger then my bed. Here I got a two story loft! Plus, nice modern interiors in a renovated nice building.The kitchen has no dishes and you can't cook but it's nice to have the space and a dining room. Since location is very central you get some noise from the street and the windows are not soundproof. Overall: I loved it and want to come back soon!

Loved the breakfast room service and the fact that is included. Hotel is a bargain and the staff specially the cleaning lady and the ladies that brought breakfast were super nice! The only negative is that the building is old and you can hear when people flush the toilet next door. We got a room that had the balcony facing the avenue and it was noisy but that was expected. Overall you can't beat what you get for the price.

great hotel with a great staff”
We stayed for 3 nights and it was great. The people are very helpful, we had to stay an extra night and they gave us the same room so we wouldnt have to change, despite the hotel was fully booked. New hotel, great mdern design, big rooms, very comfortable bed. Breakfast is ok, could be improved. Free wifi, which is a must these days, but a lot of hotels make you pay for it.

Great city Hotel”
I stayed there for 2 nights,as we weren't really happy with our previous stay on a Hostal/B&B. We just payed slightly more (7.-- usd per person), but you het way more with that. The breakfasr really deserves its name... The buffet style breakfast was huge and good.you can order eggs aswell. The staff is really helpful,speaks english. Rooms are very fancy and cool.and spacious.bathroom is big aswell and good showers.

Thehotel has a good location,2blocks to the next Subte entrance,the staff is really nice and helpful and they all speak english too. Nreakfast is buffet atyle,but compared to other hotels or hostels,it's really great and filling.rooms are nice appointed and cool designed.super comfi beds.

comfortable room, liked the concept of loft design”
It was quite comfortable stay in Carlos hotel, I like their design and loft concept of room it was nice and very big room. Room concept is good for couple, or big family not for solo traveller. They provoke themselves as four star but I dont think it should be rated as four star and price should be that high considering services you got. Breakfast is not included and there is no resturant in hotel and you have to walk bit for food services. There internet is centralised and have some problem. Cleaner comes every day for make up of room but they dont vaccume and due to cozy design you will not realise that there is dust on carpet and sofa.

Great location, very unique and large rooms.”
i satyed for 2 nights. most sorties were by foot, one by taxi, meaning the location is great. staff were very helpfull, my colegue needed a cellphone charger which they were happy to provide. room was huge!! well beyond the requirements including kitchen and livingroom. breakfast was also ok, not great. the safe box in the room was not bolted to anythink making it not safe at all...

OK, Bust a Completely ill-equipped Room”
really friendly and helpful staff. room that we got however was in the centre of the building and had 6 airconditers for what seemed like all of the surrounding apartments! as a result it was pretty noisey. other sore point was that the kithen was completely void of anything useful. no wine glasses.. no mugs.. no plates... no cutlery. as a result couldn't really eat or drink anything, nor even have a cup of tea! all of that said, the room was relatively spacious and comfortable, and as i said, staff were super-friendly and accomodating. checkout was 12pm which was great!
