i stay Hu house before 3days. you must booking here 1. every employee speak english. 2. Martet & Luipunk night market near Hotel.( 3min) 3. near MRT Line (5min) have a nice trip.

A Bit Dated But Conveniently Located in Kaohsiung”
This hotel is under new management and renovation a few months ago. They require some update as they were probably an old gem 40 years ago. Friendly staff and big dining hall for breakfast. They offer traditional Taiwanese breakfast which may not be all suitable for western travelers. I would go back and stay in future visits to Kaohsiung.

We got upgraded to a big quad room, room comfy and bright. Hotel is located within 5 minutes from the metro station. Room seems to be renovated before but the bathroom is old. However, the hairdryer is very lousy as it heats up easily and will stop working... Took me sooo long to fully dry my hair

Friendly Hotel to Stay in Kaohsiung”
The hotel needs to update, and it is under new management who took over in March/April 2019. It is conveniently located near MRT station (美麗島捷運站）and supermarket, drugstore nearby. It was an old gem at the time. The staff were friendly and offer great service. They only have traditional Taiwanese breakfast, so it may not work well for western travelers. I would go back after they renovate their hotel in the future.

It was a pleasant one. Just that Kaohsiung doesn't have much to do, would recommend going Taipei and other places like hualien, tainan etc, they are more fun and interesting!

Location is 5 mins walk to Kaohsiung Train Station and similarly to Liuhe Tourist Night Market. Condition and cleanliness of the room is acceptable.

Not too bad location”
The room we first got at level 6 is not good. Found two mini roaches hence the hygiene level is not good. The bathroom is very basic also with now shower curtain hence the water can splash out easily. The breakfast is consider not bad given the price we pay for the room hence not much complain for the food. The employees serving the breakfast on the other hand is not that fantastic. Rather unprofessional for an auntie to keep lecturing her newer colleague as well as ordering them around while she just stand aside doing nothing. The auntie is not very friendly as well.

Value for Money”
Hotel is near to Liuhe Night Market and most importantly it was just a 5 minute walk away from the MRT station. The room was spacious and well decorated. Breakfast was a little limited and the room light was a little too dim and there could've been more lights.

Pleasant stay ”
we were overall very happy with the place. Two comfy beds and clean bathroom. Super helpful front desk assistants and it's just located next to a night market (although there's nothing much there). Within walking distance to the MRT station !

Location is good, room is big”
Overall value for money becos the room is quite big and comfortable, just that the hotel itself is abit old. One of the front desk manager (forgot the name, he’s wearing specs & in his late 30s) is not polite as he uses a not-so-friendly tone when talking to us. However, there is no escalator or lift for the nearest mrt exit to hotel. Take note if u carry a huge luggage.

Old and dimmed room”
Despite the hotel is just located 300 meters away from the Liu He night market, the room is just fine for shower and sleep. The hotel room and bathroom is old and dim but clean. Please be extra conscious when you bath, the floor is slippery. Gym and swimming pool is not provided. The breakfast provided is more towards Chinese style with congee and Chinese dishes. They also provide bread, butter, jam, cheese slice and salad.

Have two different types of rooms”
We booked the hotel twice within a period of one week. The second room we got was much better than the first stay. The breakfast selection is not much but i guess is sufficient for the amount of money we are paying so overall the reception staff are all very friendly. The people serving the breakfast on the other hand wasnt too friendly.

Plenty of hotels in KHH with better condition”
Not a great stay. Hotel very old and outdated. No shower curtains in the 2 rooms I stayed in so made the floor all wet. Shower curtains are so cheap so don't understand this hotels logic. WiFi weak in some areas of the hotel. Rooms very old and need a desperate revamp. Will not stay here again
