Simple, no-frills stay”

Easy to find, about 10min walk from yeosu station and perhaps 15-20min walk from city centre (yi sun shin plaza). Noted that the counter is often unmanned but if you have a Korean phone number then it's convenient. Nil issues with security (a fairly safe country). Rooms are clean and the staff are helpful. Overall a good stay:)

Not easy for foreigners”

The checking time is after 3pm, I was arrived around 4. There is no one in the reception, I thought they just left temporary. But after one hour, there is no one showing up. I check the comment in google map, and realized that people have to phone the facility then someone will come to the guesthouse. I don't have local phones. In the end, I was using my phone to international roaming and made contacts! It's really frustrated and it likes they don't want to host foreigners! I suggested that they provide what's App ID and Line ID for guest to make contacts with them. It can make things smoothly. Otherwise , people bettet to choose another guesthouse.

I had a pleasant stay here. The staff is friendly, the room is very clean. I stay in female dorm and they have private bathroom for that room, small fridge, a TV, towel, kettle, locker and etc. For the price, I got everything that I need but they provide more than that! The location is very strategic, near Yeosu Expo Train Station, near the taxi stand so it is easy to get the taxi to go to bus terminal. Sure will stay again in future

We went to visit Odongdo Island.The hotel was near the just a walk away from train station and easily identifiable.Room was nice/clean with good facilities.very near to main attractions.will stay again and recommend to a friend!.

We stayed at 24 Guesthouse in Suncheon the night before and it was very nice. We got a terrific discount on Agoda for 24 Guesthouse in Yeosu, however, the building was an old one, and there was only some nice painting on the walls in the public areas. Inside the room, there was little done, the TV was tiny and cable package very poor, the room looked old and tired. Too bad a franchise doesn't have to maintain some standards of quality and cleanliness. For so cheap, it was okay, but if I paid more, I would have been very disappointed.

Great location, decent guesthouse”

The location was great. It's close to the expo park and aquarium. It's also a short bus ride away from Odongdo. The guesthouse itself was decent. There was no one at the front desk when we arrived around 6 or 7pm. We left our things at the front desk and then went out to walk around and eat dinner. When we got back at 9pm, there still wasn't anyone there. I noticed other people waiting for the people at the front desk as well. There was a sign in Korean on the table, but for travelers who can't read Korean or who don't have phones, it was pretty useless. Other than the check-in process, the guesthouse was pretty clean. :)

I don't know how others did it, but for a less-experienced traveler like me, whose knowledge in Hangul is level 1, I found it REALLY hard to find the guesthouse from the bus terminal. A kind ahjussi had to accompany me to the police station to help me find it. It is just across the Expo Station though, so you wouldn't have a hard time getting to it if you came by train. And that was very advantageous for me too, when I took the early morning train back to Seoul. But anyway, the guesthouse itself was nice, very clean. I stayed in a dorm room and had a locker to keep my valuables. Breakfast is better than most guesthouses - eggs, toast, jam, cereals, coffee - and a nice dining area to eat them. Receptionist was nice and kind. I'm not sure it was worth the price (stayed in better guesthouses that are much cheaper), but it could be that rates are more expensive in Yeosu.

like korean word DAEBAK!!~~ very helpful staff. Late check-in until 10 o'clock but the staff (i forget her name) was willing to wait until I arrived. Make a calls to makes sure i fine or not to get lost. I arrived late night at the pier and no taxis but the staff helped me book a taxi. So i arrived safely. Jjang!!

Really nice Guesthouse ”

I think it is one of the best guesthouses I have ever been. The staff was really nice, good breakfast, the location is also quite good. The room was not quitre big, but was very warm, clean and comfortable. If you go, you will not be dissapointed.

Close to station, clean and modern”

Possibly the first hostel you come to from the train station. Accommodation is modern, with comfy beds and they provide breakfast (toast, coffee, cereal). Slightly lacking in atmosphere though but definitely good to stay at if you just want to explore the town. Not a load of English spoken by the staff, but they were friendly enough. If you need tourist information then much better to go to the tourist information place at the station.

Glad I stayed at the 24 Guest House and already came back for another stay. Location right next to the 2012 Expo site and convention center. The rooms are simple with minimal furnitures, beds are quite hard. The pictures tell a pretty accurate story. The place is clean, quiet, staff is friendly, fast WiFi -- all I wanted, all I needed, at a great location and bargain prize.
