perfect stay in Koh Tao”

Very friendly staff, delucious Restaurant and very good to reach by foot from the pier. Beautiful relaxing sand beach. For partying, Bars are not far to reach. We stayed as a cupple and would really recommend Blue Diamond Beach.

Very nice stay next to the beach + fantastic POOL!”

We stayed for 2 nights (extended our stay) in the cheapest room they have, with the sea view. You get a huge terrace right above the beach, shared with 2 other rooms. Best thing ever! And the hotel open air pool is just fantastic. Breakfast was included, quite good. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Poor WiFi”

I have stayed here several times. The only let down is the poor WiFi signal in the Room and by the pool.. I had to buy a sim card!!! Otherwise this is a lovely resort run by a lovely Thai family. Breakfast is good and it's right on the Beach.

Lovely resort ”

Rooms are nice size, clean and hot showers. Great Pool and restaurant was next to the beach, perfect view each morning for breakfast, and short distance to Pier and other bar and restaurants. Would stay again.

fun!”

we stayed at this hotel for 3 nights after staying at the moondance magic view bungalow, the bungalow was very nice except it didn't have a hot shower (perfect for nature lovers). so when we first arrived at this hotel, we were so glad to have a nice hot shower after all the snorkeling . The room was decent with all the basic facilities (hot shower, tv and wifi). The restaurant was right next to the ocean, great view and the food was quite nice, too.

Great location but bit out-dated rooms”

The hotel is located just on the beach close to the port where the ferries and ships arrive. The restaurant of the hotel is located just on the beach and offers good food. The bungalows are located behind the restaurant, so not directly on the beach, and are a bit old. The hotel offers good value for money, we enjoyed our stay.

Comfy and casual”

As a travelling family of four with young kids we enjoyed the spacious villa, the wonderful pool, the beach-side setting and short access to the downtown area. It was quiet, good value for money and comfy. We would come back and stay again and would recommend to our friends and other family travelers.

Perfect for Mae Haad dive shops”

I had a lovely room overlooking the water. Just be aware this is a resort that is typical of Asia in that they have Wi-Fi but it doesn't work in the room. Down in the restaurant? No problem. In your room you are not going to get it to work. But the bathroom was new and modern. It was exactly what I needed. I was driving with Master Diver so the location was perfect for me. If you want more nightlife you might do better staying further up the hill or in Sairee. Still, it's only a 15 minute walk from Sairee

Staff not nice.”

The room was good. Swimming pool nice. Wifi works good. But the staff was not nice. The front desk work on limited hours, check out time was too early, 10am and breakfast started too late from 8am to 10am. So if you're going for a morning dive, which starts around 7 am some 7:30 am you end up missing the breakfast.

Great resort”

Great resort. Close to the Main Street where many shops and restaurants. Very nice and clean rooms, comfortable beds, kettle, safe. We had a pool access room with a deck that has wooden beds with direct access to the pool. Restaurant is just on the beach with great view, tasty food and not too late Ricky. They serve the breakfast until 13:00 which is perfect for late sleepers. Staff was very polite and friendly. Wifi was free with good coverage in room and all public areas, but was very slow. Highly recommend (!)

Blue Diamond Resort”

Overall very enjoyable stay. Pleasant staff, modern rooms, clean and comfortable. Nice grounds and pool. Nice restaurant and good food. Restaurant could benefit from some fans though, for days when no sea breeze (and to keep the Mosquitos and flies away).

Couple holiday”

I stuffed up our booking dates, but the staff did everything the change the dates for us and looked after us more than they were required to. You can't beat the position, walk to all shopping and amenities, walk to the main beach and bars. Will definitely be back to Blue Diamond...

100 steps from main pier, great view”

It was so nice to just walk from Pier, stayed a couple days in a beach front unit then moved north to the busier section of Saiwee. I always eat thai style breakfast and it was terrific. Nice beach there is a beach bar next door but seemed to shut down around 11PM, great spot we walked to scooter shop and rented a bike, you really need one the taxi's are spotty.

A Positive, Memorable Experience”

We had a great stay here, as a group of 4 (one couple and two friends) in two separate bungalows. The staff checked us in early and were very friendly and helpful with our requests. They set up an excellent private snorkeling tour for us that was affordable and also they rent scooters right at the hotel for cheaper than most places, which was very convenient. The staff seemed eager to please but was not in any way overbearing or pushy. We enjoyed eating at the restaurant with the view of the ocean and private beach. The beach is quite close to the pier so there are lots of boats around but if you walk along it a bit there is a nice area with rocks and the area in front of the hotel was fun to swim in, with nice sand. Also the hotel is just a short walk from the pier that the ferries load from. When exiting the ferry station, turn right and follow the road/alley for about a 3 minute walk and you will be at the Blue Diamond. It is not the cheapest place to stay in Koh Tao but for the convenient location and good service as well as comfortable room I thought it was a good value.

Very nice and quiet resort close to the town”

We really enjoyed staying here. It's walking distance to Mae Haad but yet away from the hazzle and noise at night. Nice and beautiful garden. Will definitively stay here next time. We come back every year and have tried a lot of places on this island, this is very nice.

enviroment is very good, and though it's near the pier, but quiet,and service also is good. ps: from the pier, only need around 5minutes walking,if you are not hurry to check-in, can try to find it by yourself.

Great location, comfy little bungalow”

We only stayed one night here but I would have liked to stay longer. The hotel is located at the end of the main street in Koh Tao when you come off the ferry. The restaurant/reception area is located right on the beach and the bungalows are located on the other side of the road, up the hill a bit. We had the first bungalow on the path. The room was very nice, clean, the only problem was both the sink and the toilet leaked at times. About a 3 minute walk to the beach and 10 minutes into the area with restaurants/bars. A much further walk to the other side of the island where there is much more shopping and such, but it was good for what we needed. Breakfast included was good, service/food in the restaurant was quite good as well. I would definitely recommend.

Great location”

the hotel is situated at a very good location. walk out from the hotel and you will easily find food along the street. nice beach with good entertainment at night time. but if you prefer a relax holiday,try to get a room far from beach side as it will be very noisy at night.

Good location & beautiful resort”

Nice resort located at a convenient place but no noise at night. Its restaurant is direct to the beach and food is good for value. Room is clean and service is good. I recommended this resort for my colleagues if they want to visit to Koh Tao.

Top Location”

Location is top. Right on the best beach imho on Ko-Tao. Breakfast is all day - you get coupons for each day of staying there and you can use them all the time, even if you move to another hotel. Staff is friendly and totally helpful. Loved it. The only problem was that the resort was about 30% overpriced, compared to others on the same beach.
