A szállodában felújítás folyik, de ez nem volt zavaró számunkra. A személyzet segítőkész, barátságos, A reggeli finom és bőséges.
Nagyon jó választás volt a hostel, hostelhez képest nagyon igényes, tiszta és felszerelt. Barcelona központjában helyezkedik el, könnyen elérhető minden a hostelből. Bulit is szerveznek, de pihenésre is tökéletes. Ajánlom mindenkinek, sokkal jobban megéri, mint egy 2 csillagos szálloda.
I've stayed here twice. Once with friends and once as a solo traveler. Great hostel, clean and great facilities. The check in can take a while but otherwise it is a great place to stay. My only suggestion would be that all bunks should have curtains. Some rooms none have curtains and some rooms only the top bunks to. For privacy and safety I would have preferred to have had the option to close a curtain as I slept. I felt a little exposed especially in a mixed dorm. It would be a simple addition that would make the stay perfect.
I travelled with my friend, and we made separate bookings but requested to be in the same room. Unfortunately, due to full occupancy, they couldn’t accommodate this, which was fine. If I had known in advance, I would have written to them earlier. Check-in was easy. We were asked to pay a tax of about €16, although I’m not sure what it was for. After that, we were asked to fill some info on the tab and given the room key cards. The room itself was nice, but we checked in late (around 9–10 p.m.) due to a delayed flight. Because everyone was already sleeping, we couldn’t turn on the lights. My bed was on the upper level, and the stairs creaked when I went up. The bed light was also too bright for others when I turned it on. People were snoring, and some guests had taken my storage drawer, which I couldn’t access without waking them. I left early the next morning, and when I returned, the drawer was still occupied. There is one small bathroom shared by four people, so you may need to wait if someone is using it. The area to hang clothes gets wet from the shower water. The handheld shower was great and definitely a plus. There is no space to open large luggage bags. If you need good-quality sleep, this may not be the right place,though it could work with an eye mask and earplugs, which I consider essential. I also recommend bringing a lock for your drawer locker. It is quite deep and can store a good amount of items. The staff offered a late check-out free of charge when requested. Towels are also provided free of charge.
Location is perfect, walk distance or by one bus to most of the tourist spots. Liked the neighbourhood very much, quite a few supermarket or boutique shops where can buy very healthy and natural groceries at good price. The staff is helpful and efficient, gives answers to all your questions quick and useful. The common area and terrace must explore, can do laundry, cooking or simply even sitting there quietly.
Casa Gracia is a very clean, stylish, and spacious hostel in an amazing location. I loved the overall vibe and decor. The rooms and bathrooms were both roomy and well-maintained, which made my stay comfortable. However, my initial experience with the receptionist was not pleasant. She came across as rude at first, only softening her tone after I asked for her name and it became clear I was getting irritated. After that, she was more pleasant and professional. Unfortunately, on my last night, the air conditioner in my room stopped working, which made the night uncomfortable. By the time I realized it, it was too late to contact staff for assistance. Despite those issues, I’d still say this is a great hostel. The location is perfect, the rooms are clean and spacious, and the atmosphere is unique and enjoyable. I would consider staying here again, but I hope they continue improving the consistency of their customer service.

My overall experience was good, though this is mainly due to the flexibility of the kind staff. The room I was first assigned was directly across the laundry loading area and I had a missing door to the shower. I requested a room change, which was smooth and without charge. This room was a level higher and much better as it was far quieter as you could not hear the work sounds from the laundry loading area. That said, the walls aren’t sound isolated and the window view of rooms leads to an inner vent situation, which limits the available sunlight. The location of Casa Gracia is great. There are shops, restaurants and supermarkets nearby as well as the public transportation options. My review is based on the combination of all aspects including the value for money.
We have enjoyed our staying in this accommodation. Comfy bed and daily cleaning and the view outside was pretty good. Luggage storage is 3 euro each, we were planning to keep for 30min to pick up our car and they still ask for this price so we decided to put our luggage back in the room lol
I booked and paid for a quad room with a view and balcony. This is not what we got. Our windows not have a core, nor did we have a balcony. When I asked at the front desk, the staff member claimed that she cannot see in her system that I paid for the room with a view and balcony. She told me I should contact agoda to see what went wrong. I asked her for a refund to reflect the correct room that we were assigned. The woman at the front desk said that would need to contact Agoda and get it from them. Agoda has not responded to me after several attempts. It's very disappointing. The location was great. The building was nice. When we tried to find the billiards room, someone, who I believe was a staff membertold us that there's no such thing. The pictures on the advertising website show that there is. Items out that those common rooms are at the restaurant adjacent, as well as in the restaurant's basement. There were some noisy guests. Bring ear plugs. The breakfast was fantastic!!! The coffee machines at breakfast were excellent. Buy the additional breakfast for sure. The common kitchen was also excellent and it had many common fridges. This place is in a safe and beautiful neighbourhood.
Stayed for 5 days. Lift was broken half the time. We had to use the service lift which was expectedly dirty. During the 5 days, we only got room service cleaning once, and only one set of towels was replaced even if there was two of us. I had to request for a towel from the lobby at 4pm, never got my towel until I spoke to one of the housekeepers when I encountered her around 10pm. Beds were uncomfortable. Only one pillow which was very thin I had to put a sweater under it. Noise level was bad. You hear conversations from the room beside us. You hear people from above and below. You hear people through the window that’s facing the inner air well (no view). Easily one of the most uncomfortable hotels in my travel experience. The location is top notch, however. Check-in was a breeze. Thankfully, check-out was also very easy as I really wanted to leave and never go back.
In a tony neighborhood, intersection of all Gaudi bldgs, great restaurants nearby, generous bfast (but Oassis next door or bakery on the corner is better), public transit, decent beds, communal kitchen w/ basics (but seal your food!), patio & living room. Very nice staff. Bag storage.
I often stay here since 2023. As the price of the rooms go up, the service goes down. Lights broken given the room is already so dark, loud AC, housekeeping coming to room in the morning without knocking or announcement. At one point bed was made but did not clean the toilet, bin not collected, sink still dirty, floor still have all my hair. Restaurant food was good and discount was a nice touch but I had to pay for ice even if I was dining and staying there.
The owners of this building seem to be letting it go. The common area inside is extremely uncomfortable to try work in as they don't have appropriate tables and chairs. I found it very difficult to work as I always always crouched on my back. I would try and use the outdoor area at the back but depending on the weather can be uncomfortable. Plus people smoke there. I then used the restaurant that's apart of the hotel to work and even though I told the staff what I was doing they didn't like it and made me feel uncomfortable. The location isn't super ideal, but it's ok. Last and important; it sells itself as a digital nomad hotel hostel..but most of the people checking in were parents and large groups of children. The staff in the hotel seem over worked with not enough support on the front desk. Also I had to change rooms twice because my bed was broken. And he second room because my AC didn't work. Overall just a bad experience
Our stay was good there are few noises that makes us wake up in the middle of the night. You can hear the people upstairs stomping their feets. Upside of this hotel was its near the estbalishments and tourist attractions that could be walked or you can take the train. Best seller for me was their breakfast super worth it! If you want a bang for your buck and dont want to think about where to eat breakfast? Stay here. If you are particular in rooms dont. I will be back 🙏🏼
Excellent location with good commute around the city, clean room, nice terrace and common areas in the hostel. Double room is really small with no shelfs to unpack. It's enough if you’re coming to the room just to sleep/rest
After booking seeing the google 1 star rating made more sense. Generally livable and good location but for the price, I would next time just go for a proper hotel. The room looked nothing like the photos - bare floor but freezing as a result, our window faced the inside wall so no view, bathroom was not that clean and the floors too. When we checked out they stored our bags for us which helped but there is a fee and they don't help you at all. The guy guiding us pointed where to put bags and then even though all large bags were on the ground in one room, he made us lift our bag into a high shelf on other room with no good answer. THe reception folks in general weren't the most friendly.
It’s good for budget and if you want to walk the city easily but the city tax is 5€ and check out time is 11:00, the cleaning staff comes at exactly 11:00 whether you’re sleeping or not and open all windows. But it’s not that bad just a bit of inconvenience. Good stay overall.
The place is really nice and clean. Comfortable bed and clean linen. Shared a room with 6 beds. Big kitchen to use. I did not like that the garden is closed very early and does not open again until too late in the morning. Other than that good place to stay
Got a private room with a king bed, private bathroom with a balcony overlooking the city for a very reasonable price given it was Primavera Sound week. Staff is wonderful and willing to help with anything. Location is a bit away from gothic quarter and stuff, but centrally located and taxis aren't an issue (walking isn't too bad either). Casa Gracia is the perfect mix of lively, classy, social, and private - beautiful and clean property. I don't know that I'd recommend Casa Gracia to travelers in, say, their 50s or 60s, but for me as a 32 year old solo traveler it was absolutely perfect. Cannot recommend enough.
When we first arrived we thought it was the wrong Casa Gracia because the lobby was so beautiful. Following that, every aspect of our experience in the hostel was amazing. The 2 lifts are old-fashioned elevators that are an experience to use. The glass floor of the lobby looks into the Nomaste room in the basement, which is beautifully decorated. They also offer free yoga lessons in the morning by @albafit in the Nomaste room (where you can see visitors coming in on the ceiling). I really enjoyed the interesting poses and inversions she adapted to our fitness level. The basement is also so cool, a mix between a mysterious quirky mansion and a bank vault. I highly recommend a visit to the donkey via the lift in the lobby. The room and bathroom are slightly smaller than usual, but still comfortable and clean. Free walking tours are available (with a tip after), our guide was so friendly, passionate, and punctual, we learnt a lot and had a great time. The Dow Jones bar is also nearby, we enjoyed our time there on our last night in Casa Gracia. This is definitely what I would recommend to any of my friends visiting Barcelona :)
Super friendly staff, helped us with a lot of things, were willing to upgrade us for a minor inconvenience. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, blackout curtains to sleep well and a great breakfast.
This place offers exceptional value for money with a fantastic location that makes exploring the area a breeze. the cleanliness it top notch and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Be prepared for noise at night which can affect sleep quality.
Beautiful property Excellent Location Clean rooms and common areas But I was disappointed with the fact that I got a room whose window faced walls of other rooms. Make sure to confirm the same. The possibility never crossed my mind while browsing the pictures. Otherwise it’s perfect.
I stayed to 3 different places in Barcelona and Casa Gracia is the best one. The receptionists are friendly and welcoming. I stayed in a standard single with private bathroom and the room is big enough, although the bed is a bit small. There’s also no working desk but they have common areas where you can work and eat. The kitchen is fully equipped and it’s also big. The location is great too. It’s on the Passeig de Gracia but not on the very busy part. There’s a restaurant, cafe and supermarket nearby. I would definitely stay here again.
We booked a room with a balcony and it was bright with street view. The room was basic (no TV or coffee/kettle) but it was all we needed. The most enjoyable amenities are the 2 large library lounges, kitchen and the terrace. The staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities clean. The location was perfect for long walks to attractions (20-30 min) (Sagrada Familia, gothic quarter) or steps away from metro/bus stations since it is located on one of the main streets. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Casa Gràcia. We love the facilities and its very central location. For a 2 star hotel , facilities are better than expected. Bed was comfortable with enough pillows and duvet. Shower has great water pressure and hot water supply was consistent . Breakfast has a good variety of choices , although I noticed that it was exactly the same the 2 times we ate. There’s a good bar and restaurant. Reception is handled by young and helpful people. They’re always ready with a smile, even when it can get busy. I also love that there’s plenty of spaces to hangout as well as a common kitchen you can use to cook some meals .
Location wise it's really nice as it's near to the metro station and few bus stops. It's right in the central so you are able to access all the attractions with no issue. The room is clean and quite big, there's no TV and kettle in the room, if you're staying in the apartment, you will need to go to another entrance next to the reception / bar. The breakfast selection is not that much but good enough! they also beautiful patio and common room.
Great location , next to Metro and major shopping street. Very comfortable bed/pillows and good breakfast. Staff were very helpful in making recommendations. Will definitely stay here again next time we are in Barcelona
Our stay was fantastic, the location was perfect for exploring the city, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The cleanliness was top-notch and the housekeeping did a great job. The room size was comfortable, and the transport options nearby made it convenient to get around. Although the facilities were good, there was some room for improvement. Overall, a highly recommended place to stay in Barcelona.
We loved our stay! Our family was very diverse in terms of needs from the accommodations we had. My parents wanted a place where they could relax, my brothers wanted a place that was central to the sights, I needed a place where I could comfortably work for 8 hours. Casa Gracia gave us what we each needed and much more! - Breakfast was close to hotel-buffet level - Beds were so comfortable we tried to find out what their mattress was so we could find them for our house - Staff were really nice and accommodating - Bathroom was spacious, modern, and clean - Room was big and had lots of natural light One of the best hostels I’ve seen and I’m very glad we booked there. 😊
1. We raised an issue about the airconditioning units, because absolutely no air is coming out from the unit. We asked for assistance and we were told that the temperature is controlled centrally and cannot be tinkered with in-room. Hence, the proposed solution is to open the windows which solved the problem but which unfortunately created another problem - our neighbors who cannot withstand the heat also opened their windows but are very noisy up to 1:00 in the morning. 2. The unexposed parts (under the bed, for instance) of the room are not cleaned thoroughly - it is dusty and when 1 of my items rolled into it, it gathered the dust immediately. There are many good things about the hotel though, which compensates for the above.
Overall, we absolutely loved this hotel and would come back again next time we are in the area. Great location, friendly staff both at the bar and checkin, affordable breakfast spread that offers a variety of options each morning, clean rooms with very very comfortable beds, soft oversized towels and cleaning service each day (if desired). This place is more like an upscale chic hostel - with shared common bedrooms, public kitchen (with all amenities), shared lounge spaces as well as private beds/baths. Very trendy decor and easy access to and from the street to the hotel rooms. The only drawback is that some of the private baths may be a bit tight and small (not too uncommon among many places however) but still VERY clean and functional!
Everything was great, but if you’re a light sleeper, don’t stay here unless headphones or earplugs work for you. The ac unit seemed to be more of a swamp cooler and it was very loud. It made a vibrating sound - the first day of our stay we thought one of our next door neighbors had their phone vibrating close to a wall but we realized it was a constant sound the unit made. Aside from that, and the fact that the room was very small compared to how it appeared in photos, everything else was great. Staff was exceptional, place was clean. Location is great.
Enjoyed my time at Casa Gracia. I really liked the common areas. It was perfect to hangout with friends. The rooms we chose were basic, but that could be expected as we chose the cheapest option. Beds were a bit small, but the bathroom was good. The room had a/c that could be adjusted. The hotel has free luggage storage if you arrive early, but leaving luggage after checkout costed 3 euros per piece. Location is located in walking distance to 2 metro lines and in the center of shopping areas. Very easy to access all of Barcelona from this location.
The room was nice and clean. They allowed us to leave our bags and explore the city and come back after 3pm for check in. Same with checkout. Interesting bar area. Our room had a private bathroom. The only issue we had is the aircon did not work so the room was extremely hot and stuffy. The walls are quite thin and not sound proof so lots of noise at night however I was too exhausted from my day of exploring and slept just fine. We stayed on the 3rd floor and the elevator is quite an interesting part of the hotel. Really recommend this gem of a place.
My partner and I stayed for 4 nights at Casa Gracia. Positives : The location was great, right next to metro and also had lots of places to eat and drink within a 5 min walk. The staff were friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed sitting outside in the terrace. The room was clean and well-stocked with toiletries Cons: The corridors were slightly noisy at night but there was a group of school children staying at the time which may have accounted for that. The room had very minimal furniture - only one bedside table, 5 clothes hangers, no seating area or table (had to sit on bed). The terrace closed at 11pm which meant you had to be in your room after 11, which when there was nowhere else to sit wasn’t ideal.
Really beautiful place, even though it is old, doesn't feel weared out at all. The rooms are small but at least feel made with really good intentions, as the bunk beds are not the traditional minimum acceptable structure that can hold your weight, instead they feel like a second floor towards your bed. The breakfast was great as well, the kitchen is big and clean; the ovwral place feels big. Would recommmend, but beware with the space of the rooms. If you have too many luggage, will feel small. If you are travelling light, will be probably fine.
We were spending a weekend in Barcelona with a friend and couldn't ask for a better accommodation. Apart from its perfect location, the room was big and bed very comfortable. The nights were quiet even if the room was facing the main busy street. I liked the white wine at the bar downstairs and the vending machine close to our room. The staff was very helpful and well organised. Would definitely come back!
Staff are efficient and friendly. The library, study/meeting area and breakfast area with a range of food choices are lovely. Best of all their daily cleaning of rooms, daily change of linen and fresh towel is one service of high standard for a hostel. Would be happy to stay again in the future and recommend the place to friends.
Fantastic stay with unbeatable value, superb location close to shopping spots. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, especially the fresh fruits. Facilities were excellent and clean, including spacious rooms with great amenities and reliable Wi-Fi.
Stay here for 4 nights everything was perfect, especially the facility. The kitchen is always clean there are so many cleaners; they clean your room and tidy up your bed every day . The decoration is very cute. There are also spice in the kitchen very convenient for cooking some pasta. Location is great close to everything so many restaurants and shops nearby.
The property exceeded my expectations in every way. The location was superb, with easy to the airport and convenient transport options. The facilities were top- notch , especially the reliable WI-FI . The staff were friendly and helpful, and the cleanliness of the property was impeccable. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend it to any one visiting the area.
4 nights here with great & friendly roomies. Comfortable bed and blanket. They provided bath and face towels, and bathing soap which is really nice. There were cabinet for you to keep your bag. Toilet is in the room which is very convenient. Only small issue was the toilet door for my room, the door knob had some issue opening the door. But not a big issue 😊 best hostel stay experience in Europe so far
Prices go crazy high in Barcelona so when we stayed in this tiny cozy hotel when the same price is a big suite in Thailand, it blew my mind. Regardless, what a pleasant stay! The people were nice and it was truly good enough for some much needed rest after exploring the streets of Barcelona. Gracia's probably my favorite neighborhood so far.
Great location, but disappointing service. There was no shampoo in the room, and when I called, I was told housekeeping had gone home so nothing could be done. It still wasn’t refilled the next day. Towels also had stains. Good location, but service and cleanliness need improvement.
Terrible experience, staff unpleasant, condersending, rude and unhelpful. I had a incident where a new arrival mistook my bed space for his and on my return back to my dorm room found him sleeping in my bed. I reported this to female receptionist who asked me who he was etc. I informed her that was not my job, she hesitantly sorted the situation but it was so unprofessional. The experience around the hostel was so toxic from the vibes created by staff it was clear to feel. Not very welcoming to say the least, if you visit Barcelona do well to avoid this place for sure. A gentle reminder to the hostel, staff play a crucial role in making a hostel a nice place to stay, maybe look at your current cohort as i believe some are not doing your business any benefit

Casa Gracia Hostel is no longer Casa Gracia - it is now called Room00. You can definitely tell the difference. Customer service is bad. No wifi in my room, the 2 front desk girls are rude and disrespectful. They assigned someone to my bed while I was still there. Very Unprofessional. I’m very disappointed because I usually don’t stay in hostels but the old Casa Gracia customer service was great and the facility was well maintained. That’s not the case anymore. 😢
