Good Location”
Overall it is a good hotel with very basic amenities. We love the location and the helpful staff. Unfortunately the were doing renovation to their restaurant so we had to cross the street to another Clarion hotel to have breakfast.
Great Location with Good food”
The view from the jacuzzi was amazing and we saw the Northern Lights from it. They wouldn’t call it “Aurora Hotel” for nothing because we also saw the lights on our bedroom window! They have great food served every night and there are diy waffles at 3pm. The breakfast was also good but they serve the same thing every morning. The rooms are clean enough and spacious enough for 2 people. I just wish there is a bit more space for opening up luggages, but that may just be a personal preference of mine. The staff are helpful but they weren’t approachable and warm. Overall, we’ve had a nice time in this hotel and would definitely recommend to people staying in Tromso who wants to have a relaxing time with hopes of seeing the Northern Lights.

We enjoyed our stay here at Clarion Collection Hotel Aurora. Easy access to the flybussen (bus that takes you to and from the airport- you can purchase tickets on board the bus). Free breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner. The dinner was quite decent, a different main dish every night. The breakfast was the same each morning though (not that I’m complaining as it was free!). Free waffles for afternoon tea everyday. The staff were super helpful and answered our questions. There are shops and restaurants within walking distance also.

Location : fantastic!! Bed : better than most 5 stars hotels!!! Breakfast : good norwegian style food!! Late brunch waffles : omg!! Best thing ever invented!! Dinner : just great to have it!! Rooftop jacuzzi : 5 stars right there!! Sauna : it was not hot when i use. But if it was omg! The views!! It is a bit pricey for hotel. Speacially if you plan on having dinner outside. But hell it's norway T.T I'd say this one is the best choice in town. (If you're not booking on high season) Hotel lobby has aurora tour counter. It was 950nok which is cheaper than others ( ask for sam he gives you loads of freebies^^)
