They crash my car”

I dropped off my car in the evening when I arrive the next morning when they brought me my car up to the front found that my car being crashed in the rear also when I did the reservation online breakfast was included in the morning they say sorry breakfast not included TV was not working they supposed to come fix it never showed up one of the worst weekend getaway experience with this motel

$30.00 a night for parking”

We could not find parking in the structure. Driving in circles after paying for parking. Finally went to the office regarding parking and was asked to park in the hotel’s driveway on the side street. Many other customers circling for parking as well. Everything else was fine.

Great service & great location”

Read a couple of negative reviews after booking and was worried about staying here. Even considered cancelling the non refundable booking! We decided to give it a try and so glad we did. Our room (903) was clean and comfortable, good sized bathroom, safe, fridge and comfy chairs. Within a comfortable stroll to downtown or Bayside and a few minutes from Little Italy. Breakfast buffet was a bit sparce but had everything we wanted. Would most certainly stay here again. Thanks for a great experience.

Under renovation”

The hotel is under renovation, there's no direction to room as you exit the elevator because is just bare concrete. Room is clean. The older Valet attendant is annoying who makes you feel stupid. Parking is not included in the stay. It's $32/ night.

Comfortable, clean. Not exactly very central but fairly decent location still. The staff was quite helpful and go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable.

Terrible”

I purchased two nights and checked out a day early because the room was that bad. Window facing the freeway, tiny bed, ugly/oddly arranged bathroom (sink, mirror, light switch outside the bathroom), room was shaped and positioned with 0 sense of decor. It looked like a 4 year designed the blue prints. Would never recommend not go back ever.

hotel have good location at downtown, close to seaport , close to old downtown. room is middle space ,comfort and clear , value for money .

Something to think about”

Nice location a stone throw from downtown. The only issue I had was the eco-green option, which means you elect not to have your room serviced for a certain amount of time. Unfortunately that means also, that your garbage won’t be emptied, coffee, tea won’t be resupplied. Since I was bringing my dinner in my room and I have stayed there for 5 days imagine the rest. It took more than three requests over 3 days to have my garbage emptied. The staff seems not concerned at all! Maybe the fact it was in renovation played a role? One good thing is the breakfast, top floor nice view of the city, delightful sunrise!

Within walking distance to SD Opera ”

Our purpose of the trip was to attend SD Opera performance before they closed down. Since this was our first time to visit SD, we were not sure how close the hotel was to Civic Theatre where the opera was performed. It turned out that it was w/i walking distance. My hotel res. confirmation said no breakfast included, but we were delighted that it was, and it was quite good with fresh fruits and yogurt among other items. The room was comfortable with two double beds, and the bathroom was also comfortablly appointed with enough towels. Something needs to be done with the shower curtain; although we were very careful about putting the curtain bottoms inside the tub, somehow lots of water spilled out and covered the floor. The staff was mostly friendly exept for a couple who were at the front desk when we returned after the opera. We walked in ready to return their greetings, but they were talking to each other and completely ignored us.
