I stayed here on Songkarn days for few days. Everything was just perfect! The lady at reception so nice. Location quite good - near Central Plaza KK which is the biggest shopping mall in town and the price I've paid is reasonable.

Basic hotel”

Quite a basic outfitted hotel. Everything works, such as aircon and hot water. Could not quite figure out if the toast and coffee in the small coffee shop was included in the price of the room or not. Anyway it was only instant coffee, toast and jam. So hardly worth the effort. Did not see any western breakfast nearby. The mattress in one of the 2 rooms we got was quite firm, but the staff brought a thick very comfortable topper from another room. They also allowed 8 am check in free of charge which was nice.

Large clean modern room with small balcony, fridge, a good mattress, and plenty of outlets. Reliable WiFi (even in the rain). Building is well off the main road, and rooms are on a courtyard, so the area is quiet. Location, near Hugz Mall, is very good if you want Western-style coffee and snacks. The main road has plenty of shops and a large, though not modern, mall is nearby, with a pharmacy. Breakfast is DIY, but I don't eat breakfast so I can't how good it is. Unless the owner is present (early morning?) staff does not speak English at all, although they're kind and welcoming. There is a key deposit of 100 baht, refunded on departure. All in all, a good place, with the good location a bonus. I would stay again. Cab and tuk tuk drivers don't seem to know where KK Centrum is. Going EAST on Sri Charn (train station and airport are to the west) take the first left BEFORE Hugz Mall, which is Supatheera Road. There will be a sign for the "Next Grand Hotel". On Supatheera, take the second left, where there is a sign for KK Centrum, and go to the end of the cul de sac. NOTE: At least for me, Google Maps is wrong; it doesn't put KK Centrum at the end of the cul de sac, and confuses it with Next Grand. Use street view to get the correct position.

stayed here because close to central plaza and for reviews - especially about free DIY breakfast ( not true). pro's; clean, quiet, WIFI good, TV has English channels, bed ok con's no free DIY breakfast (from older reviews), very basic, have stayed recently in nicer and newer hotels for same price

Fantastic, clean and kind hitel”

We had a fantastic stay and extended our time in Khon Kaen from two to five nights because it's a great hotel in a great city. Only a little English is spoken at the hotel, but the staff are incredibly welcoming and nice. They have a notice board with places to visit marked on the town map. Rooms are some of the best vale in Asia. Spotless, spacious and cleaned every day. Aircon, TV, fridge etc. Located right downtown with excellent food, markets, railway station, bus stand and Cineplex in walking distance. Highly recommend.

Good value for money self service accomodation”

I had a pleasent stay at the hotel. Didn't look very good from the road but as I walked further in, the place showed more promise. There were building work of large scale near the hotel but no noise interruption at all in the room. Breakfast was basic - eggs, rice, bread, coffee etc (more effort could be made with the spread) and its a make your own kinda thing, however, I do like this fact as you can still keep some sort of normally like when you're at home. Bars, restaurants (loads) and shopping centre are in close walking distance. Laundry Service, Taxi, Bike hire, connection to Origanised Tours are available at request. This is a good basic budget hotel and is where I would stay again on my next visit.

Quiet Hotel In A Reasonable Location”

My stay at KK Centrum Hotel was pleasant enough. The staff were quite nice, with one or two possessing very good English. The room was fine and the Wi-Fi internet worked without a problem. The location is central and ok, but the hotel itself is tucked away a little bit, and only one tuk tuk driver had heard of the hotel. If you familiarise yourself with the area, and don't mind walking a little bit, then this hotel is acceptable in my opinion.

Good little guesthouse. Quiet location, about a 10 minute walk to the city centre. About a 25 minute walk from the (old)inter-province bus terminal. Very average breakfast. Clean comfortable room, with smallish bathroom.

The worst hotel I've ever seen”

We booked two nights. Arrived there the room was durty and very old , smell of dust , toilet durty and ugly ... The fridge was durty too and was smelling putrid and the microwawe too. We went away the same day , cannot nor get the shower . We ask to agoda call center to have back the money of the second day and the staff kindly agreeded . We went to sleep in a wondeful hotel at the same price nearly sited in the other side of the street.
