Excellent Budget Hotel”
The Lord Nelson Hotel has been my accommodation of choice for the past 8 years. The location is superb with just a minute's distance from Lime Street Station, with the town centre, Albert Dock, theatres etc all very accessible. Other train and bus stations are also extremely close by. The staff at the hotel are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The continental breakfast is back to the really good standard it was when I first started staying here. Considering the low cost and the included breakfast, it is incredible value for money. I have read reviews which aren't so complimentary, but I think one has to be reasonable and take all aspects into account. It may not be a 5-star fancy hotel but it's a comfortable bed with an en-suite, plasma TV, hot shower and a safe place to leave valuables when you are out The Reception area has a staff member available 24/7. It would be great if the lift could be fixed but now the pandemic is over and things return to more of an normality and the hotel is busier, this may be something they will look to rectify. I really enjoyed my stay and look forward to returning soon and I do thoroughly recommend The Lord Nelson as long as you are prepared to accept this is a budget hotel. It is such a plus in so many ways which makes a trip to fabulous Liverpool all the easier and better.

2nd or third time staying absolutely love the staff everyone so friendly and helpful . Hotel itself is a bargain stay with nice clean and tidy rooms never had breakfast so cannot comment but Lord Nelson hotel is probably the most convenient hotel in Liverpool right next too Lime st Station it’s awesome

I never anticipated that I'd have access to all the hotel facilities I desired for the price I paid. It's reassuring to discover that there are still accommodations like Lord Nelson Hotel, offering affordable rates for solo travelers like myself without compromising on cleanliness or quality. The entire establishment was impeccably maintained, providing excellent value for money. I'll certainly choose to stay here again on my next trip to Liverpool. I sincerely hope that Lord Nelson continues to keep their prices low so that spontaneous visitors like me can continue to enjoy everything the hotel has to offer. Thank you once again for making my stay so enjoyable.

Excellent value for money. Cheap as chips basic hotel. Super location. Went with no expectations other hoping it would be clean. Far exceeded that. It's less than a minutes walk from lime street train station. So really central. Staff are super friendly and lovely. Room was basic but clean , comfy bed with lovely soft Cotton bed linen so had a decent nights sleep. Bathroom was huge with a decent shower too. Tea and coffee in the room . I really couldn't fault it. It definitely be our go to when we come back to Liverpool!
