great view”

booked the room with harbour view, and the view is indeed awesome. convenient with many eatries and a supermarket near the hotel. also very near to king’s cross station.

Decent hotel”

The room had 2 beds for 4 of us - 2 adults and 2 kids. There was a stove, microwave and utensils for cooking purposes. Though the space wasn't as much as in a full fledged apartment, it was good enough to prepare baby food/milk.

Pleasant stay ”

Everything provided for a nice stay. Kitchenette, tea, coffee. WiFi didn’t always work. Parking was $40/night. I didn’t find out until checkout.

Good choice you won't regret ”

Very nice for the few day stay staff is so friendly... We stay room level 02-14 Can see the view at the harbour .... opposite is the convenient stall... at the hotel left is a fountain the cafe and bar food was so delicious. Totally good and great stay .. The room a little noice and it's not a problem for us beacause I was so tired for the travel...

Best service staffs”

The staffs assisted me to call the airlines in Australia in order for me to get our return tickets back to my country immediately . They even helped us a call a taxi as we need to reach the airport within an hour. Very good service and my family would like to thank the 3 staffs working on 10 July 2018.

The Macleay Hotel has been tastefully refurbished and has everything you need: comfortable bed, good wifi, good air-con, iron and ironing board in the room. It's also in a great location with many restaurants and cafes at your doorstep plus a supermarket across the road. Excellent!

Great hotel”

I stayed here for 4 nights. Loved it. Great location . Very clean, staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely return. Soo handy having cooking facilities. Thanks for a great stay.

Harbour and opera house from our room on the 9th floor . It was amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful too always coming forward to ask us about f we need anything. The location speaks for itself . It's so close to everything especially kings cross train station I would definitely recommend this hotel and would be back to stay again if I'm ever in Sydney. The only setback was the wifi connection can be slow at most times

Great stay at Macleay”

The hotel is nicely kept, the room is a little small but well equipped. Checking in and out were fast, friendly and helpful staff. The staff introduced me to a walk by Wooloomooloo Bay to the Botanic Garden and The Opera House. I went there for a run in the morning.

Lovely hotel near the city, ”

I have had a pleasant stay at the hotel. the staffs are all so friendly. I planned a proposal and the hotel staffs helped me in it. Thanks to Paulo and Susan! They are awesome!Place is so clean and best is the view of the harbour bridge!

Perfect hotel to stay at”

The view is just priceless, when you get back to the hotel and open the windows, your view is direct to the harbor bridge and Opera House. On the other hand if you wake up in the morning and the first view of the SOH (Sydney Opera House) and the Harbor Bridge during sunrise is just astounding!

Good Location”

the hotel is locate in king cross, so many pubs & nightclub. near the railway walk around 10 mins. & have supermarket at front of hotel. the room not too large but have a big balcony. price is acceptable.

A real gem in a great location ”

Well situated close to public transport. Friendly staff, outdoor pool(amazing for location) with small kitchen, this is real value for money. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Clean. Smallish rooms and some very overlooked but a brilliant base for Sydney. I’d definitely stay here again

Great Spot for a Hotel”

This hotel is tucked away in a great spot. There are lots of eating places close by and Woolworths supermarket is just across the road. Kings Cross Station is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House are within walking distance - a leisurely and interesting 30 to 45 minute walk. The staff at the hotel (especially Cyrus) were very helpful and friendly. They made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. We definitely recommend this hotel and will most certainly stay here again if we're in Sydney.

Ideal location, helpful friendly staff. The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was comfortable. Our room faced the street, and traffic noise was a little intrusive in the early hours of the morning. We have already booked our next stay.

Caring hotel, classy neighbourhood ”

The reception and operational staffs were very caring and accommodating. We were given the opportunity to check the available room options for our preferred views. The overall check-in process was efficient noneteheless. The room and the facilities were very clean with fresh ambiance. Good Wifi and comfortable bed. The kitchen and coking amenities are an extremely useful given we could easily did the grocery at the Metro/Woolworth across the street. Located in the beautiful, serene, classy and friendly Potts Point neighbourhood, the hotel is within walking distance to Circular Quay. It cost quite reasonably to reach Sydney attraction spots via taxi (we are a family of four including two children) from the hotel. Our family had a wonderful experience in Sydney which nonetheless contributed with the excellent experience in staying in Macleay. Our sincere appreciation to Paolo, Cyrus and the rest of the Macleay staffs. We definitely look forward to staying again at Macleay Hotel.

Perfect Position”

A previously undiscovered gem in Potts Point. Great location - the most perfect views with sunrises to marvel at. A very comfortable clean room with all facilities. Everything in walking distance around. For sure we will be back and referring to friends. Best rooms for best harbor views 303, 403, 503, 603, 703, 803, 903 the higher the better :)

Value for money, quiet side of Sydney”

If you are travelling alone or with adults, this is quite a nice quiet place to stay, see locals n away from the noise of the city... The street outside the hotel is quite ok....however when you walk towards king cross, u see homeless, drunkard etc... U have no trouble passing the areas but with small kids, there r better options. Personally i love the quietness of the place n patron cafes that locals go n blend in... With small kitchen n cutleries provided, and good grocery mall opposite the hotel.... We manage to cook 2 meals n tsste the good quality food in sydney....

Very happy with our stay”

We had a small concern about the reputation of the neighborhood of this hotel. They were unfounded. Lovely stay, small grocery, restaurants and amenities close by, along with a very short walk to the HoHo bus. The front desk staff were beyond helpful and informative. We stayed at this location post cruise, took a cab from Central. It all worked well. Would stay at this location again.
