Value for money”
It is for what you pay good value particularly if you wish to be close to Soi Baukhao, also known as Soi Geriatic! Minimum facilities but OK for one night.
Not worth it”
I have been coming back to that place for 10 years. It's a nice location, rooms are large with a big terrace. These are the pluses. On the other end staff hardly speaks english but is nice. My bathroom did not hold hot water for more than 5 minutes and the sink did not drain. Last but not least the wifi does not work on the 3rd and 4th floor. Rooms usually on first and second floors are booked because the wifi is good. In Thailand wifi works everywhere but not at Marina House. It's January 2020. Don't go there unless you read good reviews about wifi or you book on lower floors (but you won't know). I can handle anything else but, come on, nowadays you have to be able to connect.
Basic but adequate”
The location is great to mingle with the Cheap Charlies that promenade Soi Geriatric aka Soi Buakow. The rooms are and balcony are good size but it offers very few and basic facilities. Overall it is OK for a day or two. I used it for a one night lay over in Pattaya which served the purpose.
